| 1 | Stability improvement under high efficiency—next stage development of perovskite solar cells显示文摘With efficiency of perovskite solar cells(PSCs) overpassing 23%, to realize their commercialization, the biggest challenge now is to boost the stability to the same level as conventional solar cells. Thus, tremendous effort has been directed over the past few years toward improving the stability of these cells. Various methods were used to improve the stability of bulk perovskites,including compositional engineering, interface adjustment, dimensional manipulation, crystal engineering, and grain boundary decoration. Diverse device configurations, carrier transporting layers, and counter electrodes are investigated. To compare the stability of PSCs and clarify the degradation mechanism, diverse characterization methods were developed. Overall stability of PSCs has become one central topic for the development of PSCs. | 4 | 3D uniform nitrogen-doped carbon skeleton for ultra-stable sodium metal anode显示文摘Sodium metal batteries are arousing extensive interest owing to their high energy density,low cost and wide resource.However,the practical development of sodium metal batteries is inherently plagued by the severe volume expansion and the dendrite growth of sodium metal anode during long cycles under high current density.Herein,a simple electrospinning method is applied to construct the uniformly nitrogen-doped porous carbon fiber skeleton and used as three-dimensional(3D)current collector for sodium metal anode,which has high specific surface area(1,098 m^2/g)and strong binding to sodium metal.As a result,nitrogen-doped carbon fiber current collector shows a low sodium deposition overpotential and a highly stable cyclability for 3,500 h with a high coulombic effciency of 99.9%at 2 mA/cm^2 and 2 mAh/cm^2.Moreover,the full cells using carbon coated sodium vanadium phosphate as cathode and sodium pre-plated nitrogen-doped carbon fiber skeleton as hybrid anode can stably cycle for 300 times.These results illustrate an effective strategy to construct a 3D uniformly nitrogen-doped carbon skeleton based sodium metal hybrid anode without the formation of dendrites,which provide a prospect for further development and research of high performance sodium metal batteries. | Ben Liu Danni Lei Jin Wang Qingfei Zhang Yinggan Zhang Wei He Hongfei Zheng Baisheng Sa Qingshui Xie Dong-Liang Peng Baihua Qu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,8: | 3 |
| 5 | In-situ polymerized cross-linked binder for cathode in lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Volume expansion and polysulfide shuttle effect are the main barriers for the commercialization of lithium-sulfur(Li-S) battery.In this work,we in-situ polymerized a cross-linked binder in sulfur cathode to solve the aforementioned problems using a facile method under mild conditions.Polycarbonate diol(PCDL),triethanolamine(TEA) and hexamethylene diisocyanate(HDI) were chosen as precursors to prepare the cross-linked binder.The in-situ polymerized binder(PTH) builds a strong network in sulfur cathode,which could restrain the volume expansion of sulfu r.Moreover,by adopting functional groups of oxygen atoms and nitrogen atoms,the binder could effectively facilitate transportation of Li-ion and adsorb polysulfide chemically.The Li-S battery with bare sulfur and carbon/sulfur composite cathodes and cross-linked PTH binder displays much better electrochemical performance than that of the battery with PVDF.The PTH-bare S cathode with a mass loading of 5.97 mg/cm^2 could deliver a capacity of 733.3 mAh/g at 0.2 C,and remained 585.5 mAh/g after 100 cycles.This in-situ polymerized binder is proved to be quite effective on restraining the volume expansion and suppressing polysulfide shuttle effect,then improving the electrochemical performance of Li-S battery. | Heng Ye Danni Lei Lu Shen Bin Ni Baohua Li Feiyu Kang Yan-Bing He | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,2: | 2 |
