1FeCo alloy/N,S dual-doped carbon composite as a high-performance bifunctional catalyst in an advanced rechargeable zinc-air battery显示文摘The rational design and development of cost-effective,high-performance,and stable bifunctional oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)electrocatalysts are essential for rechargeable zinc-air batteries.Herein,a novel FeCo composite composed of alloy nanoparticles embedded in an N,S dual-doped carbon matrix(FeCo/NSC)was prepared via one-step carbonization of amphiphilic dodecanethiol-metal salts wrapped in carbon nitride(C_(3)N_(4)).The compact combination of dual metalalloys and dual-doped carbon endowed the composite with the active sites for the ORR and OER,achieving efficient electrical transmission and highly efficient bifunctional catalytic performance.The obtained FeCo-1/NSC catalyst exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity with a half-wave potential of 0.82 V(vs.RHE)for the ORR and a low overpotential of 0.325 V at 10 mA cm^(-2) for the OER.The liquid Zn-air battery with FeCo-1/NSC as an air electrode displayed excellent charge-discharge performance,high power density,and robust charge-discharge stability for 150 h compared to the 20%Pt/C+RuO_(2) counterpart.Furthermore,the FeCo-1/NSC-based flexible solid-state Zn-air battery exhibited a higher power density and good charge-discharge stability over 10 h of operation.Thus,a promising strategy for bifunctional electrocatalyst development as part of rechargeable and wearable Zn-air batteries was provided.Shengming Chang Hui Zhang Zhongyi Zhang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:3

3Antibody Response to COVID-19 Virus--Heilongjiang Province and Gansu Province,China,2020显示文摘What is already known about this topic?Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has become a global pandemic,while the profile of antibody response against the COVID-19 virus has not been well clarified.What is added by this report?In this study,210 serum samples from 160 confirmed COVID-19 cases with different disease severities were recruited.The IgM,IgA,IgG,and neutralizing antibodies(NAb)against COVID-19 virus were determined.Our findings indicated that four antibodies could be detectable at low levels within 2 weeks of disease onset,then rapidly increasing and peaking from the 3^(rd) to 5^(th) Weeks.NAb decreased between 5^(th) and 9^(th) Weeks,and a higher IgM/IgA level was observed in the groups with mild/moderate severity within 2 weeks(p<0.05),while all 4 types of antibodies were higher in the group with severe/critical severity after 4 weeks(p<0.05).What are the implications for public health practice?Our study on the dynamics of serological antibody responses against COVID-19 virus among COVID-19 patients complements the recognition regarding the humoral immune response to COVID-19 virus infection.The findings will help in the interpretation of antibody detection results for COVID-19 patients and be beneficial for the evaluation of vaccination effects.Naiying Mao Zhen Zhu Shuangli Zhu Deshan Yu Jun Xu Aili Cui Lei Cao Jinyuan Guo Huiling Wang Dongyan Wang Dongmei Yan Yang Song Qian Yang Zhongyi Jiang Hui Zhang Chang Shu Ming Yang Yanhai Wang Jinbo Xiao Zhenzhi Han Yong Zhang Yan Zhang Wenbo Xu 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,34:1

6A mixed culture of Propionibacterium freudenreichii and Lactiplantibacillus plantarum as antifungal biopreservatives in bakery product显示文摘In this study,15 strains of Lactic acid bacteria(Allata et al.)and 6 strains of propionic acid bacteria(PAB)were firstly tested for their antifungal activity against three spoilage fungi,Aspergillus niger,Penicillium crustosum and Aspergillus flavus.Two strains of LAB and PAB were selected and assessed,alone or paired,for their abilities to inhibit the most resistant mold,Aspergillus niger.A mixed culture of P.freudenreichii D6 and L.plantarum L9 was found to be the most active and their optimal inoculum was 1×10^(8) and 1×10^(6) CFU/mL,respectively.Furthermore,the in situ antifungal effect of the mixed culture was evaluated against bakery product spoilage fungi.It was found that the growth of airborne fungi was delayed for up to 7 days.The cell number of L.plantarum L9 was slightly increased by the presence of P.freudenreichii D6.Quantification of three main acids(propionic,lactic and acetic acid)produced by the protective cultures suggested that acetic acid was mainly responsible for the antifungal activity.In conclusion,the mixed culture of P.freudenreichii and L.plantarum may be exploited as biopreservatives in bakery products.Qiong Ran Fan Yang Min Geng Lujie Qin Zhongyi Chang Hongliang Gao Deming Jiang Chunjing Zou Caifeng Jia 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:0
