| 1 | Clinical study of paclitaxel plus cisplatin in the treatment of recurrent cervical cancer显示文摘Objective: To observe the efficacy and toxicities of paclitaxel plus cisplatin in the treatment of recurrent cervical cancer. Methods: Twenty-three patients with a diagnosis of recurrent cervical cancer were eligible. Three-weekly chemo- therapy regimen consisted of paclitaxel 135–150 mg/m2 infusion for 3 h on day 1, cisplatin 25 mg/m2 infusion on day 1 to 3. All patients received at least two cycles treatment. Results: The response rates was 47.8%, including CR 2 cases (8.7%), PR 9 cases (39.1%). The major toxicity included neutropenia, nausea vomiting, arthralgia, myalgia and alopecia. | 2 | Reconstructing the flux-rope topology using the FOTE method显示文摘With high-resolution data of the Magnetospheric Multiscale(MMS) mission, we observe a magnetic flux rope(MFR) in the Earth's magnetosheath. This MFR, showing a clear bipolar variation of the magnetic field in the normal component to local current sheet, contains a strong core field. We use the FOTE method to reconstruct the topology of this MFR and find it is consistent with previous expectation. For the first time, the spiral field and core field of the MFR are both revealed from the FOTE method. Comparing topologies reconstructed at different times, we suggest that the axis of the MFR rotates about 88° at different spatial location. Shape and size of the normal projection to axis vary with the spatial location as well. | 3 | Heating of heavy oil by circulating hot water in closed double casing in ultra-deep wells显示文摘In heavy oil production,the loss of energy to ambient surroundings decreases the temperature of the heavy oil flowing upwards in a vertical wellbore,which increases the oil viscosity and the oil may not flow normally in the wellbore.Therefore,it is necessary to lower the heavy oil viscosity by heating methods to allow it to be lifted easily.Heating of heavy oil in an oil well is achieved by circulating hot water in annuli in the well(tubing-casing annulus,casing-casing annulus).In this paper,based on heat transfer principles and fluid flow theory,a model is developed for produced fluids and hot water flowing in a vertical wellbore.The temperature and pressure of produced fluids and hot water in the wellbore are calculated and the effect of hot water on heavy oil temperature is analyzed.Calculated results show that the hot water circulating in the annuli may effectively heat the heavy oil in the tubing,so as to significantly reduce both oil viscosity and resistance to oil flow. | Lin Riyi Wang Fangzheng Wang Xinwei | 2012 | Petroleum Science2012,9,4: | 1 |

| 10 | Scientific objectives of the Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) mission显示文摘The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) is a proposed space-based X-ray telescope for detecting X-ray emissions from the hot gas content in our universe. With its unprecedented spatially-resolved high-resolution spectroscopy and large field of view,the HUBS mission will be uniquely qualified to measure the physical and chemical properties of the hot gas in the interstellar medium, the circumgalactic medium, the intergalactic medium, and the intracluster medium. These measurements will be valuable for two key scientific goals of HUBS, namely to unravel the AGN and stellar feedback physics that governs the formation and evolution of galaxies, and to probe the baryon budget and multi-phase states from galactic to cosmological scales. In addition to these two goals, the HUBS mission will also help us solve some problems in the fields of galaxy clusters, AGNs, difuse X-ray backgrounds, supernova remnants, and compact objects. | 13 | Interannual evolution of the chemical composition,sources and processes of PM_(2.5)in Chengdu,China:Insights from observations in four winters显示文摘The air quality in China has improved significantly in the last decade and,correspondingly,the characteristics of PM_(2.5)have also changed.We studied the interannual variation of PM_(2.5)in Chengdu,one of the most heavily polluted megacities in southwest China,during the most polluted season(winter).Our results show that the mass concentrations of PM_(2.5)decreased significantly year-by-year,from 195.8±91.0μg/m~3in winter 2016 to 96.1±39.3μg/m^(3)in winter 2020.The mass concentrations of organic matter(OM),SO_()4^(2-),NH_(4)^(+)and NO_(3)^(-)decreased by 49.6%,57.1%,49.7% and 28.7%,respectively.The differential reduction in the concentrations of chemical components increased the contributions from secondary organic carbon and NO_(3)^(-)and there was a larger contribution from mobile sources.The contribution of OM and NO_(3)^(-)not only increased with increasing levels of pollution,but also increased year-by-year at the same level of pollution.Four sources of PM_(2.5)were identified:combustion sources,vehicular emissions,dust and secondary aerosols.Secondary aerosols made the highest contribution and increased year-by-year,from 40.6%in winter 2016 to 46.3% in winter 2020.By contrast,the contribution from combustion sources decreased from 14.4% to 8.7%.Our results show the effectiveness of earlier pollution reduction policies and emphasizes that priority should be given to key pollutants(e.g.,OM and NO_(3)^(-))and sources(secondary aerosols and vehicular emissions)in future policies for the reduction of pollution in Chengdu during the winter months. | Junke Zhang Jiaqi Li Yunfei Su Chunying Chen Luyao Chen Xiaojuan Huang Fangzheng Wang Yawen Huang Gehui Wang | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4: | 0 |

