Boron and nitrogen dual-doped carbon as a novel cathode for high performance hybrid ion capacitors显示文摘Hybrid ion capacitors have been considered as a very attractive energy source with high energy density and power density since it combines both merits of lithium ion batteries and supercapacitors. However, their commercial application has been limited by the mismatch of charge-storage capacity and electrode kinetics between the capacitor-type cathode and battery-type anode. Herein, B and N dual-doped 3D superstructure carbon cathode is prepared through a facile template method. It delivers a high specific capacity, excellent rate capability and good cycling stability due to the B, N dual-doping, which has a profound effect in control the porosity, functional groups, and electronic conductivity for the carbon cathode. The hybrid ion capacitors using B, N dual-doping carbon cathode and prelithiated graphite anode show a high energy density of 115.5 Wh/kg at 250 W/kg and remain about 53.6 Wh/kg even at a high power density of 10 kW/kg. Additionally, the novel hybrid device achieves 76.3% capacity retention after 2000 cycles tested at 1250 W/kg power density. Significantly, the simultaneous manipulation of heteroatoms in carbon materials provides new opportunities to boost the energy and power density for hybrid ion capacitors. | Jiangmin Jiang Ping Nie Shan Fang Yadi Zhang Yufeng An Ruirui Fu Hui Dou Xiaogang Zhang | 2018 | Chinese Chemical Letters2018,29,4: | 1
Is oral microbiome of children able to maintain resistance and functional stability in response to short-term interference of ingesta?显示文摘Dear Editor,A series of studies had focused on the ecological stability of human microbiome(Lozupone et al.,2012;Faith et al.,2013;Moya and Ferrer,2016).Despite the continuous perturbation and the highly personalized composition within the human microbiome(Human Microbiome Project,2012),healthy adults stably maintain their microbial communities in terms of space and time(Faith et al.,2013;Moya and Ferrer,2016;Oh et al.,2016).This stability is proved to be critical for the well-being of human body(Lozupone et al.,2012).On the contrary, major shifts in microbial community composition are often related to diseases(Lynch and Pedersen,2016). | Fangqiao Wei Xiangyu Sun Yufeng Gao Haoyu Dou Yang Liu Lili Su Haofei Luo Ce Zhu Qian Zhang Peiyuan Tong Wen Ren Zhe Xun Ruochun Guo Yuanlin Guan Shenghui Li Yijun Qi Junjie Qin Feng Chen Shuguo Zheng | 2021 | Protein & Cell2021,12,6: | 1

Bi-continuous Mg-Ti interpenetrating-phase composite as a partially degradable and bioactive implant material显示文摘Mg(and Mg alloys)and Ti(and Ti alloys)are two important classes of metallic implant materials which are respectively completely degradable and non-degradable after implantation.Making composites composed of them offers the promise for combining their property advantages for bone repair. Here,we present a Mg-Ti composite fabricated by pressureless infiltration of pure Mg melt into 3D printed Ti scaffold, and demonstrate a potential of the composite for use as new partially degradable and bioactive implant materials. The composite has such architecture that the Mg and Ti phases are topologically bicontinuous and mutually interspersed in 3D space, and exhibits several advantages over its constituents, such as higher strengths than as-cast pure Mg and Ti scaffold along with lower Young’s modulus than dense Ti.Additionally, the degradation of Mg phase may induce the formation and ingrowth of new bone tissues into the Ti scaffold to form mechanical interlocking between them;in this process, the Ti scaffold provides constant support and Young’s modulus adaptively decreases toward that of bone.Despite the accelerated corrosion than pure Mg,the composite remains non-cytotoxic and does not cause obvious adverse reactions after implantation as revealed by in vitro and in vivo experiments. This study may offer a new possibility for combining mechanical durability and bioactivity in implant materials, and allow for customized and targeted design of the implant. | Chenxi Dou Mingyang Zhang Dechun Ren Haibin Ji Zhe Yi Shaogang Wang Zengqian Liu Qiang Wang Yufeng Zheng Zhefeng Zhang Rui Yang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,15: | 0
Operational requirements analysis method based on question answering of WEKG显示文摘The weapon and equipment operational requirement analysis(WEORA) is a necessary condition to win a future war, among which the acquisition of knowledge about weapons and equipment is a great challenge. The main challenge is that the existing weapons and equipment data fails to carry out structured knowledge representation, and knowledge navigation based on natural language cannot efficiently support the WEORA. To solve above problem, this research proposes a method based on question answering(QA) of weapons and equipment knowledge graph(WEKG) to construct and navigate the knowledge related to weapons and equipment in the WEORA. This method firstly constructs the WEKG, and builds a neutral network-based QA system over the WEKG by means of semantic parsing for knowledge navigation. Finally, the method is evaluated and a chatbot on the QA system is developed for the WEORA. Our proposed method has good performance in the accuracy and efficiency of searching target knowledge, and can well assist the WEORA. | ZHANG Zhiwei DOU Yajie XU Xiangqian MA Yufeng JIANG Jiang TAN Yuejin | 2024 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2024,35,2: | 0
