| 1 | Effect of rGO Coating on Interconnected Co_3O_4 Nanosheets and Improved Supercapacitive Behavior of Co_3O_4/rGO/NF Architecture显示文摘In this study, the effect of reduced graphene oxide(rGO) on interconnected Co_3O_4 nanosheets and the improved supercapacitive behaviors is reported. By optimizing the experimental parameters, we achieved a specific capacitance of ~1016.4 F g^(-1) for the Co_3O_4/rGO/NF(nickel foam) system at a current density of 1 A g^(-1). However, the Co_3O_4/NF structure without rGO only delivers a specific capacitance of ~520.0 F g^(-1)at the same current density. The stability test demonstrates that Co_3O_4/rGO/NF retains ~95.5% of the initial capacitance value even after 3000 charge–discharge cycles at a high current density of 7 A g^(-1). Further investigation reveals that capacitance improvement for the Co_3O_4/rGO/NF structure is mainly because of a higher specific surface area(~87.8 m^2g^(-1))and a more optimal mesoporous size(4–15 nm) compared to the corresponding values of 67.1 m^2g^(-1) and 6–25 nm,respectively, for the Co_3O_4/NF structure. rGO and the thinner Co_3O_4 nanosheets benefit from the strain relaxation during the charge and discharge processes, improving the cycling stability of Co_3O_4/rGO/NF. | Tinghui Yao Xin Guo Shengchun Qin Fangyuan Xia Qun Li Yali Li Qiang Chen Junshuai Li Deyan He | 2017 | Nano-Micro Letters2017,9,4: | 8 |
| 2 | Crystal structure of plant PLDα1 reveals catalytic and regulatory mechanisms of eukaryotic phospholipase D显示文摘Phospholipase D(PLD)hydrolyzes the phosphodiester bond of glycerophospholipids and produces phosphatidic acid(PA),which acts as a second messenger in many living organisms.A large number of PLDs have been identified in eukaryotes,and are viewed as promising targets for drug design because these enzymes are known to be tightly regulated and to function in the pathophysiology of many human diseases.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms of catalysis and regulation of eukaryotic PLD remain elusive.Here,we determined the crystal structure of full-length plant PLDα1 in the apo state and in complex with PA.The structure shows that the N-terminal C2 domain hydrophobically interacts with the C-terminal catalytic domain that features two HKD motifs.Our analysis reveals the catalytic site,substrate-binding mechanism,and a new Ca2+-binding site that is required for the activation of PLD.In addition,we tested several efficient small-molecule inhibitors against PLDα1,and suggested a possible competitive inhibition mechanism according to structure-based docking analysis.This study explains many long-standing questions about PLDs and provides structural insights into PLD-targeted inhibitor/drug design. | Jianxu Li Fang Yu Hui Guo Renxue Xiong Wenjing Zhang Fangyuan He Minhua Zhang Peng Zhang | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Gold nanoparticle-directed autophagy intervention for antitumor immunotherapy via inhibiting tumor-associated macrophage M2 polarization显示文摘Tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs),one of the dominating constituents of tumor microenvironment,are important contributors to cancer progression and treatment resistance.Therefore,regulation of TAMs polarization from M2 phenotype towards M1 phenotype has emerged as a new strategy for tumor immunotherapy.Herein,we successfully initiated antitumor immunotherapy by inhibiting TAMs M2 polarization via autophagy intervention with polyethylene glycol-conjugated gold nanoparticles(PEG-Au NPs).PEG-Au NPs suppressed TAMs M2 polarization in both in vitro and in vivo models,elicited antitumor immunotherapy and inhibited subcutaneous tumor growth in mice.As demonstrated by the m RFP-GFP-LC3 assay and analyzing the autophagy-related proteins(LC3,beclin1 and P62),PEGAu NPs induced autophagic flux inhibition in TAMs,which is attributed to the PEG-Au NPs induced lysosome alkalization and membrane permeabilization.Besides,TAMs were prone to polarize towards M2phenotype following autophagy activation,whereas inhibition of autophagic flux could reduce the M2polarization of TAMs.Our results revealed a mechanism underlying PEG-Au NPs induced antitumor immunotherapy,where PEG-Au NPs reduce TAMs M2 polarization via induction of lysosome dysfunction and autophagic flux inhibition.This study elucidated the biological effects of nanomaterials on TAMs polarization and provided insight into harnessing the intrinsic immunomodulation capacity of nanomaterials for effective cancer treatment. | Siyue Zhang Fangyuan Xie Kaichun Li He Zhang You Yin Yuan Yu Guangzhao Lu Shihao Zhang Yan Wei Ke Xu Yan Wu Hong Jin Lan Xiao Leilei Bao Can Xu Yulin Li Ying Lu Jie Gao | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,7: | 2 |
| 4 | Bifunctional flexible electrochromic energy storage devices based on silver nanowire flexible transparent electrodes显示文摘Flexible electrochromic energy storage devices(FECESDs)for powering flexible electronics have attracted considerable attention.Silver nanowires(AgNWs)are one kind of the most promising flexible transparent electrodes(FTEs)materials for the emerging flexible devices.Currently,fabricating FECESD based on AgNWs FTEs is still hindered by their intrinsic poor electrochemical stability.To address this issue,a hybrid AgNWs/Co(OH)_(2)/PEDOT:PSS electrode is proposed.The PEDOT:PSS could not only improve the resistance against electrochemical corrosion of AgNWs,but also work as functional layer to realize the color-changing and energy storage properties.Moreover,the Co(OH)_(2)interlayer further improved the color-changing and energy storage performance.Based on the improvement,we assembled the symmetrical FECESDs.Under the same condition,the areal capacitance(0.8 mF cm^(−2))and coloration efficiency(269.80 cm^(2)C−1)of AgNWs/Co(OH)_(2)/PEDOT:PSS FECESDs were obviously higher than AgNWs/PEDOT:PSS FECESDs.Furthermore,the obtained FECESDs exhibited excellent stability against the mechanical deformation.The areal capacitance remained stable during 1000 times cyclic bending with a 25 mm curvature radius.These results demonstrated the broad application potential of the AgNWs/Co(OH)_(2)/PEDOT:PSS FECESD for the emerging portable and multifunctional electronics. | He Zhang Fangyuan Sun Ge Cao Dongyan Zhou Guofan Zhang Jiayun Feng Shang Wang Fengyu Su Yanqing Tian Yan Jun Liu Yanhong Tian | 2023 | International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2023,5,1: | 1 |
| 5 | InP-based directly modulated monolithic integrated few-mode transmitter显示文摘A monolithic integrated few-mode transmitter comprising of two directly modulated distributed feedback lasers and a multimode-interference-coupler-based mode converter-multiplexer with 66% mode conversion efficiency was designed and demonstrated. A fundamental TE0 mode and a first-order TE1 mode were successfully generated from the transmitter, with the output power of 4 and 5.5 mW at a pump current of around 150 mA, respectively,at the common output port. The small signal modulation bandwidth of the TE0 and TE1 channels reached 17.4 and 14.7 GHz, respectively.
