1Occupant evacuation model based on cellular automata in fire显示文摘By applying the rules set in traffic flow and pedestrian flow models, a basic cellular automata model is presented to simulate occupant evacuation in fire. Some extended models are introduced to study the special phenomena of evacuation from the fire room. The key of the models is the introduction of the danger grade which makes the route choice convenient and reasonable. Fire not only influences the emotional and behavioral characteristics of an individual but also affects his physical constitution, which reduces his maximal possible velocity. The models consider these influence factors by applying a set of simple but effective rules. It is needed to emphasize that all rules are established according to the essential phenomenon in fire evacuation, that is, all the occupants would try to move to the safest place as fast as possible. 2Cellular automata pedestrian movement model considering human behavior显示文摘The pedestrian movement is more complex than vehicular flow for the reason that people are more flexible and intelligent than car. Without the limit of 搇anes?pedestrian movement is loose and free. Furthermore, they are easily affected by other walkers as well as the environ-ment around. In this paper some special technique is intro-duced considering human behavior to make the rules more reasonable. By simulating the two-dimension pedestrian movement, the phase transition phenomena of pedestrian movement, including the up walkers moving from the bottom to the upper boundary and the right walkers moving from the left to the right boundary, are presented. 3Earthquake prediction from China's mobile gravity data显示文摘The relation between plate tectonics and earthquake evolution is analyzed systematically on the basis of 1998e2010 absolute and relative gravity data from the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China. Most earthquakes originated in the plate boundary or within the fault zone. Tectonic deformation was most intense and exhibited discontinuity within the tectonically active fault zone because of the differential movement; the stress accumulation produced an abrupt gravity change, which was further enhanced by the earthquake. The gravity data from China's Mainland since 2000 obviously reflected five major earthquakes(Ms > 7), all of which were better reflected than before 2000. Regional gravity anomalies and a gravity gradient change were observed in the area around the epicenter about 2 or 3 years before the earthquake occurred, suggesting that gravity change may be a seismic precursor. 4A microcosmic discrete occupant evacuation model based on individual characteristics显示文摘The research of occupant evacuation in an emergency is of great benefit to building design and evacuation guidance. In this paper a microcosmic discrete evacuation model based on Cellular Automata (CA) is presented, in which the occupants?individual characteristics are considered. Thus, our model has given a description of evacuation route choice with influencing factors, including: individual knowledge of the building, individual realization of the emergency development, and the attractive and repulsive force between occupants. This model differs somewhat from other models in the attention to the associative and separate effect of influencing factors, based on occupants behaviors. 5Measurement and Spatial Distribution of Urban Agglomeration Industrial Compactness in China显示文摘Urban agglomeration (UA) compactness means spatial concentration degree of physical entities, such as cities (towns), industries, resources, funds, traffic and technologies, whose concentration is formed according to specified economic and technologic association in the process of UA formation and development. The UA industrial compactness means the concentration degree of industry and industry clusters with reference to the industrial, technologi- cal and economic relations among the cities in the UA in the process of rational industrial division and with the exten- sion of industrial chain. After analyzing the researches on compactness, this paper finds that the relevant measurement coefficient and methods reflecting industrial geographical concentration fail to link industries spatial concentration with urban spatial concentration. Taking 23 UAs as samples and classifying them by development degree, this paper probes into UA compactness and spatial distribution characteristics from the perspective of industry by adopting UA index systems of industry and measurement models. The research finds out: 1) there is obvious positive correlation between UA industrial compactness and UA development degree; 2) the spatial distribution difference of UA industrial compactness is relatively great; and 3) UA industrial compactness shows a gradually decreasing tendency from the eastern part, the middle part to the western part of China. 6Gravity variations before the Menyuan Ms6.4 earthquake显示文摘In order to study the relationship between gravity variation and Menyuan Ms6.4 earthquake, gravity variation characteristics in mid-eastern of Qilian Mountain were analyzed based on the 2012-2015 relative gravity datasets. The results indicated that the gravity changes in mid-eastern of Qilian Mountain increased gradually, while gravity changes around Menyuan remarkably. 7Gravity variation associated with Wenchuan earthquake in western Sichuan显示文摘Based on the data of mobile gravity observation from 1998 to 2008 in western Sichuan, spatial dynamic variation results of regional gravity field are obtained. The relationship between the gravity variation features and Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake is systematically analyzed. The results show: 1)Gravity variation is closely related to active fault tectonics,and gravity measurement can better reflect material migration following crustal tectonic activity near active fault. 2)The gravity field appeared a wider range regional gravity variation during Wenchuan earthquake occurrence. 18Distribution patterns of 210Po, 210Pb and the particle export in the Taiwan Strait during the winter显示文摘210Po and 210Pb are increasingly used to constrain particle dynamics in the open oceans,however they are less used in coastal waters.Here,distributions and partitions of 210Po and 210Pb were examined in the Taiwan Strait,as well as their application to quantify particle sinking.Activity concentrations of dissolved 210Po and 210Pb(<0.6μm)ranged from 1.21 to 7.63 dpm/(100 L)and from 1.07 to 6.33 dpm/(100 L),respectively.Activity concentrations of particulate 210Po and 210Pb varied from 1.96 to 36.74 dpm/(100 L)and from 3.11 to 38.06 dpm/(100 L).Overall,particulate 210Po and 210Pb accounted for the majority of the bulk 210Po and 210Pb.210Po either in dissolved or particulate phases showed similar spatial patterns to 210Pb,indicating similar mechanisms for controlling the distributions of 210Po and 210Pb in the Taiwan Strait.The different fractionation coefficients indicated that particles in the Zhemin Coastal Current(ZCC)inclined to absorb 210Po prior to 210Pb while they showed an opposite effect in the Taiwan Warm Current(TWC).Based on the disequilibria between 210Po and 210Pb,the sinking fluxes of total particulate matter(TPM)were estimated to range from–0.22 to 3.84 g/(m2·d),showing an overall comparable spatial distribution to previous reported sediment accumulation rates.However,our sinking fluxes were lower than the sedimentation rates,indicating a sediment resuspension in winter and horizontal transport of particulate matter from the Taiwan Strait to the East China Sea.Lihao Zhang Weifeng Yang Min Chen Yinian Zhu Zhou Wang Ziming Fang Yusheng Qiu Yanhong 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,2:1
