| 11 | Effect of Changing Heart Rate on the Ocular Pulse and Optic Nerve Head Deformations显示文摘Objective To study the effect of changing heart rate on the ocular pulse and optic nerve head deformations with a viscoelastic lamina cribrosa.Methods An FE model of a healthy eye was reconstructed.The choroid was biphasic and consisted of a solid phase(connective tissues)and a fluid phase(blood).The LC was viscoelastic as characterized by a stress-relaxation test.We applied arterial pressures at 18 entry sites(posterior ciliary arteries)and venous pressures at 4 exit sites(vortex veins).The heart rate was varied from 60 bpm to 120 bpm(increment:20 bpm).We reported the ocular pulse amplitude(OPA),pulse volume,optic nerve head(ONH)deformations and the dynamic modulus of the LC at different heart rates.Results With an increasing heart rate,the OPA decreased by 0.04 mmHg for every 10 bpm increase.The pulse volume also exhibited a linear relationship with heart rate,and decreased by 0.13 L.In addition,the storage modulus and the loss modulus of the LC center increased by 0.014 MPa and 0.04 MPa,respectively for every 10 pm increase in heart rate.Conclusions Our model predicted that the OPA,the pulse volume the ONH deformation decreased at a faster heartrate.We also found that the viscoelastic LC became stiffer with an increasing heart rate.Further studies are required to explore the potential links with the vascular dysregulation and axonal loss in glaucoma. | Yuejiao Jin Xiaofei Wang Sylvi Febriana Rachmawati Irnadiastputri Rosmin Elsa Mohan Tin Aung Leopold Schmetterer Michal JAGirard | 2019 | 医用生物力学2019,34,A01: | 0 |
| 12 | Application of Cow Manure Combined with Rice Husk Ash to Increase Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr) Production in Indonesia Ultisol显示文摘This study aims to determine the ability of CM(Cow Manure)combined with RHA(Rice Husk Ash)to provide a significant effect on the growth and production of soybean planted in an ultisol.It was conducted in a pot experiment at the Experimental Site of the Faculty of Agriculture,Sriwijaya University,Indralaya,Indonesia between September 2019 and February 2020 using completely randomized design factorial with two factors which were two rate levels of RHA at 3.75 and 7.5 tons·ha^(-1) and three rate levels of CM at 0,10,and 20 tons·ha^(-1).It is important to note that each combination was repeated three times,thereby,leading to a total of 18 pots.The variables studied were plant growth and yield which are represented by plant height,the total number of pods,number of filled pods,seed weight per plant,and soybean produced.The results showed that CM combined with RHA was effective in increasing nutrient availability and reducing soil acidity.It was discovered that CM had a significant effect on soil pH,plant height,the total number of pods,number of filled pods,seed weight per plant,and soybean produced while RHA did not have any significant difference on all the variables observed.However,the combination of 10 tons·ha-1 CM with 3.75 tons·ha-1 RHA was observed to be the best combination treatment to increase the growth and production of soybean in ultisol as indicated by its ability to produce 2.58 tons·ha^(-1) soybean. | Dedik Budianta Erlia Febriana Siti Nurul Aidil Fitri | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Science and Engineering(B)2022,11,2: | 0 |
