Influence of microwave treatment under a hydrogen or methane atmosphere on the flotability of the macerals in Shenfu coals显示文摘The modification of Shenfu coals by a microwave treatment carried out under a hydrogen or a methane atmosphere, and the subsequent maceral separation by flotation, are described in this paper. The surface contact angle and the Zeta potential of the coal macerals were measured both with and without the treat- ment. The results show that the surface wettability of SFF (Shenfu Fusain) and SFV (Shenfu Vitrain) can be changed by the microwave treatment. An increase in the difference in surface wettability of SFF and SFV causes in a subsequent increase in the enrichment of inertinite and vitrinite. The results of the Zeta potential measurements show that the surface potentials of SFF and SFV are also changed by the treatment.Zhao Wei Yang Fusheng Li Yuangang Qu Jianlin Zhou Anning 2011Mining Science and Technology2011,21,6:15
Strain hardening behavior of Mg-Y alloys after extrusion process显示文摘The strain hardening is an effective mode of enhancing mechanical properties in alloys. In this work, the strain hardening behaviors of Mg-xY(x=1,2,and 3 wt%)after extrusion process was investigated using uniaxial tensile tests. Results suggest that the Mg-xY alloys are composed ofα-Mg with a little amount of Mg24Y5 phase. The average grain size reduces from 19.8μm to 12.2μm as the Y content adds from 1 wt%to 2 wt%.Nevertheless, when Y content reaches 3 wt%,the grain size reaches to 12.9μm,which is close to that of Mg-2Y.The strain hardening rate decreases from 883 MPa to 798 MPa at(σ-σ0.2)=40 MPa,and Mg-2Y and Mg-3Y have the similar strain hardening response.Moreover,Mg-1Y shows an obvious ascending stage after the steep decreasing stage, which is mainly caused by the activation of twinning. The strain hardening behavior of Mg-xY is explained based on understanding the roles of the deformation mechanisms via deformation microstructure analysis and Visco-Plastic Self Consistent(VPSC)model. The variation of strain hardening characteristics with increasing Y content is related to the effects of grain size and texture.Chaoyue Zhao Ziyan Li Jiahui Shi Xianhua Chen Teng Tu Zhu Luo Renju Cheng Andrej Atrens Fusheng Pan 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4:6
Influence of extrusion conditions on microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr magnesium alloy显示文摘In general, different extrusion conditions will affect the microstructure of magnesium alloys and further determine the mechanical properties. The effects of extrusion parameters and heat treatment processes such as extrusion speed,pre-forging,annealing time, extrusion ratio and cooling rate on the microstructure, texture evolution and tensile properties of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloys were investigated in this study.Compared with the as-cast alloy, the extrusion process significantly refines the grains and exhibit the rare earth texture. With the increase of extrusion speed and annealing time, the growth of recrystallized grains is accelerated, leading to the increase of elongation.Large pre-forging deformation achieves to refine the grains by promoting recrystallization nucleation, resulting in increased strength of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloy.Decreasing the extrusion ratio or increasing the cooling rate will introduce coarse un-DRXed grains, which transformed the texture into the basal texture. In particular, the effect of rapid cooling on refining the recrystallized grains is also obvious.Different extrusion conditions influence the mechanical properties of the Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloy through the grain size, proportion of non-recrystallization region and texture type.Tianshuo Zhao Yaobo Hu Chao Zhang Bing He Tianxu Zheng Aitao Tang Fusheng Pan 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,2:4
Strain hardening of as-extruded Mg-xZn(x=1, 2, 3 and 4 wt%) alloys显示文摘The influence of Zn on the strain hardening of as-extruded Mg-x Zn(x = 1, 2, 3 and 4 wt%) magnesium alloys was investigated using uniaxial tensile tests at 10^(-3)s^(-1) at room temperature. The strain hardening rate, the strain hardening exponent and the hardening capacity were obtained from true plastic stress-strain curves. There were almost no second phases in the as-extruded Mg-Zn magnesium alloys. Average grain sizes of the four as-extruded alloys were about 17.8 μm. With increasing Zn content from 1 to 4 wt%, the strain hardening rate increased from 2850 MPa to 6810 MPa at(б-б_(0.2)) = 60 MPa, the strain hardening exponent n increased from 0.160 to 0.203, and the hardening capacity, Hc increased from 1.17 to 2.34.The difference in strain hardening response of these Mg-Zn alloys might be mainly caused by weaker basal texture and more solute atoms in the α-Mg matrix with higher Zn content.Chaoyue Zhao Xianhua Chen Fusheng Pan Jingfeng Wang Shangyu Gao Teng Tu Chunquan Liu Jiahao Yao Andrej Atrens 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,1:4