| 6 | Comparison of gut microbiota in autism spectrum disorders and neurotypical boys in China:A case-control study显示文摘Background:Autism spectrum disorders(ASDs)are a set of complex neurobiological disorders.Growing evidence has shown that the microbiota that resides in the gut can modulate brain development via the gut–brain axis.However,direct clinical evidence of the role of the microbiota–gut–brain axis in ASD is relatively limited.Methods:A case-control study of 71 boys with ASD and 18 neurotypical controls was conducted at China-Japan Friendship Hospital.Demographic information and fecal samples were collected,and the gut microbiome was evaluated and compared by 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing and metagenomic sequencing.Results:A higher abundance of operational taxonomic units(OTUs)based on fecal bacterial profiling was observed in the ASD group.Significantly different microbiome profiles were observed between the two groups.At the genus level,we observed a decrease in the relative abundance of Escherichia,Shigella,Veillonella,Akkermansia,Provindencia,Dialister,Bifidobacterium,Streptococcus,Ruminococcaceae UCG_002,Megasphaera,Eubacterium_coprostanol,Citrobacter,Ruminiclostridium_5,and Ruminiclostridium_6 in the ASD cohort,while Eisenbergiella,Klebsiella,Faecalibacterium,and Blautia were significantly increased.Ten bacterial strains were selected for clinical discrimination between those with ASD and the neurotypical controls.The highest AUC value of the model was 0.947.Conclusion:Significant differences were observed in the composition of the gut microbiome between boys with ASD and neurotypical controls.These findings contribute to the knowledge of the alteration of the gut microbiome in ASD patients,which opens the possibility for early identification of this disease. | Fang Ye Xinying Gao Zhiyi Wang Shuman Cao Guangcai Liang Danni He Zhitang Lv Liming Wang Pengfei Xu Qi Zhang | 2021 | Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2021,6,2: | 2 |
| 7 | An ultrathin and continuous Li_4Ti_5O_(12) coated carbon nanofiber interlayer for high rate lithium sulfur battery显示文摘Severe capacity fading and poor high rate performance of lithium sulfur(Li–S) battery caused by 'shuttle effect' and low conductivity of sulfur hampers its further developments and applications. Li_4Ti_5O_(12) (LTO)possesses high lithium ion conductivity, and it is also can be used as an active adsorbent for polysulfide. Herein, fine LTO particle coated carbon nanofibers(CNF) were prepared and a conductive network both for electron and lithium ion was built, which can greatly promote the electrochemical conversion of polysulfide and improve the rate performance of Li–S batteries. Meanwhile, a quantity of adsorption sites is constructed by defects of the surface of LTO-CNF membrane to effectively immobilize polysulfide. The multifunctional LTO-CNF interlayer could impede the shuttle effect and enhance comprehensive electrochemical performance of Li–S batteries, especially high rate performance. With such LTO-CNF interlayer,the Li–S battery presents a specific capacity of 641.9 mAh/g at 5 C rate. After 400 cycles at 1 C, a capacity of 618.0 mAh/g is retained. | 12 | Carbon Monoxide Signal Breaks Primary Seed Dormancy by Transcriptional Silence of DOG1 in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Primary seed dormancy is an adaptive strategy that prevents germination for viable seeds in harsh environment,ensuring seeds germination under favorable condition.Accurately inducing seeds germination in a controllable manner is important for crop production.Thus searching the chemicals that efficiently breaks seed dormancy is valuable.DOG1 protein abundance in the freshly harvested seed is high,and its level is correlated to seed dormancy intensity,thus DOG1 is regarded as the timer to evaluate the seed dormancy degree.In this study,we found the carbon monoxide(CO)donor treatment,the transgenic line with high CO content,showed lower seed dormancy,while scavenging CO,or the mutant with lower CO level,presented strong primary seed dormancy,genetic analysis showed that DOG1 was targeted by CO signal and was prerequisite for CO-dependent seed dormancy release.Furthermore,we found CO signal activated the expression of ERF/AP2 transcriptional factor ERF12,as well as enhanced the binding of ERF12 to the promoter of DOG1,ultimately transcriptional silence of DOG1 expression to break primary seed dormancy.Meanwhile CO signal reduced the histone acetylation level at the chromatin of DOG1 locus to suppress its expression.Together,our results revealed that CO acts as the novel regulator to suppress DOG1 expression and efficiently break primary seed dormancy through activating the negative factor ERF12. | Danni He Guoli Deng Songpei Ying Wenjuan Yang Jiali Wei Ping Li | 2020 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,3: | 1 |

