1Indoor Allergen Levels and Household Distributions in Nine Cities Across China显示文摘Objective Chinese allergic subjects have high levels of sensitization to house dust mite(HDM) and other indoor allergens. This study quantifies common indoor allergen levels in Chinese households. Methods Dust samples were collected from nine cities. Major allergens Der p 1 and Der f 1 from Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae, and specific antigens of Blomia tropicalis, Tyrophagus putrescentiae, Acarus siro, and cockroach species Blattella germanica and Periplaneta americana were measured by ELISA. Results HDM allergens were found in dust samples from bedding in 95% of the Chinese households. The median levels varied from <0.006 to 9.2 μg/g of dust, depending on the city. The percentages of households having HDM allergen levels associated with the risk of developing allergy sensitization and asthma were 65% and 25%, respectively. Specific antigens of the storage mite and cockroach were only found in samples from the southern and tropical regions of China. Levels of mite allergens were generally higher in samples from bedding compared to samples from the living room, even for storage mites, whereas levels of cockroach antigens were higher in the living room samples. Conclusion HDM allergens are present in bedding dust samples from most Chinese households. Cities in southern and central China have relatively high levels of HDM major allergens compared to cities in northern and western China. 3Experimental study on the laminar flame speed of hydrogen/natural gas/air mixtures显示文摘Laminar flame speeds of hydrogen/natural gas/air mixtures have been measured over a full range of fuel compositions(0-100%volumetric fraction of H_(2))and a wide range of equivalence ratio using Bunsen burner.High sensitivity scientific CCD camera is use to capture the image of laminar flame.The reaction zone area is employed to calculate the laminar flame speed.The initial temperature and pressure of fuel air mixtures are 293 K and 1 atm.The laminar flame speeds of hydrogen/air mixture and natural gas/air mixture reach their maximum values 2.933 and 0.374 m/s when equivalence ratios equal to 1.7 and 1.1,respectively.The laminar flame speeds of hydrogen/natural gas/air mixtures rise with the increase of volumetric fraction of hydrogen.Moreover,the increase in laminar flame speed as the volumetric fraction of hydrogen increases presents an exponential increasing trend versus volumetric fraction of hydrogen.Empirical formulas to calculate the laminar flame speeds of hydrogen,natural gas,and hydrogen/natural gas mixtures are also given.Using these formulas,the laminar flame speed at different hydrogen fractions and equivalence ratios can be calculated.Chen DONG Qulan ZHOU Xiaoguang ZHANG Qinxin ZHAO Tongmo XU Shi’en HUI 2010Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2010,4,4:4
4Novel Species Including Mycobacterium fukienense sp. Is Found from Tuberculosis Patients in Fujian Province, China, Using Phylogenetic Analysis of Mycobacterium chelonae/abscessus Complex显示文摘Objective To identify the novel species ‘Mycobacterium fukienense' sp. nov of Mycobacterium chelonae/abscessus complex from tuberculosis patients in Fujian Province, China. Methods Five of 27 clinical Mycobacterium isolates(Cls) were previously identified as M. chelonae/abscessus complex by sequencing the hsp65, rpoB, 16S-23S rRNA internal transcribed spacer region(its), recA and sodA house-keeping genes commonly used to describe the molecular characteristics of Mycobacterium. Clinical Mycobacterium isolates were classified according to the gene sequence using a clustering analysis program. Sequence similarity within clusters and diversity between clusters were analyzed. Results The 5 isolates were identified with distinct sequences exhibiting 99.8% homology in the hsp65 gene. However, a complete lack of homology was observed among the sequences of the rpoB, 16S-23S rRNA internal transcribed spacer region(its), sodA, and recA genes as compared with the M. abscessus. Furthermore, no match for rpoB, sodA, and recA genes was identified among the published sequences. 5On the Random Conjugate Spaces of a Random Locally Convex Module显示文摘Theoretically speaking, there are four kinds of possibilities to define the random conjugate space of a random locally convex module. The purpose of this paper is to prove that among the four kinds there are only two which are universally suitable for the current development of the theory of random conjugate spaces.
