1Geminivirus satellite-encoded βC1 activates UPR,induces bZIP60 nuclear export,and manipulates the expression of bZIP60 downstream genes to benefit virus infection显示文摘UPR is a conserved response in eukaryotes and can alleviate endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stresses induced by abiotic and biotic stresses.The interactions between UPR and plant RNA viruses have been documented,while the interplays between UPR and plant DNA viruses remain unknown.Using tomato yellow leaf curl China virus(TYLCCNV)and its associated betasatellite(TYLCCNB)as a model,we indicate that TYLCCNBβC1 is a major inducer of UPR and can upregulate the expression of b ZIP60,a transcription factor in Nicotiana benthamiana plants.Treatment using ER stress inducers or overexpression of Nbb ZIP60 increasesβC1 accumulation and benefits TYLCCNV/TYLCCNB infection in N.benthamiana plants,and vice versa.In the TYLCCNV/TYLCCNB-infected or theβC1-expressing cells,Nbb ZIP60 is exported from the nucleus to the nuclear periphery via the XPO1 pathway,and blocking the XPO1 pathway inhibited TYLCCNV/TYLCCNB infection.We have found that the Nbb ZIP60-regulated pro-survival genes could promote virus infection,and the pro-death gene plays a contrasting role in virus infection.This study reveals that geminivirus infection activates UPR and utilizes the up-regulated molecular chaperons to promote viral infection,and then induces the nuclear export of Nbb ZIP60 to evade plant defense response,which is a distinct virulence strategy exploited by plant pathogens.Mingzhen Zhang Buwei Cao Hui Zhang Zaifeng Fan Xueping Zhou Fangfang Li 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,6:1
2Study on the Purification Effect of Phosphorus in Sewage from Sediments in Coastal Wetland of Yellow River Delta显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to explore whether the coastal wetlands in the Yellow River Delta have become secondary pollution sources. [Methods] With a coastal reed wetland in the Yellow River Delta as a research object, the SMT method and DGT technology were combined to study the vertical distribution of different forms of phosphorus in the sediment and the distribution characteristics of phosphorus at the sediment-interstitial/overlying water interface of the wetland to clarify the receiving and purification capabilities of wetlands in this region. [Results] The total phosphorus content in the wetland’s water intake area, dense reed area and water outlet area increased with the depth increasing;and the wetland phosphorus accumulated in the deep layer, and the total phosphorus content in the wetland sediments was as high as 936.30 mg/kg. The research on the phosphorus forms in the wetland sediments found that the content of Ca phosphorus was the highest in the wetland sediments, followed by the content of Fe/Al-bonded phosphorus, and the exchangeable phosphorus content was the lowest. The DGT sampling technology was used to investigate the distribution characteristics of phosphorus at wetland sediment-interstitial/overlying water micro-interface. It was found that the concentrations of phosphorus in the overlying water of the water intake area, dense reed area and water outlet area were significantly higher than that in the interstitial water. The wetland pollution level in this research area was high and had an obvious cumulative effect. [Conclusions] The results show that the wetland sediments in this region have a strong ability to retain phosphorus, and can control the migration and transformation of endogenous phosphorus, and the wetland has not become a secondary pollution source.Xueping LI Yanhui FAN 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,1:1

8Efficacy of Danlou Tablet in the Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease with Phlegm and Blood Stasis Syndrome and Its Effects on Serum Inflammatory Factors显示文摘[Objectives] To explore the efficacy of Danlou Tablet( DLT) in the treatment of coronary heart disease( CHD) with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome and its effects on serum inflammatory factors. [Methods]One hundred and ninety-seven patients with CHD and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome in our hospital from January 2016 to January 2018 were selected and randomly divided into two groups: control group( n =98) treated with aspirin plus atorvastatin,and research group( n =99) treated with DLT and aspirin plus atorvastatin for one month. The clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions were observed. Serum secretory phospholipase A2( s PLA2),lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2( LP-PLA2),oxidized low-density lipoprotein( ox-LDL),monocyte chemoattractant protein-1( MCP-1) and World Health Organization Quality of Life( WHOQOL-100) scores were compared before and after one month of treatment. [Results] The total effective rate was93. 94% in the research group,which was higher than that in the control group( 79. 59%,P < 0. 05);the levels of serum s PLA2,LP-PLA2,ox-LDL and MCP-1 in the research group were lower than those in the control group after one month of treatment( P < 0. 05). There was no statistical significance of the difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the research group and the control group( P > 0. 05).After one month of treatment,WHOQOL-100 scores were higher in two groups,which were higher in the research group than that in the control group( P < 0. 05). 10Study on Coconut Shell Activated Carbon Temperature Swing Adsorption of Benzene and Formaldehyde显示文摘Adsorption can be used to recover effectively the volatile organic gases(VOCs)in the exhaust gas from factories through using an appropriate adsorption bed.Due to form a physical or chemical bond,adsorption occurs between the porous solid medium and the liquid or gas multi component fluid mixture.The regeneration capa-city of the adsorbent is as important as the adsorption capacity and it determines the economics of the adsorption system.The regeneration of adsorbent can be realized through changing the pressure or temperature of the system.Here,activated carbon samples from coconut shell were prepared and characterized.Benzene or formal-dehyde in the mixed air was used as the adsorption object,and the adsorption experiment was carried out in a U-shaped bed.Discussed how adsorption was affected by activated carbon type,adsorbate and temperature.The results show that oxidation modifed activated carbon can increase the adsorption effect of form aldehyde,but will reduce the ad sorption effect of benzene,because their ad sorption mechanism is different.At 30℃,the saturated adsorption apacity of AC-0 for benzene is 437.0 mg/g.and that of AC-1 for formaldehyde is 670.5 mg/g.In the experimental range,it is found that the adsorption capacity increases with the decrease of temperature,and their changes are very consistent with the ftted ExpDecay1 function.Zhiguang Yang Gaojun Yan Xueping Liu Zhengyuan Feng Xinfeng Zhu Yanli Mao Songtao Chen Zhisheng Yu Ruimei Fan Linlin Shan 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,12:0

12Identification of terrigenous and autochthonous organic carbon in sediment cores from cascade reservoirs in the upper stream of Pearl River and Wujiang River,southwest China:lignin phenol as a tracer显示文摘Organic carbon(OC)source attribution for cascade reservoir sediments has been identified as a critical gap in understanding the effective carbon sink of inland waters.In this study,nine sediment cores were collected from cascade reservoirs in the Wujiang and Pearl Rivers.We analyzed lignin phenol(Λ8),total organic carbon(TOC)content,and stable carbon isotopic composition(δC)of the sediments,focusing on the changes of terrigenous OC,and the variation of OC source in cascade reservoir sediments after damming.Our results showed that theΣ8 and TOC contents decreased from upstream to downstream reservoirs,indicating the significant interception of terrigenous OC by cascade damming.Additionally,theΛ8 content in the Pearl River reservoir sediments was much higher than that in the Wujiang River.From the three-end-member mixing model,we estimated that OC in reservoir sediments mainly comes from soil and plankton.After damming,the proportion of plankton OC in TOC slightly increased in seasonal and annual regulation reservoirs due to the limnetic evolution of the reservoir.These findings suggest that the cascade damming increases the interception capacity of the river to terrigenous OC and nutrients,and that slowing of water velocity caused by damming affected primary productivity and fluvial carbon cycling.Li Gao Xin Lin Jun Fan Ming Yang Xueping Chen FushunWang Jing Ma 2022Acta Geochimica2022,41,5:0
