Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S):an overview显示文摘The Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S)is a mission proposed for the 25 th solar maximum by the Chinese solar community. The scientific objectives are to study the relationships between the solar magnetic field, solar flares and coronal mass ejections(CMEs).Three payloads are deployed:the Full-disk vector Magneto Graph(FMG),the Lyman-αSolar Telescope(LST)and the Hard X-ray Imager(HXI).ASO-S will perform the first simultaneous observations of the photospheric vector magnetic field,non-thermal imaging of solar flares, and the initiation and early propagation of CMEs on a single platform.ASO-S is scheduled to be launched into a 720 km Sun-synchronous orbit in 2022.This paper presents an overview of the mission till the end of Phase-B and the beginning of Phase-C. | Wei-Qun Gan Cheng Zhu Yuan-Yong Deng Hui Li Yang Su Hai-Ying Zhang Bo Chen Zhe Zhang Jian Wu Lei Deng Yu Huang Jian-Feng Yang Ji-Jun Cui Jin Chang Chi Wang Ji Wu Zeng-Shan Yin Wen Chen Cheng Fang Yi-Hua Yan Jun Lin Wei-Ming Xiong Bin Chen Hai-Chao Bao Cai-Xia Cao Yan-Ping Bai Tao Wang Bing-Long Chen Xin-Yu Li Ye Zhang Li Feng Jiang-Tao Su Ying Li Wei Chen You-Ping Li Ying-Na Su Hai-Yan Wu Mei Gu Lei Huang Xue-Jun Tang | 2019 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2019,19,11: | 17
Short-term entecavir versus lamivudine therapy for HBeAg-negative patients with acute-on-chronic hepatitis B liver failure显示文摘BACKGROUND: Selection of drugs for antiviral therapy of patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) remains difficult. This study was undertaken to evaluate the short-term efficacy of entecavir versus lamivudine on hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg)-negative patients with ACLF. METHODS: The data of 182 HBeAg-negative patients with ACLF were retrospectively collected from patient profiles of the hospital. In these patients, 93 HBeAg-negative patients with ACLF were treated orally with 0.5 mg of entecavir and 89 were treated orally with 100 mg of lamivudine every day. The gender and age were matched between the two groups. Biochemical items, the model for end-stage liver disease (MELD) score, and HBV DNA level were matched at baseline between the two groups and monitored during treatment. The 3-month mortalities of the two groups were compared. RESULTS: No significant differences were found in biochemical items, MELD score, and HBV DNA level at baseline (P>0.05). HBV DNA level decreased within 3 months in both groups (P<0.05), regardless of the pretreatment MELD score. In patients with the same range of pretreatment MELD scores, treatment duration, posttreatment HBV DNA levels, percentage of HBV DNA level <2.7 lg copies/mL, biochemical items, MELD scores and 3-month mortality were similar in the two groups (all P>0.05). Pretreatment MELD score was not related to posttreatment HBV DNA levels (P>0.05), but related to a 3-month mortality in both groups (both P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS: In HBeAg-negative patients with ACLF, the short-term efficacy of entecavir versus lamivudine was similar. The degree of pretreatment liver failure significantly affected the outcome of treatment. | Jing Lai Ying Yan Li Mai Yu-Bao Zheng Wei-Qiang Gan Wei-Min Ke | 2013 | Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2013,12,2: | 12
Simulated Microgravity Conditions and Carbon Ion Irradiation Induce Spermatogenic Cell Apoptosis and Sperm DNA Damage显示文摘Objective To investigate the effect of simulated microgravity and carbon ion irradiation(CIR) on spermatogenic cell apoptosis and sperm DNA damage to the testis of male Swiss Webster mice, and assess the risk associated with space environment. Methods Sperm DNA damage indicated by DNA fragmentation index(DFI) and high DNA stainability(HDS) was measured by sperm chromatin structure assay(SCSA).Apoptosis of spermatogenic cells was detected by annexin V-propidium iodide assay.Bax(the expression levels of p53) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) were measured by immunoblotting;p53 and PCNA were located by immunohistology. Results HDS,DFI,apoptosis index, and the expression levels of p53 and Bax were detected to be significantly higher in the experimental groups(P<0.05) compared with those in the control group;however, the PCNA expression varied to a certain degree.p53-and PCNA-positive expression were detected in each group, mainly in relation to the spermatogonic cells and spermatocytes. Conclusion The findings of the present study demonstrated that simulated microgravity and CIR can induce spermatogenic cell apoptosis and sperm DNA damage.Sperm DNA damage may be one of the underlying mechanisms behind male fertility decline under space environment. These findings may provide a scientific basis for protecting astronauts and space traveler's health and safety. | LI Hong Yan ZHANG Hong MIAO Guo Ying XIE Yi SUN Chao DI Cui Xia LIU Yang LIU Yuan Yuan ZHANG Xin MA Xiao Fei XU Shuai GAN Lu ZHOU Xin | 2013 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2013,26,9: | 10

