| 1 | Formation mechanism of in-situ volcanic reservoirs in eastern China:A case study from Xushen gasfield in Songliao Basin显示文摘A large number of in-situ volcanic reservoirs have been discovered from the Meso-Cenozoic rift basin group in eastern China.Based on drilling results in combination with geological and geophysical analysis,a case study from the Early Cretaceous Xujiaweizi fault-depression shows that the formation mechanism of in-situ volcanic reservoirs is characterized by'fault-controlled body,body-controlled facies,facies-controlled reservoir,and reservoir-controlled accumulation'.In other words,deep faults control the volcanic eruption type,volcanic body,and gas reservoir distribution;the volcanic body determines the spatial distribution of volcanic facies and volcanic gas reservoir size;the volcanic facies control reservoir physical properties and effective thickness of gas formation;the volcanic reservoir properties control gas reservoir type and gas productivity.The result is useful to guiding the discovery of in-situ volcanic gas reservoirs in faulted basins in both theory and practice. | FENG ZiHui YIN ChangHai LIU JiaJun ZHU YingKang LU JiaMin LI JiangHai | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,12: | 12 |
| 2 | Current oscillations during the electrochemical oxidation of sulfide in the presence of an external resistor显示文摘The electrochemical oxidation of sulfide on a polycrystalline platinum electrode was studied under potentiostatic condition when an external resistor is in series with the working electrode. Only two os- cillatory regions can be obtained in the absence of the external resistance, but four oscillatory regions, including two new current oscillations, were found in this system by controlling the external resistance. It is demonstrated that three oscillatory regimes, which arise on the positive branch of current-potential curve, can be classified as HN-NDR (Hidden N-shaped Negative Differential Resistance) oscillators. For the first oscillatory region, various transient complex phenomena, which result from the change of the electrode/electrolyte interface by accumulation of adsorbed element sulfur on the electrode, have been observed. The dynamic behavior of NDR (Negative Differential Resistance) oscillations, appearing along with negative branch of polarization curve, can transform from oscillations into bistability with a sufficient large external resistance in series. Two oscillatory regions in high-potential region classified as HN-NDR type oscillations are separated by a saddle-loop bifurcation. They displayed a sequence of bursting oscillations and irregular oscillations, respectively. | 3 | Stimulation impact of electric currents on heterotrophic denitrifying microbial viability and denitrification performance in high concentration nitrate-contaminated wastewater显示文摘Electric current stimulation has been shown to have a positive influence on heterotrophic denitrifying microbial viability and has the potential to improve wastewater denitrification performance. This study investigated the effects of varying current densities on microbial activity and NO_3^- removal efficiency under heterotrophic conditions.NO_3^-removal rate was highest at an applied current density of 400 mA/m^2. However, the optimum removal efficiency of total inorganic nitrogen(TIN; 99%) was achieved when the current density was fixed at 200 m A/m^2. Accumulation of NH_4^+-N and NO_2^--N byproducts were also minimized at this current density. The activity of heterotrophic denitrifying microorganisms was much higher at both 200 and 400 mA/m^2. Moreover, the average adenosine-5′-triphosphate(ATP)content(an indicator of cell metabolism) at a current density of 1600 mA/m^2 was lower than that under no current, indicating heterotrophic denitrifying microbial activity can be inhibited at high current densities. Hence, direct electrical stimulation on the activity of heterotrophic denitrifying microorganisms in the developed system should be lower than 1600 mA/m^2. | 6 | Unsupervised content-preserving transformation for optical microscopy显示文摘The development of deep learning and open access to a substantial collection of imaging data together provide a potential solution for computational image transformation,which is gradually changing the landscape of optical imaging and biomedical research.However,current implementations of deep learning usually operate in a supervised manner,and their reliance on laborious and error-prone data annotation procedures remains a barrier to more general applicability.Here,we propose an unsupervised image transformation to facilitate the utilization of deep learning for optical microscopy,even in some cases in which supervised models cannot be applied.Through the introduction of a saliency constraint,the unsupervised model,named Unsupervised content-preserving Transformation for Optical Microscopy(UTOM);can learn the mapping between two image domains without requiring paired training data while avoiding distortions of the image content.UTOM shows promising performance in a wide range of biomedical image transformation tasks,including in silico histological staining,fluorescence image restoration,and virtual fluorescence labeling.Quantitative evaluations reveal that UTOM achieves stable and high-fidelity image transformations across different imaging conditions and modalities.We anticipate that our framework will encourage a paradigm shift in training neural networks and enable more applications of artificial intelligence in biomedical imaging. | Xinyang Li Guoxun Zhang Hui Qiao Feng Bao Yue Deng Jiamin Wu Yangfan He Jingping Yun Xing Lin Hao Xie Haoqian Wang Qionghai Dai | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,3: | 1 |

