1Dynamic Calibration of the Cutting Temperature Sensor of NiCr/NiSi Thin-film Thermocouple显示文摘In high-speed cutting, natural thermocouple, artificial thermocouple and infrared radiation temperature measurement are usually adopted for measuring cutting temperature, but these methods have difficulty in measuring transient temperature accurately of cutting area on account of low response speed and limited cutting condition. In this paper, NiCr/NiSi thin-film thermocouples(TFTCs) are fabricated according to temperature characteristic of cutting area in high-speed cutting by means of advanced twinned microwave electro cyclotron resonance(MW-ECR) plasma source enhanced radio frequency(RF) reaction non-balance magnetron sputtering technique, and can be used for transient cutting temperature measurement. The time constants of the TFTCs with different thermo-junction film width are measured at four kinds of sampling frequency by using Ultra-CFR short pulsed laser system that established. One-dimensional unsteady heat conduction model is constructed and the dynamic performance is analyzed theoretically. It can be seen from the analysis results that the NiCr/NiSi TFTCs are suitable for measuring transient temperature which varies quickly, the response speed of TFTCs can be obviously improved by reducing the thickness of thin-film, and the area of thermo-junction has little influence on dynamic response time. The dynamic calibration experiments are made on the constructed dynamic calibration system, and the experimental results confirm that sampling frequency should be larger than 50 kHz in dynamic measurement for stable response time, and the shortest response time is 0.042 ms. 2Division of Matrix- and Fracture-Type Shale Oils in the Jiyang Depression and Their Differences显示文摘This study discussed the division of matrix- and fracture-type shale oils in the Jiyang Depression, and proposed the concept of fracture development coefficient. The fracture development coefficient is defined as the ratio of fault throw to the distance between a shale oil well and the nearest fault. Based on CO_2 content, state of water, oil production and logging response of shale oil formations, the classification of shale oils was established, i.e., a fracture-type shale oil well has a fracture development coefficient greater than 0.2, while a matrix-type one has a fracture development coefficient less than 0.2. Furthermore, the key control factors of matrix- and fracture-type shale oil enrichment were analyzed using typical anatomical and statistical methods. For matrix-type shale oil enrichment, these factors are lithofacies, total organic carbon(TOC), shale porosity and abnormal pressure; for fracture-type shale oil enrichment, they are lithofacies, extent of fracture development, and abnormal pressure. This study also first described the differences between matrix- and fracture-type shale oils. 5Reliability Simulation and Design Optimization for Mechanical Maintenance显示文摘Reliability model of a mechanical product system will be newly reconstructed and maintenance cost will increase because failed parts can be replaced with new components during service,which should be accounted for in system design. In this paper,a reliability model and reliability-based design optimization methodology for maintenance are presented. First,based on the time-to-failure density function of the part of the system,the age distributions of all parts of the system during service are investigated,a reliability model of the mechanical system for maintenance is developed. Then,reliability simulations of the systems with Weibull probability density functions are performed,the system minimum reliability and steady reliability for maintenance are defined based on reliability simulation during the life cycle of the system. Thirdly,a maintenance cost model is developed based on replacement rates of the parts,a reliability-based design optimization model for maintenance is presented,in which total life cycle cost is considered as design objective and system reliability as design constrain. 