| 1 | Clinical and biochemical indexes from 2019-nCoV infected patients linked to viral loads and lung injury显示文摘The outbreak of the 2019-nCoV infection began in December 2019 in Wuhan,Hubei province,and rapidly spread to many provinces in China as well as other countries.Here we report the epidemiological,clinical,laboratory,and radiological characteristics,as well as potential biomarkers for predicting disease severity in 2019-nCoV-infected patients in Shenzhen,China.All 12 cases of the 2019-nCoV-infected patients developed pneumonia and half of them developed acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).The most common laboratory abnormalities were hypoalbuminemia,lymphopenia,decreased percentage of lymphocytes (LYM) and neutrophils (NEU),elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),and decreased CD8 count.The viral load of 2019-nCoV detected from patient respiratory tracts was positively linked to lung disease severity.ALB,LYM,LYM (%),LDH,NEU (%),and CRP were highly correlated to the acute lung injury.Age,viral load,lung injury score,and blood biochemistry indexes,albumin (ALB),CRP,LDH,LYM (%),LYM,and NEU (%),may be predictors of disease severity.Moreover,the Angiotensin Ⅱlevel in the plasma sample from 2019-nCoV infected patients was markedly elevated and linearly associated to viral load and lung injury.Our results suggest a number of potential diagnosis biomarkers and angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) drugs for potential repurposing treatment of 2019-nCoV infection. | Yingxia Liu Yang Yang Cong Zhang Fengming Huang Fuxiang Wang Jing Yuan Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Jianming Li Cheng Feng Zheng Zhang Lifei Wang Ling Peng Li Chen Yuhao Qin Dandan Zhao Shuguang Tan Lu Yin Jun Xu Congzhao Zhou Chengyu Jiang Lei Liu | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,3: | 157 |

| 3 | ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar isochron ages of lawsonite blueschists from Jiuquan in the northern Qilian Mountain,NW China,and their tectonic implications显示文摘Using laser 40Ar/39Ar dating method,we have gotten the metamorphic ages of lawsonite blueschist and epidote blueschist from Jiuquan,northern Qilian Mountain,NW China.The high quality laser 40Ar/39Ar dating of glaucophane from lawsonite blueschist gives an isochron age of 413±5 Ma.The isochron age obtained from phengite in epidote blueschist is 415±7 Ma.These data,combining with peak metamorphic P-T conditions and regional geological setting,allow us to infer that the lower limit of the ages of the prograde subduction metamorphism from lawsonite blueschist facies to epidote blueschist facies occurred at ca.413-415 Ma,which also suggests that the formation of lawsonite blueschist in the northern Qilian Mountain maybe resulted from the corner flow in the cold subduction zone.This study shows that the final closing time of the northern Qilian remnant oceanic basin is about 413-415 Ma,which also represents the convergent age between the North China Craton and the Qaidam block. | LIN YiHui ZHANG LiFei JI JianQing WANG QianJie SONG ShuGuang | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,19: | 15 |

| 5 | High-pressure granulite from Western Kunlun,northwestern China:Its metamorphic evolution,zircon SHRIMP U-Pb ages and tectonic implication显示文摘High-pressure mafic granulites occurring as lenticular bodies within garnet-amphibolites in Kangxiwar Fault have been first reported in this paper. The P-T conditions of two metamorphic stages were ob-tained using calibrated geothermal barometers and ThermoCalc Program. The peak metamorphic con-dition of these high-pressure granulites is about 760―820℃,1.0―1.2 GPa and the retrograde meta-morphic condition is about 620―720℃,0.7―0.8 GPa. The petrological studies show that they have a near-isobaric cooling P-T path which suggests that the Western Kunlun underwent initial crustal thickening,subsequent exhumation and cooling. The SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating gives two groups of ages for high-pressure granulites. One is 177±6 Ma which is obtained from the rim of the zircon. We consider this age should be the metamorphic age. And the other is 456±30 Ma which is obtained from the core of the zircon and should be the protolith age. | 6 | Clinical Analysis of Early and Mid-late Elevated Intraocular Pressure after Silicone Oil Injection显示文摘Purpose:.To discuss the incidence and clinical features of early and mid-late elevated intraocular pressure after pars plana vitrectomy and silicone oil injection, and to evaluate the clinical management of eyes with secondary glaucoma.Methods:.This was an observational consecutive case series of 691 eyes in 679 patients who were treated with pars plana vitrectomy and silicone injection...The diagnostic criteria of early elevated intraocular pressure after silicone oil injection was ≥21 mmHg two weeks after surgery, while mid-late elevated intraocular pressure was ≥21 mmHg after two weeks.The incidence and clinical management of elevated intraocular pressure were analyzed.Results: In total, 211 of 691 eyes(30.54%) developed elevated intraocular pressure two weeks after pars plana vitrecto my and silicone injection. Of the 211 eyes, 101 eyes(47.87%)had ocular inflammation, 64 eyes(30.33%) showed hyphema,35 eyes(16.59%) had silicone oil in the anterior chamber, 6eyes.