1Influence of different extrusion processes on mechanical properties of magnesium alloy显示文摘AZ31 Mg alloy sheets were processed by the conventional symmetrical extrusion(CSE)and the asymmetric extrusion(ASE).Progressive-asymmetric extrusion(PASE)and severe strain-asymmetric extrusion(SASE)were employed for ASE processes.The texture at near-surface and mid-layer zones of ASE sheets was diverse penetrating the normal direction(ND).This was attributed to an additional asymmetric shear strain deformation during the ASE process.(0002)basal planes of PASE sheets tilt to the shear deformation direction.Meanwhile,the basal texture intensity of PASE sheets has been weakened compared with one in CSE sheets.Grain refinement and tilted weak basal texture obtained by SASE process dramatically enhances the room temperature strength and plasticity of the extruded AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets.The microstructure and mechanical responses were examined and discussed.Qingshan Yang Bin Jiang Hucheng Pan Bo Song Zhongtao Jiang Jiahong Dai Lifei Wang Fusheng Pan 2014Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2014,2,3:11

3Effect of Ca addition on grain refinement of Mg–9Li–1Al alloy显示文摘The as-cast and as-extruded Mg–9Li–1Al–xCa alloys(x=0,0.2;wt%)were prepared by a simple alloying process followed by hot extrusion with an extrusion ratio of 28.2.The microstructures of the as-cast and as-extruded Mg–9Li–1Al–xCa alloys were observed to investigate the effect of calcium(Ca)element on the Mg–9Li–1Al(LA91)alloy,and the crystallographic calculations between Al_(2)Ca and the matrix(α-Mg andβ-Li phases)were examined on the basis of the edge-to-edge matching model.The experimental results indicate that the addition of 0.2 wt%Ca into LA91 alloy reduce the size of theα-Mg phases in the as-cast alloy and that ofβ-Li phases in the as-extruded alloy due to the Al_(2)Ca particles distributed inside the matrix.Crystallographic calculation results suggested that there is a good crystallographic matching between the matrix and Al_(2)Ca,which confirmed that Al_(2)Ca particles can act as a heterogeneous nucleation site for bothα-Mg andβ-Li phases and were effective grain refiners for LA91 alloy.Ying Zeng Bin Jiang Dehui Huang Jiahong Dai Fusheng Pan 2013Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2013,1,4:4
4Effect of Ni on the microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of MgGd_1Ni_(x) alloys for fracturing ball applications显示文摘The effects of Ni addition on the mechanical properties, corrosion behaviors, and corrosion mechanism of Mg Gd_1 Ni_(x) alloys have been investigated by compressive tests, weight loss, hydrogen evolution, and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the constitution of the second phase is large dependence on Ni/Gd molar ratios, which can transform from LPSO(long-period stacking ordered)+Mg_5 Gd,LPSO to eutectic phase. In addition, with increasing Ni/Gd molar ratios, the content of second phase increases gradually, while the LPSO phase shows a parabola relationship. Furthermore, the formation of Nicontaining LPSO phase not only can improve the strength but also accelerate the degradation of Mg alloys owing to the galvanic corrosion. 6Development of metal-organic framework(MOF) decorated graphene oxide/Mg Al-layered double hydroxide coating via microstructural optimization for anti-corrosion micro-arc oxidation coatings of magnesium alloy显示文摘An efcient and simple in-situ growth strategy has been discovered for the preparation of highly reproducible and continuous symbiotic ZIF-8-based anticorrosion coating by using graphene oxide(GO)/Mg AlNO3layered double hydroxides(G/LDHs) buffer layer as a new type of connecting carrier based on micro-arc oxide(MAO) coating of AZ31 magnesium alloy. The components of ZIF-8 were adsorbed and bounded to the surface of the G/LDHs buffer layer-modified substrates to promote the nucleation of ZIF-8,thus growing a phase-pure, uniform, and good symbiosis ZIF-8 membrane. ZIF-8 particles with different growth times compensate for the grain boundary defects of the G/LDHs coating precursor buffer layer to different degrees. The prepared ZIF-8-based coating has excellent stability and corrosion resistance. The results demonstrate that the G/LDHs buffer layer provides a new channel for the MOF-modified MAO substrate of AZ31 magnesium alloy. 7Effects of Different Stretching Routes on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of AZ31B Magnesium Alloy Sheets显示文摘AZ31B magnesium alloy sheets were stretched by 13% along three different routes: the extrusion direction(Route A), 45° to the extrusion direction(Route B) and the transverse direction(Route C), and then were annealed at 350 °C for 60 min. The microstructure and texture, tensile mechanical properties and formability were investigated at room temperature. The results indicated that all the three stretched samples exhibited weakened basal texture, compared with the as-received sheet due to static recrystallization.By comparison, Route B processed sample showed the most dispersive basal texture, while Route A processed specimen exhibited the lowest basal intensity. Improved mechanical properties for the stretched and annealed sheets with different stretching routes were achieved. 