| 16 | Real-time probabilistic sediment concentration forecasting using integrated dynamic network and error distribution heterogeneity显示文摘Sediment forecasting at a dam site is important for the operation and management of water and sediment in a reservoir. However, the forecast results generally have some uncertainties, which may hinder the operation of the dam. In this study, a real-time sediment concentration probabilistic forecasting model is proposed based on a dynamic network model. Under this framework, the Elman neural network(ENN) and nonlinear auto-regressive with exogenous inputs(NARX) neural network models were established for sediment concentration forecasting with different lead times. A hybrid algorithm, which combined the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm and real-time recurrent learning, was used to train the model. Using the aforementioned method, the sediment concentration was forecast for at the Sanmenxia Dam, China, and, subsequently, the forecast results were evaluated. Among the selected lead time, the results at 5 h exhibited the highest accuracy and practical significance. Compared with the ENN model,the sediment concentration peak error using the NARX neural network was reduced by 4.5%, and the sediment yield error was reduced by 0.043%. Therefore, the NARX neural network was selected as the deterministic sediment forecasting model. Additionally, the probability density function of the sediment concentration was derived based on the heterogeneity of the error distribution, and the sediment concentration interval, with different confidence levels, expected values, and median values, was forecast. The Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient of efficiency for the sediment concentration, as forecasted based on the median value, was the highest(0.04 higher than that using a deterministic model), whereas the error of the sediment concentration peak and sediment yield remained unaltered. | 17 | Hemodynamic improvement by right ventricular septal pacing in elderly patients with chronic atrial fibrillation and slow ventricular response显示文摘Background and objectives Right ventricular apical (RVA) pacing has been reported impairing left ventricular (LV)performance. Alternative pacing sites in right ventricle (RV) has been explored to obtain better cardiac function. Our study was designed to compare the hemodynamic effects of right ventricular septal (RVS) pacing with RVA pacing. Methods Ten elderly patients with chronic atrial fibrillation (AF) and long RR interval or slow ventricular response (VR) received VVI pacing. The hemodynamic difference between RVS and RVA pacing were examined by transthoracic echocardiography (TTE). Results Pacing leads were implanted successfully at the RVA and then RVS in all patients without complication. The left ventricular (LV) parameters,measured during RVA pacing including left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), FS, stroke volume (SV) and peak E wave velocity (EV) were decreased significantly compared to baseline data, while during RVS pacing, they were significantly better than those during RVA pacing. However, after 3-6 weeks there was no statistical significant difference between pre- and post- RVS pacing.Conclusions The LV hemodynamic parameters during RVA pacing were significantly worse than baseline data. | 18 | Determination of the optimal atrioventricular and interventricular delays in cardiac resynchronization therapy显示文摘In order to provide the maximum benefit of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), we tried to use an echocardiography method to optimize the atrioventricular and interventricular delay. Methods The study included 6 patients who underwent implantation of biventricular pacemakers for drug-resistant heart failure. Two-dimensional echocardiography and tissue Doppler imaging were carried out before and after the pacemaker implantation. The optimal AV delay was defined as the AV delay resulting in maximum timevelocity integral (TVI) of transmitral filling flow, the longest left ventricular filling time (LVFT) and the minimum mitral regurgitation(MR). The optimal VV delay was defined as the VV delay producing the maximum LV synchrony and the largest aortic TVI. Results CRT was successfully performed in all patients. After pacemaker implantation, an acute improvement in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was observed from 26.5% to 35%. Meanwhile, the QRS duration decreased from 170ms to 150ms. The optimal AV delay was programmed at 130, 120, 120, 120, 150 and 110ms respectively with heart rate corrected, LVFT significantly lengthened and TVI of MR decreased (non-optimal vs optimal AV delay: LVFT: 469ms vs 523ms; TVI of MR: 16.43cm vs 13.06cm, P<0.05). The optimal VV delay was programmed at 4, 4, 4, 8, 12 and 8ms with LV preactivation respectively. Programming the optimal VV delay increased the aortic TVI from 17.33cm up to 21.42cm (P<0.05). In the septal and lateral wall, peak systolic velocities improved from2.70cm/s to 3.02cm/s (P>0.05) and froml.31cm/s to 2.50cm/s (P<0.05) respectively. The septal-to-lateral delay in peak velocity improved from 56.4ms to 13.3ms after CRT (P<0.01). Conclusions Optimization of AV and VV delays may further enhance the efficacy of CRT. | 19 | Epithermal Gold Mineralization in Chinese Tianshan Province显示文摘Tianshan is a part of the complex system of orogenic belts of Phanerozoic in Central Asia. In the northwestern Chinese Tianshan, Borohoro range, the major metallogenic belt in this area is situated between the Yili block and Keguqinshan-Sairim uplift. The intra-arc basins resulting from southward subduction of the Junggar plate and accompanying volcanism are the essential factors for the formation of the hydrothermal system that caused gold mineralization. The adularia-sericite-style epithermal Arxi gold deposit formed in an extensional tectonic setting. In the eastern Tianshan, post-orogenic magmatism resulted in a hydrothermal system that produced the epithermal Xitan gold deposit.