Enhanced mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets by continuous bending process after V-bending显示文摘The effects of V-bending process, continuous bending process and combination process on the microstructure and mechanical properties and formability of an AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet were investigated. The experimental results showed that no twins were found in the microstructure of all samples after processes due to the fine grain. The V-bending and continuous bending processes were proved to be an effective approach to modify the mechanical properties and formability. While the samples after the combination process exhibited better mechanical properties and formability than the single processed sample. The yield strength significantly decreased with the value of 100 MPa and the fracture elongation enhanced to 18.3% at room temperature. The Erichsen value was 5.0 mm which was significantly increased by 117% compared with as-received sample. The superior formability of combination processed samples was mainly attributed to the smaller r-value and n-value.Tingzhuang Han Guangsheng Huang Yougen Wang Guangang Wang Yanchun Zhao Fusheng Pan 2016Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2016,26,1:4
Freestanding polypyrrole nanotube/reduced graphene oxide hybrid film as flexible scaffold for dendrite-free lithium metal anodes显示文摘Lithium metal anode is the most potential anode material for the next generation high-energy rechargeable batteries owing to its highest specific capacity and lowest redox potential.Unfortunately, the uneven deposition of Li during plating/stripping and the formation of uncontrolled Li dendrites, which might cause poor battery performance and serious safety problems, are demonstrating to be a huge challenge for its practical application. Here,we show that a flexible and free-standing film hybriding with polypyrrole(PPy) nanotubes and reduced graphene oxide(rGO) can significantly regulate the Li nucleation and deposition, and further prohibit the formation of Li dendrites, owing to the large specific surface area, rich of nitrogen functional groups and porous structures. Finally, the high Coulombic efficiency and stable Li plating/stripping cycling performance with 98% for 230 cycles at 0.5 mA cm^(-2) and more than 900 hours stable lifespan are achieved. No Li dendrites form even at a Li deposition capacity as high as4.0 mA h cm^(-2).Besides,the designed PPy/rGO hybrid anode scaffold can also drive a superior battery performance in the lithium-metal full cell applications.Gan Luo Xiaolin Hu Wei Liu Guanjie Lu Qiannan Zhao Jie Wen Jian Liang Guangsheng Huang Bin Jiang Chaohe Xu Fusheng Pan 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:3
Acetytation of ACAP4 regutates CCL18-elicited breast cancer cell migration and invasion显示文摘Tumor metastasis represents the main causes of cancer-related death. Our recent study showed that chemokine CCL18 secreted from tumor-associated macrophages regulates breast tumor metastasis, but the underlying mechanisms remain less clear. Here, we show that ARF6 GTPase-activating protein ACAP4 regulates CCL18-elicited breast cancer cell migration via the acetyltransferase PCAF-mediated acetylation.CCL18 stimulation elicited breast cancer cell migration and invasion via PCAF-dependent acetylation.ACAP4 physically interacts with PCAF and is a cognate substrate of PCAF during CCL18 stimulation. The acetylation site of ACAP4 by PCAF was mapped to Lys311 by mass spectrometric analyses.Importantly, dynamic acetylation of ACAP4 is essential for CCL18-induced breast cancer cell migration and invasion,as overexpression of the persistent acetylation-mimicking or nonacetylatable ACAP4 mutant blocked CCL18-elicited cell migration and invasion.Mechanistically, the acetylation of ACAP4 at Lys311 reduced the lipid-binding activity of ACAP4 to ensure a robust and dynamic cycling of ARF6-ACAP4 complex with plasma membrane in response to CCL18 stimulation. Thus, these results present a previously undefined mechanism by which CCL18-elicited acetylation of the PH domain controls dynamic interaction between ACAP4 and plasma membrane during breast cancer cell migration and invasion.Xiaoyu Song Wei Liu Xiao Yuan Jiying Jiang Wanjuan Wang McKay Mullen Xuannv Zhao Yin Zhang Fusheng Liu Shihao Du Adeel Rehman Ruijun Tian Jian Li Andra Frost Zhenwei Song Hadiyah-Nicole Green Calmour Henry Xing Liu Xia Ding Dongmei Wang Xuebiao Yao 2018Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2018,10,6:3
