| 2 | Hydroxytyrosol and olive leaf extract exert cardioprotective effects by inhibiting GRP78 and CHOP expression显示文摘Myocardial infarction triggers massive biochemical changes, even cardiac cell death. Endoplasmic reticulum stress is involved in the pathology of myocardial infarction-mediated apoptosis. In the present study, myocardial cell line H9c2 cells were treated with cobalt chloride(CoCl_2) to induce hypoxia. Isoproterenol was used for two successive days to induce myocardial infarction in SD rats. The cardioprotective effect of olive leaf extract(OLE) and its main constituent hydroxytyrosol and the underlying mechanisms were evaluated. The results showed that hydroxytyrosol markedly protected H9c2 cells against CoCl_2-induced apoptosis. Hydroxytyrosol could reduce the mRNA and protein expression of GRP78 and CHOP induced by CoCl_2 in vitro. In vivo, the decreased ejection fraction and fractional shortening, increased heart weight/body ratio, the formation of infarction, disordered cardiac muscle fibers and infiltration of inflammatory cells induced by isoproterenol could be significantly ameliorated by pretreatment with OLE for a month. Similarly, OLE could also reverse the increase of GRP78 and CHOP expression induced by isoproterenol. | 3 | Principle and application of three-band gradient difference vegetation index显示文摘Vegetation index is a simple, effective and experiential measurement of terrestrial vegetation activity, and plays a very important role in qualitative and quantitative remote sensing. Aiming at shortages of current vegetation indices, and starting from the analysis of vegetation spectral characteristics, we put forward a new vegetation index, the three-band gradient difference vegetation index (TGDVI), and established algorithms to inverse crown cover fraction and leaf area index (LAI) from it. Theoretical analysis and model simulation show that TGDVI has high saturation point and the ability to remove the influence of background to some degree, and the explicit functional relation with crown cover fraction and LAI can be established. Moreover, study shows that TGDVI also has the ability to partly remove the influence of thin cloud. Experiment in the Shunyi District, Beijing, China shows that reasonable result can be reached using the vegetation index to retrieve LAI. We also theoretically analyzed the reason why the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) owns the low saturation point, and show that it is determined by the definition of NDVI and the characteristic of vegetation spectra, and is unavoidable to some degree. | 4 | Reconfigurable photovoltaic effect for optoelectronic artificial synapse based on ferroelectric p-n junction显示文摘Neuromorphic machine vision has attracted extensive attention on wide fields.However,both current and emerging strategies still suffer from power/time inefficiency,and/or low compatibility,complex device structure.Here we demonstrate a driving-voltage-free optoelectronic synaptic device using non-volatile reconfigurable photovoltaic effect based on MoTe_(2)/α-In_(2)Se_(3) ferroelectric p-n junctions.This function comes from the non-volatile reconfigurable built-in potential in the p-n junction that is related to the ferroelectric polarization inα-In_(2)Se_(3).Reconfigurable rectification behavior and photovoltaic effect are demonstrated firstly.Notably,the figure-of-merits for photovoltaic effect like photoelectrical conversion efficiency non-volatilely increases more than one order.Based on this,retina synapse-like vision functions are mimicked.Optoelectronic short-term and long-term plasticity,as well as basic neuromorphic learning and memory rule are achieved without applying driving voltage.Our work highlights the potential of ferroelectric p-n junctions for enhanced solar cell and low-power optoelectronic synaptic device for neuromorphic machine vision. | Yanrong Wang Feng Wang Zhenxing Wang Junjun Wang Jia Yang Yuyu Yao Ningning Li Marshet Getaye Sendeku Xueying Zhan Congxin Shan Jun He | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,11: | 2 |