Elevated serum prostaglandin E2 predicts the risk of infection in hepatitis B virus-related acute-on-chronic liver failure patients显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the serum Prostaglandin E2(PGE2) level in Acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF) and determine its predicative value for infection. Methods: From April 2014 to April 2015, ninety-one patients with hepatitis B virus and ACLF but without infection were enrolled into this prospective study that was carried out at our Hospital. Twenty patients with stable chronic hepatitis B were enrolled from the outpatient department and twenty healthy control subjects without any disease were enrolled from hospital staff. Serum PGE2 levels were determined using ELISA at enrollment. Clinical and laboratory parameters were collected. Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were used to determine optimal cut-off values to predict infection. Results: Significantly higher PGE2 levels were found in patients with ACLF in comparison with healthy controls and patients with stable CHB(P < 0.000 1). In ACLF patients, PGE2 levels were significantly higher in patients that eventually developed infection than those without this complication(P < 0.000 1). ROC analysis showed that serum PGE2(area under the ROC curve, 0.83) could predict infection in patients with ACLF with sensitivity of 78.4% and specificity of 81.5% using a threshold of 141 pg/m L.Conclusions: Serum PGE2 is associated with the susceptibility to secondary infections for patients with ACLF. Increased PGE2 serum levels may serve as a potential biomarker for developing infections in ACLF patients. | Xiao-Ping Huang Yan Wang Li Chen Wei Sun Yan Huang Ying Xu Ting-Ting Feng Er-Ping Luo Ai-Lan Qin Wei-Feng Zhao Jian-He Gan | 2017 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2017,10,9: | 8
Metabolomics mechanism of traditional soy sauce associated with fermentation time显示文摘Given that fermentation time has significant impact on quality and flavor of soy sauce,a global understanding of the metabolic mechanism as fermentation time prolonged is essential for producing satisfactory and consistent quality of traditional soy sauce.Herein, the metabolic compounds changes of soy sauce associated with fermentation time up to 10 years were comprehensively investigated by using Chinese traditional fermented soy sauce(CTFSS)as a demonstration. Results showed that formaldehyde nitrogen, total soluble nitrogen(TSN),non-salt soluble solids, amino acids, free 5’-nucleotides and volatile compounds in CTFSS changed obviously during fermentation.Specifically, glutamic acid and aspartic acid were prominent in CTFSS.Continuous decrease in content of hypoxanthine(Hx)was found from 1 M(1-month soy sauce)to7 M(7-months soy sauce).Furthermore,a significant opposite tendency for changes between some volatile compounds and amino acids was indicated that there was a transformation between these two components. Therefore,a better understanding to the influence of fermentation time on soy sauce had been proposed. As the formation and conversion of amino acids and sugars might be mainly responsible for flavor formation in CTFSS,the ratio of these two reactions rate led the metabolism to be divided into three steps, degradation, conversion and balance. | Li Zhu Siyu He Ying Lu Jianhong Gan Ningping Tao Xichang Wang Zaoli Jiang Yuanxiang Hong Changhua Xu | 2022 | Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,2: | 7
Desflurane anesthesia compared with total intravenous anesthesia on anesthesia-controlled operating room time in ambulatory surgery following strabotomy:a randomized controlled study显示文摘Background:Ophthalmic ambulatory surgery is preferred to be performed under general anesthesia either by total intravenous anesthesia(TIVA)or by inhalational anesthesia to increase the patient comfort.However,anesthesia-controlled time(ACT)can cause increased non-operative operating room(OR)time which may adversely affect the ORs efficiency. This study was aimed to compare the ACT of desflurane with that of propofol-remifentanil in strabismus ambulatory surgery. Methods:From November 2016 to December 2017,a total of 200 strabismus patients(aged 18-60 