Broadband photodetector of high quality SbS nanowire grown by chemical vapor deposition显示文摘Low dimensional semiconductors can be used for various electronic and optoelectronic devices because of their unique structure and property. In this work,one-dimensional Sb2 S3 nanowires(NWs)with high crystallinity were grown via chemical vapor deposition(CVD)technique on SiO2/Si substrates. The Sb2 S3 NWs exhibited needle-like structures with inclined cross-sections.The lengths of Sb2S3 nanowires changed from 7 to 13μm.The photodetection properties of Sb2 S3 nanowires were comprehensively and systematically characterized. The Sb2S3 photodetectors show a broadband photoresponse ranging from ultraviolet(360 nm)to near-infrared(785 nm).An excellent specific detectivity of 2.1×10^(14)Jones,high external quantum efficiency of 1.5×10^(4)%,sensitivity of 2.2×10^(4)cm^(2)W^(-1)and short response time of less than 100 ms was achieved for the Sb2 S3 NW photodetectors. Moreover, the Sb2S3 NWs showed outstanding switch cycling stability that was beneficial to the practical applications. The high-quality Sb2S3 nanowires fabricated by CVD have great application potential in semiconductor and optoelectronic fields.Kun Ye Bochong Wang Anmin Nie Kun Zhai Fusheng Wen Congpu Mu Zhisheng Zhao Jianyong Xiang Yongjun Tian Zhongyuan Liu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,16:3
The tribological behavior of a surface-nanocrystallized magnesium alloy AZ31 sheet after ultrasonic shot peening treatment显示文摘A magnesium alloy AZ31 sheet was processed by ultrasonic shot peening treatment to fabricate a surface nanocrystalline, and a ball-on-disk dry sliding wear test was performed to evaluate the tribological behavior after treatment. The microstructure observation indicated a gradient nanocrystalline structure was formed after USSP treatment. The microhardness at the top surface was improved from 60 HV to 145 HV after treatment. The formed nanocrystalline resulted in an easy formation of MgO patches on the surface and reduced the coefficient of friction. Moreover, the formed nanocrystalline leaded to a retard of delamination with increasing the sliding speed and applied load, which was due to its stronger sub-surface.Under high sliding speed(0.5 m/s)and high applied load(50 N),it was firstly found that the formed nanocrystalline prevented the happening of thermal softening and melting. The possible reasons accounting for the prevention of thennal softening and melting were discussed accordingly.Jianyue Zhang Yongxin Jian Xuzhe Zhao Dean Meng Fusheng Pan Qingyou Han 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,4:3
Novel Mg-Bi-Mn wrought alloys:The effects of extrusion temperature and Mn addition on their microstructures and mechanical properties显示文摘Designing and developing the Mg alloys with low cost and high performance is of the great significance.Novel Mg-1Bi-xMn(x=0,1and 2 wt.%)extruded alloys,in this work, were fabricated at different extrusion temperatures(220,250 and 300℃).The effects of extrusion temperature and Mn addition on the microstructures and mechanical properties of extruded alloys at room temperature were investigated. The results showed that decreasing the extrusion temperature could refine the average grain size, weaken the basal fiber texture intensity and improve the microstructural homogeneity of extruded alloys. When the Mn element was added to the Mg-1Bi alloy, the average grain size further reduced.Simultaneously, the number fraction of low angle grain boundaries(LAGBs)increased, along with the occurrence of regions without dynamic recrystallization(unDRX).The combined effects of grain refinement and coarse unDRXed structure made the textures of the extruded Mg-1Bi-xMn alloys never obviously change.Besides few large size un-dissolved second phases, fine Mg_(3)Bi_(2) and α-Mn phases were precipitated in the extruded Mg-1Bi-xMn alloys and partial nano-scaleα-Mn particles pined at grain boundaries(GBs)to effectively impede the migration of GBs for grain refinement.Microstructural variations determined the extruded Mg-1Bi-2Mn alloy to exhibit the highest yield strength of~319.2 MPa with the appropriate elongation-to-failure of~13%at the extrusion temperature of 220℃,and they enabled the extruded Mg-1Bi-1Mn alloy to show the highest elongation-to-failure of~26%without the obvious loss of yield strength of~252.1 MPa.Qinghang Wang Haowei Zhai Lintao Liu Hongbo Xia Bin Jiang Jun Zhao Daolun Chen Fusheng Pan 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,9:2
