| 2 | Regioselective oxidation of tetracycline by permanganate through alternating susceptible moiety and increasing electron donating ability显示文摘Permanganate has attracted much attention in wide range of chemistry and particularly in degradation of environmental pollutants.However,few studies have discussed the feature of regioselective reactivity of permanganate with specific moiety of the target compound.Herein,we studied the reaction between permanganate and tetracycline that is an emerging micropollutant with different species containing several electron-rich groups.The second-order rate constants increased from 6.0 to 9.0 and could be quantitatively modeled by considering the speciation of both reactants,yielding kTC0=11.7(mol/L)^-1 sec^-1,kTC-=35.7(mol/L)^-1 sec^-1,kTC2-=43.1(mol/L)^-1 sec^-1 for individual reaction channels.Degradation products were then identified as the hydroxylated and demethylated compounds.The result suggested a rate-limiting step of simple hydroxylation at the phenolic and/or alkene moieties,while the demethylation should be caused by the unavoidably formed manganese oxide via single electron oxidation.This is supported by the DFT calculation,indicating the primary oxidation of phenolic group of TC0 with activation barrier of 44.5 kcal/mol and of alkene group of TC-and TC2-with activation barriers of 44.0 and 43.4 kcal/mol,respectively.This is in agreement with the experimental results,implying the alternation of regioselectivity associated with the deprotonation process.The result was further supported by performing the Fukui function and electrostatic potential analysis,reflecting the more probable site and better electron donating tendency beneficial to the permanganate oxidation. | Xiaohua Jiang William AJefferson Dean Song Hanyang Cheng Fengmin Li Zhimin Qiang Aiqian Zhang Huijuan Liu Jiuhui Qu | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1: | 1 |

| 4 | Photoluminescence Characterization of NASICON Material显示文摘Besides gas sensitivity,NASICON (Na super ion conductor) material has luminescence characterization.In this paper,the photoluminescence properties of NASICON and doped-NASICON material are investigated.The NASICON material was synthesized by conventional sol-gel process,and doped with Er_2O_3,Tm_2O_3,Dy_2O_3,CsCl by 1%,3%,5% (mass ratio),respectively.The ultraviolet light (325 nm,He-Cd laser) excited luminescent emissions of the resulted powders are recorded vs.wavelength in the 330 nm to 650 nm range.The main peak of the pure NASICON is found at the wavelength of 474 nm (blue light),the transition energy is 2.616 eV.The luminescent intensity is weakened obviously after doping with Er_2O_3 and Tm_2O_3,but is increased after doping with Dy_2O_3 and 3% CsCl. | Yuehua He Baofu Quan Ying Wang Chuanhui Cheng Fengmin Liu Biao Wang | 2006 | 稀有金属材料与工程2006,35,A03: | 1 |

| 6 | 14 μm quantum cascade lasers based on diagonal transition and nonresonant extraction显示文摘We report In P-based room-temperature high-average-power quantum cascade lasers emitting at 14 μm. Using a novel active region design, a diagonal bound-to-bound lasing transition is guaranteed by efficient electron injection into the upper laser level and fast nonresonant electron extraction through a miniband from the lower laser level. For a 4 mm long and 40 μm wide double channel ridge waveguide laser with 55 stages of the active region, the threshold current density is only 3.13 k A∕cm^2 at room temperature. At 293 K, the maximum singlefacet peak power and average power are up to 830 m W and 75 m W, respectively. | 10 | Dual-mode distributed feedback quantum cascade laser based on stacked 3D monolithic integration for on-chip multi-channel gas sensing显示文摘To facilitate the development of on-chip integrated mid-infrared multi-channel gas sensing systems,we propose a high-power dual-mode(7.01 and 7.5μm)distributed feedback quantum cascade laser based on stacked 3D monolithic integration.Longitudinal mode control is achieved by preparing longitudinal nested bi-periodic compound one-dimensional Bragg gratings along the direction of the cavity length in the confinement layer.Additionally,transverse coherent coupling ridges perpendicular to the cavity length direction are fabricated in the upper waveguide layer to promote the fundamental transverse mode output when all ridges are in phase.Stable dual-wavelength simultaneous emission with a side-mode suppression ratio of more than 20 dB was achieved by holographic exposure and wet etching.The entire spectral tuning range covers nearly 100 nm through joint tuning of the injection current and heat-sink temperature.High peak power and beam quality are guaranteed by the parallel coherent integration of seven-element ridge arrays.The device operates in a fundamental supermode with a single-lobed far-field pattern,and its peak output power reaches 3.36 W in pulsed mode at 20℃.This dual-mode laser chip has the potential for in-situ on-chip simultaneous detection of CH4and C2H6gases in leak monitoring. | XIYU LU YANJIAO GUAN PENGCHANG YANG SHAN NIU YU MA LIJUN WANG NING ZHUO JINCHUAN ZHANG SHENQIANG ZHAI FENGMIN CHENG SHUMAN LIU FENGQI LIU JUNQI LIU | 2023 | Photonics Research2023,11,12: | 0 |
