3Fabrication and microstructure evolution of C_(sf)/ZrB_(2)-SiC composites via direct ink writing and reactive melt infiltration显示文摘Fiber damage and uniform interphase preparation are the main challenges in conventional short fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composites.In this work,we develop a novel processing route in fabrication of short carbon fiber reinforced ZrB_(2)-SiC composites(C_(sf)/ZrB_(2)-SiC)overcoming the above two issues.At first,C_(sf) preforms with oriented designation and uniform PyC/SiC interphase are fabricated via direct ink writing(DIW)of short carbon fiber paste followed by chemical vapor infiltration.After that,ZrB_(2) and SiC are introduced into the preforms by slurry impregnation and reactive melt infiltration,respectively.Microstructure evolution and optimization of the composites during fabrication are investigated in detail.The as-fabricated C_(sf)/ZrB_(2)-SiC composites have a bulk density of 2.47 g/cm^(3),with uniform weak interphase and without serious fiber damage.Consequently,non-brittle fracture occurs in the C_(sf)/ZrB_(2)-SiC composites with widespread toughening mechanisms such as crack deflection and bridging,interphase debonding,and fiber pull-out.This work provides a new opportunity to the material design and selection of short fiber reinforced composites.Jun LU Dewei NI Chunjing LIAO Haijun ZHOU Youlin JIANG Bowen CHEN Xuegang ZOU Feiyan CAI Yusheng DING Shaoming DONG 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,6:1

7Dynamic evolutions of ecological carrying capacity in poor areas using ecological footprint model at Ruyang County of China显示文摘In this study,the ecological footprint(EF)from 2004 to 2013 of a poor county chosen from Central China was measured and analyzed by using the methodology and theory of EF.The results showed that in the past 10 years,the county’s ecological footprint per capita was growing gradually,increasing from 0.7053 hm^(2)in 2004 to 1.4473 hm^(2)in 2013,with growth clearly accelerated in recent years.During the same period,the ecological carrying capacity per capita reduced from 0.6351 hm^(2)to 0.5018 hm^(2).Additionally,regional development had been in a state of ecological deficit,per capita ecological deficit increased from 0.0702 hm^(2)to 0.9456 hm^(2).This led to contradictions between regional socio-economic development and sustainability of natural ecosystems,meaning the development of the region is unsustainable.Measures to reduce the ecological deficit were proposed to coordinate regional industrialization,urbanization,ecological environmental protection,and to promote the sustainable development in the region(e.g.adjusting industrial structure and consumption structure,promoting economic transformation,scientific planning and management of land).The results could provide a scientific basis for studies on ecological carrying capacity of the poor areas in Central China.Wang Jun Zhang Qiaoming Zou Chunjing Wang Jinxin Li Yongsheng Wang Mingchun 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2:1
8A mixed culture of Propionibacterium freudenreichii and Lactiplantibacillus plantarum as antifungal biopreservatives in bakery product显示文摘In this study,15 strains of Lactic acid bacteria(Allata et al.)and 6 strains of propionic acid bacteria(PAB)were firstly tested for their antifungal activity against three spoilage fungi,Aspergillus niger,Penicillium crustosum and Aspergillus flavus.Two strains of LAB and PAB were selected and assessed,alone or paired,for their abilities to inhibit the most resistant mold,Aspergillus niger.A mixed culture of P.freudenreichii D6 and L.plantarum L9 was found to be the most active and their optimal inoculum was 1×10^(8) and 1×10^(6) CFU/mL,respectively.Furthermore,the in situ antifungal effect of the mixed culture was evaluated against bakery product spoilage fungi.It was found that the growth of airborne fungi was delayed for up to 7 days.The cell number of L.plantarum L9 was slightly increased by the presence of P.freudenreichii D6.Quantification of three main acids(propionic,lactic and acetic acid)produced by the protective cultures suggested that acetic acid was mainly responsible for the antifungal activity.In conclusion,the mixed culture of P.freudenreichii and L.plantarum may be exploited as biopreservatives in bakery products.Qiong Ran Fan Yang Min Geng Lujie Qin Zhongyi Chang Hongliang Gao Deming Jiang Chunjing Zou Caifeng Jia 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:0