Co-transplantation of Schwann cells and bone marrow stromal cells versus single cell transplantation on repairing hemisected spinal cord injury of rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) or Schwann cells (SCs) transplantation alone can treat spinal cord injury. However, the transplantation either cell-type alone has disadvantages. The co-transplantation of both cells may benefit structural reconstruction and functional recovery of spinal nerves. OBJECTIVE: To verify spinal cord repair and related mechanisms after co-transplantation of BMSCs and SCs in a rat model of hemisected spinal cord injury. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at the Department of Histology and Embryology, Mudanjiang Medical College from January 2008 to May 2009. MATERIALS: Rabbit anti-S-100, glial fibrillary acidic protein, neuron specific enolase and neurofilament-200 monoclonal antibodies were purchased from Sigma, USA. METHODS: A total of 100 Wistar rats were used in a model of hemisected spinal cord injury. The rats were randomly assigned to vehicle control, SCs transplantation, BMSCs transplantation, and co-transplantation groups; 25 rats per group. At 1 week after modeling, SCs or BMSCs cultured in vitro were labeled and injected separately into the hemisected spinal segment of SCs and BMSCs transplantation groups through three injection points [5 μL (1 × 107 cells/mL)] cell suspension in each point). In addition, a 15 μL 1 × 107 cells/mL SCs suspension and a 15 μL 1 × 107 cells/mL BMSC suspension were injected into co-transplantation group by the above method. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan (BBB) locomotor rating scale and somatosensory evoked potential (SEP) tests were used to assess the functional recovery of rat hind limbs following operation. Structural repair of injured nerve tissue was observed by light microscopy, electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In vivo differentiation, survival and migration of BMSCs were evaluated by immunofluorescence. RESULTS: BBB scores were significantly greater in all three transplantation groups compared with vehicle control group 8 weeks after transplantation. In particular, the co-transplantation group displayed the highest scores among the groups (P < 0.05). Moreover, recovery of SEP latency and amplitude was observed in all the transplantation groups, particularly after 8 weeks. Again, the co-transplantation group exhibited the greatest improvement (P < 0.05). In the co-transplantation group, imaging showed a smooth surface and intact inner structure at the injury site, with no scar formation, and a large number of orderly cells at the injured site. Axonal regeneration, new myelination, and a large amount of cell division were detected in the co-transplantation group by electron microscopy. Neuron specific enolase (NSE)- and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP)-positive cells were observed in the spinal cord sections 1 week following co-transplantation by immunofluorescence staining. CONCLUSION: Co-transplantation of SCs and BMSCs effectively promoted functional recovery of injured spinal cord in rats compared with SCs or BMSCs transplantation alone. This repair effect is probably achieved because of neuronal-like cells derived from BMSCs to supplement dead neurons in vivo.Jifei Zhang Geng Wu Fusheng Zhao Xiudong Jin 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,11:2
LW-NIR hyperspectral imaging for rapid prediction of TVC in chicken flesh显示文摘Total viable count(TVC)is often used as an important indicator for chicken freshness evaluation. In this study,112 fresh chicken flesh samples were acquired after slaughtered and their hyperspectral images were collected in the LW-NIR(900-1700 nm)range. The full LW-NIR spectra(486 wavebands)within the images were extracted and applied to related to reference TVC values measured in different storage periods, using partial least squares regression(PLSR)algorithm, resulting in high correlation coefficients(R)and low root mean square errors(RMSE),for either raw spectra or pretreatment spectra.By using regression coefficients(RC)method,20,18,17 and 20 optimal wavebands were respectively selected from raw spectra, baseline correction(BC)spectra,Savitzky-Golay convolution smoothing(SGCS)spectra and standard normal variate(SNV)spectra and applied for the optimization of original full waveband PLSR model.By comparison,RC-PLSR model based on the SGCS spectra showed a better performance in TVC prediction with RC of 0.98 and RMSEC of 0.35 log10 CFU/g in calibration set,and RP of 0.98 and RMSEP of 0.44 log10 CFU/g in prediction set.At last,by transferring the best RC-PLSR model, the dynamic TVC change during the storage was visualized by color maps to indicate the TVC spoilage degree. The overall study revealed that LW-NIR hyperspectral imaging combined with PLSR could be used to predict the freshness of chicken flesh.Hui Wang Hongju He Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Zhuangli Kang Mingming Zhu Zhengrong Wang Shengming Zhao Rongguang Zhu 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,3:2
