2Modeling the global ionospheric total electron content with empirical orthogonal function analysis显示文摘In the present work we model the global ionospheric total electron content (TEC) with the analysis of empirical orthogonal functions (EOF). The obtained statistical eigen modes, which makeup the modeled TEC, consist of two factors: the eigen vectors mapping TEC patterns at latitude and longitude (or local time LT), and the corresponding coefficients displaying the TEC variations in different time scales, i.e., the solar cycle, the yearly (annual and semiannual) and the diurnal universal time variations. It is found that the EOF analysis can separate the TEC variations into chief processes and the first two modes illustrate the most of the ionospheric climate properties. The first mode contains both the semiannual component which shows the semiannual ionospheric anomaly and the annual component which shows the annual or non-seasonal ionospheric anomaly. The second mode contains mainly the annual component and shows the normal seasonal ionospheric variation at most latitudes and local time sectors. The annual component in the second mode also manifests seasonal anomaly of the ionosphere at higher mid-latitudes around noontime. 5Optical fiber SPR biosensor complying with a 3D composite hyperbolic metamaterial and a graphene film显示文摘In the present study, an optical fiber surface plasmon resonance(SPR) biosensor was developed for measuring time-and concentration-dependent DNA hybridization kinetics. Its design complies with a 3D Au∕Al2O3 multilayer composite hyperbolic metamaterial(HMM), a graphene film, and a D-shaped plastic optical fiber.According to the numerical simulation and the experimental demonstration, the SPR peak of the designed biosensor can be effectively altered in the range of visible to near-infrared by varying the HMM structure. The sensitivity of the appliance was shown to achieve a value of up to 4461 nm/RIU, allowing its applicability for bulk refractive index sensing. 6Dynamic response analysis of a multiple-beam structure subjected to a moving load显示文摘In this study,the dynamic response of an elastically connected multi-beam structure subjected to a moving load with elastic boundary conditions is investigated.The boundary conditions and properties of each beam vary,and the difficulty of solving the motion equation is reduced by using a Fourier series plus three special transformations.By examining a high-speed railway(HSR)with mixed boundary conditions,the rationality for the newly proposed method is verified,the difference in simulated multiple-beam models with different beam numbers is explored,and the influence of material parameters and load speed on the dynamic response of multiple-beam structures is examined.Results suggest that the number of beams in the model should be as close to the actual beam number as possible.Models with an appropriate beam number can be used to describe in detail the dynamic response of the structure.Neglecting the track-structure can overestimate the resonant speed of a high-speed railway,simply-supported beam bridge.The effective interval of foundation stiffness(EIFS)can provide a reference for future engineering designs.Zhang Yuntai Jiang Lizhong Zhou Wangbao Liu Shaohui Feng Yulin Liu Xiang Lai Zhipeng 2022Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,3:2
7Reductive Amination of Carbonyl Compounds with Ammonia and Hydrogenation of Nitriles to Primary Amines with Heterogeneous Cobalt Catalysts显示文摘Reductive amination of aldehydes/ketones with aqueous NH3 and hydrogenation of nitriles to primary amines with Co catalysts were reported. Co@NC-700 exhibited remarkable activity and high selectivity for the reductive amination of aldehydes/ketones with aqueous NH3 and the hydrogenation of nitriles to primary amines. Several primary amines can be obtained with good to excellent yields via the reductive amination of aldehydes/ketones and the hydrogenation of nitriles. The nitrogen-doped carbon(C)-supported Co@NC-700 metal catalyst was prepared via the pyrolysis of bioMOF Co/adenine in activated C. 9Deep Residual Joint Transfer Strategy for Cross-Condition Fault Diagnosis of Rolling Bearings显示文摘Rolling bearings are key components of the drivetrain in wind turbines,and their health is critical to wind turbine operation.In practical diagnosis tasks,the vibration signal is usually interspersed with many disturbing components,and the variation of operating conditions leads to unbalanced data distribution among different conditions.Although intelligent diagnosis methods based on deep learning have been intensively studied,it is still challenging to diagnose rolling bearing faults with small amounts of samples.To address the above issue,we introduce the deep residual joint transfer strategy method for the cross-condition fault diagnosis of rolling bearings.One-dimensional vibration signals are pre-processed by overlapping feature extraction techniques to fully extract fault characteristics.The deep residual network is trained in training tasks with sufficient samples,for fault pattern classification.Subsequently,three transfer strategies are used to explore the generalizability and adaptability of the pre-trained models to the data distribution in target tasks.Among them,the feature transferability between different tasks is explored by model transfer,and it is validated that minimizing data differences of tasks through a dual-stream adaptation structure helps to enhance generalization of the models to the target tasks.In the experiments of rolling bearing faults with unbalanced data conditions,localized faults of motor bearings and planet bearings are successfully identified,and good fault classification results are achieved,which provide guidance for the cross-condition fault diagnosis of rolling bearings with small amounts of training data.Songjun Han Zhipeng Feng 2023Journal of Dynamics, Monitoring and Diagnostics2023,2,1:1
