| 1 | A more consistent intraluminal rhesus monkey model of ischemic stroke显示文摘Endovascular surgery is advantageous in experimentally induced ischemic stroke because it causes fewer cranial traumatic lesions than invasive surgery and can closely mimic the pathophysiology in stroke patients. However, the outcomes are highly variable, which limits the accuracy of evaluations of ischemic stroke studies. In this study, eight healthy adult rhesus monkeys were randomized into two groups with four monkeys in each group: middle cerebral artery occlusion at origin segment(M1) and middle cerebral artery occlusion at M2 segment. The blood flow in the middle cerebral artery was blocked completely for 2 hours using the endovascular microcoil placement technique(1 mm × 10 cm)(undetachable), to establish a model of cerebral ischemia. The microcoil was withdrawn and the middle cerebral artery blood flow was restored. A reversible middle cerebral artery occlusion model was identified by hematoxylin-eosin staining, digital subtraction angiography, magnetic resonance angiography, magnetic resonance imaging, and neurological evaluation. The results showed that the middle cerebral artery occlusion model was successfully established in eight adult healthy rhesus monkeys, and ischemic lesions were apparent in the brain tissue of rhesus monkeys at 24 hours after occlusion. The rhesus monkeys had symptoms of neurological deficits. Compared with the M1 occlusion group, the M2 occlusion group had lower infarction volume and higher neurological scores. These experimental findings indicate that reversible middle cerebral artery occlusion can be produced with the endovascular microcoil technique in rhesus monkeys. | 2 | Conjugate heat transfer investigations of turbine vane based on transition models显示文摘The accurate simulation of boundary layer transition process plays a very important role in the prediction of turbine blade temperature field. Based on the Abu-Ghannam and Shaw (AGS) and c-Re h transition models, a 3D conjugate heat transfer solver is developed, where the fluid domain is discretized by multi-block structured grids, and the solid domain is discretized by unstructured grids. At the unmatched fluid/solid interface, the shape function interpolation method is adopted to ensure the conservation of the interfacial heat flux. Then the shear stress transport (SST) model, SST & AGS model and SST & c-Re h model are used to investigate the flow and heat transfer characteristics of Mark II turbine vane. The results indicate that compared with the full turbulence model (SST model), the transition models could improve the prediction accuracy of temperature and heat transfer coefficient at the laminar zone near the blade leading edge. | 3 | Dissection of heterosis for yield and related traits using populations derived from introgression lines in rice显示文摘Despite the great success achieved by the exploitation of heterosis in rice,the genetic basis of heterosis is still not well understood.We adopted an advanced-backcross breeding strategy to dissect the genetic basis of heterosis for yield and eight related traits.Four testcross(TC) populations with 228 testcross F1 combinations were developed by crossing57 introgression lines with four types of widely used male sterile lines using a North Carolina II mating design.Analysis of variance indicated that the effects of testcross F1 combinations and their parents were significant or highly significant for most of the traits in both years,and all interaction effects with year were significant for most of the traits.Positive midparent heterosis(HMP) was observed for most traits in the four TC populations in the two years.The relative HMPlevels for most traits varied from highly negative to highly positive.Sixty-two dominant-effect QTL were identified for HMPof the nine traits in the four TC populations in the two years.Of these,22 QTL were also identified for the performance of testcross F1.Most dominant-effect QTL could individually explain more than 10% of the phenotypic variation.Four QTL clusters were observed including the region surrounding the RM9–RM297 region on chromosome 1,the RM110–RM279–RM8–RM5699–RM452 region on chromosome 2,the RM5463 locus on chromosome 6 and the RM1146–RM147 region on chromosome 10.The identified QTL for heterosis provide valuable information for dissecting the genetic basis of heterosis. | Chao Xiang Hongjun Zhang Hui Wang Shaobo Wei Binying Fu Jiafa Xia Zefu Li Yongming Gao Guoyou Ye | 2016 | The Crop Journal2016,4,6: | 3 |

| 8 | Identifying key bird species and geographical hotspots of avian influenza A(H7N9)virus in China显示文摘Background:In China since the first human infection of avian influenza A(H7N9)virus was identified in 2013,it has caused serious public health concerns due to its wide spread and high mortality rate.Evidence shows that bird migration plays an essential role in global spread of avian influenza viruses.Accordingly,in this paper,we aim to identify key bird species and geographical hotspots that are relevant to the transmission of avian influenza A(H7N9)virus in China.Methods:We first conducted phylogenetic analysis on 626 viral sequences of avian influenza A(H7N9)virus isolated in chicken,which were collected from the Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data(GISAID),to reveal geographical spread and molecular evolution of the virus in China.Then,we adopted the cross correlation function(CCF)to explore the relationship between the identified influenza A(H7N9)cases and the spatiotemporal distribution of migratory birds.Here,the spatiotemporal distribution of bird species was generated based on bird observation data collected from China Bird Reports,which consists of 157272 observation records about 1145 bird species.Finally,we employed a kernel density estimator to identify geographical hotspots of bird habitat/stopover that are relevant to the influenza A(H7N9)infections.Results:Phylogenetic analysis reveals the evolutionary and geographical patterns of influenza A(H7N9)infections,where cases in the same or nearby municipality/provinces are clustered together with small evolutionary differences.Moreover,three epidemic waves in chicken along the East Asian-Australasian flyway in China are distinguished from the phylogenetic tree.The CCF analysis identifies possible migratory bird species that are relevant to the influenza A(H7N9)infections in Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Fujian,Jiangxi,and Guangdong in China,where the six municipality/provinces account for 91.2%of the total number of isolated H7N9 cases in chicken in GISAID.Based on the spatial distribution of identified bird species,geographical hotspots are further estimated and illustrated within these typical municipality/provinces.Conclusions:In this paper,we have identified key bird species and geographical hotspots that are relevant to the spread of influenza A(H7N9)virus.The results and findings could provide sentinel signal and evidence for active surveillance,as well as strategic control of influenza A(H7N9)transmission in China. | Benyun Shi Xiao-Ming Zhan Jin-Xin Zheng Hongjun Qiu Dan Liang Yan-Ming Ye Guo-Jing Yang Yang Liu Jiming Liu | 2018 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2018,7,1: | 1 |