| 10 | Photo-responsive shape memory polymer composites enabled by doping with biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials显示文摘As photothermal conversion agents,carbon nanomaterials are widely applied in polymers for light-triggered shape memory behaviors on account of their excellent light absorption.However,they are usually derived from non-renewable fossil resources,which go against the demand for sustainable development.Biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials are expected as alternatives if they are designed with good dispersibility as well as splendid photothermal properties.Up to date,very few researches focused on this area.Herein,we report a novel light-triggered shape memory composite by incorporating renewable biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials into acrylate polymers without deep purification and processing.These functionalized carbon nanomaterials not only have stable dispersion in polymers as fillers,but also can endow the polymers with excellent and stable thermal and photothermal responsive properties in biological friendly environment.With the introduction of biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials,the mechanical properties of the composites are also further enhanced with the formation of hydrogen bonding between the carbon nanomaterials and the polymers.Notably,the doping of 1%carbon nanomaterials endows the polymer with sufficient hydrogen bonds that not only exhibit excellent thermal and photothermal responsive properties,but also with enough space for the motion of chains.These properties make such composite a promising and safe candidate for shape memory applications,which provide a new avenue in smart fabrics or intelligent soft robotics. | Nina Yan Zhiyu Zheng Yunliang Liu Xizhi Jiang Jiamin Wu Min Feng Lei Xu Qingbao Guan Haitao Li | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1 |

| 12 | Polarization of tumor-associated macrophages by TLR7/8 conjugated radiosensitive peptide hydrogel for overcoming tumor radioresistance显示文摘Radioresistance reduces the antitumor efficiency of radiotherapy and further restricts its clinical application,which is mainly caused by the aggravation of immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment(ITM).Especially tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)usually display the tumor-promoting M2 phenotype during high-dose fractional radiotherapy mediating radiotherapy resistance.Herein,the toll like receptor agonist TLR7/8a was conjugated with radiosensitive peptide hydrogel(Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel)to regulate TAMs repolarization from M2 type into M1 type,thus modulating the ITM and overcoming the radioresistance.The Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel was fabricated through self-assembly with nanofibrous morphology,porous structure and excellent biocompatibility.Uponγ-ray radiation,Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel effectively polarized the macrophages into M1 type.Notably,combined with radiotherapy,TAMs repolarization regulated by Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel could increase tumor necrosis factor secretion,activate antitumor immune response and effectively inhibit tumor growth.Moreover,TAMs repolarization rebuilt the ITM and elicited the immunogenic phenotypes in solid tumors,thus enhanced the PD1-blockade efficacy through increasing tumor infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)and decreasing Treg cells in two different immune activity tumor mice models.Overall,this study substantiated that recruiting and repolarization of TAMs were critical in eliciting antitumor immune response and overcoming radioresistance,thus improving the efficacy of radiotherapy and immunotherapy. | Yumin Zhang Zujian Feng Jinjian Liu Hui Li Qi Su Jiamin Zhang Pingsheng Huang Weiwei Wang Jianfeng Liu | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,10: | 1 |

| 17 | CdS Quantum Dots-sensitized TiO_2 Nanotube Arrays for Solar Cells显示文摘CdS quantum dots(QDs) sensitized TiO2 nanotube arrays photoelectrodes were investigated for their photovoltaic performance of quantum dots-sensitized solar cells. The highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays(TNAs) were synthesized on Ti foils by anodic oxidation method. Then CdS quantum dots were deposited onto the TiO2 nanotube arrays by successive ionic layer absorption and reaction(SILAR) method to serve as the sensitizers. Cd(NO3)2 and Na2S were used as the precursor materials of Cd+ and S2- ions, respectively. It is found that the CdS QDs sensitizer may significantly increase the light response of TiO2 nanotube arrays. With increasing CdS QDs deposition cycles, the visible light response increases. Maximum photocurrent was obtained for the QDs that have an absorption peak at about 500 nm. | 19 | Kinetic study on hydrolysis and oxidation of formamidine disulfide in acidic solutions显示文摘Hydrolysis and oxidation of formamidine disulfide in acidic medium were investigated using high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) and mass spectrometry(MS) at 25 °C.By controlling the slow reaction rate and choosing appropriate mobile phase,HPLC provides the unique advantages over other methods(UV-Vis,chemical separation) in species tracking and kinetic study.In addition to thiourea and formamidine sulfinic acid,two unreported products were also detected in the hydrolysis reaction.Mass spectrometry measurement indicates these two products to be formamidine sulfenic acid and thiocyanogen with mass weights of 92.28 and 116.36,respectively.In the oxidation of formamidine disulfide by hydrogen peroxide,besides thiourea,formamidine sulfenic acid,formamidine sulfinic acid,thiocyanogen and urea,formamidine sulfonic acid and sulfate could be detected.The oxidation reaction was found to be first order in both formamidine disulfide and hydrogen peroxide.The rate constants of hydrolysis and oxidation reactions were determined in the pH range of 1.5-3.0.It was found both rate constants are increased with the increasing of pH.Experimental curves of different species can be effectively simulated via a mechanism scheme for formamidine disulfide oxidation,including hydrolysis equilibrium of formamidine disulfide and irreversible hydrolysis of formamidine sulfenic acid. | HU Ying FENG JiaMin LI YanWei SUN YanYan XU Li ZHAO YueMin GAO QingYu | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,2: | 0 |
| 20 | Bistachybotrysins D and E,one stereoisomeric pair of cytotoxic phenylspirodrimane dimers from Stachybotrys chartarum显示文摘Bistachybotrysins D and E (1 and 2), one stereoisomeric pair of phenylspirodrimane dimers, were isolated from Stachybotrys chartarum CGMCC 3.5365. They represent novel phenylspirodrimane dimers with a central [6,5,6]-tricyclic carbon scaffold containing a cyclopentanone core. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated through extensive spectroscopic data analysis, and their absolute configurations were characterized by calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD). Compounds 1 and 2 displayed potent cytotoxic activity against the four human tumor cell lines HCT116, BGC823, Daoy and HepG2 with IC_ (50)values ranging from 6.7 μmol/L to 11.6 μmol/L.
