| 1 | Palaeogeomorphology and its control on the development of sequence stratigraphy and depositional systems of the Early Silurian in the Tarim Basin显示文摘The Silurian in the Tarim Basin was deposited on the basement deformed by the Caledonian tectonic movements at the end of the Late Ordovician. The development and distribution of sedimentary sequences of the Early Silurian have been clearly controlled by the palaeogeomorphology of the Late Ordovician. Based on unconformity characteristics and distribution of erosion, several zones can be differentiated including a high uplifted erosion zone, a transitional slope zone and a depression zone. The central and west Tabei Uplift zones show high angular unconformity and intense erosion. The Tarim Basin in the late Ordovician shows characteristics of higher in the west, lower in the east while higher in the south, lower in the north. The Early Silurian mainly developed transgressive and highstand systems tracts on the whole, while the lowstand systems tract only developed partly below the slope break. The palaeogeomorphology controlled the clastic source supply and deposit distribution. Braided delta system and tidal flat–estuary system were deposited. The duration of uplifting of the Tazhong paleouplift was longer than that of the Tabei paleo-uplift, and deposition was later. This led to the lower and middle members of the Kepingtage Formation missing in that area. As a large-scale transgression occurred during the deposition period of the upper member of the Kepingtage Formation, sediment from the west of the basin was transported and deposited by tides and waves, forming tidal–marine debris systems above the uplift. Proximal alluvial fan and fan delta coarse clastic deposits developed in proximal uplift zone in the east and southeast of the basin, and braided delta put forward to the transitional zone between the edge of uplift and the sea. Large-scale tidal channel, sub-distributary channel and mouth bar of the delta front can form favorable reservoirs, and they are primary targets for oil and gas exploration. | 9 | Genome sequence of Gossypium anomalum facilitates interspecific introgression breeding显示文摘Crop wild relatives are an important reservoir of natural biodiversity. However, incorporating wild geneticdiversity into breeding programs is often hampered by reproductive barriers and a lack of accurate genomicinformation. We assembled a high-quality, accurately centromere-anchored genome of Gossypium anomalum, a stress-tolerant wild cotton species. We provided a strategy to discover and transfer agronomicallyvaluable genes from wild diploid species to tetraploid cotton cultivars. With a (Gossypium hirsutum 3 G.anomalum)2 hexaploid as a bridge parent, we developed a set of 74 diploid chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs) of the wild cotton species G. anomalum in the G. hirsutum background. This set of CSSLsincluded 70 homozygous substitutions and four heterozygous substitutions, and it collectively containedabout 72.22% of the G. anomalum genome. Twenty-four quantitative trait loci associated with plant height,yield, and fiber qualities were detected on 15 substitution segments. Integrating the reference genome withagronomic trait evaluation of the CSSLs enabled location and cloning of two G. anomalum genes thatencode peroxiredoxin and putative callose synthase 8, respectively, conferring drought tolerance andimproving fiber strength. Meanwhile, two esterification products of 1, penifellutins C (3) and D (4), were obtained because compound 1 could be esterified spontaneously when stored in methanol. Their configurations were difficult to determine because of chiral central crowdedness, structural flexibility and instability. | 13 | RNF126 Quenches RNF168 Function in the DNA Damage Response显示文摘DNA damage response(DDR) is essential for maintaining genome stability and protecting cells from tumorigenesis. Ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like modi?cations play an important role in DDR, from signaling DNA damage to mediating DNA repair. In this report, we found that the E3 ligase ring ?nger protein 126(RNF126) was recruited to UV laser micro-irradiation-induced stripes in a RNF8-dependent manner. RNF126 directly interacted with and ubiquitinated another E3 ligase, RNF168. Overexpression of wild type RNF126, but not catalytically-inactive mutant RNF126(CC229/232 AA), diminished ubiquitination of H2 A histone family member X(H2AX),and subsequent bleomycin-induced focus formation of total ubiquitin FK2, TP53-binding protein1(53 BP1), and receptor-associated protein 80(RAP80). Interestingly, both RNF126 overexpression and RNF126 downregulation compromised homologous recombination(HR)-mediated repair of DNA double-strand breaks(DSBs). | 15 | Carbon nanotube-based photothermal membrane for efficient cold air heating and removal of particulate matter and airborne bacteria显示文摘Indoor heating results in high energy consumption and severe atmospheric pollution.Although the development of solar air heaters provides a sustainable route for indoor thermal comfort,such heaters still face challenges in terms of adequate heat exchange and filtering of atmospheric pollutants.Inspired by solar-driven interfacial evaporation,we propose a multifunctional carbon nanotube-based photothermal membrane for efficient cold air heating and purification via ventilation.Carbon nanotubes endow the membrane with high light absorption and thermal conversion capabilities,thereby sufficiently heating the approaching cold air.With the hierarchical structure formed by phase inversion,the thin upper skin of the composite membrane intercepts micropollutants via the size-sieving effect,whereas the finger-like pores and interpenetrating macrovoids inside the membrane ensure that the heated clear air passes through quickly.A proof-of-principle experiment indicated a cold airflow of 1 L/min across the membrane,yielding a temperature increase of ca.37°C as well as a PM 2.5 rejection always higher than 93%.Further antibacterial experiments demonstrated that the membrane effectively removed airborne bacteria.This multifunctional carbon nanotube-based photothermal membrane with specific microstructures not only improves the indoor living quality but also provides a sustainable development scheme to coordinate the relationship among energy utilization,building heating,and air purification. | Weichao Dong Lina Huang Xiangju Song Yan Zhang Mengke Liu Zhenzhen Ren Long Pang Hui Peng Heqing Jiang | 2024 | Green Carbon2024,2,1: | 0 |

| 18 | Bionic immunoactivator copresenting autophagy promoting and costimulatory molecules for synergistic cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Immunotherapy has great promise in improving malignant tumor treatment.However,the efficacy of existing strategies is often limited by the immunosuppressive environment.Here,we demonstrate an in situ bionic immunoactivator,PLT-Bec1/DTA-1,with possessed natural advantages of platelets for tumor recruitment and activation,on which DTA-1(CD357 monoclonal antibody)and Bec1 were tethered as combined immune boosters.PLT-Bec1/DTA-1,as a self-triggered release repository,can deliver the pre-tethered Bec1 and DTA-1 deeply through the secretion of platelet microparticles(PMPs),thereby cooperate tacitly and exhibit superiority in immune activation of dendritic cells(DCs)and T cells via autophagy inducibility,coupled with glucocorticoid-induced tumor necrosis factor receptor(GITR)-triggered T_(Reg) suppression,remodeled the immunosuppressive network of tumor microenvironment.PLT-Bec1/DTA-1 promoted antigen presentation and T cell proliferation,and alleviated the low activity state of bone marrow-derived dendritic cells(BMDCs)in tumor suppressive environment.PLT-Bec1/DTA-1 inhibited tumor recurrence(5-and 13-fold lower of control group in tumor volume)and CD8^(+)T/T_(Reg) ratio(6.3-and 8.8-fold vs.control group)in mouse tumor model after intravenous or subcutaneous administration.Also,PLT-Bec1/DTA-1 prevented tumor colonization in lung through in situ immune activation,and was slightly superior to the combined of Bec1 and PD-L1.Our findings highlight the promise of delivering immunostimulatory payloads via bionic carriers,eliciting automatic in situ activation of effector immune cells in tumor microenvironment for tumor eradication.All these results provide promising prospects into the application of immunoactivator in improving cancer synergistic immunotherapy to overcome the bottlenecks in clinic. | Yiwei Peng Yiliang Yang Zhenzhen Yang Datong Gao Jiajia Li Qi Sun Yitian Du Meng Lin Xianrong Qi | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0 |
