| 2 | Novel non-invasive biological predictive index for liver fibrosis in hepatitis C virus genotype 4 patients显示文摘AIM To investigate the diagnostic ability of a non-invasive biological marker to predict liver fibrosis in hepatitis C genotype 4 patients with high accuracy.METHODS A cohort of 332 patients infected with hepatitis C genotype 4 was included in this cross-sectional study. Fasting plasma glucose, insulin, C-peptide, and angiotensinconverting enzyme serum levels were measured. Insulin resistance was mathematically calculated using the homeostasis model of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR).RESULTS Fibrosis stages were distributed based on Metavir score as follows: F0 = 43, F1 = 136, F2 = 64, F3 = 45 and F4 = 44. Statistical analysis relied upon reclassification of fibrosis stages into mild fibrosis(F0-F) = 179, moderate fibrosis(F2) = 64, and advanced fibrosis(F3-F4) = 89. Univariate analysis indicated that age, log aspartate amino transaminase, log HOMA-IR and log platelet count were independent predictors of liver fibrosis stage(P < 0.0001). A stepwise multivariate discriminant functional analysis was used to drive a discriminative model for liver fibrosis. Our index used cut-off values of ≥ 0.86 and ≤-0.31 to diagnose advanced and mild fibrosis, respectively, with receiving operating characteristics of 0.91 and 0.88, respectively. | 3 | Adaptive coordination control strategy of renewable energy sources,hydrogen production unit,and fuel celi for frequency regulation of a hybrid distributed power system显示文摘Owing to the significant number of hybrid generation systems(HGSs)containing various energy sources,coordina-tion between these sources plays a vital role in preserving frequency stability.In this paper,an adaptive coordination control strategy for renewable energy sources(RESs),an aqua electrolyzer(AE)for hydrogen production,and a fuel cell(FC)-based energy storage system(ESS)is proposed to enhance the frequency stability of an HGS.In the proposed system,the excess energy from RESs is used to power electrolysis via an AE for hydrogen energy storage in FCs.The proposed method is based on a proportional-integral(Pl)controller,which is optimally designed using a grey wolf optimization(GWO)algorithm to estimate the surplus energy from RESs(ie,a proportion of total power generation of RESs:Kn).The studied HGS contains various types of generation systems including a diesel generator,wind tur-bines,photovoltaic(PV)systems,AE with FCs,and ESSs(e.g.,battery and flywheel).The proposed method varies Kn with varying frequency deviation values to obtain the best benefits from RESs,while damping the frequency fluc-tuations.The proposed method is validated by considering different loading conditions and comparing with other existing studies that consider Kn as a constant value.The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method,which changes Kn value and subsequently stores the power extracted from the RESs in hydrogen energy storage according to frequency deviation changes,performs better than those that use constant Kn.The statistical analysis for frequency deviation of HGS with the proposed method has the best values and achieves large improvements for minimum,maximum,difference between maximum and minimum,mean,and standard deviation compared to the existing method. | Hossam S.Salama Gaber Magdy Abualkasim Bakeer Istvan Vokony | 2022 | Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2022,7,1: | 2 |

| 7 | Highly transmitted silver nanowires-SWCNTs conductive flexible film by nested density structure and aluminum-doped zinc oxide capping layer for flexible amorphous silicon solar cells显示文摘Indium tin oxide(ITO)is widely used in transparent conductive films(TCFs);however,several disadvan-tages,such as high cost and toxicity of indium,limit its applications.Therefore,it is necessary to develop other materials that can replace ITO.Silver nanowires or single walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)have attracted considerable interest owing to their unique electrical,optical,and thermal stabilities,and thus,they are ideal for transparent electrodes for flexible or stretchable devices.In this study,we develop a novel architecture of composite TCFs on a polyethylene naphthalate(PEN)flexible substrate.Herein,the silver nanowires-SWCNTs films with nested density structure were fabricated through ultrasonic spraying technology by varying the spraying width.For achieving enhanced transmittance,we combined the larger irregular grids and holes with fewer nanowires stacked in the longitudinal direction,more optical chan-nels,and good carrier transport.Thereafter,aluminum-doped zinc oxide(AZO)was used as capping to the structure for enhancing the optical properties of the TCFs.The silver nanowires-SWCNTs/AZO(ASA)bilayer was obtained in the optimized architecture,which showed superior optoelectronic performance to that shown by commercial ITO with a high optical transmittance of 92%at the wavelength of 550 nm and low sheet resistance of 17/sq.In the specially structured conductive film,the significant improvement in the transmittance and uniformity of the sheet resistance was attributed to the effective nanowire junc-tion contact compared to that in ordinary structure of silver nanowires,which reduced the mean density of small clusters of nanowires.Compared with the silver nanowires-SWCNTs films,the ASA bilayer film exhibited excellent resistance to boiling,mechanical bending(10,000 cycles),and CO_(2)plasma.Moreover,the sheet resistance of ASA changed slightly after the tape tests,thereby illustrating a strong adhesion to the PEN substrate after the enclosure of AZO.Meanwhile,the AZO capping layer can enhance the op-tical transmittance between 600 and 1500 nm.In addition,the amorphous silicon photovoltaic devices with flexible ASA TCFs exhibited a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 8.67%.After bending for 3000 times,the PCE was decreased to 8.20%,thereby demonstrating the potential of developed films to replace traditional ITO. | Shunliang Gao Xiaohui Zhao Qi Fu Tianchi Zhang Jun Zhu Fuhua Hou Jian Ni Chengjun Zhu Tiantian Li Yanlai Wang Vignesh Murugadoss Gaber A.M.Mersal Mohamed M.Ibrahim Zeinhom M.El-Bahy Mina Huang Zhanhu Guo | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,31: | 2 |