Effect of hydrogen impurities on hydrogen oxidation activity of Pt/C catalyst in proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘High-purity of hydrogen is vital to the guarantee of end usage in proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)electric vehicles(EVs)with superior durability and low expense. However, the currently employed hydrogen, primarily from fossil fuel, still contains some poisoning impurities that significantly affect the durability of PEMFCs.Here,we investigate the poisoning effect of several typical hydrogen impurities(S^(2-),Cl^(-),HCOO^(-)and CO_(3)^(2-))on the hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR)of the state-of-the-art carbon-supported platinum(Pt/C)catalyst used in the PEMFC anode.Electrochemical results indicate that the electrochemically active surface area of Pt/C is hampered by these hydrogen impurities with reduced effective Pt reactive sites due to the competitive adsorption against hydrogen at Pt sites showing the extent of the poisoning on Pt sites in the order:S^(2-)>Cl^(-)>HCOO^(-)>CO_(3)^(2-).Density functional theory calculations reveal that the adsorption energy of S2-on Pt(111)is greater than that of Cl^(-),HCOO^(-)and CO_(2),and the electronic structure of Pt is found to be changed due to the adsorption of impurities showing the downshift of the d-band centre of Pt that weakens the adsorption of hydrogen on the Pt sites. This work provides valuable guidance for future optimization of hydrogen quality and also emphasizes the importance of anti-poisoning anode catalyst development, especially towards H_(2)S impurities that seriously affect the durability of PEMFCs. | Yufeng Qin Chaoyong Sun Shaojie Ke Rou Wen Yifan Wang Jing Ji Meiling Dou | 2023 | Clean Energy2023,7,1: | 0
Requirements ranking based on crowd-sourcing high-end product USs显示文摘Based on the characteristics of high-end products,crowd-sourcing user stories can be seen as an effective means of gathering requirements, involving a large user base and generating a substantial amount of unstructured feedback. The key challenge lies in transforming abstract user needs into specific ones, requiring integration and analysis. Therefore,we propose a topic mining-based approach to categorize, summarize, and rank product requirements from user stories.Specifically, after determining the number of story categories based on py LDAvis,we initially classify“I want to”phrases within user stories.Subsequently, classic topic models are applied to each category to generate their names, defining each post-classification user story category as a requirement.Furthermore,a weighted ranking function is devised to calculate the importance of each requirement. Finally,we validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method using 2966 crowd-sourced user stories related to smart home systems. | MA Yufeng DOU Yajie XU Xiangqian JIA Qingyang TAN Yuejin | 2024 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2024,35,1: | 0
Thermally Chargeable Proton Capacitor Based on Redox-Active Effect for Energy Storage and Low-Grade Heat Conversion显示文摘Thermal energy is abundantly available in our daily life and industrial production, and especially,low-grade heat is often regarded as a byproduct.Collecting and utilizing this ignored energy by low-cost and simple technologies may become a smart countermeasure to relieve the energy crisis. Here,a unique device has been demonstrated to achieve high value-added conversion of low-grade heat by introducing redox-active organic alizarin(AZ)onto N-doped hollow carbon nanofibers(N–HCNF)surface.As-prepared N–HCNF/AZ can deliver a high specific capacitance of 514.3 F g^(-1)(at 1 A g^(-1))and an outstanding rate capability of 60.3%even at 50 A g^(-1).Meanwhile,the assembled symmetric proton capacitor can deliver a high energy density of 28.0 Wh kg^(-1) at 350.0 W kg^(-1) and a maximum power density of 35.0 kW kg^(-1) at 17.0 Wh kg^(-1).Significantly,the thermally chargeable proton capacitors can attain a surprisingly high Seebeck coefficient of 15.3 mV K^(-1) and a power factor of 6.02µW g^(-1).Taking advantage of such high performance,a satisfying open-circuit voltage of 481.0 mV with a temperature difference of 54 K is achieved. This research provides new insights into construction of high value-added energy systems requiring high electrochemical performances. | Yufeng An Zhiwei Li Yao Sun Zhijie Chen Jiangmin Jiang Hui Dou Xiaogang Zhang | 2023 | Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,1: | 0
Optimization of dual effects of Mg–1Ca alloys on the behavior of chondrocytes and osteoblasts in vitro显示文摘Mg ions can enhance the proliferation and redifferentiation of chondrocytes and the osteogenic differentiation of osteoblasts at specific concentrations, respectively. However, degradation of Mg alloys at varying degradation rates could lead to complex changes in the surrounding tissue environment, such as changes in the dynamic concentration of Mg ions and subsequent p H value. Considering the above mentioned factors, the comprehensive effects of Mg alloys on chondrocytes and osteoblasts behaviors have not yet been optimized. In this study, we evaluated the effects of Mg–1Ca microspheres on cell behavior with an aim to optimize conditions favorable for both cell types. Cells were cultured with Mg–1Ca microspheres prepared using the following concentrations: 250 μg/ml, 500 μg/ml and 1000 μg/ml. At specific time points, cytotoxicity, expression of specific genes and extracellular matrix deposition by cells(Alizarin Red Staining of osteoblasts and Alcian blue staining for chondrocytes) were evaluated. The experimental results revealed that Mg–1Ca microspheres prepared at a concentration of 250 μg/ml were optimum for both cell types, where chondrocytes were found to be in hypertrophy state while osteoblasts in close proximity to the microspheres showed osteogenetic differentiation. Interestingly, a slight change in osteoblasts behavior was observed nearer to and at a relative distance away from Mg–1Ca microspheres, an important observation for administering the application of microspheres as potential scaffolds. | Yana Dou Ayeesha Mujeeb Yufeng Zheng Zigang Ge | 2014 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2014,24,5: | 0