Quick assessment of chicken spoilage based on hyperspectral NIR spectra combined with partial least squares regression显示文摘Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae are dominant spoilage bacteria in chicken during cold storage(0°C-4°C).In this study, high resolution spectra in the range of 900-1700 nm were acquired and preprocessed using Savitzky-Golay convolution smoothing(SGCS),standard normal variate(SNV)and multiplicative scatter correction(MSC),respectively, and then mined using partial least squares(PLS)algorithm to relate to the total counts of Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae(PEC)of fresh chicken breasts to predict PEC rapidly. The results showed that with full 900-1700 nm range wavelength,MSC-PLS model built with MSC spectra performed better than PLS models with other spectra(RAW-PLS,SGCS-PLS,SNV-PLS),with correlation coefficient(RP)of 0.954,root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.396 log10 CFU/g and residual predictive deviation(RPD)of 3.33 in prediction set.Based on the 12 optimal wavelengths(902.2 nm,905.5 nm,923.6 nm,938.4 nm,946.7 nm,1025.7 nm,1124.4 nm,1211.6 nm,1269.2 nm,1653.7 nm,1691.8 nm and 1693.4 nm)selected from MSC spectra by successive projections algorithm(SPA),SPA-MSC-PLS model had RP of 0.954,RMSEP of 0.397 log10 CFU/g and RPD of 3.32,similar to MSC-PLS model. The overall study indicated that NIR spectra combined with PLS algorithm could be used to detect the PEC of chicken flesh in a rapid and non-destructive way.Shengqi Jiang Hongju He Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Baocheng Xu Hong Liu Mingming Zhu Zhuangli Kang Shengming Zhao 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1:2
Role and mechanism of radiological protection cream in treating radiation dermatitis in rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the role and mechanism of a radiation protection cream(Rp) in the treatment of radiation dermatitis, and to accumulate necessary technical information for a new drug report on Rp.METHODS: High-performance liquid chromatography was used to establish the method of measuring the main effective ingredients of sovereign and adjuvant herbs of Rp drugs, and to formulate the draft quality standards of Rp. A total of 48Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly divided into the Model,Trolamine cream(Tc), Rp and Blank groups according to a random number table method. The skin of each rat's buttocks was irradiated using an electron linear accelerator to establish an acute radiation dermatitis model. The histological changes were observed under light microscopy and electron microscopy during wound healing and the effect of Rp on rat fibroblast Ku70/80 gene expression was detected at the transcriptional level.RESULTS: Pathological examination revealed that Rp protected the cellular and subcellular structures of skin after irradiation, promoting the proliferation and restoration of collagen fibers. Ku70/80 mRNA expression levels in the Rp and Tc groups were higher than that in the model group(P<0.05).Moreover,The majority of grade radiation dermatitis relative to the Model, Rp and Tc groups for reducing grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ dermatitis efficiency were 85.7%and 69.2%(P<0.05), respectively. The efficacy of Rp group in treating radiation dermatitis was better than the Trolamine cream group by16.5%(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Compared with Tc, Rp had certain advantages in the efficacy and performance to price ratio. Thus, Rp is considered an effective alternative formulation for the prevention and treatment of radiation dermatitis.Guohong Zu Yan Dou Qingfen Tian Houwei Wang Weichong Zhao Fusheng Li 2014Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,3:2
Effects of Y and Zn additions on electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of Mg-Y-Zn alloys显示文摘Microstructure, electrical conductivity, and electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding effectiveness(SE) of cast Mg-x Zn-y Y(x = 2–5, y = 1–10) alloys were systematically investigated to understand the effects of Zn and Y additions on electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the alloys.Experimental results indicate that the electrical conductivity and SE of the Mg-x Zn-y Y alloys decrease with Y/Zn ratio. Electrical conductivity is the main factor that affects the electromagnetic shielding properties and the variation tendency of electromagnetic shielding properties of the Mg-x Zn-y Y alloys is consistent with conductivity. Valence of Y and Zn atoms, configuration of extranuclear electron and volumetric difference are main reasons for the variations in the electrical conductivity. A high density of second phase and the formation of semi-continuous network structure can also improve the SE value at high frequencies.Lizi Liu Xianhua Chen Jingfeng Wang Liying Qiao Shangyu Gao Kai Song Chaoyue Zhao Xiaofang Liu Di Zhao Fusheng Pan 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,6:2

