1SSR Analysis of Genetic Relationship and Classification in Chrysanthemum Germplasm Collection显示文摘To further test the accuracy and rationality of the Chinese classification system for chrysanthemum(Chrysanthemum morifolium), 10 simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers were used to identify a collection of 88 chrysanthemum and its related genera accessions. In total, 42 effective alleles across 88 accessions were detected; 3 429 bands were obtained by PCR amplification, including 2 630 polymorphic bands. The similarity coefficient ranged from 0.53 to 0.88. Cluster analysis based on UPGMA illustrated that the wild species and large-flower cultivars were first divided into two clusters, then the large-flower cultivars formed five distinct groups according to petal type, indicated that petal type can be a classification criterion. In the wild species cluster, C. vestitum and C. zawadaskii grouped with A. trilobata, suggested that the Ajania genera was closely related to the Chrysanthemum genera. ‘Hangbaiju’, ‘Gongju’ and ‘Chuju’ were grouped together, and ‘Boju’, O. longilobus and C. mongolicum constituted another branch, showed a correlation with geographic region of origin. Population structure analysis was subsequently performed with K values ranging from 2 to 10, and the most likely estimate for the population structure is five subpopulations, which is nearly consistent with the clustering results. Principle component analysis was further performed to verify the classification results. 2Research progress of the endocrine disrupting activities of polychlorinated biphenyls显示文摘Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) arc global persistent organic pollutants. Almost all commercial PCBs mixtures, single PCB congener, and their metabolites possess endocrine disrupting activities. They can disrupt the estrogen/androgen system, thyroid hormone system and other endocrine systems by interfering with the synthesis, transport, storage, metabolism, and feedback regulation of hormones. 3Characteristics and Outcome of Exertional Heatstroke Patients Complicated by Acute Hepatic Injury:A Cohort Study显示文摘Background and Aims:Exertional heatstroke(EHS)is associated with strenuous physical activity in hot environments.The present study aimed to investigate dynamic changes of hepatic function indices in EHS patients and determine risk factors for death.Methods:This single-center retrospective cohort study considered all patients with EHS admitted to the intensive care unit at the General Hospital of Southern Theater Command of PLA from October 2008 to May 2019.Data on general characteristics,organ function parameters,and the 90-day outcome of enrolled patients were collected.Hepatic indices were collected dynamically,and patients with acute hepatic injury(AHI)were identified by plasma total bilirubin(TBIL)≥34.2μmol/L and an international normalized ratio≥1.5,or with any grade of hepatic encephalopathy.Results:In patients who survived,TBIL,alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase were increased at 24 h,peaked at 2–3 days,and began to decrease at 5 days.In non-survivors,TBIL continuously increased post-admission.The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve for the prediction of mortality based on sequential organ failure assessment(SOFA)scores was 89.8%,and the optimal cutoff value was 7.5.Myocardial injury and infection were identified as independent risk factors for death in EHS patients with AHI.Conclusions:In EHS patients,hepatic dysfunction usually occurred within 24 h.Patients with AHI had more severe clinical conditions,and significantly increased 90-day mortality rates.SOFA scores over 7.5,complicated with myocardial injury or infection,were found to be risk factors for death in EHS patients with AHI.Jingjing Ji Jinghua Gao Conglin Wang Leifang Ouyang Zheying Liu Zhifeng Liu 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,5:6
4Antigenic analysis of grass carp reovirus using single-chain variable fragment antibody against IgM from Ctenopharyngodon idella显示文摘Grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) is an important species of freshwater aquaculture fish in China. However, grass carp reovirus (GCRV) can cause fatal hemorrhagic disease in yearling populations. Until now, a strategy to define the antigenic capacity of the virus's structural proteins for preparing an effective vaccine has not been available. In this study, some single-chain variable fragment antibodies (scFv), which could specifically recognize grass carp IgM, were selected from a constructed mouse na ve antibody phage display cDNA library. The identified scFv C1B3 clone was shown to possess relatively higher specific binding activity to grass carp IgM. Furthermore, ELISA analysis indicated that the IgM level in serum from virus-infected grass carp was more than two times higher than that of the control group at 5-7 days post infection. Moreover, Western blot analysis demonstrated that the outer capsid protein VP7 has a specific immuno-binding-reaction with the serum IgM from virus-infected grass carp. 5Designing soft/hard double network hydrogel microsphere/UHMWPE composites to promote water lubrication performance显示文摘Several soft tissues residing in the living body have excellent hydration lubrication properties and can provide effective