1Analysis of oral glucose tolerance test in pregnant women with abnormal glucose metabolism显示文摘Background Due to the controversy of the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), diagnostic criteria for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in the world and researches on GDM remain undeveloped in China. American Diabetes Association recently recommended the clinicians to diagnose GDM by OGTT results without the third-hour glucose value. This new criteria has not been used in China. Research on the value and sensitivity of the criteria in detecting GDM is rare. The aim of our study is to analyze the characteristics of OGTT in Chinese women with GDM or gestational impaired glucose tolerance (GIGT) and to evaluate the effect of omission of the third-hour plasma glucose (PG) level in OGTT on the sensitivity of diagnosing GDM and GIGT, and the relationship between PG values of 50 g GCT or OGTT and insulin therapy. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on medical records of 647 cases with GDM from January 1, 1989 to December 31, 2002, and 233 with GIGT. Among 647 cases of GDM, 535 cases were diagnosed by 75 g OGTT. All OGTT results including 535 cases of GDM and 233 patients with GIGT were evaluated. Results There were 112 cases of GDM diagnosed by elevated fasting PG (FPG) without OGTT performed. Of 535 cases of GDM diagnosed by OGTT, 49.2% (263/535) women had FPG value ≥5.8 mmol/L; 90.1% (482/535) women with 1-hour PG values ≥10.6 mmol/L; 64.7% (359/535) with 2-hour PG levels ≥9.2 mmol/L. There were only 114 cases (21.3%) with abnormal 3-hour PG levels among 535 women with OGTT. Among those with abnormal 3-hour PG level, 49.1% (56/114) had abnormal glucose values in the other three points of OGTT, and 34.2% (39/114) with two other abnormal values of OGTT. Our study showed that omission of the 3-hour PG of OGTT only missed 19 cases of GDM and they would be diagnosed as GIGT. Among the 233 women with GIGT, only 4 cases had abnormal 3-hour PG. So, omission of the third-hour glucose value of OGTT only resulted in failure to diagnose 3.6% (19/535) women with GDM diagnosed by OGTT, which means 2.9% (19/647) of all the GDM and 1.7% (4/233) of GIGT in Chinese women. PG levels ≥11.2 mmol/L following 50 g GCT was highly associated with GDM necessitating insulin therapy (75.4%). An elevated FPG level was also associated with insulin therapy (59.7%). Conclusions Omission of the third-hour glucose tolerance test value still yield a higher sensitivity in diagnosing GDM and GIGT. In Chinese women, it is practicable to omit third-hour post-glucose ingestion value of the OGTT in Chinese women. 3Development and application of mechanized maize harvesters显示文摘Maize harvesting is one of the most important filed operations of maize production.As the accelerating development of maize industry,mechanized maize harvesting is widely accepted and used by farmers in the world.According to the harvesting methods,maize harvesters could be classified into two types,one is maize-for-grain harvesters,including pickers and grain harvesters,the other is whole plant harvesters,including forage harvesters and combined grain-stover harvesters.Structure characteristics,appropriate areas and relative technologies of those harvesters are described in this paper,i.e.,pickers are suitable for multi-crop areas,Grain harvesters are mainly for one-crop areas when grain moisture content is lower than 25%,combined grain-stover harvesters are applicable in agro-pastoral ecotone,and forage harvesters are capable in large-scaled animal husbandry farming areas where large amount of silage are required.Meanwhile,the future development trend of the different harvesters is predicted.Big horsepower engines,enhanced working efficiency,automation and intelligence are required by large scaled farms.As maize breeding development,more varieties that are suitable for grain harvesting are put into practice,so grain combine harvesters will be popular in future.Yang Li Cui Tao Qu Zhe Li Kehong Yin Xiaowei Han Dandan Yan Bingxin Zhao Dongyue Zhang Dongxing 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,3:13