7Experimental and numerical investigation of the influence of roughness and turbulence on LUT airfoil performance显示文摘Vertical-axis wind turbines(VAWTs)have been widely used in urban environments,which contain dust and experience strong turbulence.However,airfoils for VAWTs in urban environments have received considerably less research attention than those for horizontal-axis wind turbines(HAWTs).In this study,the sensitivity of a new VAWT airfoil developed at the Lanzhou University of Technology(LUT)to roughness was investigated via a wind tunnel experiment.The results show that the LUT airfoil is less sensitive to roughness at a roughness height of<0.35 mm.Moreover,the drag bucket of the LUT airfoil decreases with increasing roughness height.Furthermore,the loads on the LUT airfoil during dynamic stall were studied at different turbulence intensities using a numerical method at a tip-speed ratio of 2.Before the stall,the turbulence intensity did not considerably affect the normal or tangential force coefficients of the LUT airfoil.However,after the stall,the normal force coefficient varied obviously at low turbulence intensity.Moreover,as the turbulence intensity increased,the normal and tangential force coefficients decreased rapidly,particularly in the downwind region of the VAWT.Shoutu Li Ye Li Congxin Yang Xiaobo Zheng Qing Wang Yin Wang Deshun Li Wenrui Hu 2019Acta Mechanica Sinica2019,35,6:3
8The Conservation Status and Conservation Strategy of Picea neoveitchii显示文摘Picea neoveitchii is an endemic species in China. It had been listed as an endangered species in red data books. It scatters in several locations of south slope of the Qinling Mountain of China. Upon reviewing the related literature, discussing with leading scholars on gymnosperm, ecology and plant conservation, the field survey was carried out in four locations. There are eleven mature individuals and two seedlings surviving in its natural habitats. With the survey of quadrat method in four locations, related community index were calculated such as relative important value (RIV), species richness, similarity index, diversity index and evenness index etc. The community could be sorted and characterized as three groups based on the community parameters. The analysis of vegetation table elucidates that Picea neoveitchii is a dominant species with low grouping rate in most surveyed sites. The RAPD analysis shows target species has intraspecific genetic variability. The estimation of Shannon’s phenotypic diversity index (Ho) also explains the difference of genetic variations of different locations. Due to the lack of enough knowledge and professional guide of conservation biological perspective, Picea neoveitchii had been clear-cut for timber production. The extent of occurrence and area of occupancy declined rapidly from 1950s to 1990s. According to the Conservation Category guideline proposed by the World Conservation Union, the conservation status of Picea neoveitchii was reevaluated as Critically Endangered (CR) B2b C2a D. 10Recent improvements of actuator line-large-eddy simulation method for wind turbine wakes显示文摘In a large wind farm,the wakes of upstream and downstream wind turbines can interfere with each other,affecting the overall power output of the wind farm.To further improve the numerical accuracy of the turbine wake dynamics under atmosphere turbulence,this work proposes some improvements to the actuator line-large-eddy simulation(AL-LES)method.Based on the dynamic k-equation large-eddy simulation(LES),this method uses a precursor method to generate atmospheric inflow turbulence,models the tower and nacelle wakes,and improves the body force projection method based on an anisotropic Gaussian distribution function.For these three improvements,three wind tunnel experiments are used to validate the numerical accuracy of this method.The results show that the numerical results calculated in the far-wake region can reflect the characteristics of typical onshore and offshore wind conditions compared with the experimental results.After modeling the tower and nacelle wakes,the wake velocity distribution is consistent with the experimental result.The radial migration velocity of the tip vortex calculated by the improved blade body force distribution model is 0.32 m/s,which is about 6%different from the experimental value and improves the prediction accuracy of the tip vortex radial movement.The method proposed in this paper is very helpful for wind turbine wake dynamic analysis and wind farm power prediction.Zhiteng GAO Ye LI Tongguang WANG Shitang KE Deshun LI 2021Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2021,42,4:2
