1Restudies on Body Surface of Dung Beetle and Application of Its Bionics Flexible Technique显示文摘A scanning electron microscope was used to observe the structures of the setae on the surface of a dung beetle Copris ochus, Motschulsky. There are lots of setae on the body surface, especially on the ventral part surface and lateral to the legs which are different in size, arrangement and shape. These setae have different lengths and many thorns on the whole seta. The top ends of these setae stand up without furcations which direct uprightly towards the surface of the touched soil. By the method of removing these setae, getting the insect weight before and after digging into the dung we affirm farther that the setae on the beetle body surface form the anti-stick and non-adherent gentle interface. 9Conformation of 1,2-Dimethoxyethane in Water显示文摘To understand the conformation of 1,2-dimethoxyethane (DME) in water, a system of two kinds of molecules, DME and H2O, was focused. The interaction of various conformers of DME with water was studied by means of ab initio molecular orbital calculation with 6-31G(d)basis set. It is shown that there are two forms of interactions between the two molecules in the sys tem, the close touched (H2O attaches to the two oxygen atoms of DME) and the open touched (H2O attaches to one oxygen atom of DME) structures. The conformation of DME is remark ably influenced by the interactions. Instead the ttt conformer is preferred in the gas state, with a close touched H2O the tgt conformer becomes the most stable one. 10The impacts of economic restructuring and technology upgrade on air quality and human health in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in China显示文摘In this study, we have analyzed possible policy options to improve the air quality in an industrialized region—Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei (BTH) in China. A comprehensive model framework integrating GAINS-China, GEOS-Chem, and IMED/HEL is established to investigate the impacts of various policies on air pollution and health effects. The model establishes a data interface between economic input/output data and the emission inventory of atmospheric pollutants in the BTH region. Based on in-depth analyses of pollutant emission standards, industrial structure, pollution-intensive industries, and emission intensities in BTH and Pearl River Delta, several scenarios are constructed to explore the effectiveness of policy pathways in improving air quality in the BTH region. These scenarios include two categories: the category of “Industrial Technology Upgrade Policy” scenarios that focuses on reducing the emission intensity of industries vs. that of “Industrial Structure Adjustment Policy” scenarios that focuses on adjusting the proportion of industrial value-added. Our results show that the policy path of industrial technology upgrading can be effective and feasible, while economic structure adjustment shows complex and mixed effectiveness. We also find that the proposed policies and measures will be efficient to reduce pollution of primary pollutants and fine particles, but may not effectively mitigate ambient ozone pollution. 12LOW-FREQUENCY LOW-NOISE CIRCUITS DESIGN USING AN E_n-I_n MODEL显示文摘In view of the limitations of a Rn-Gn model in the low frequency range and the defects of an En-In model in common use now, this paper builds a complete En-In model according to the theory of random harmonic. The parameters for the low-noise design such as the equivalent input noisy voltage Ens, the optimum source impedance Zsopt and the minimum noise figure Fmin can be calculated accurately by using this En-In model because it considers the coherence between the noise sources fully. Moreover, this paper points out that it will cause the maximum 30% miscalculation when neglecting the effects of the correlation coefficient 7. 13Study and Application of Health Care Measure in Tunnel Construction of Qinghai-Tibet Railway显示文摘In this paper we studied a key control project in QinghaiTibet Railway construction. The project included the oxygen supplying system, the ventilation and air changing system measure of tunnel environment, monitoring and comprehensive treatment on airborne dust and toxic and harmful gases, hygiene intervention with builders in Fenghuoshan Tunnel construction. In the worst sector of the whole Qinghai-Tibet Railway line, we acquired a good achievement of the lowest incidence rate of altitude disease. Hence the Fenghuoshan Tunnel was joined up in advance, which set up a new record for frozen soil tunnel construction at high altitudes. 16Improved Populating Code-Excited Linear Predictive Coder显示文摘Although CELP coding has provided good quality synthetic speech at medium and low bit rates,the computation of an exhaustive search for stochastic codebook is extremely complex. 17Updated Chinese Evaluated Nuclear Parameter Library (CENPL-2)显示文摘An important trend in the evaluation of neutron and charged particle nuclear data, and analyses of experimental results at low energies is the increased use of nuclear reaction theory codes to compute the cross sections, spectra, and angular distributions required by a large variety of applications. 20Effects of pretreatment and reduction on the Co/Al_2O_3 catalyst for CO hydrogenation显示文摘The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of preadsorbed CO at different temperatures, calcination temperatures, the combined influence of reduction temperature and time, and pretreatment using hydrogen or syngas as reduc- tion agents on the F-T synthesis (FTS) activity and selectivity of Co/Al2O3 catalyst. The reactivity of the carbon species at higher preadsorption temperature with H2 in TPSR decreased, whereas the carbon-containing species showed higher reactivity over Co/Al2O3 catalyst with low calcination temperature. This agreed well with the order of catalytic activity for F-T syn- thesis on this catalyst. The catalytic activity of the catalyst varied with reduction temperature and time remarkably. CODEX optimization gave an optimum reduction temperature of 756 K and reduction time of 6.2 h and estimated C5+ yield perfectly. The pretreatment of Co/Al2O3 catalyst with different reduction agents (hydrogen or syngas) showed important influences on the catalytic performance. A high CO conversion and C5+ yield were obtained on the catalyst reduced by hydrogen, whereas methane selectivity on the catalyst reduced by syngas was much higher than that on the catalyst reduced by hydrogen.Xiaoping Dai Changchun Yu 2008Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2008,17,3:0