4Target-enclosing affine formation control of two-layer networked spacecraft with collision avoidance显示文摘This paper addresses a target-enclosing problem for multiple spacecraft systems by proposing a two-layer affine formation control strategy. Compared with the existing methods,the adopted two-layer network structure in this paper is generally directed, which is suitable for practical space missions. Firstly, distributed finite-time sliding-mode estimators and formation controllers in both layers are designed separately to improve the flexibility of the formation control system. By introducing the properties of affine transformation into formation control protocol design,the controllers can be used to track different time-varying target formation patterns. Besides, multilayer time-varying encirclements can be achieved with particular shapes to surround the moving target. In the sequel, by integrating adaptive neural networks and specialized artificial potential functions into backstepping controllers, the problems of uncertain Euler-Lagrange models, collision avoidance as well as formation reconfiguration are solved simultaneously. The stability of the proposed controllers is verified by the Lyapunov direct method. 6New Eoenantiornithid Bird from the Early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation of Western Liaoning, China显示文摘Enantionithine birds are the most blooming branch of early birds and have distinct diversities. A large number of enantionithine birds have been reported from the Early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation in western Liaoning, China. Recently, we discovered a new eoenantiornithid bird from the Jiufotang Formation in Dapingfang Town, western Liaoning. A new eoenantiornithid bird, Dapingfangornis sentisorhinus gen. et sp. nov., is erected based on this complete skeleton with a skull. The new bird is distinguished from other known Mesozoic birds in a medium to small size, a distinct thorn-like process on the nasals, a sternum with a long and a short lateral processes. 7Reinforcement Learning-Based Joint Task Offloading and Migration Schemes Optimization in Mobility-Aware MEC Network显示文摘Intelligent edge computing carries out edge devices of the Internet of things(Io T) for data collection, calculation and intelligent analysis, so as to proceed data analysis nearby and make feedback timely. Because of the mobility of mobile equipments(MEs), if MEs move among the reach of the small cell networks(SCNs), the offloaded tasks cannot be returned to MEs successfully. As a result, migration incurs additional costs. In this paper, joint task offloading and migration schemes in mobility-aware Mobile Edge Computing(MEC) network based on Reinforcement Learning(RL) are proposed to obtain the maximum system revenue. Firstly, the joint optimization problems of maximizing the total revenue of MEs are put forward, in view of the mobility-aware MEs. Secondly, considering time-varying computation tasks and resource conditions, the mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP) problem is described as a Markov Decision Process(MDP). Then we propose a novel reinforcement learning-based optimization framework to work out the problem, instead traditional methods. 8Quadrature-based moment methods for the population balance equation: An algorithm review显示文摘The dispersed phase in multiphase flows can be modeled by the population balance model(PBM). A typical population balance equation(PBE) contains terms for spatial transport, loss/growth and breakage/coalescence source terms. The equation is therefore quite complex and difficult to solve analytically or numerically. The quadrature-based moment methods(QBMMs) are a class of methods that solve the PBE by converting the transport equation of the number density function(NDF) into moment transport equations. The unknown source terms are closed by numerical quadrature. Over the years, many QBMMs have been developed for different problems, such as the quadrature method of moments(QMOM), direct quadrature method of moments(DQMOM),extended quadrature method of moments(EQMOM), conditional quadrature method of moments(CQMOM),extended conditional quadrature method of moments(ECQMOM) and hyperbolic quadrature method of moments(Hy QMOM). In this paper, we present a comprehensive algorithm review of these QBMMs. The mathematical equations for spatially homogeneous systems with first-order point processes and second-order point processes are derived in detail. The algorithms are further extended to the inhomogeneous system for multiphase flows, in which the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) can be coupled with the PBE. The physical limitations and the challenging numerical problems of these QBMMs are discussed. 