11A nonlinear model for aerodynamic configuration of wake behind horizontal-axis wind turbine显示文摘Determination of the aerodynamic configuration of wake is the key to analysis and evaluation of the rotor aerodynamic characteristics of a horizontal-axis wind turbine. According to the aerodynamic configuration, the real magnitude and direction of the onflow velocity at the rotor blade can be determined, and subsequently, the aerodynamic force on the rotor can be determined. The commonly employed wake aerodynamic models are of the cylindrical form instead of the actual expanding one. This is because the influence of the radial component of the induced velocity on the wake configuration is neglected. Therefore, this model should be called a 'linear model'. Using this model means that the induced velocities at the rotor blades and aerodynamic loads on them would be inexact. An approximately accurate approach is proposed in this paper to determine the so-called 'nonlinear' wake aerodynamic configuration by means of the potential theory, where the influence of all three coordinate components of the induced velocity on wake aerodynamic configuration is taken into account to obtain a kind of expanding wake that approximately looks like an actual one. First, the rotor aerodynamic model composed of axial (central), bound, and trailing vortexes is established with the help of the finite aspect wing theory. Then, the Biot-Savart formula for the potential flow theory is used to derive a set of integral equations to evaluate the three components of the induced velocity at any point within the wake. The numerical solution to the integral equations is found, and the loci of all elementary trailing vortex filaments behind the rotor are determined thereafter. Finally, to formulate an actual wind turbine rotor, using the nonlinear wake model, the induced velocity everywhere in the wake, especially that at the rotor blade, is obtained in the case of various tip speed ratios and compared with the wake boundary in a neutral atmospheric boundary layer. 18Expression Pattern and Target Gene of bbu-miR-103-1 in Buffalo(Bubalus bubalis) at Lactation and Non-lactation Periods显示文摘[Objective] The paper aimed to investigate the expression pattern of bbu-miR-103-1 in buffalo( Bubalus bubalis) at lactation and non-lactation periods,and to predict its target gene and function. [Method]Expression pattern of bbu-miR-103-1 at lactation and non-lactation periods were detected by qRT-PCR.The precursor expression plasmid of bbu-miR-103-1 was constructed and named LpEZX-pre-miR-103-1. It was packaged and propagated to produce high-titer lentivirus in 293 T cell lines,which could be used to infect buffalo mammary epithelial cells( BMECs) and over express bbu-miR-103-1. The inhibitor of bbu-miR-103-1 was chemically synthesized and transfected into BMECs to suppress bbu-miR-103-1 at the same time. The relative expression of pantothenate kinase 3( PANK3) and milk fat metabolism related genes were detected by qRT-PCR. [Result]The relative expression of bbu-miR-103-1 at lactation period was 5. 29 times higher than that at non-lactation period in buffalo( P < 0. 01). The LpEZX-pre-miR-103-1 had been successfully constructed and packaged with the infection titer of 3. 47 × 10~6 PFU/m L. Overexpress or suppress of bbu-miR-103-1 extremely down-regulated or up-regulated the expression level of PANK3 in BMECs( P < 0. 01).Over expression of bbu-miR-103-1 extremely enhanced the expression of Acetyl-CoA carboxylase alpha( ACACA),Glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase 1 mitochondrial( GPAM),Diacylglycerol Oacyltransferase 1( DGAT1) and Pyruvate dehydrogenase lipoamide kinase isozyme 4( PDK4)( P < 0. 01),and also significantly up-regulated the expression of sterol regulatory element binding protein-1c( SREBP1c),Adipose differentiation-related protein( ADFP),Cluster of differentiation36( CD36),Acetyl-Co A synthetase short-chain subfamily member 1( ACSS1)( P < 0. 05). 20Effects of the particle Stokes number on wind turbine airfoil erosion显示文摘Under natural conditions, wind turbines are inevitably eroded by the action of sand-wind flow. To further investigate the effects of dust drift on the erosion of the wind turbine blades in sand-wind environments, the effects of the wind velocity, particle diameter, and particle density on the erosion of wind turbine airfoils are studied, and the effects of the particle Stokes number on the airfoil erosion are discussed. The results show that, when the angle of attack(AOA) is 6.1°, there will be no erosion on the airfoil surface if the particle Stokes number is lower than 0.013 5, whereas erosion will occur if the particle Stokes number is higher than 0.015 1. Therefore, there exists a critical range for the particle Stokes number. When the particle Stokes number is higher than the maximum value in the critical range, airfoil erosion will occur. The result is further confirmed by changing the particle diameter, particle density, and inflow speed. It is shown that the erosion area on the airfoil and the maximum erosion rate are almost equal under the same particle Stokes number and AOA. The extent of airfoil erosion increases when the particle Stokes number increases, and the critical particle Stokes number increases when the AOA increases.
