3Rapid detection of aflatoxin B_(1) in paddy rice as analytical quality assessment by near infrared spectroscopy显示文摘A rapid identification method for aflatoxin B_(1) in paddy rice samples was developed by using near infrared spectroscopy under a wavelength range of 1000-2500 nm.Eighty paddy rice samples were collected from both natural and artificial infection with aflatoxin B_(1) to build the calibration models based on the partial least square regression method.The best predictive model to detect aflatoxin B_(1) in paddy rice was obtained using standard normal variate detrending spectra,with a correlation of 0.850,and a standard error of prediction of 3.211%.Therefore,the result showed that near infrared spectroscopy could be a useful instrumental method for determining aflatoxin B_(1) in paddy rice.The near infrared spectroscopy methodology can be applied to the monitoring of aflatoxin fungal contamination in postharvest paddy rice during storage and may become a powerful tool for the safety of grain and grain products.Zhang Qiang Jia Fuguo Liu Chenghai Sun Jingkun Zheng Xianzhe 2014International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,4:3

7Prediction method for nutritional quality of Korla pear during storage显示文摘It is difficult to control the quality of Korla pear with different degrees of maturity during storage.Here,a method was proposed for predicting the effects of harvest maturity and cold storage time on the quality indices(soluble solid content(SSC)and Vitamin C(Vc)content)of Korla pear.The generalized regression neural network(GRNN)and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS)were employed to predict the quality changes of Korla fragrant pear fruit during storage.The results demonstrated that during cold storage the SSC in pears with 10%-70%harvest maturity showed continuous increases in the first 90 d of storage and then a slight decline thereafter,while that in pears with 80%and 90%harvest maturity exhibited slow decreases throughout the storage process.With the extension of storage time,the Vc content of pears with 10%-90%harvest maturity showed continuous decreases.The harvest maturity of Korla pear was extremely positively correlated with SSC and Vc content(p<0.01)in a given storage period.Storage time showed an extremely significant negative correlation with the Vc content(p<0.01)at the 40%-90%harvest maturity and an significant negative correlation with the Vc content(p<0.05)at the 10%-30%harvest maturity.At the 10%-70%harvest maturity,storage time showed a significant positive correlation with the SSC(p<0.05).The trained model could well predict the variation trend of quality indices of pear fruit during storage.The ANFIS with the input membership function of gbellmf had the best performance in predicting the SSC(RMSE=0.175;R2=0.98),and that with the input membership function of trimf exhibited the best performance in predicting Vc content(RMSE=0.075;R2=0.99).The research findings can provide reference for predicting the fruit nutritional quality at delivery and decision-making on the storage time of Korla fragrant pear.Yang Liu Qiang Zhang Hao Niu Hong Zhang Haipeng Lan Yong Zeng Fuguo Jia 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,3:1