protection during relative motion.In order to apply this advantage of soft matters in practical applications and try to avoid its disadvantage,such as swelling and weakening in water,a design strategy of a soft/hard double network(DN)hydrogel microsphere modified ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)composite is proposed in this study.A series of microspheres of urea-formaldehyde(UF),polyacrylamide(PAAm)hydrogel,UF/PAAm double network,and their composites were prepared.The mechanical properties,swelling,wettability,friction properties,and the lubrication mechanisms of the composites were investigated.The results show that DN microspheres can have an excellent stability and provide hydration lubrication.The performance of 75 DN-1 composite was superior to others.This finding will provide a novel strategy for the development of water-lubricated materials and have wide application in engineering fields.Chaobao WANG Xiuqin BAI Conglin DONG Zhiwei GUO Chengqing YUAN Anne NEVILLE 2021Friction2021,9,3:3

7Strategic Response to a Powerful Downstream Retailer:Difference-Setting Wholesale Pricing Contract and Partial Forward Integration显示文摘We study a supply chain consisted of a supplier and both retailers,and the supplier sells a single product through a dominant retailer and a weak retailer.The aggressive bargaining behavior of the dominant retailer brings the supplier much concern and two feasible strategies are presented to respond to that:difference-setting wholesale pricing contract and integration with the weak retailer.We investigate the decisions of supply chain members under each solution and find that,compared to the traditional form,the supplier always benefits from announcing the difference-setting wholesale pricing contract for it not only raises the marginal wholesale profits of both channels but also reduces the market share of the dominant retailer,thus potentially weakening its channel power.In addition,we show that combining with the weak retailer is not a wise choice for suppliers when the dominant retailer with relatively little bargaining power enjoys a large market share.Finally,by comparing the equilibria of these two solutions,we find that the optimal choice for suppliers depends not only on the difference in market share but also on the dominant retailer's bargaining power in the negotiation.Conglin Hu Bin Liu Yunhui Liu 2022Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2022,31,1:1
8Formation of nanocrystalline graphite in polymer-derived SiCN by polymer infiltration and pyrolysis at a low temperature显示文摘The microstructure of polymer-derived ceramics(PDCs)was closely related to processing.This study demonstrated that SiCN matrix prepared by polymer infiltration and pyrolysis(PIP)at 900℃ inside a Si_(3)N_(4) whisker(Si_(3)N_(4w))preform with submicro-sized pores differed from its powder-consolidated analogue in both the content and structure of free carbon.Chemical analysis showed that PIP process had a higher free carbon yield.Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)observation discovered a higher graphitization degree of free carbon and the existence of nanocrystalline graphite in SiCN matrix.Dielectric properties of Si_(3)N_(4w)/SiCN composites were greatly enhanced when volume fraction of SiCN matrix reached 24.5%due to dielectric percolation caused by highly-lossy free carbon.Reconsolidation of hydrocarbon released during pyrolysis by gas-state carbonization in Si_(3)N_(4) whisker preform was supposed to account for the high yield and graphitization degree of free carbon in PIP process.Mingxing LI Laifei CHENG Fang YE Conglin ZHANG Jie ZHOU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,6:1

19Comparative transcriptome analysis of Ts(Resistant genotype)and Ma(Susceptible genotype)marigold(Tagetes erecta L.)leaves in response to Alternaria tagetica显示文摘Marigold black spot caused by Alternaria tagetica is a major disease that can decrease marigold production by 40%,resulting in serious economic losses.In this study,we identified many genes responsive to A.tagetica in the resistant and susceptible marigold genotypes.Analyses of differentially expressed genes,expression trends,and a weighted gene co-expression network revealed a series of hub genes with key roles in different A.tagetica infection stages.Additionally,1216 unigenes encoding transcription factors from eight families were differentially expressed between Ts and Ma.Moreover,R genes fromvarious families(e.g.,N,NL,RLP,and TNL)were differentially expressed in the twomarigold genotypes before and after the inoculation with A.tagetica.Pathway diagrams were used to visualize the leaf transcriptional changes in the two marigold genotypes infected by A.tagetica to clarify the effects of A.tagetica on the expression patterns of genes involved in phosphatidylinositol signaling,plant–pathogen interactions,and plant hormone signal transduction.We identified candidate genes related to disease resistance and generated valuable resources for analyzing the candidate gene functions related to black spot resistance in marigold.The study data may be useful for the molecular marker-assisted screening and breeding of marigold lines with increased disease resistance.Xi Cheng Dongliang Chen Chang Luo Hua Liu Conglin Huang 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,2:1