years old,and scheduled for elective ambulatory surgery at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center)were randomly assigned to receive either propofol-based TIVA(group TIVA)or desflurane anesthesia(group DES)for maintenance of anesthesia. The primary outcome was the extubation time.Secondary outcomes included surgical time, anesthetic time,OR exit time, and Phase I and II recovery time. The intraoperative incidences of hypotension, bradycardia and oculocardiac reflex(OCR),and the incidences of any post-operative complications were recorded.Mann-Whitney U test and Chi-square or Fisher exact tests were used to compare the two groups. Results:We found that the extubation time(5.5[3.9-7.0]vs.9.7[8.5-11.4]min,P<0.001)and the incidence of prolonged time to extubation(0 vs.6%,P=0.029)in the DES group were significantly decreased compared with those in the TIVA group. The patients in the DES group displayed shorter OR exit time as compared with that in the TIVA group(7.3[5.5-8.7]vs.10.8[9.3-12.3]min,P<0.001).The patients using desflurane exhibited more stable hemodynamics during surgery than the patients using propofol-based TIVA,as demonstrated by lower incidences of hypotension(1%vs.22%,P<0.001),bradycardia(2%vs.13%,P=0.002),and OCR(17%vs.44%,P<0.001).Conclusion:DES enhanced the ophthalmic OR efficiency by reducing the extubation time and OR exit time, and provided more stable hemodynamics intra-operatively than TIVA in patients undergoing strabismus ambulatory surgery.Trial registration:ClinicalTrials.gov,No.NCT02922660;http://gffzzd3f38a9638994581s0pq50fx5wf6u6055.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/ct2/show/NCT02922660?id=NCT02922660&draw=2&rank=1. | Yan-Ling Zhu Wei-Hua Shen Qian-Ru Chen Hui-Jin Ye Jing-Xia Huang Ying Kang Wei Chi Xiao-Liang Gan | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,7: | 7
Epigenetic regulation of dental pulp stem cells and its potential in regenerative endodontics显示文摘Regenerative endodontics(RE)therapy means physiologically replacing damaged pulp tissue and regaining functional dentin–pulp complex.Current clinical RE procedures recruit endogenous stem cells from the apical papilla, periodontal tissue, bone marrow and peripheral blood, with or without application of scaffolds and growth factors in the root canal space, resulting in cementum-like and bone-like tissue formation.Without the involvement of dental pulp stem cells(DPSCs),it is unlikely that functional pulp regeneration can be achieved, even though acceptable repair can be acquired.DPSCs,due to their specific odontogenic potential, high proliferation, neurovascular property, and easy accessibility, are considered as the most eligible cell source for dentin–pulp regeneration. The regenerative potential of DPSCs has been demonstrated by recent clinical progress.DPSC transplantation following pulpectomy has successfully reconstructed neurovascularized pulp that simulates the physiological structure of natural pulp. The self-renewal,proliferation,and odontogenic differentiation of DPSCs are under the control of a cascade of transcription factors.Over recent decades, epigenetic modulations implicating histone modifications,DNA methylation, and noncoding(nc)RNAs have manifested as a new layer of gene regulation. These modulations exhibit a profound effect on the cellular activities of DPSCs.In this review,we offer an overview about epigenetic regulation of the fate of DPSCs;in particular,on the proliferation, odontogenic differentiation, angiogenesis, and neurogenesis. We emphasize recent discoveries of epigenetic molecules that can alter DPSC status and promote pulp regeneration through manipulation over epigenetic profiles. | Ying Liu Lu Gan Di-Xin Cui Si-Han Yu Yue Pan Li-Wei Zheng Mian Wan | 2021 | World Journal of Stem Cells2021,13,11: | 7
Tetrandrine citrate eliminates imatinib-resistant chronic myeloid leukemia cells in vitro and in vivo by inhibiting Bcr-Abl/β-catenin axis显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the effects of tetrandrine citrate, a novel tetrandrine salt with high water solubility, on the growth of imatinib (IM)-resistant chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in vitro and in vivo, and reveal action molecular mechanisms. Methods:Cell viability in vitro was measured using methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay. CML cell growth in vivo was assessed using a xenograft model in nude mice. Bcr-Abl and β-catenin protein levels were determined using Western blotting. Bcr-Abl messenger RNA (mRNA) was measured by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Flow cytometry (FCM) was used to determine cell