(2.84%).had excess silicone oil injected,.and 5 eyes(2.37%).had rubeosis irides..Eighty three of 691 eyes(12.01%).developed elevated intraocular pressure after two weeks..Of these 83 eyes, 25 eyes(30.12%) had rubeosis irides,.16 eyes(19.27%) had issues related to topic steroid therapy,.13 eyes.(15.66%).had a papillary block,.silicone oil in the anterior chamber,10 eyes(12.05%) had a silicone emulsion,.10 eyes(12.05%).had peripheral anterior synchiae,.and 9 eyes(10.84%).had silicone oil in the anterior chamber..All eyes with elevated intraocular pressure were treated with antiglaucoma medications and surgeries.Conclusion:.The reasons for elevated intraocular pressure differed between early and mid-late after pars plana vitrectomy and silicone oil injection. | 10 | Hot deformation behavior and workability characteristic of a fine-grained Mg–8Sn–2Zn–2Al alloy with processing map显示文摘The hot deformation behavior of a fine-grained Mg–8 Sn–2 Zn–2 Al(TZA822, in wt%) alloy was investigated in the temperature range of 150–350°C and the strain rate of 0.01–10 s^-1 employing thermomechanical simulator. In most of the cases, the material showed typical dynamic recrystallization(DRX) features i.e., a signal peak value followed by a gradual decrease or to reach a steady state. The work hardening rate was found to increase with decreasing temperature and increasing strain rate, while strain rates had great effects on work hardening behavior. Meanwhile, the constitutive analysis indicated that cross-slip of dislocations was likely to be the dominant deformation mechanism. In addition, the processing map at the strain of 0.1–0.7 showed two stability domains with high power dissipation efficiencies and the optimum hot working parameters for the studied alloy was determined to be 350°C/0.01 s^-1 and 350°C/10 s^-1, at which continuous DRX(CDRX) and discontinuous DRX(DDRX) as main softening mechanism. | 12 | Epigenetic regulation of phosphodiesterase 4d in restrictive cardiomyopathy mice with cTnI mutations显示文摘Epigenetic regulations play an important role in disease development.In this study,we have investigated epigenetic regulations in restrictive cardiomyopathy mice with cTnI 193 His mutation.Our results demonstrated that phosphodiesterase(PDEs)4d was down-regulated in the heart of these mice.Further studies showed that the epigenetic modifications were associated with enhanced acetylation of histone 3 lysine 4 and lysines 9,whereas tri-methylation of histone 3 lysine 4,were decreased in histones near the PDE4d gene promoter regions.The binding levels of histone transmethylase SMYD1 and histone deacetylase HDAC1 were increased in the gene promoter regions in cTnI193 His transgenic hearts.Using immune-fluorescent labeling we found an evidence of cTnI existence in the nucleus of cardiomyocytes and Western blotting further confirmed that both wild type and mutated cTnI could be detected in the cell nucleus of the hearts.Furthermore,an interaction between cTnI and SMYD1,or cTnI and HDAC1 was observed.Overexpression of the mutated cTnI in cultured cardiomyocytes reduced the expression of PDE4d.Our data suggest that the decrease of PDE4d expression in RCM mice caused by cTnI mutations may be related to epigenetic regulation,i.e.,histone acetylation and methylation,and cTnI might be involved in this procedure via an interaction with HDAC1 and SMAD1 in the hearts. | Weian Zhao Xiaoqi Wu Zhiyuan Wang Bo Pan Lifei Liu Lingjuan Liu Xupei Huang Jie Tian | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,4: | 4 |
| 13 | Poly(dimethyl siloxane)anti-corrosion coating with wide pH-responsive and self-healing performance based on core-shell nanofiber containers显示文摘In this research,core-shell electrospun fibers loaded with the shell of cellulose acetate and the core of oleic acid and alkyd varnish resin were synthesized and used within poly(dimethyl siloxane)(PDMS)to prepare self-healing and p H-responsive coatings for a steel substrate.The morphology of the electrospun fibers was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and confocal fluorescence microscopy.Thermo gravimetric analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy revealed that the self-healing agents were loaded successfully with a loading rate of 2.9%.The properties of the fiber-PDMS composite coating were characterized by water contact angle measurements,mechanical tests,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,and scanning Kelvin probe.Results show that the maximum self-healing efficiencies of the fiber-PDMS coating in alkaline and acidic solution are 95.96%and 97.04%,respectively.The composition of the self-healing agents at the damaged part of the coating was verified by an infrared mapping test and using an energy dispersive spectrometer.In addition,the sandpaper abrasion test shows the hydrophobic effect of fiber-PDMS coating remains above 88.2%and decreases slightly through the addition of abrasion cycles.This research can pave the way for the industrial applications of p H-responsive self-healing coatings. | Xiaohong Ji Wei Wang Xia Zhao Lifei Wang Fubin Ma Yanli Wang Jizhou Duan Baorong Hou | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,6: | 4 |

