1Effect of Peak Power and Pulse Width on Coherent Doppler Wind Lidar’s SNR显示文摘The laser device is the core component of coherent Doppler wind lidar.The peak power and pulse width of laser transmitting pulse have important effects on SNR.Based on coherent Doppler wind pulse lidar,the peak power and pulse width influence on SNR is studied on the theoretical derivation and analysis,and the results show that the higher the peak power can realize the greater the signal-to-noise ratio of coherent Doppler wind lidar.But when the peak power is too large,the laser pulse may appear nonlinear phenomenon,which cause the damage of the laser.So,the peak power must be less than the stimulated brillouin scattering power threshold.Increasing the pulse width can make the laser device to output more energy,but it will also make the spatial resolution lower,and the influence of turbulence on SNR will be greater.After a series of simulation analyses,it can be concluded that when the peak power is 650W and the pulse width is 340ns,the SNR of the system can be maximized.In addition,the coherent Doppler wind lidar system is set up to carry out corresponding experimental verification.The experimental results are consistent with the theoretical analysis and simulation,which verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis and simulation results.It provides theoretical basis and practical ex-perience for the design of laser transmitting pulse in coherent Doppler wind lidar system.REN Yong WU Xuefei TAO Fa CAO Haishuai 2022Instrumentation2022,9,2:4

3Computer simulation studies on the interactions between nanoparticles and cell membrane显示文摘In recent times,nanoparticles(NPs)have received intense attention not only due to their potential applications as a candidate for drug delivery,but also because of their undesirable effects on human health.Although extensive experimental studies have been carried out in literature in order to understand the interaction between NPs and a plasma membrane,much less is known about the molecular details of the interaction mechanisms and pathways.As complimentary tools,coarse grained molecular dynamics(CGMD)and dissipative particle dynamics(DPD)simulations have been extensively used on the interaction mechanism and evolution pathway.In the present review we summarize computer simulation studies on the NP-membrane interaction,which developed over the last few years,and particularly evaluate the results from the DPD technique.Those studies undoubtedly deepen our understanding of the NP-membrane interaction mechanisms and provide a design guideline for new NPs.TIAN Fa Lin YUE Tong Tao LI Ye ZHANG Xian Ren 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,12:2
4Automatic Identification of Clear-Air Echoes Based on Millimeter-wave Cloud Radar Measurements显示文摘Millimeter-wave cloud radar(MMCR)provides the capability of detecting the features of micro particles inside clouds and describing the internal microphysical structure of the clouds.Therefore,MMCR has been widely applied in cloud observations.However,due to the influence of non-meteorological factors such as insects,the cloud observations are often contaminated by non-meteorological echoes in the clear air,known as clear-air echoes.It is of great significance to automatically identify the clear-air echoes in order to extract effective meteorological information from the complex weather background.The characteristics of clear-air echoes are studied here by combining data from four devices:an MMCR,a laser-ceilometer,an L-band radiosonde,and an all-sky camera.In addition,a new algorithm,which includes feature extraction,feature selection,and classification,is proposed to achieve the automatic identification of clear-air echoes.The results show that the recognition algorithm is fairly satisfied in both simple and complex weather conditions.The recognition accuracy can reach up to 95.86%for the simple cases when cloud echoes and clear-air echoes are separate,and 88.38%for the complicated cases when low cloud echoes and clear-air echoes are mixed.Ling YANG Yun WANG Zhongke WANG Qian YANG Xingang FAN Fa TAO Xiaoqiong ZHEN Zhipeng YANG 2020Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,8:2

20Influence of road types on road traffic accidents in northern Guizhou Province,China显示文摘Purpose The increasing number of deaths due to road traffic accidents(RTAs)has attracted global attention.However,the influence of road types is rarely considered in the study of RTAs.This study evaluates the influence of different road types in RTAs in northern Guizhou to provide a basis for the formulation of evidence-based policies and measures.Methods We obtained the data from the Zunyi Traffic Management Data Platform for the years 2009–2018.The mortality rates of RTAs were calculated.Descriptive methods and Chi-square tests were used to analyze the characteristics of road traffic collisions on different road types.We also examined the associations between the mortality rate per 10,000 vehicles and the growth of per capital gross domestic product(GDP)with Spearman’s rank correlation analysis.According to the passing volume and the infrastructure,we defined different types of roads,like administrative road,functional road,general urban road and urban expressway.Results In 2012,the traffic mortality rate of administrative roads was 8.9 per 100,000 people,and the mortality rate of functional roads was 7.4 per 100,000 people,which decreased in 2018 to 6.1 deaths per 100,000 people and 5.2 deaths per 100,000 people,respectively.The mortality rate per 10,000 vehicles reached the highest level in 2011(28.8 per 10,000 vehicles and 22.5 per 10,000 vehicles on administrative and functional roads,respectively).The death rate of county roads was the highest among administrative roads(χ^(2)=17.389,p<0.05)and that of fourth-class roads was the highest among functional roads(χ^(2)=21.785,p<0.05).The mortality rate per 10,000 vehicles was negatively correlated with per capital GDP.Conclusion Although our research shows that RTAs in northern Guizhou have steadily declined in recent years,the range of decline is relatively small.Many measures and sustainable efforts are needed to control road traffic death and accelerate the progress in road traffic safety in northern Guizhou.Tian-Jing Sun Si-Jia Liu Fa ng-Ke Xie Xiao-Fei Huang Jian-Xiu Tao Yuan-Lan Lu Tian-Xi Zhang An-Yong Yu 2021Chinese Journal of Traumatology2021,24,1:0
