1An Analytical Method for Calculating the Shielding Effectiveness of an Enclosure with an Oblique Rectangular Aperture显示文摘An efficient analytical method is proposed to calculate the Shielding effectiveness(SE)of an enclosure with an oblique rectangular aperture.This enclosure was first decomposed into two ones with horizontal rectangular apertures through mirror image and Green function theories.The SE of each decomposed enclosure was calculated by the Robinson’s method.The relationship between the SE of the original cavity and those of the decomposed ones was also derived analytically.The SE of the original cavity could be directly obtained from this analytical relationship.The accuracy of the proposed method was validated with measurements and the Transmission line matrix(TLM)solver.The results show that the efficiency was largely improved compared with the TLM solver.SU Donglin LIU Hongyi YANG Shunchuan ZHAO Zihua SUI Donghai 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,4:5
2Loss of Lkb1 impairs Treg function and stability to aggravate graft-versus-host disease after bone marrow transplantation显示文摘Accumulating evidence suggests that a reduction in the number of Foxp3^(+) regulatory T cells(Tregs)contributes to the pathogenesis of acute graft-versus-host disease(aGVHD),which is a major adverse complication that can occur after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT).However,the precise features and mechanism underlying the defects in Tregs remain largely unknown.In this study,we demonstrated that Tregs were more dramatically decreased in bone marrow compared with those in peripheral blood from aGVHD patients and that bone marrow Treg defects were negatively associated with hematopoietic reconstitution.Tregs from aGVHD patients exhibited multiple defects,including the instability of Foxp3 expression,especially in response to IL-12,impaired suppressor function,decreased migratory capacity,and increased apoptosis.Transcriptional profiling revealed the downregulation of Lkb1,a previously identified critical regulator of murine Treg identity and metabolism,and murine Lkb1-regulated genes in Tregs from aGVHD patients.Foxp3 expression in human Tregs could be decreased and increased by the knockdown and overexpression of the Lkb1 gene,respectively.Furthermore,a loss-of-function assay in an aGVHD murine model confirmed that Lkb1 deficiency could impair Tregs and aggravate disease severity.These findings reveal that Lkb1 downregulation contributes to multiple defects in Tregs in human aGVHD and highlight the Lkb1-related pathways that could serve as therapeutic targets that may potentially be manipulated to mitigate aGVHD.Xiuhua Su Qianqian Wang Wei Guo Xiaolei Pei Qing Niu Maolan Liu Yuanyuan Liu Song Chen Sizhou Feng Yi He Donglin Yang Rongli Zhang Qiaoling Ma Weihua Zhai Aiming Pang Jialin Wei Yong Huang Yuechen Luo Mingzhe Han Xiaoming Feng Erlie Jiang 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,5:3
3A SIZE-REDUCED LOG PERIODIC DIPOLE ANTENNA显示文摘A rectangle capacity patch was adopted as the resonance unit of the Log Periodic Dipole Antenna (LPDA) so as to realize the miniaturization of this aerial in this paper. Fifteen rectangle capacity patch units of different parameters were analyzed in this paper and three design laws of size-reduction were found. Accord-ing to these design laws, a 70% miniaturization ratio LPDA was designed and fabricated. The Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) and pattern of the fabricated LPDA were measured. 8Adaptive Maxwell’s Equations Derived Optimization and Its Application in Antenna Array Synthesis显示文摘In this paper,a self-adaptive method for the Maxwell’s Equations Derived Optimization(MEDO)is proposed.It is implemented by applying the Sequential Model-Based Optimization(SMBO)algorithm to the iterations of the MEDO,and achieves the automatic adjustment of the parameters.The proposed method is named as adaptive Maxwell’s equations derived optimization(AMEDO).In order to evaluate the performance of AMEDO,eight benchmarks are used and the results are compared with the original MEDO method.The results show that AMEDO can greatly reduce the workload of manual adjustment of parameters,and at the same time can keep the accuracy and stability.Moreover,the convergence of the optimization can be accelerated due to the dynamical adjustment of the parameters.In the end,the proposed AMEDO is applied to the side lobe level suppression and array failure correction of a linear antenna array,and shows great potential in antenna array synthesis.Donglin Su Lilin Li Shunchuan Yang Fei Wang 2021China Communications2021,18,5:1

