| 3 | Rutile to Titanite Transformation in Eclogites and its Geochemical Consequences:An Example from the Sumdo Eclogite,Tibet显示文摘The formation of titanite coronae after rutile is common in retrograde high-to ultrahigh-pressure meta-mafic rocks,which provides a good opportunity to address the geochemical behavior of HFSE in crustal environments.In the Sumdo eclogite,titanite occurs either as a corona around rutile grains or as semi-continuous veins cross-cutting the major foliation,whereas rutile grains occur either as inclusions in garnet or omphacite or as a relict core surrounded by titanite.Textural relationships and trace elements characteristics of rutile and titanite with different occurrences indicate that both minerals preferentially incorporate Nb and Hf over Ta and Zr in aqueous fluid.Moreover,the breakdown of omphacite and epidote could release substantial amounts of aqueous fluids enriched in Ca,Si,Fe and REE,which would react with rutile to form titanite coronae and veins.During this process,water-insoluble elements,like HFSE and HREE,behave like mobile elements,but they do not migrate substantially out of the system,instead,tending to react in situ.This suggests that the aqueous fluids released during the retrograde metamorphic reactions in mafic rocks could not substantially transfer fluidimmobile elements into the overlying mantle wedge in subduction environments. | ZHAO Linghao ZENG Lingsen GAO Li’e HU Mingyue SUN Dongyang ZHANG Lifei | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,1: | 2 |

| 9 | Tetrathiafulvalene esters with high redox potentials and improved solubilities for non-aqueous redox flow battery applications显示文摘The exploitation of high performance redox-active substances is critically important for the development of non-aqueous redoxflow batteries.Herein,three tetrathiofulvalene(TTF)derivatives with different substitution groups,namely TTF diethyl ester(TTFDE),TTF tetramethyl ester(TTFTM),and TTF tetraethyl ester(TTFTE),are prepared and their energy storage properties are evaluated.It has been found that the redox potential and solubility of these TTF derivatives in conventional carbonate electrolytes increases with the number of ester groups.The battery with a catholyte of 0.2 mol L^(-1) of TTFTE delivers a specific capacity of more than 10 Ah L^(-1) at the current density of 0.5 C with two discharge voltage platforms locating at as high as 3.85 and 3.60 V vs.Li/Liþ.Its capacity retention can be improved from 2.34 Ah L^(-1) to 3.60 Ah L^(-1) after 100 cycles by the use of an anion exchange membrane to block the crossover of TTF species.The excellent cycling stability of the TIF esters is supported by their well-delocalized electrons,as revealed by the density function theory calculations.Therefore,the introduction of more and larger electron-withdrawing groups is a promising strategy to simultaneously increase the redox-potential and solubility of redox-active ma-terials for non-aqueous redoxflow batteries. | Weikang Hu Jiaqi Xu Nanjie Chen Zongcai Deng Yuekun Lai Dongyang Chen | 2024 | Green Energy & Environment2024,9,5: | 0 |

| 13 | Whole-exome sequencing reveals genetic risks of early-onset sporadic dilated cardiomyopathy in the Chinese Han population显示文摘To reveal genetic risks of early-onset sporadic dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM) patients in the Chinese Han population, we enlisted 363 DCM cases and 414 healthy controls. Whole-exome sequencing and phenotypic characterization were conducted. In total, we identified 26 loss-of-function(LOF) candidates and 66 pathogenic variants from 33 genes, most of which were novel.The deleterious variants can account for 25.07%(91/363) of all patients. Furthermore, rare missense variants in 21 genes were found to be significantly associated with DCM in burden tests. Other than rare variants, twelve common SNPs were significantly associated with an increased risk of DCM in allele-based genetic model association analysis. Of note, in the cumulative risk model, high-risk subjects had a 3.113-fold higher risk of developing DCM than low-risk subjects. Also, DCM in the high-risk group had a younger age of onset than that in the low-risk group. | 15 | Electro-spraying/spinning: A novel battery manufacturing technology显示文摘Lithium-ion battery(LIB) industry seems to have met its bottle neck in cutting down producing costs even though much efforts have been put into building a complete industrial chain. Actually, manufacturing methods can greatly affect the cost of battery production. Up to now, lithium ion battery producers still adopt manufacturing methods with cumbersome sub-components preparing processes and costly assembling procedures, which will undoubtedly elevate the producing cost. Herein, we propose a novel approach to directly assemble battery components(cathode, anode and separator) in an integrated way using electro-spraying and electro-spinning technologies. More importantly, this novel battery manufacturing method can produce LIBs in large scale, and the products show excellent mechanical strength, flexibility, thermal stability and electrolyte wettability. Additionally, the performance of the as-prepaed Li Fe PO_(4)||graphite full cell produced by this new method is comparable or even better than that produced by conventional manufacturing approach.