9Effects of Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction drug serum on gastric antrum smooth muscle cells from rats with functional dyspepsia by regulating gastrointestinal hormones显示文摘Objective:To observe the effect and mechanism of Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction(XSLJZD)drug serum on gastric antrum smooth muscle cells(SMCs)in rats with functional dyspepsia(FD).Methods:Gastric antrum SMCs from rats with FD were isolated,cultured,and then divided into six groups as follows:control,model,domperidone,low-dose XSLJZD(LXSLJZD),medium-dose XSLJZD(MXSLJZD),and high-dose XSLJZD(HXSLJZD).Each group was administered the corresponding drug serum for intervention.Drug serum intervention conditions and proliferative activity of SMCs were tested by cholecystokinin octapeptide.Ghrelin,gastrin,somatostatin,and substance P(SP)levels were measured by ELISA.Somatostatin and SP mRNA expression was measured by real-time PCR.Results:A concentration of 10%drug serum for 24 h was decided to be the best intervention condition for later study.The mean optical density value in the model group was lower than that in the control group(P紏.001).Optical density values in the domperidone and HXSLJZD groups were higher than those in the model group(P?.025,P?.032,respectively).Gastrin,SP,and ghrelin levels in the model group were lower(P?.007,P?.037,P?.005,respectively),but somatostatin levels were higher,compared with those in the control group(P?.031).Gastrin,SP,and ghrelin levels in the domperidone,MXSLJZD,and HXSLJZD groups were higher than those in the model group(all P<.05).Somatostatin levels in the four drug-treated groups were lower than those in the model group(P?.002,P?.007,P?.001,P?.009,respectively).SP mRNA levels in the model group were lower than those in the control,domperidone,MXSLJZD,and HXSLJZD groups(P?.037 P?.016,P?.025,P?.002,respectively).Somatostatin mRNA levels in the model group were higher than those in the control and MXSLJZD groups(P紏.042,P紏.035).Conclusions:XSLJZD and domperidone drug serum effectively promote proliferative activity of gastric antrum SMCs in an FD model.The mechanism of this activity may be regulated by gastrointestinal hormones.Ning Dai Jinghong Hu Yan Liu Dongyu Ge Ruijuan Dong Fengzhi Wu Jiaojiao Yu Mindan Chen Deborah CMa Feng Li 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,1:6
10Quantitative features of myoelectric signals in the orbicularis oculi muscle during different motion states显示文摘Artificial facial nerve prostheses are thought to restore eye-closed function in peripheral facial paralysis patients. At present,however,there is no adequate quantitative or qualitative information regarding myoelectric signal(MES) features for healthy orbicularis oculi muscle(OOM) . The present study analyzed MES features of normal OOM in rabbits during the natural continuous eye-opening(N1) state,natural continuous eye-closing(N2) state,natural blink(N3) state,and evoked eye-closing(E) state according to time domain and frequency domain analysis. Results showed that OOM electrical activities in N1 and N2 states,as well as myoelectric amplitude,were low and stable. Nevertheless,during N3 and E states,OOM electrical activities were significantly increased and amplitude was much higher in the E state than in the N3 state. In the time domain,differences in MES peak absolute potential were not significant between N1 and N2 states. In the frequency domain,differences in power spectral density peak frequency of electromyogram signals were significant between two sets of four OOM movement states. These results suggest that OOM significantly contracts and induces eyelid-closing action. In addition,OOM is diastolic during the N1 state. A N2 state does not require continuous intensive OOM contraction. 12Microelement analysis of source of raw materials of terracotta warriors and horses of Qin's Mausoleum in pits No.1 and No.2显示文摘In order to search for sources of the raw material of the Qin’s terracotta warriors and horses, we selected 20 samples of pottery warriors and pottery horses of the Qin’s Mausoleum from pit No. 1,19 samples of pottery warriors and brick from pit No. 2, 20 samples of clays near the Qin’s Mausoleum and 2 samples of Yaozhou porcelain bodies. The 32 kinds of element content of each sample were measured by neutron activation analysis (NAA). These data were analyzed by fuzzy cluster analysis, the trend cluster analysis diagram was obtained. The results showed that samples of terracotta warriors and horses from pits No.1 and No. 2 were closely related to the loam layer near Qin’s Mausoleum, but their relations with the loess layers were not so close, and they were out of all relation to Yaozhou porcelain bodies. 13Affine formation maneuver tracking control of multiple second-order agents with time-varying delays显示文摘This paper considers an affine maneuver tracking control problem for leader-follower type second-order multi-agent systems in the presence of time-varying delays, where the interaction topology is directed. Using the property of the affine transformation,this paper gives the sufficient and necessary conditions of achieving the affine localizability and extends it to the second-order condition. Under the(n + 1)-reachable condition of the given n-dimensional nominal formation with n + 1 leaders, a formation of agents can be reshaped in arbitrary dimension by only controlling these leaders. When the neighboring positions and velocities are available, a formation maneuver tracking control protocol with time-varying delays is constructed with the form of linear systems, where the tracking errors of the followers can be specified. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theory, sufficient conditions to realize affine maneuvers are proposed and proved, and the unknown control gain matrix can be solved only by four linear matrix inequalities independent of the number of agents. 14Pre-Archaeopteryx coelurosaurian dinosaurs and their implications for understanding avian origins显示文摘The last two decades have witnessed great advances in reconstructing the transition from non-avian theropods to avians,but views in opposition to the theropod hypothesis still exist.Here we highlight one issue that is often considered to raise problems for the theropod hypothesis of avian origins,i.e.the 'temporal paradox' in the stratigraphic distribution of theropod fossils - the idea that the earliest known avian is from the Late Jurassic but most other coelurosaurian groups are poorly known in the Jurassic,implying that avians arose before their supposed ancestors.However,a number of Jurassic nonavian coelurosaurian theropods have recently been discovered,thus documenting the presence of most of the major coelurosaurian groups in the Jurassic alongside,or prior to,avians.These discoveries have greatly improved the congruence between stratigraphy and phylogeny for derived theropods and,effectively,they reject the 'temporal paradox' concept.Most importantly,these discoveries provide significant new information that supports the relatively basal positions of the Tyrannosauroidea and Alvarezsauroidea among the Coeluro-sauria.Indeed,they imply a new phylogenetic hypothesis for the interrelationships of Paraves,in which Archaeopteryx,the Dromaeosauridae,and the Troodontidae form a monophyletic group while the Scansoriopterygidae,other basal birds,and probably also the Oviraptorosauria,form another clade.Mapping some of the salient features onto a temporally-calibrated theropod phy-logeny indicates that characteristics related to flight and arboreality evolved at the base of the Paraves,earlier than the Late Jurassic.XU Xing MA QingYu HU DongYu 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,35:5
15Stabilizing effects of atomic Ti doping on high-voltage high-nickel layered oxide cathode for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries显示文摘High-voltage high-nickel lithium layered oxide cathodes show great application prospects to meet the ever-increasing demand for further improvement of the energy density of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)mainly due to their high output capacity.However,severe bulk structural degradation and undesired electrode-electrolyte interface reactions seriously endanger the cycle life and safety of the battery.Here,2 mol%Ti atom is used as modified material doping into LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2O2)(NCM)to reform LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.18)Ti_(0.02)O_(2)(NCM-Ti)and address the long-standing inherent problem.At a high cut-off voltage of 4.5 V,NCM-Ti delivers a higher capacity retention ratio(91.8%vs.82.9%)after 150 cycles and a superior rate capacity(118 vs.105 mAh·g^(-1))at the high current density of 10 C than the pristine NCM.The designed high-voltage full battery with graphite as anode and NCM-Ti as cathode also exhibits high energy density(240 Wh·kg^(-1))and excellent electrochemical performance.The superior electrochemical behavior can be attributed to the improved stability of the bulk structure and the electrode-electrolyte interface owing to the strong Ti-O bond and no unpaired electrons.The in-situ X-ray diffraction analysis demonstrates that Ti-doping inhibits the undesired H2-H3 phase transition,minimizing the mechanical degradation.The ex-situ TEM and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveal that Ti-doping suppresses the release of interfacial oxygen,reducing undesired interfacial reactions.This work provides a valuable strategic guideline for the application of high-voltage high-nickel cathodes in LIBs.Yong Cheng Yan Sun Changting Chu Limin Chang Zhaomin Wang Dongyu Zhang Wanqiang Liu Zechao Zhuang Limin Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:5