| 12 | Synergy mechanism of defect engineering in MoS_(2)/FeS_(2)/C heterostructure for high-performance sodium-ion battery显示文摘MoS_(2) is a promising anode material in sodium-ion battery technologies for possessing high theoretical capacity.However,the sluggish Na^(+) diffusion kinetics and low electronic conductivity hinder the promises.Herein,a unique MoS_(2)/FeS_(2)/C heterojunction with abundant defects and hollow structure(MFCHHS)was constructed.The synergy of defect engineering in MoS_(2),FeS_(2),and the carbon layer of MFCHHS with a larger specific surface area provides multiple storage sites of Na^(+)corresponding to the surface-controlled process.The MoS_(2)/FeS_(2)/C heterostructure and rich defects in MoS_(2) and carbon layer lower the Na^(+) diffusion energy barrier.Additionally,the construction of MoS_(2)/FeS_(2) heterojunction promotes electron transfer at the interface,accompanying with excellent conductivity of the carbon layer to facilitate reversible electrochemical reactions.The abundant defects and mismatches at the interface of MoS_(2)/FeS_(2) and MoS_(2)/C heterojunctions could relieve lattice stress and volume change sequentially.As a result,the MFCHHS anode exhibits the high capacity of 613.1 mA h g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1) and 306.1 mA h g^(-1) at 20 A g^(-1).The capacity retention of 85.0%after 1400 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1) is achieved.The density functional theory(DFT)calculation and in situ transmission electron microscope(TEM),Raman,ex-situ X-ray photon spectroscopy(XPS)studies confirm the low volume change during intercalation/deintercalation process and the efficient Na^(+)storage in the layered structure of MoS_(2) and carbon layer,as well as the defects and heterostructures in MFCHHS.We believe this work could provide an inspiration for constructing heterojunction with abundant defects to foster fast electron and Na^(+) diffusion kinetics,resulting in excellent rate capability and cycling stability. | Linlin Ma Xiaomei Zhou Jun Sun Pan Zhang Baoxiu Hou Shuaihua Zhang Ningzhao Shang Jianjun Song Hongjun Ye Hui Shao Yongfu Tang Xiaoxian Zhao | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7: | 0 |

While these platforms offer avenues for self-expression and community support, they concurrently harbor negative impacts, fostering antisocial behaviors like phishing, impersonation, hate speech, cyberbullying, cyberstalking, cyberterrorism, fake news propagation, spamming, and fraud. Notably, individuals also leverage these platforms to connect with authorities and seek aid during disasters. The overarching objective of this research is to address the dual nature of network platforms by proposing innovative methodologies aimed at enhancing their positive aspects and mitigating their negative repercussions. To achieve this, the study introduces a weight learning method grounded in multi-linear attribute ranking. This approach serves to evaluate the significance of attribute combinations across all feature spaces. Additionally, a novel clustering method based on tensors is proposed to elevate the quality of clustering while effectively distinguishing selected features. The methodology incorporates a weighted average similarity matrix and optionally integrates weighted Euclidean distance, contributing to a more nuanced understanding of attribute importance. The analysis of the proposed methods yields significant findings. The weight learning method proves instrumental in discerning the importance of attribute combinations, shedding light on key aspects within feature spaces. Simultaneously, the clustering method based on tensors exhibits improved efficacy in enhancing clustering quality and feature distinction. | 17 | Prognostic nomogram incorporating radiological features for predicting overall survival in patients with AIDS-related non-Hodgkin lymphoma显示文摘Background: Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS)-related non-Hodgkin lymphoma (AR-NHL) is a high-risk factor for morbidity and mortality in patients with AIDS. This study aimed to determine the prognostic factors associated with overall survival (OS) and to develop a prognostic nomogram incorporating computed tomography imaging features in patients with acquired immune deficiency syndrome-related non-Hodgkin lymphoma (AR-NHL).Methods: A total of 121 AR-NHL patients between July 2012 and November 2019 were retrospectively reviewed. Clinical and radiological independent predictors of OS were confirmed using multivariable Cox analysis. A prognostic nomogram was constructed based on the above clinical and radiological factors and then provided optimum accuracy in predicting OS. The predictive accuracy of the nomogram was determined by Harrell C-statistic. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to determine median OS. The prognostic value of adjuvant therapy was evaluated in different subgroups.Results: In the multivariate Cox regression analysis, involvement of mediastinal or hilar lymph nodes, liver, necrosis in the lesions, the treatment with chemotherapy, and the CD4 ≤100 cells/μL were independent risk factors for poor OS (allP < 0.050). The predictive nomogram based on Cox regression has good discrimination (Harrell C-index = 0.716) and good calibration (Hosmer-Lemeshow test,P = 0.620) in high- and low-risk groups. Only patients in the high-risk group who received adjuvant chemotherapy had a significantly better survival outcome.Conclusion: A survival-predicting nomogram was developed in this study, which was effective in assessing the survival outcomes of patients with AR-NHL.