cycle status. Results:Tetrandrine citrate inhibited the growth of IM-resistant K562 cells, primary leukemia cells, and primitive CD34 + leukemia cells, and their inhibition concentration that inhibited 50% of target cells (IC 50 ) ranged from 1.20 to 2.97 μg/ml. In contrast, tetrandrine citrate did not affect normal blood cells under the same conditions, and IC 50 values were about 10.12-13.11 μg/ml. Oral administration of tetrandrine citrate caused complete regression of IM-resistant K562 xeno-grafts in nude mice without overt toxicity. Western blot results revealed that treatment of IM-resistant K562 cells with tetrandrine citrate resulted in a significant decrease of both p210 Bcr-Abl and β-catenin proteins, but IM did not affect the Bcr-Abl protein levels. Proteasome inhibitor, MG132, did not prevent tetrandrine-mediated decrease of the p210 Bcr-Abl protein. RT-PCR results showed that tetrandrine treatment caused a decrease of Bcr-Abl mRNA. FCM analysis indicated that tetrandrine induced gap 1 (G 1 ) arrest in CML cells. Conclusions:Tetrandrine citrate is a novel orally active tetrandrine salt with potent anti-tumor activity against IM-resistant K562 cells and CML cells. Tetrandrine citrate-induced growth inhibition of leukemia cells may be involved in the depletion of p210 Bcr-Abl mRNA and β-catenin protein. | Xiao-hua XU Yi-chao GAN Gen-bo XU Ting CHEN Hong ZHOU Jin-fen TANG Ying GU Fei XU Ying-ying XIE Xiao-ying ZHAO Rong-zhen XU | 2012 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2012,13,11: | 7
The Lyman-alpha Solar Telescope(LST) for the ASO-S mission——Ⅲ. data and potential diagnostics显示文摘The Lyman-alpha Solar Telescope(LST)is one of the three payloads onboard the Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S)mission.It aims at imaging the Sun from the disk center up to 2.5 R⊙targeting solar eruptions, particularly coronal mass ejections(CMEs),solar flares,prominences/filaments and related phenomena,as well as the fast and slow solar wind. The most prominent speciality of LST is the simultaneous observation of the solar atmosphere in both Lyαand white light(WL)with high temporospatial resolution both on the solar disk and the inner corona.New observations in the Lyαline together with traditional WL observations will provide us with many new insights into solar eruptions and solar wind.LST consists of a Solar Corona Imager(SCI)with a field of view(FOV)of 1.1–2.5 R⊙,a Solar Disk Imager(SDI)and a full-disk White-light Solar Telescope(WST)with an identical FOV up to 1.2 R⊙.SCI has a dual waveband in Lyα(121.6±10 nm)and in WL(700±40 nm),while SDI works in the Lyαwaveband of 121.6±7.5 nm and WST works in the violet narrow-band continuum of 360±2.0 nm.To produce high quality science data, careful ground and in-flight calibrations are required. We present our methods for different calibrations including dark field correction, flat field correction, radiometry, instrumental polarization and optical geometry.Based on the data calibration, definitions of the data levels and processing procedures for the defined levels from raw data are described.Plasma physical diagnostics offer key ingredients to understand ejecta and plasma flows in the inner corona,as well as different features on the solar disk including flares, filaments, etc. Therefore,we are making efforts to develop various tools to detect the different features observed by LST,and then to derive their physical parameters, for example, the electron density and temperature of CMEs,the outflow velocity of the solar wind, and the hydrogen density and mass flows of prominences.Coordinated observations and data analyses with the coronagraphs onboard Solar Orbiter,PROBA-3,and Aditya are also briefly discussed. | Li Feng Hui Li Bo Chen Ying Li Roberto Susino Yu Huang Lei Lu Bei-Li Ying Jing-Wei Li Jian-Chao Xue Yu-Tong Yang Jie Hong Jian-Ping Li Jie Zhao Wei-Qun Gan Yan Zhang | 2019 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2019,19,11: | 7