18Transplantation of human limbal cells cultivated on amniotic membrane for reconstruction of rat corneal epithelium after alkaline burn显示文摘Background The transplantation of limbal epithelial cells cultivated on amniotic membrane is a newly developed treatment for limbal stem cell deficiency. The purpose of our study was to investigate the biological characteristics of limbal epithelial cells and evaluate the effect of transplantation of cultivated human limbal epithelial cells on ocular surface reconstruction in limbal stem cell deficiency rat model. Methods Human limbal cells were isolated and cultivated in vitro. Cytokertins 3, 12, and 19 (K3, K12 and K19) and p63 were detected by immunofluorescent staining or RT-PCR. BrdU labelling test was used to identify the slow cycling cells in the cultures. Limbal stem cell deficiency was established in rat cornea by alkali burn. Two weeks after injury, the rats received transplants of human limbal stem cells cultivated on amniotic membrane carrier. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by slit lamp observation, Hemotoxin and Eosin (HE) staining and immunofluorescent staining.Results On day 7 in primary culture, p63 and K19 were strongly expressed by most cells but only a few cells expressed K3. On days 14 and 21, p63 and K19 were still expressed by a majority of cells, but the expressive intensity of p63 decreased in a number of cells, while the proportion of K3 positive cells increased slightly and some cells coexpressed p63 and K3. RT-PCR showed that gene expression of both p63 and K12 were positive in cultivated limbal cells, but in mature superficial epithelial cells, only K12 was detected. BrdU labelling test showed that most cells were labelled with BrdU after 7 days’ labelling and BrdU label retaining cells were observed after chasing for 21 days with BrdU free medium. For in vivo test, slit lamp observation, HE staining and immunofluorescent staining showed that the rats receiving transplant of human limbal stem cells cultivated on amniotic membrane grew reconstructed corneas with intact epithelium, improved transparency and slight or no neovascularization. A majority of epithelial cells of the reconstructed cornea were positive to antihuman nuclear antibody and cells expressing K3 were found mainly in superfacial epithelium.Conclusions Limbal stem cells can be cultivated in vitro: the cells are characterized by high proliferation and slow cycling and identified as p63/K19 positive and K3/K12 negative. During culture, some stem cells can proliferate and differentiate into mature cornea epithelial cells. Amniotic membrane is a suitable carrier for limbal stem cells. Owing to their promising characteristics, AIEgen-basednanoparticles have recently been used for the stimulated emission depletion(STED) super-resolution imaging of fixed cells. In the present study, and for thefirst time, we used an AIEgen for dynamic STED nanoscopic imaging of a specificorganelle in live cancer cells. TPA-T-CyP is a synthetic red&NIR-emittingluminogen with AIE features that can spontaneously and specifically aggregateon mitochondria without the need for encapsulation or surface modification.The STED efficiency of aggregated TPA-T-CyP can reach more than 80%, andsuper-resolution imaging of TPA-T-CyP-stained mitochondria in live HeLa cellsis possible, with a lateral spatial resolution of 74 nm. 20Investigation of droplet breakup in liquid–liquid dispersions by CFD–PBM simulations:The influence of the surfactant type显示文摘The accurate prediction of the droplet size distribution(DSD)in liquid–liquid turbulent dispersions is of fundamental importance in many industrial applications and it requires suitable kernels in the population balance model.When a surfactant is included in liquid–liquid dispersions,the droplet breakup behavior will change as an effect of the reduction of the interfacial tension.Moreover,also the dynamic interfacial tension may be different with respect to the static,due to the fact that the surfactant may be easily desorbed from the droplet surface,generating additional disruptive stresses.In this work,the performance of five breakup kernels from the literature is assessed,to investigate their ability to predict the time evolution of the DSD and of the mean Sauter diameter,when different surfactants are employed.Simulations are performed with the Quadrature Method of Moments for the solution of the population balance model coupled with the two-fluid model implemented in the compressible Two Phase Euler Foam solver of the open-source computational fluid dynamics(CFD)code Open FOAM v.2.2.x.The time evolution of the mean Sauter diameter predicted by these kernels is validated against experimental data for six test cases referring to a stirred tank with different types of surfactants(Tween 20 and PVA 88%)at different concentrations operating under different stirrer rates.Our results show that for the dispersion containing Tween 20 additional stress is generated,the multifractal breakup kernel properly predicts the DSD evolution,whereas two other kernels predict too fast breakup of droplets covered by adsorbed PVA.Kernels derived originally for bubbles completely fail.Dongyue Li Antonio Buffo Wioletta Podgórska Daniele L.Marchisio Zhengming Gao 2017Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2017,25,10:4