14Genome-wide association study (GWAS) of leaf wax components of apple显示文摘The wax layer of apple leaves plays an important role in improving stress resistance,but relatively little is known about the mechanisms of wax synthesis and transport in apple leaves.In this study,17 wax components,including alcohols,alkanes,fatty acids and terpenes,were analyzed by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(GCMS)from the leaves of 123 apple germplasms.Whole-genome sequencing of these apple accessions yielded 5.9 million high-quality single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs).We performed a genome-wide association study(GWAS)on 17 wax components and identified several genes related to wax synthesis and transport,including MdSHN1(SHINE1),MdLTP4(LIPID TRANSFER PROTEIN4),MdWSD1(WAX ESTER SYNTHASE/ACYL-COA DIAC-YLGLYCEROL ACYLTRANSFERASE1),MdRDR1(RNA-DEPENDENT RNA POLYMERASE1),MdACBP6(ACYL-COA-BINDING PROTEIN6),MdNLE(NOTCHLESS)and MdABCG21(ATP-BINDING CASSETTE G21).Moreover,we identified some prominent SNPs that may affect gene expression and protein function.These results provide insights into mechanisms of wax synthesis and transport in apple leaves and broaden the genetic resources and basis for facilitating resistance breeding.Fuguo Cao Zhongxing Li Lijuan Jiang Chen Liu Qian Qian Feng Yang Fengwang Ma Qingmei Guan 2021Stress Biology2021,1,1:0
15A crosslinked polymer as dopant-free hole-transport material for efficient n-i-p type perovskite solar cells显示文摘A new crosslinked polymer,called P65,with appropriate photo-electrochemical,opto-electronic,and thermal properties,has been designed and synthesized as an efficient,dopant-free,hole-transport material(HTM)for n-i-p type planar perovskite solar cells(PSCs).P65 is obtained from a low-cost and easily synthesized spiro[fluorene-9,90-xanthene]-30,60-diol(SFX-OH)-based monomer X65 through a freeradical polymerization reaction.The combination of a three-dimensional(3 D)SFX core unit,holetransport methoxydiphenylamine group,and crosslinked polyvinyl network provides P65 with good solubility and excellent film-forming properties.By employing P65 as a dopant-free hole-transport layer in conventional n-i-p type PSCs,a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of up to 17.7%is achieved.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first time a 3 D,crosslinked,polymeric dopant-free HTM has been reported for use in conventional n-i-p type PSCs.This study provides a new strategy for the future development of a 3 D crosslinked polymeric dopant-free HTM with a simple synthetic route and low-cost for commercial,large-scale applications in future PSCs.Linqin Wang Fuguo Zhang Tianqi Liu Wei Zhang Yuanyuan Li Bin Cai Lanlan He Yu Guo Xichuan Yang Bo Xu James M.Gardner Lars Kloo Licheng Sun 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:0
16Influences of pre-torsion deformation on microstructure and mechanical properties of pure titanium subjected to subsequent tension deformation显示文摘A series of experimental studies was carried out to investigate the influences of pretorsion on microstructure evolution, mechanical properties, and fracture appearance of pure titanium subjected to subsequent tension deformation. An introduction of pre-torsion strain can improve the materials' mechanical properties through micro hardness evaluation. That is, the micro hardness of tensile samples with pre-torsion deformation is much higher than that of samples processed by single torsion or tension. It can be seen from the microstructure that pre-torsion deformation can be used to refine grains better and control grains' morphology by combining subsequent tension. The results indicate that the grains are refined most evidently for tensile samples with 2 turn pre-torsion deformation. Moreover, fracture analysis indicates that tensile samples with pre-torsion strain can present good comprehensive performance. 17Recent progress of the effect of environmental factors on Aspergillus flavus growth and aflatoxins production on foods显示文摘The contamination of Aspergillus flavus and subsequent aflatoxins(AFs)has been considered as one of the most serious food safety problems due to their acute and chronic adverse effects on humans and animals.This review collects the available information from recent years on the effect of the major environmental factors such as water activity(a_(w)),temperature,CO_(2),and pH on the fungal growth,the expression of AFs-related genes,and AFs production by A.flavus on foods.In particular,the relationship between the relative expression of key regulatory(aflR and aflS)and structural genes(aflD,aflO,aflQ,etc.)and AFs production under different environmental conditions are collected and discussed.The information collected in this review can be used to design control strategies of A.flavus and AFs contamination in practical applications,primarily during storage and processing.These data suggest that integrating various post-harvest methods with synergistic functions may be more efficient for the control of A.flavus growth and AFs production,although the individual environmental factors alone have an impact.Bowen Tai Jinghua Chang Yang Liu Fuguo Xing 2020Food Quality and Safety2020,4,1:0

19Pickering emulsions stabilized by biocompatible particles:A review of preparation,bioapplication,and perspective显示文摘The phenomenon of adsorption of solid particles at fluid interfaces to stabilize emulsions or foams have been known for more than a century.Today,particle-stabilized emulsions,often referred to as Pickering emulsions,are receiving growing attention as they are encountered in oil recovery and have long been used in personal care products and food industry.Over the past 10 years the focus of the Pickering emulsion has also increasingly shifted to biomedical applications with thanks to novel syntheses of a wide range of biocompatible particle stabilizers.Here,a brief overview of the development of biocompatible particles is given for Pickering emulsion stabilization,including alginate,poly(lactic-co-gIycolic acid)(PLGA),and protein-based particles.The materials prepared by templating from emulsion stabilized with biocompatible particles include colloidal capsules and hierarchically porous materials.It is hoped that the understanding gained from the recent intense activity in the field will enable more researchers to modify existing materials and design new formulations,which would be beneficial for exploring more biological applications.Tong Zhang Fuguo Liu Jie Wu To Ngai 2022Particuology2022,20,5:0
20Advances in chemokines of teleost fish species显示文摘In mammals,chemokines are a superfamily of cytokines that regulate cell migration or exert direct antimicrobial activity.The presence and organization of four invariant cysteine residues within the mature protein sequence can classify chemokines into four major subfamilies:CXC,CC,CX_(3)C,and XC.In teleost,a novel subfamily of chemokines named CX has been identified.Since the first report of a CC chemokine(CK1)in rainbow trout in 1998,the number of identified chemokine genes in different fish species has expanded dramatically.In this paper,we reviewed the chemokine genes that have been identified so far in teleost fish and their tissue expressions and responses post-stimulation.We also discussed the functions of fish chemokines based on currently available information and compared them to human chemokines.Additionally,we predicted the structures of trout chemokines for the first time,and we found that the structures of trout chemokines share significant similarities.Finally,the adjuvant effects of fish chemokines in aquaculture were also reviewed.Overall,this review will give us a better understanding of the chemokines of teleost fish.Hongsen Xu Fuguo Liu 2024Aquaculture and Fisheries2024,9,2:0