Characterizing the antibiotic resistance genes in a river catchment: Influence of anthropogenic activities显示文摘Previous studies on environmental antibiotics resistance genes(ARGs) have focused on the pollution sources such as wastewater treatment plants, aquaculture and livestock farms, etc. Few of them had addressed this issue in a regional scale such as river catchment. Hence, the occurrence and abundances of 23 ARGs were investigated in surface water samples collected from 38 sites which located from the river source to estuary of the Beijiang River.Among them, 11 ARGs were frequently detected in this region and 5 ARGs(sul I, sul II, tet B,tet C, and tet W) were selected for their distribution pattern analysis. The abundances of the selected ARGs were higher in the upstream(8.70 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA) and downstream areas(3.17 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA) than those in the midstream areas(1.23 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA), which was positively correlated to the population density and number of pollution sources. Pollution sources of ARGs along the Beijiang River not only had a great impact on the abundances and diversity, but also on the distribution of specific ARGs in the water samples. Both sul I and sul II were likely originated from aquaculture farms and animal farms, tet W gene was possibly associated with the mining/metal melting industry and the electric waste disposal and tet C gene was commonly found in the area with multiple pollution sources. However, the abundance of tet B was not particularly related to anthropogenic impacts. These findings highlight the influence of pollution sources and density of population on the distribution and dissemination of ARGs at a regional scale. | Haoyu Jiang Renjun Zhou Ying Yang Baowei Chen Zhineng Cheng Mengdi Zhang Jun Li Gan Zhang Shichun Zou | 2018 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,7: | 7

Methods: A multi-center cohort retrospective comparative study of population among 4,895 hysterectomies(3,539 LH vs.1,356 AH) between 2007 and 2013 was involved. Operative time(OT), estimated blood loss(EBL), intra-operative and post-operative complications, passing flatus; days with indwelling catheter, questionnaires covering pelvic floor functions and sexual functions were assessed. Results: The EBL(174.1±157.4 vs. 263.1±183.2 cc, LH and AH groups, respectively), passing flatus(38.7±14.1 vs. 48.1±13.2 hours), days with indwelling catheter(1.5±0.6 vs. 2.2±0.8 days), use of analgesics(6.5% vs. 73.1%), intra-operative complication rate(2.4% vs. 4.1%), post-operative complication rate(2.3% vs. 5.7%), post-operative constipation(12.1% vs. 24.6%), mild and serious stress urinary incontinence(SUI) post-operative(P<0.001; P=0.014), and proportion of Female Sexual Functioning Index(FSFI) total score <26.55 post-operative(P<0.001) of the LH group were significantly less than those of AH group. There wereno significant differences in OT(106.5±34.5 vs. 106.2±40.3 min) between the two groups. Conclusions: LH is a safe and efficient operation for improving patients' long-term quality of life(Qo L), and LH is a cost-effectiveness procedure for treating benign gynecological disease. LH is superior to AH due to reduced EBL, reduced post-operative pain and earlier passing flatus. | Hongying He Zhijun Yang Dingyuan Zeng Jiangtao Fan Xiaoxia Hu Yuan Ye Hua Bai YanmingJiang Zhong Lin Zhiying Lei Xinlin Li Lian Li Jinghua Gan Ying Lan Xiongzhi Tang Danxia Wang Junsong Jiang Xiaoyan Wu Meiying Li Xiaoqing Ren Xiaomin Yang Mei Liu Qinmei Wang Fuyan jiang Li Li | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,2: | 6 |

Effect of the structure of ginsenosides on the in vivo fate of their liposomes显示文摘To utilize themultiple functions and give full play of ginsenosides,a variety of ginsenosides with different structures were prepared into liposomes and evaluated for their effect on the stability, pharmacokinetics and tumor targeting capability of liposomes. The results showed that the position and number of glycosyl groups of ginsenosides have significant effect on the in vitro and in vivo properties of their liposomes. The pharmacokinetics of ginsenosides liposomes indicated that the C-3 sugar group of ginsenosides is beneficial to their liposomes for longer circulation in vivo. The C-3 and C-6 glycosyls can enhance the uptake of their liposomes by 4T1 cells, and the glycosyls at C-3 position can enhance the tumor active targeting ability significantly, based on the specific binding capacity to Glut 1 expressed on the surface of 4T1 cells.According to the results in the study, ginsenoside Rg3 and ginsenoside Rh2 are potential for exploiting novel liposomes because of their cholesterol substitution, long blood circulation and tumor targeting capabilities. The results provide a theoretical basis for further development of ginsenoside based liposome delivery systems. | Chen Chen Jiaxuan Xia Hongwei Ren Anni Wang Ying Zhu Ru Zhang Zicheng Gan Jianxin Wang | 2022 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,2: | 4

