Digital tongue image analyses for health assessment显示文摘Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),as an effective alternativemedicine, utilizes tongue diagnosis as a major method to assess the patient’shealthstatusbyexaminingthe tongue’s color, shape, and texture.Tongue images can also give the pre-disease indications without any significant disease symptoms, which provides a basis for preventive medicine and lifestyle adjustment. However, traditional tongue diagnosis has limitations,as the process may be subjective and inconsistent.Hence,computer-aided tongue diagnoses have a great potential to provide more consistent and objective health assessments. This paper reviewed the current trends in TCMtongue diagnosis, including tongue image acquisition hardware, tongue segmentation, feature extraction, color correction, tongue classification, and tongue diagnosis system. We also present a case of TCM constitution classification based on tongue images. | Jiacheng Xie Congcong Jing Ziyang Zhang Jiatuo Xu Ye Duan Dong Xu | 2021 | Medical Review2021,1,2: | 1
A novel wavy non-uniform ligament chiral stent with J-shaped stress-strain behavior to mimic the native trachea显示文摘Tracheal stents are an important form of treatment for benign or malignant central airway obstruction. However, the mechanical behavior of current tracheal stents is significantly different from that of the native trachea, which leads to a variety of serious complications. In this study, inspired by the structure of the native trachea,a wavy non-uniform ligament chiral tracheal stent is proposed,in which J-shaped stress-strain behavior and negative Poisson's ratio response are achieved by replacing the tangential ligament of tetrachiral and anti-tetrachiral hybrid structure with a wavy non-uniform ligament.Through the combination of theoretical analysis, finite element analysis and experimental tests,a wide range of desired J-shaped stress-strain curves are explored to mimic the native porcine trachea by tailoring the stent geometry.Besides, the negative Poisson’s ratio and auxetic diameter curves versus axial strain of the stent are also studied in detail, thus contributing to the enhancement of cross-section ventilation and reducing the migration of the stent. This novel tracheal stent with a unique microstructure shows a potential to perfectly match the physiological activities of the native trachea and thereby reduce potential complications. | Jiapeng Liu Xinhua Yao Zhenwei Wang Jian Ye Congcong Luan Jianzhong Fu Yong He | 2021 | Bio-Design and Manufacturing2021,4,4: | 0
Revealing alkali metal ions transport mechanism in the atomic channels of Au@a-MnO_(2)显示文摘Understanding alkali metal ions’(e.g.,Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+))transport mechanism is challenging but critical to improving the performance of alkali metal batteries.Herein using a-MnO_(2)nanowires as cathodes, the transport kinetics of Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+)in the 2×2 channels of a-MnO_(2)with a growth direction of[001]is revealed. We show that ion radius plays a decisive role in determining the ion transport and electrochemistry.Regardless of the ion radii,Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+)can all go through the 2×2 channels of a-MnO_(2),generating large stress and causing channel merging or opening. However, smaller ions such as Li^(+)and Na^(+)cannot only transport along the[001]direction but also migrate along the<110>direction to the nanowire surface;for large ion such as K^(+),diffusion along the<110>direction is prohibited. The different ion transport behavior has grand consequences in the electrochemistry of metal oxygen batteries(MOBs).For Li-O_(2)battery,Li^(+)transports uniformly to the nanowire surface, forming a uniform layer of oxide;Na^(+)also transports to the nanowire surface but may be clogged locally due to its larger radius, therefore sporadic pearl-like oxides form on the nanowire surface;K^(+)cannot transport to the nanowire surface due to its large radius, instead,it breaks the nanowire locally, causing local deposition of potassium oxides. The study provides atomic scale understanding of the alkali metal ion transport mechanism which may be harnessed to improve the performance of MOBs. | Jingzhao Chen Yong Su Hongjun Ye Yushu Tang Jitong Yan Zhiying Gao Dingding Zhu Jingming Yao Xuedong Zhang Tingting Yang Baiyu Guo Hui Li Qiushi Dai Yali Liang Jun Ma Bo Wang Haiming Sun Qiunan Liu Jing Wang Congcong Du Liqiang Zhang Yongfu Tang Jianyu Huang | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7: | 0
Healthcare data analysis system for regional medical union in smart city显示文摘Regional medical unions are practical approaches to deal with the cases that patients crowd in Grade 3 Class A general hospitals in metropolitan cities such as Shanghai,in China. However, electronic medical data analysis exists challenges when patients are referred among different hospitals in the regional medical unions during treatment procedures. In smart cities, demands for medical services provided by smart devises, complicate the environment of medical data analysis. In order to tackle the above problems,in this paper,a healthcare data analysis system for regional medical union is designed to support doctors from different hospitals to assess health conditions of patients in an overall data view.Behaviour patterns are mined from physiological index values.Tags are generated from social networks data to find the hot topics concerned by people living in common region.Experiments are given to illustrate the feasibility of the system in supporting healthcare data analysis. | Boyi Xu Ling Li Daiping Hu Bin Wu Congcong Ye Hongming Cai | 2018 | Journal of Management Analytics2018,5,4: | 0
Visual Comparison of Customer Stickiness in Retail Stores显示文摘Understanding market trends and forming competitive promotion strategies has always been a major task of retail store managers. One big challenge is the lack of effective tools for in-depth customer behavior analysis. In this paper, we apply visual analytics techniques to address the challenge, which is built up on the emerging and mobile location big data. We present a system that focuses on the analysis of customer stickiness which represents customers' affinity to retail stores. The system integrates mobile data pre-processing, customer stickiness analysis, multi-view visualization, and a set of interactions. The visual analytics techniques are mainly designed for two types of user tasks: 1) understanding the spatio-temporal distribution of customer traces related to retail stores; 2)evaluating the performance and trend of multiple retail stores through visual comparison. We have demonstrated the effectiveness of the system through two case studies including advertisement placement and business branch reconfiguration. | JIANG Tao SHI Lei ZHAO Ye ZHANG Xiatian LU Yao HUANG Congcong | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2018,27,5: | 0
Sporolactobacillus GD201215-the Reason forSwelling of Fruit Jelly显示文摘A gram-positive facultatively anaerobic bacterium, named Sporolactobacillus GD201215, was isolated from swollen fruit jelly. Colonies were circular, bulgy, opaque, moist and white, with a 1-2 mm diameter. Its sequence showed 97.46% and96.91% homology with Sporolactobacillus vineae SL153 T and S. putidus QC81-06 T, respectively. Sporolactobacillus GD201215 uses glucose, fructose and sucrose to produce acid, and metabolizes sodium citrate to generate CO_2 which is responsible for swelling of fruit jelly. It grew anaerobically in GYP broth at 37 ℃, p H 3.5-7.0, with 0-2%(w/v) Na Cl, and could be killed by heating at 71 ℃ for above 5 min. | Congcong LIU Quanxue LAN Guowu YANG Qiongying YAN Xiuling YE Jianfei HUANG Lin LIN Jing CHEN | 2016 | Agricultural Science & Technology2016,17,12: | 0
