| 1 | Using repeated precise gps campaigns for research of present-day crustal movement and strain in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The problem of crustal movement in the Qing-hai-Tibetan Plateau is a hotstopic of the present-day international geodetic world. GPS observations in 1993, 1995 and 1997 are used to survey the three-dimensional displacement of GPS monitoring station in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, and to calculate and analyze the present-day crustal movement and strain in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. The result of repeated campaign shows that the crustal movement in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau is still compressing in the north and south directions, extending in the west and east directions, and uplifting in the vertical direction. The relative convergence velocity of the Himalayan block is approximately (19.5±1.7)mm/a, the strain velocity is about (5.5±6.0) mm/a, and the uplifting velocity is some (7.6±5.2) mm/a. | 2 | Resolving co- and early post-seismic slip variations of the 2021 MW 7.4 Madoi earthquake in east Bayan Har block with a block-wide distributed deformation mode from satellite synthetic aperture radar data显示文摘On 21 May 2021(UTC),an MW 7.4 earthquake jolted the east Bayan Har block in the Tibetan Plateau.The earthquake received widespread attention as it is the largest event in the Tibetan Plateau and its surroundings since the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake,and especially in proximity to the seismic gaps on the east Kunlun fault.Here we use satellite interferometric synthetic aperture radar data and subpixel offset observations along the range directions to characterize the coseismic deformation of the earthquake.Range offset displacements depict clear surface ruptures with a total length of~170 km involving two possible activated fault segments in the earthquake.Coseismic modeling results indicate that the earthquake was dominated by left-lateral strike-slip motions of up to 7 m within the top 12 km of the crust.The well-resolved slip variations are characterized by five major slip patches along strike and 64%of shallow slip deficit,suggesting a young seismogenic structure.Spatial-temporal changes of the postseismic deformation are mapped from early 6-day and 24-day InSAR observations,and are well explained by time-dependent afterslip models.Analysis of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)velocity profiles and strain rates suggests that the eastward extrusion of plateau is diffusely distributed across the east Bayan Har block,but exhibits significant lateral heterogeneities,as evidenced by magnetotelluric observations.The block-wide distributed deformation of the east Bayan Har block along with the significant co-and post-seismic stress loadings from the Madoi earthquake imply high seismic risks along regional faults,especially the Tuosuo Lake and Maqên-Maqu segments of the Kunlun fault that are known as seismic gaps. | Shuai Wang Chuang Song ShanShan Li Xing Li | 2022 | Earth and Planetary Physics2022,6,1: | 7 |
| 3 | Correlation-weighted least squares residual algorithm for RAIM显示文摘The Least Squares Residual(LSR)algorithm,one of the classical Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring(RAIM)algorithms for Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS),presents a high Missed Detection Risk(MDR)for a large-slope faulty satellite and a high False Alarm Risk(FAR)for a small-slope faulty satellite.From the theoretical analysis of the high MDR and FAR cause,the optimal slope is determined,and thereby the optimal test statistic for fault detection is conceived,which can minimize the FAR with the MDR not exceeding its allowable value.To construct a test statistic approximate to the optimal one,the CorrelationWeighted LSR(CW-LSR)algorithm is proposed.The CW-LSR test statistic remains the sum of pseudorange residual squares,but the square for the most potentially faulty satellite,judged by correlation analysis between the pseudorange residual and observation error,is weighted with an optimal-slope-based factor.It does not obey the same distribution but has the same noncentral parameter with the optimal test statistic.The superior performance of the CW-LSR algorithm is verified via simulation,both reducing the FAR for a small-slope faulty satellite with the MDR not exceeding its allowable value and reducing the MDR for a large-slope faulty satellite at the expense of FAR addition. | Dan SONG Chuang SHI Zhipeng WANG Cheng WANG Guifei JING | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,5: | 6 |
| 4 | Differences in pathological changes between two rat models of severe traumatic brain injury显示文摘The rat high-impact free weight drop model mimics the diffuse axonal injury caused by severe traumatic brain injury in humans,while severe controlled cortical impact can produce a severe traumatic brain injury model using precise strike parameters.In this study,we compare the pathological mechanisms and pathological changes between two rat severe brain injury models to identify the similarities and differences.The severe controlled cortical impact model was produced by an electronic controlled cortical impact device,while the severe free weight drop model was produced by dropping a 500 g free weight from a height of 1.8 m through a plastic tube.Body temperature and mortality were recorded,and neurological deficits were assessed with the modified neurological severity score.Brain edema and bloodbrain barrier damage were evaluated by assessing brain water content and Evans blue extravasation.In addition,a cytokine array kit was used to detect inflammatory cytokines.Neuronal apoptosis in the brain and brainstem was quantified by immunofluorescence staining.Both the severe controlled cortical impact and severe free weight drop models exhibited significant neurological impairments and body temperature fluctuations.More severe motor dysfunction was observed in the severe controlled cortical impact model,while more severe cognitive dysfunction was observed in the severe free weight drop model.Brain edema,inflammatory cytokine changes and cortical neuronal apoptosis were more substantial and blood-brain barrier damage was more focal in the severe controlled cortical impact group compared with the severe free weight drop group.The severe free weight drop model presented with more significant apoptosis in the brainstem and diffused blood-brain barrier damage,with higher mortality and lower repeatability compared with the severe controlled cortical impact group.Severe brainstem damage was not found in the severe controlled cortical impact model.These results indicate that the severe controlled cortical impact model is relatively more stable,more reproducible,and shows obvious cerebral pathological changes at an earlier stage.Therefore,the severe controlled cortical impact model is likely more suitable for studies on severe focal traumatic brain injury,while the severe free weight drop model may be more apt for studies on diffuse axonal injury.All experimental procedures were approved by the Ethics Committee of Animal Experiments of Tianjin Medical University,China(approval No.IRB2012-028-02)in Febru ary 2012. | Yi-Ming Song Yu Qian Wan-Qiang Su Xuan-Hui Liu Jin-Hao Huang Zhi-Tao Gong Hong-Liang Luo Chuang Gao Rong-Cai Jiang | 2019 | Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,10: | 4 |