Fiber-tip polymer clamped-beam probe for high-sensitivity nanoforce measurements显示文摘Micromanipulation and biological, material science, and medical applications often require to control or measure the forces asserted on small objects. Here,we demonstrate for the first time the microprinting of a novel fiber-tip-polymer clamped-beam probe micro-force sensor for the examination of biological samples. The proposed sensor consists of two bases,a clamped beam, and a force-sensing probe, which were developed using a femtosecond-laser-induced two-photon polymerization(TPP)technique.Based on the finite element method(FEM),the static performance of the structure was simulated to provide the basis for the structural design.A miniature all-fiber micro-force sensor of this type exhibited an ultrahigh force sensitivity of 1.51 nmμN−1,a detection limit of 54.9 nN,and an unambiguous sensor measurement range of~2.9 mN.The Young’s modulus of polydimethylsiloxane,a butterfly feeler, and human hair were successfully measured with the proposed sensor. To the best of our knowledge, this fiber sensor has the smallest force-detection limit in direct contact mode reported to date, comparable to that of an atomic force microscope(AFM).This approach opens new avenues towards the realization of small-footprint AFMs that could be easily adapted for use in outside specialized laboratories. As such,we believe that this device will be beneficial for high-precision biomedical and material science examination, and the proposed fabrication method provides a new route for the next generation of research on complex fiber-integrated polymer devices. | Mengqiang Zou Changrui Liao Shen Liu Cong Xiong Cong Zhao Jinlai Zhao Zongsong Gan Yanping Chen Kaiming Yang Dan Liu Ying Wang Yiping Wang | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,9: | 3
Optimization of Ex-Situ Washing Removal of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons from a Contaminated Soil Using Nano-Sulfonated Graphene显示文摘Ex-situ soil washing technology offers advantages such as speed and efficiency of remediation and range of application and has been developed to conform with legal requirements and best management practices in USA and some European countries. In this study,nano-sulfonated graphene(SGE) was used as a washing agent to evaluate different processing(washing) parameters for the ectopic leaching removal of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) from a coking plant soil. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) were used to analyze the characteristics of the SGE tested. The results showed that SGE had a strong adsorption capacity for PAHs through the role of π-π, H-π, and anion-π interactions. The washing parameters, an SGE concentration of 2 000 mg L^(-1), a liquid/soil(L/S) ratio of 10:1, and 4 cycles of successive washing, were set to arrive to the optimum condition for achieving more than 80% of PAH removal. Under the optimum condition, the PAH removal rate decreased with increasing ring numbers. After one washing cycle at SGE concentration of 2 000 mg L^(-1) and L/S ratio of 10:1, the PAH removal rate of the SGE tested was much higher than that of Tween 80(TW80) or methyl-β-cyclodextrin(MCD)(P < 0.01). Therefore, SGE is a promising material for the nanoremediation of PAH-contaminated soils. | GAN Xinhong TENG Ying REN Wenjie MA Jun Peter CHRISTIE LUO Yongming | 2017 | Pedosphere2017,27,3: | 3
Adaptive immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection in severe versus mild individuals显示文摘The global Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has affected more than eight million people. There is an urgent need to investigate how the adaptive immunity is established in COVID-19 patients. In this study,we proled adaptive immune cells of PBMCs from recovered COVID-19 patients with varying disease severity using single-cell RNA and TCR/BCR V(D)J sequencing. The sequencing data revealed SARS-CoV-2-specic shufing of adaptive immune repertories and COVID-19-induced remodeling of peripheral lymphocytes.Characterization of variations in the peripheral T and B cells from the COVID-19 patients revealed a positive correlation of humoral immune response and T-cell immune memory with disease severity.Sequencing and functional data revealed SARS-CoV-2-specic T-cell immune memory in the convalescent COVID-19 patients.Furthermore,we also identied novel antigens that are responsive in the convalescent patients.Altogether, our study reveals adaptive immune repertories underlying pathogenesis and recovery in severe versus mild COVID-19 patients, providing valuable information for potential vaccine and therapeutic development against SARS-CoV-2 infection. | Fan Zhang Rui Gan Ziqi Zhen Xiaoli Hu Xiang Li Fengxia Zhou Ying Liu Chuangeng Chen Shuangyu Xie Bailing Zhang Xiaoke Wu Zhiwei Huang | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 3