| 15 | Water in coesite: Incorporation mechanism and operation condition,solubility and P-T dependence, and contribution to water transport and coesite preservation显示文摘A series of coesite,coexisting with or without a liquid phase,was synthesized in the nominal system SiO2-H2O at800-1450℃and 5 GPa.Micro-Raman spectroscopy was used to identity the crystalline phase,electron microprobe and LA-ICP-MS were employed to quantity some major and trace elements,and unpolarized FTIR spectroscopy was applied to probe the different types of hydrogen defects,explore water-incorporation mechanisms and quantify water contents.Trace amounts of A1 and B were detected in the coesite.Combining our results with the results in the literatures,we have found no positive correlation between the Al contents and the'Al'-based hydrogen concentrations,suggesting that previously proposed hydrogen-incorporation mechanism H^++Al^3+■Si^4+does not function in coesite.In contrast,we have confirmed the positive correlation between the B contents and the B-based hydrogen concentrations.The hydrogen-incorporation mechanism H^++B3^+■Si^4+readily takes place in coesite at different P-T conditions,and significantly increases the water content at both liquid-saturated and liquid-undersaturated conditions.For the SiO2-H2O system,we have found that type-Ⅰhydrogarnet substitution plays a dictating role in incorporating water into coesite at liquid-saturated condition,type-II hydrogarnet substitution contributes significantly at nearly dry condition,and both operate at conditions in between.The water solubility of coesite,as dictated by the type-Ⅰhydrogarnet substitution,positively correlates with both P and T,cH2O=-105(30)+5.2(32)×P+0.112(26)×T,with cH2O in wt ppm,P in GPa and T in℃.Due to its low water solubility and small fraction in subducted slabs,coesite may contribute insignificantly to the vertical water transport in subduction zones.Furthermore,the water solubility of any coesite in exhuming ultra-high pressure metamorphic rocks should be virtually zero as coesite becomes metastable.With an adequately fast waterdiffusion rate,this metastable coesite should be completely dry,which may have been the key factor to the partial preservation of most natural Coe.As a byproduct,a new IR experimental protocol for accurate water determination in optically anisotropic nominally anhydrous minerals has been found.Aided with the empirical method of Paterson(1982)it employs multiple unpolarized IR spectra,collected from randomly-orientated mineral grains,to approximate both total integrated absorbance and total integrated molar absorption coefficient.Its success relies on a high-level orientation randomness in the IR analyses. | Wei Yan Yanyao Zhang Yunlu Ma Mingyue He Lifei Zhang Weidong Sun Christina Yan Wang Xi Liu | 2021 | Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,1: | 3 |

| 19 | An effective rolling process of magnesium alloys for suppressing edge cracks: Width-limited rolling显示文摘To suppress the edge crack of the magnesium alloy sheet during the ordinary rolling process, a new rolling process named width-limited rolling was proposed in this paper. Width-limited rolling is a rolling method in which the width of the alloy sheet is limited by modifying the shape of the rollers, allowing a compressive stress field to form at the edge portion of the alloy sheet during rolling, resulting in the reduction of edge cracks. At present work, magnesium alloy sheets were separately subjected to ordinary rolling and width-limited rolling. The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the rolled sheets were investigated by EBSD, TEM, and XRD. The results exhibited that under the same rolling conditions, the sheet after ordinary rolling exhibited obvious edge cracks while no crack was found at the edge of the sheet after width-limited rolling. The edge crack suppressing effect was attributed to the reduction of the tensile stress along rolling direction during WLR, promoting the synchronous extension of the edge and center regions to suppress edge crack tendency. Microstructure observation showed that the compressive twins formed in the sheet after ordinary rolling usually exhibited as thin plates and cannot continue to fully develop due to the premature generation of the edge cracks. However, the compressive twins developed maturely in some of which double twins formed and various slip systems with different dislocation Burgers vectors occurred in the rolled sheet after WLR. More twin intersections and shear bands, providing more potential recrystallization nucleation sites, which are beneficial to weaken basal texture. | 20 | Metallic and ferromagnetic MoS2 nanobelts with vertically aligned edges显示文摘Edge effects are predicted to significantly impact the properties of low dimensional materials with layered structures. The synthesis of low dimensional materials with copious edges is desired for exploring the effects of edges on the band structure and properties of these materials. Here we developed an approach for synthesizing MoS2 nanobelts terminated with vertically aligned edges by sulfurizing hydrothermally synthesized MoO3 nanobelts in the gas phase through a kinetically driven process; we then investigated the electrical and magnetic properties of these metastable materials. These edge-terminated MoS2 nanobelts were found to be metallic and ferromagnetic, and thus dramatically different from the semiconducting and nonmagnetic two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) 2H-MoS2 materials. The transitions in electrical and magnetic properties elucidate the fact that edges can tune the properties of low dimensional materials.