10A new optimization algorithm applied in electromagnetics——Maxwell’s equations derived optimization(MEDO)显示文摘In this paper,a novel global optimization algorithm,named as Maxwell’s equations derived optimization(MEDO),is proposed.Using the Maxwell’s equations to analyse the behaviors of the timevarying current,the Ampere force is obtained from Fleming’s left hand rule.MEDO introduces an‘Ampere force’term,which is derived from Maxwell’s equations and is rigorous in physics,to drive the variables to the global optimal solution in the search space.In addition,introducing‘gravity’to MEDO can increase the stability of the optimizations.11 classical benchmarks are tested,and results show that MEDO can always converge to numerical optimal solutions.To evaluate the proposed MEDO in solving the electromagnetic problems,four practical engineering applications are considered including the linear antenna array synthesis,frequency selected surface optimization,numerical dispersion reduction for finite-difference method,and parameters extraction of typical waveform.These examples are significant in electromagnetics,but tough to be solved because of their high dimensionality and strong nonlinearity.Numerical results show that MEDO can outperform several classic optimization methods,like wind driven optimization(WDO)and particle swarm optimization(PSO).Therefore,the electromagnetics-inspired MEDO is robust and of great potential in solving the electromagnetic optimization problems.Donglin SU Lilin LI Shunchuan YANG Bing LI Guangzhi CHEN Hui XU 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,10:1

13Analytical Models of Passive Linear Structures in Printed Circuit Boards显示文摘Analytical models for passive linear structures,like metallic traces,vias,are proposed for simulations at the package and Printed circuit board(PCB)levels.In the proposed method,traces are modeled based on the transmission line theory,whereas the vias are described by the parallel-plate impedance and several equivalent circuits elements.The proposed models can be applied to efficiently simulate composed passive linear structures.Several scenarios are analyzed including traces with two or three width,traces routed into different layers and interconnects commonly used in PCBs.The results of the models are compared with those from the fullwave simulations and experiments.An improvement on the computation speed has been observed with respect to the full-wave simulations at the effective range of models.In our measurements,a compensation approach of impedance mismatch in parameter measurements is analyzed and calculated,which could significantly simplify the experimental process.PENG Zhenzhen SU Donglin 2021Chinese Journal of Electronics2021,30,2:0
14External rectal prolapse:abdominal or perineal repair for men?A retrospective cohort study显示文摘Background:External rectal prolapse is a relatively rare disease,in which male patients account for a minority.The selection of abdominal repair or perineal repair for male patients has rarely been investigated.Methods:Fifty-one male patients receiving abdominal repair(laparoscopic ventral rectopexy)or perineal repair(Delorme or Altemeier procedures)at the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University(Guangzhou,China)between March 2013 and September 2019 were retrospectively analysed.We compared the recurrence,complication rate,post-operative defecation disorder,length of stay,and quality of life between the abdominal and perineal groups.Results:Of the 51 patients,45 had a complete follow-up,with a median of 48.5 months(range,22.8–101.8 months).A total of 35 patients were under age 40 years.The complication rate associated with abdominal repair was less than that associated with perineal repair(0%vs 20.7%,P=0.031)and the recurrence rate was also lower(9.5%vs 41.7%,P=0.018).Multivariate analysis showed that perineal repair(odds ratio,9.827;95%confidence interval,1.296–74.50;P=0.027)might be a risk factor for recurrence.Moreover,only perineal repair significantly improved post-operative constipation status(preoperative vs post-operative,72.4%vs 25.0%,P=0.001).There was no reported mortality in either of the groups.No patient’s sexual function was affected by the surgery.Conclusions:Both surgical approaches were safe in men.Compared with perineal repair,the complication rate and recurrence rate for abdominal repair were lower.However,perineal repair was better able to correct constipation.Bang Hu Qi Zou Zhenyu Xian Dan Su Chao Liu Li Lu Minyi Luo Zixu Chen Keyu Cai Han Gao Hui Peng Wuteng Cao Donglin Ren 2022Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1:0