8Research on reliability index of a large communication network with domain partition and interconnection显示文摘In order to indicate the performances of a large-scale communication network with domain partition and interconnection today,a kind of reliability index weighed by normalized capacity is defined.Based on the route rules of network with domain partition and interconnection,the interconnection indexes among the nodes within the domain and among the domains are given from several aspects.It is expatiated on that the index can thoroughly represent the effect on the reliability index of the objective factor and the subjective measures of the designer,which obeys the route rules of a network with domain partition and interconnection.It is discussed that the defined index is rational and compatible with the traditional index.Dai Fusheng 2009Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,3:2
9Twinning, grain orientation, and texture variations in Mg alloy processed by pre-rolling显示文摘A pre-rolling(PR) process with a small pre-strain was applied along the transverse direction(TD) and the extrusion direction(ED) of non-basal and basal textured AZ61 Mg alloys at room temperature to investigate the induced twinning behavior. The microstructural evolution of the alloys was used to evaluate the grain-boundary effect in terms of the texture variation. The results demonstrated that■ extension twinning was introduced by the PR process and that the volume fraction of twins increased with increasing thickness reduction. The subdivision of grains via twinning induced grain reorientation that generated a prominent basal texture with the c-axis parallel to the normal direction(ND) after PR. The textured Mg alloy with this c-axis//TD feature can promote twinning activity. The twinning performance was critical to initiate plastic deformation, therefore to determine deformation behavior at room temperature. 12Reliability index algorithm of a sub-domain interconnection large communication network显示文摘The normalized weighted capacity reliability index of a sub-domain interconnection large scale communication network is defined and a new algorithm to calculate the reliability index is proposed.The proposed algorithm can be performed using logical or algebraic operation by means of computer-aided programming and the correctness of each key step is validated in detail.This paper takes the sub-domain interconnection symmetrical topological network for a typical example to calculate the network reliability index and verifies the correctness of the proposed algorithm using the real measured statistical data.The real measured results are well in accordance with the results obtained by the proposed algorithm.The result shows that the proposed algorithm is a valid means to estimate the reliability index of a sub-domain interconnection large-scale communication network.Fusheng Dai Aijun Liu 2010Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,2:1

16Accelerated design of high-performance Mg-Mn-based magnesium alloys based on novel bayesian optimization显示文摘Magnesium(Mg),being the lightest structural metal,holds immense potential for widespread applications in various fields.The development of high-performance and cost-effective Mg alloys is crucial to further advancing their commercial utilization.With the rapid advancement of machine learning(ML)technology in recent years,the“data-driven''approach for alloy design has provided new perspectives and opportunities for enhancing the performance of Mg alloys.This paper introduces a novel regression-based Bayesian optimization active learning model(RBOALM)for the development of high-performance Mg-Mn-based wrought alloys.RBOALM employs active learning to automatically explore optimal alloy compositions and process parameters within predefined ranges,facilitating the discovery of superior alloy combinations.This model further integrates pre-established regression models as surrogate functions in Bayesian optimization,significantly enhancing the precision of the design process.Leveraging RBOALM,several new high-performance alloys have been successfully designed and prepared.Notably,after mechanical property testing of the designed alloys,the Mg-2.1Zn-2.0Mn-0.5Sn-0.1Ca alloy demonstrates exceptional mechanical properties,including an ultimate tensile strength of 406 MPa,a yield strength of 287 MPa,and a 23%fracture elongation.Furthermore,the Mg-2.7Mn-0.5Al-0.1Ca alloy exhibits an ultimate tensile strength of 211 MPa,coupled with a remarkable 41%fracture elongation.Xiaoxi Mi Lili Dai Xuerui Jing Jia She Bjørn Holmedal Aitao Tang Fusheng Pan 2024Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2024,12,2:0