| 17 | DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTOMATIC WEIGHING PLATFORM FOR MONITORING BODYWEIGHT OF BROILER CHICKENS IN COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION显示文摘Bodyweight is a key indicator of broiler production as it measures the production efficiency and indicates the health of a flock.Currently,broiler weight(i.e.,bodyweight)is primarily weighed manually,which is timeconsuming and labor-intensive,and tends to create stress in birds.This study aimed to develop an automatic and stress-free weighing platform for monitoring the weight of floor-reared broiler chickens in commercial production.The developed system consists of a weighing platform,a real-time communication terminal,computer software and a smart phone applet userinterface.The system collected weight data of chickens on the weighing platform at intervals of 6 s,followed by filtering of outliers and repeating readings.The performance and stability of this system was systematically evaluated under commercial production conditions.With the adoption of data preprocessing protocol,the average error of the new automatic weighing system was only 10.3 g,with an average accuracy 99.5%with the standard deviation of 2.3%.Further regression analysis showed a strong agreement between estimated weight and the standard weight obtained by the established live-bird sales system.The variance(an indicator of flock uniformity)of broiler weight estimated using automatic weighing platforms was in accordance with the standard weight.The weighing system demonstrated superior stability for different growth stages,rearing seasons,growth rate types(medium-and slow-growing chickens)and sexes.The system is applicable for daily weight monitoring in floor-reared broiler houses to improve feeding management,growth monitoring and finishing day prediction.Its application in commercial farms would improve the sustainability of poultry industry. | Danni ZHOU Yi ZHOU Pengguang HE Lin YU Jinming PAN Lilong CHAI Hongjian LIN | 2023 | Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2023,10,3: | 0 |

| 20 | Sustained release of magnesium and zinc ions synergistically accelerates wound healing显示文摘Skin wounds are a major medical challenge that threaten human health.Functional hydrogel dressings demonstrate great potential to promote wound healing.In this study,magnesium(Mg)and zinc(Zn)are introduced into methacrylate gelatin(GelMA)hydrogel via low-temperature magnetic stirring and photocuring,and their effects on skin wounds and the underlying mechanisms are investigated.Degradation testing confirmed that the GelMA/Mg/Zn hydrogel released magnesium ions(Mg^(2+))and zinc ions(Zn^(2+))in a sustained manner.The Mg^(2+) and Zn^(2+)not only enhanced the migration of human skin fibroblasts(HSFs)and human immortalized keratinocytes(HaCats),but also promoted the transformation of HSFs into myofibroblasts and accelerated the production and remodeling of extracellular matrix.Moreover,the GelMA/Mg/Zn hydrogel enhanced the healing of full-thickness skin defects in rats via accelerated collagen deposition,angiogenesis and skin wound re-epithelialization.We also identified the mechanisms through which GelMA/Mg/Zn hydrogel promoted wound healing:the Mg^(2+) promoted Zn^(2+)entry into HSFs and increased the concentration of Zn^(2+)in HSFs,which effectively induced HSFs to differentiate into myofibroblasts by activating the STAT3 signaling pathway.The synergistic effect of Mg^(2+) and Zn^(2+)promoted wound healing.In conclusion,our study provides a promising strategy for skin wounds regeneration. | Fan Yang Yijia Xue Feilong Wang Danni Guo Yunjiao He Xiao Zhao Fanyu Yan Yuqian Xu Dandan Xia Yunsong Liu | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,8: | 0 |