17A Novel Approach of Electromagnetic Compatibility Conducted Susceptibility Analysis Based on Gaussian Even Pulse Signal显示文摘The purpose of the electromagnetic compatibility conducted susceptibility test for interconnected cables in the system is to evaluate its ability to operate acceptably when subjected to interference.We propose a novel conducted susceptibility analysis approach:by injecting the Gaussian even pulse signal,we find that the susceptibility threshold of the system shows two different patterns with the change of signal parameters;then we locate the cause of the susceptibility of the device by analyzing the threshold level curves.The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by testing with devices containing digital modules such as navigation receivers.The proposed approach facilitates a deeper understanding of the susceptibility mechanism of systems and their appropriate electromagnetic compatibility design.Youwei MENG Yanhua PENG Haoyang ZHANG Lilin LI Donglin SU 2024Chinese Journal of Electronics2024,33,2:0
18An Algorithm for Output Spectrum Analysis of Nonlinear System with Correlative Sources Based on Power Series显示文摘An algorithm for output spectrum analysis of nonlinear system with correlative sources is proposed.First,the output terms of nonlinear system are analyzed based on the power series.Then,the algorithm is proposed.In the proposed method,different terms with the same frequency are picked out and added together by considering different phases,and the amplitudes of the output spectrum are obtained from the summarized results.Two numerical examples are used to verify the proposed algorithm.It is found that the amplitudes of output spectrum vary with different combinations of phases.Finally,the proposed algorithm is applied to control the output spectrum.Results show that the output amplitude of a specific frequency can be suppressed through changing both the amplitudes and the phases of the input signals.XU Hui SU Donglin 2021Chinese Journal of Electronics2021,30,3:0
19A Novel Wideband Wilkinson Pulse Combiner with Enhanced Low Frequency Isolation显示文摘In this paper,a novel Wilkinson pulse combiner(WPC)is proposed for the combination of Gaussian pulse signals.The WPC requires a very wide bandwidth,small size and high port isolation.To improve the operating bandwidth,the design adopts the form of eight-section WPC.Eight capacitors are connected in series with the isolating resistors of each section.After capacitive loading,isolation between WPC input ports is significantly improved at low frequency.Consequently,the operating bandwidth of WPC has been increased from 13:1 to 31:1.Compared with the conventional Wilkinson combiner with the same bandwidth,the proposed WPC reduces the size by 40%.In addition,all the ports are well impedance matched and the insertion loss in the operating frequency band is less than 0.5 dB.To verify the feasibility of the design,a prototype was fabricated and measured.Experiment shows that the novel WPC is more advantageous to generate dual-Gaussian pulse signals.WANG Zitong WU Qi SU Donglin 2023Chinese Journal of Electronics2023,32,4:0
20Adaptive support vector machine decision feedback equalizer显示文摘An adaptive support vector machine decision feedback equalizer(ASVM-DFE) based on the least square support vector machine(LS-SVM) is proposed,it solves linear system iteratively with less computational intensity.An adaptive non-singleton fuzzy support vector machine decision feedback equalizer(ANSFSVMDFE) is also presented,it adopts the non-singleton fuzzy Gaussian kernel function with similar characteristic of pre-filter and is modified with a space transformation based approach.Simulations under nonlinear time variant channels show that ASVM-DFE and ANSFSVM-DFE perform very well on nonlinear equalization and ANSFSVM-DFE acts especially well in resisting abrupt interference.Sumin Zhang Shu Li Donglin Su 2011Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2011,22,3:0
