1Carbon Monoxide Signal Breaks Primary Seed Dormancy by Transcriptional Silence of DOG1 in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Primary seed dormancy is an adaptive strategy that prevents germination for viable seeds in harsh environment,ensuring seeds germination under favorable condition.Accurately inducing seeds germination in a controllable manner is important for crop production.Thus searching the chemicals that efficiently breaks seed dormancy is valuable.DOG1 protein abundance in the freshly harvested seed is high,and its level is correlated to seed dormancy intensity,thus DOG1 is regarded as the timer to evaluate the seed dormancy degree.In this study,we found the carbon monoxide(CO)donor treatment,the transgenic line with high CO content,showed lower seed dormancy,while scavenging CO,or the mutant with lower CO level,presented strong primary seed dormancy,genetic analysis showed that DOG1 was targeted by CO signal and was prerequisite for CO-dependent seed dormancy release.Furthermore,we found CO signal activated the expression of ERF/AP2 transcriptional factor ERF12,as well as enhanced the binding of ERF12 to the promoter of DOG1,ultimately transcriptional silence of DOG1 expression to break primary seed dormancy.Meanwhile CO signal reduced the histone acetylation level at the chromatin of DOG1 locus to suppress its expression.Together,our results revealed that CO acts as the novel regulator to suppress DOG1 expression and efficiently break primary seed dormancy through activating the negative factor ERF12.Danni He Guoli Deng Songpei Ying Wenjuan Yang Jiali Wei Ping Li 2020Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,3:1
2Achieving integrated capture and reduction of CO_(2):A promising electrocatalyst显示文摘To realize the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality,CO_(2) capture and utilization technology is becoming increasingly urgent.However,the low efficiency and complex processes limit its large-scale application.Among utilization technology of CO_(2),electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)has attracted interest,attributing to the use of clean energy and the final product of value-added fuels.The construction of catalysts with integrated CO_(2) capture and reduction ability is expected to bridge the gap between CO_(2) capture and conversion,achieving the direct utilization of flue gas,reducing costs,and simplifying devices.Keeping` this in mind,we give this review to introduce the problems of lowconcentration CO_(2)RR and the significance of coupled CO_(2) capture/conversion electrocatalysts in addressing the emission of industrial flue gas first.Then,the regulation strategies,including functional group modification,co-catalytic effect,and catalysts-impurities interaction,which affected the CO_(2) capture and electroreduction capacity towards catalysts were summarized and discussed.Finally,the challenges and perspectives about the design for linked CO_(2) capture/conversion processes were proposed.This review will provide new insight into the building of multifunctional catalysts for CO_(2) conversion.Mengjie Liu Longsheng Zhan Yuchao Wang Xin Zhao Jiao Wu Danni Deng Jiabi Jiang Xinran Zheng Yongpeng Lei 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,34:0
