| 1 | Exosome-mediated transfer of miR-1290 promotes cell proliferation and invasion in gastric cancer via NKD1显示文摘Currently, exosomes rich in RNAs and proteins are regarded as vital mediators of intercellular communication. Here, we aimed to explore the effects of exosomal miR-1290 in gastric cancer (GC) and understand its mechanism of action on GC progression. We first isolated exosomes from serum samples of GC patients and healthy people and characterized them by transmission electron microscopy. Then, we examined the expression level of miR-1290 contained in the exosomes by quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction and found that exosomal miR-1290 was overexpressed in GC patients and cell lines. Promotion of proliferation, migration, and invasiveness of GC cells was noted after they were incubated with the isolated miR-1290-rich exosomes compared with incubation with a negative control. Furthermore, we predicted that naked cuticle homolog 1 (NKD1) mRNA is a direct target of miR-1290 and confirmed their interaction by a dual luciferase reporter assay. NKD1 overexpression attenuated the stimulatory effects of miR-1290 on GC cells. Collectively, our results suggest that exosomal miR-1290 enhances GC cell proliferation and invasion by targeting NKD1 mRNA and downregulating NKD1 expression. | 2 | Craniocerebral injury promotes the repair of peripheral nerve injury显示文摘The increase in neurotrophic factors after craniocerebral injury has been shown to promote fracture healing. Moreover, neurotrophic factors play a key role in the regeneration and repair of peripheral nerve. However, whether craniocerebral injury alters the repair of peripheral nerve injuries remains poorly understood. Rat injury models were established by transecting the left sciatic nerve and using a free-fall device to induce craniocerebral injury. Compared with sciatic nerve injury alone after 6–12 weeks, rats with combined sciatic and craniocerebral injuries showed decreased sciatic functional index, increased recovery of gastrocnemius muscle wet weight, recovery of sciatic nerve ganglia and corresponding spinal cord segment neuron morphologies, and increased numbers of horseradish peroxidase-labeled cells. | 4 | Growth of 12-inch uniform monolayer graphene film on molten glass and its application in PbI2-based photodetector显示文摘Direct growth of large area uniform graphene on functional insulating materials is essential for engineering versatile applications of graphene. However, the existing synthesis approaches can hardly avoid the generation of non-uniform multilayer graphene along the gas flow direction, affording huge challenges for further scaling up. Herein, by exploiting the molten state of soda-lime glass, we have accomplished the direct growth of large area uniform (up to 30 cm × 6 cm) graphene via a facile chemical vapor deposition route on low cost soda-lime glass. The use of molten glass eliminates the chemically active sites (surface corrugations, scratches, defects), and improves the mobility of carbon precursors, affording uniform nucleation and growth of monolayer graphene. Intriguingly, thus-obtained graphene acts as an ideal coating layer for the surface crystallographic modification of soda-lime glass, making it epitaxy substrates for synthesizing high-quality PbI2 nanoplates and continues films. Accordingly, a prototype photodetector was fabricated to present excellent photoelectrical properties of high responsivity (~ 600 on/off current ratio) and fast response speed (18 μs). | 7 | Optimization of Chinese solar greenhouse building parameters based on CFD simulation and entropy weight method显示文摘The building parameters of Chinese solar greenhouse(CSG)directly affect the front roof lighting and indoor thermal environment.In order to obtain the optimal parameter combination,a building parameter optimization method based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation and entropy weight method was proposed.Firstly,a three-dimensional thermal and humidity environment model of CSG was constructed considering the coupling effect of soil,crop,and back wall based on CFD.The reliability of the model was validated through experiments in a CSG of Yongqing County,Hebei Province of China.Then,the indoor air temperature rise rate,air temperature and humidity uneven coefficient,and average air temperature and humidity were selected as the evaluation indicators of CSG thermal and humidity environment.The ridge height,back wall height and the horizontal projection of back roof of CSG were selected as the three factors of the orthogonal test plan,and a three-factor and four-level plan was designed,resulting in 16 different parameter combinations.By use of CFD simulation,the thermal and humidity environment evaluation indicators under different parameter combinations were calculated.The entropy weight method was used to assign weights to the evaluation indicators,and the comprehensive evaluation indicators of CSG thermal and humidity environment were obtained based on the linear weighting principle.By comparing comprehensive evaluation indicators,the optimal combination of building parameters was obtained with a ridge height of 5.72 m,a back wall height of 3.2 m,and a horizontal projection of 2.1 m on the back roof.The research results can provide a practical and feasible method for optimizing the building parameters of CSG,and provided theoretical guidance for the structural design and optimization of CSG. | Fen He Changqing Si Xiaoming Ding Zhenjun Gao Binbin Gong Fei Qi Yilei Yin Qian Feng | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,6: | 0 |

| 10 | Field measurement of the impact of natural ventilation and portable air cleaners on indoor air quality in three occupant states显示文摘Natural ventilation(NV)has been considered a simple and effective method of ventilation.However,the intro-duction of NV does not achieve better indoor air quality(IAQ)when the outdoor atmospheric environment is polluted.Therefore,portable air cleaners(PACs)are increasing in use in recent years,but their effectiveness is highly dependent on the residents’habits.A typical residence in Xi’an,China was selected to examine the effects of the use of NV alone and the use of NV and PACs together on IAQ in the three occupant states,i.e.,unoc-cupied,sleeping and leisure.Parameters,such as temperature,relative humidity,CO_(2),and PM_(2.5)concentration were measured when changing the window opening and the position of the PAC.The results showed that in the unoccupied state,opening the inner door can promote a more uniform thermal and humid environment.In the sleeping state,the I/O ratio of the PM_(2.5)concentration was the lowest when the window opening of the bedroom was 1/2 or 3/4,with a mean value of 0.3.In the leisure state,only using NV,when the purification rate reaches 90%,the mean purification time of each window opening in the living room is 87.5 min.The mean purification time was reduced to 25 min when both NV and PAC were used.The on-site purification efficiencies were 91.0%and 94.5%,when the window opening was 1/2(i.e.,the PAC was placed in the center of the room)and 3/4(i.e.,the PAC was placed away from the outer window),respectively. | Haiguo Yin Zhuohang Li Xinping Zhai Yuxuan Ning Le Gao Haihang Cui Zhenjun Ma Angui Li | 2023 | Energy and Built Environment2023,4,5: | 0 |