17Influences of pulse frequency on formation and properties of composite anodic oxide films on Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al alloy显示文摘A thick composite anodic oxide film was fabricated in an environmentally friendly malic acid electrolyte containing Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene(PTFE)nanoparticles on Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al alloys.The influence of pulse frequency on the morphology,microstructure and composition of composite anodic oxide films containing PTFE nanoparticles was investigated using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy(FE-SEM)equipped with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS),Atomic Force Microscopy(AFM)and Raman spectroscopy.The tribological properties in terms of the friction coefficient,wear loss and morphology of worn surfaces were measured by ball-ondisc tests.The electrochemical property was evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization.The results indicated that the titanium dioxide of composite anodic oxide films transformed from anatase to rutile with the change of pulse frequency,which could result from the electrochemical dynamic equilibrium.The combination of PTFE nanoparticles and malic acid electrolyte molecules can influence the energy fluctuation of electrochemical equilibrium and formation of composite anodic oxide films.Moreover,composite anodic oxide films fabricated under the condition of 1.0–2.0 Hz exhibited the best wear resistance and corrosion property.The schematic diagram of the film formation and PTFE nanoparticles spreading process under different frequencies was elucidated.Xu DAI Chen WEN Liang WU Lei LIU Yulong WU Xingxing DING Jiahao WU Wenjun CI Aitao TANG Fusheng PAN 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,11:0
18Enrichment mechanism of gold during the process of lateritization in southern area of the Yuanmou ancient landmass, Yunnan, China显示文摘SINCE the first discovery of lateritic gold deposit which is easier to mining and dressing at Boddington inWestern Australia at the beginning of the 1980s, geologists have paid much attention to it, and it wasfound in tropical and subtropical regions. However, recently the metallogenetic mechanism has notbeen understood very well. In this note we reported some research results on the enrichment mechanism ofgold during the process of lateritization in the case of three lateritic profiles with some degree of gold enrichment located in southern area of the Yuanmou ancient landmass, Yunnan Province. The parent rocks of the investigated profiles (about 5-8 m thick) is metamorphic schist, in whichmean content of gold is 13.3×10-9. 19Effect of Zn on mechanical and corrosion properties of Mg-Sc-Zn alloys显示文摘The effect of different Zn concentrations(0 wt.%,1 wt.%,3 wt.%,and 6 wt.%)on the microstructure,cor-rosion property,and mechanical property of Mg-0.3Sc-x Zn(x=0 wt.%,1 wt.%,3 wt.%,and 6 wt.%)alloys was investigated.Here,MSZ1 alloy exhibits the highest corrosion resistance(0.194 mm/y)and appropriate mechanical properties with an ultimate tensile strength of 228 MPa and elongation of 19%.The superior corrosion resistance of Mg-0.3Sc-1Zn alloys is attributed to the homogeneous volta-potential distribution and the dense corrosion product film.With the increase in zinc content,the strength and plasticity of Mg-0.3Sc-x Zn alloys(x=0 wt.%,1 wt.%,3 wt.%,6 wt.%)improved to some extent.The precipitated ScZn phase plays the role of the second phase strengthening,which enables MSZ6 to obtain the maximum tensile strength.However,the ScZn phase with low volta potential intensifies the galvanic corrosion,re-sulting in the decline of the corrosion performance.Wenjun Ci Xianhua Chen Yue Sun Xu Dai Guanzheng Zhu Di Zhao Fusheng Pan 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,27:0
20Microstructures,mechanical properties and degradability of Mg-2Gd-0.5(Cu/Ni)alloys:A comparison study显示文摘Low alloying Mg-2 Gd-0.5(Cu/Ni)alloys for sealing tools in the oil and gas industry were prepared.The differences in the effects of minor Cu and Ni additions on microstructures and properties of the Mg-2 Gd alloy were compared.The results showed that adding Ni was more effective than adding Cu in refining grain sizes,strengthening the basal fiber texture,and promoting the formation of LPSO phases,resulting in higher strength.The tensile yield strength/elongation of the Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Cu alloy,Mg-2 Gd-0.25 Cu-0.25 Ni alloy,and Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Ni alloy was 146 MPa/23.7%,175 MPa/23.1%,and 248 MPa/18.2%,respectively.The decreased elongation was attributed to the basal fiber texture and the presence of coarse LPSO phases.In terms of the corrosion rate in 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution,it rose from 112 mm y^(-1)for the Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Cu alloy to 269 mm y^(-1)for the Mg-2 Gd-0.25 Cu-0.25 Ni alloy and 490 mm y^(-1)for the Mg-2 Gd-0.5 Ni alloy,indicating that the addition of Ni instead of Cu showed a more significant promoting effect on the degradability of Mg alloys,which was related to more refined grains,the stronger basal fiber texture,and a larger amount of LPSO phases.Shiyu Zhong Dingfei Zhang Yongqin Wang Sensen Chai Jingkai Feng Yulun Luo Jianrong Hua Qimin Dai Guangshan Hu Junyao Xu Bin Jiang Fusheng Pan 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33:0