Grain size dependence of annealing strengthening of an extruded Mg-Gd-Zn alloy subjected to pre-compression deformation显示文摘In this work, pre-strain annealing strengthening(PSAS) effect was investigated in an extruded Mg-1.0Gd-1.5 Zn(wt.%) alloy with respect to different grain sizes. The evolution of microstructures was provided by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy(HAADF-STEM) under the initial state, pre-compression, intermediate annealing and re-compression conditions. The obtained results showed a grain size-dependent PSAS effect in the alloy. The sample with larger grain sizes corresponded to a higher strengthening effect, which mainly resulted from a more remarkable hindrance for the growth of existing twins and a larger proportion of activation for the nucleation of new twins. This was closely associated with the increase of back stress and friction stress for twin boundary motion impeded by the larger restraint of dislocations, the higher stress field surrounding solutes and the more Zn segregation. In addition to twinning behavior, Guinier Preston(G.P.) zones on basaldislocations were found after intermediate annealing and provided an extra strengthening by inhibiting the motions of gilding pre-existing dislocations and newly formed ones, but it was independent on the grain size.Qinghang Wang Siyuan Chen Bin Jiang Zhaoyang Jin Lingyu Zhao Junjie He Dingfei Zhang Guangsheng Huang Fusheng Pan 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,12:1

Symptom characteristics and prevalence of qi deficiency syndrome in people of varied health status and ages: A multicenter cross-sectional study显示文摘Objective:Aging caused by a deficiency syndrome can be found in ancient and modern traditional Chinese medicine literature.Qi deficiency syndrome(QDS)is a vital factor in the aging process. This study aimed to establish a full-scale trial to evaluate the prevalence, symptom severity, frequency, and distribution of QDS in different age groups and varying health status to elucidate the role of qi deficiency in the aging process and deterioration of health. Methods:This cross-sectional study was conducted in four hospitals in China, and data from 1220 participants were included. The participants, aged between 20 and 79 years, completed questionnaires that recorded prevalence of QDS and severity or frequency of relevant symptoms, then were interviewed by investigators. We used frequency analysis and chi-squared tests to perform comparative analysis of prevalence in different age and health groups;we used a ranksum tests for quantitative analysis of symptoms severity and frequency scores;we performed a regression analysis of correlation between syndrome occurrence and potential factors using nonconditional binary logistic stepwise regression of numerical variables.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results:Prevalence, symptom severity and frequency scores of QDS showed a rising trend when physical condition worsened, rather than when age increased.Health status, fatigue, shortness of breath or no desire to talk, spontaneous sweating, swollen tongue with teeth marks on side, and deficient and weak pulse, rather than increasing age were contributing factors to this syndrome.Distribution of QDS in certain health and age stages showed remarkable irregularities. Conclusions:Qi deficiency may be a contributing factor for sub-health(sub-optimal health)and chronic diseases rather than aging. It may play a crucial role in chronic disease pathogenesis of young and middle-aged people, and in sub-health pathogenesis of older adults.Recognition of the warning signs and symptoms of QDS may lead to early intervention and prevention of subhealth, and chronic diseases.Yin Zhang Li Zhang Xia Zhao Yue Liu Shiyu Du Jian Li Ting Liu Fusheng Liu Zeqi Su Yuyong Jiang Xia Ding 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2015,2,3:1
The design of Co_(3)S_(4)@MXene heterostructure as sulfur host to promote the electrochemical kinetics for reversible magnesium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The rechargeable Mg-S batteries are attractive because of their resource abundances of Mg and S,high volumetric energy density, and less dendrite property of Mg anodes. However, the development is barred by the intrinsic low electronic conductivity of S and the discharge products as well as the lack of understanding the hidden electrochemical kinetics. Here,a Co_(3)S_(4)@MXene heterostructure is proposed as effective sulfur host for reversible Mg-S batteries.XPS results and density functional theory(DFT)calculation confirm that the chemical interaction between the decorated Co_(3)S_(4)nanocrystals host and polysulfide intermediates could well absorb and catalyze the polysulfides conversion, thus improve the electrochemical redox kinetics.Meanwhile, the MXene matrix could promote Mg ion diffusion dynamics greatly. As a result, the developed Mg-S batteries using the Co_(3)S_(4)@MXene-S as the cathode material could demonstrate high sulfur utilization with specific capacity of 1220 mAh g^(-1) and retain a capacity of 528 mAh g^(-1) after 100 cycles, together with a satisfactory rate performance even at 2 C.This work shed light on the advanced cathode design for reversible high energy Mg-S batteries.Qiannan Zhao Ronghua Wang Yuxin Zhang Guangsheng Huang Bin Jiang Chaohe Xu Fusheng Pan 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,1:1
