| 1 | Design,modeling and experiments of broadband tristable galloping piezoelectric energy harvester显示文摘Galloping based piezoelectric energy harvester is a kind of micro-environmental energy harvesting device based on flowinduced vibrations.A novel tristable galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester is constructed by introducing a nonlinear magnetic force on the traditional galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester.Based on Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and Kirchhoff’s law,the corresponding aero-electromechanical model is proposed and validated by a series of wind tunnel experiments.The parametric study is performed to analyse the response of the tristable galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester.Numerical results show that comparing with the galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester,the mechanism of the tristable galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester is more complex.With the increase of a wind speed,the vibration of the bluff body passes through three branches:intra-well oscillations,chaotic oscillations,and inter-well oscillations.The threshold wind speed of the presented harvester for efficiently harvesting energy is 1.0 m/s,which is decreased by 33% compared with the galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester.The maximum output power of the presented harvester is 0.73 mW at 7.0 m/s wind speed,which is increased by 35.3%.Compared with the traditional galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester,the presented tristable galloping-based piezoelectric energy harvester has a better energy harvesting performance from flow-induced vibrations. | Junlei Wang Linfeng Geng Shengxi Zhou Zhien Zhang Zhihui Lai Daniil Yurchenko | 2020 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2020,36,3: | 9 |

| 4 | An estimation model of time-varying origin-destination flows in expressway corridors based on unscented Kalman filter显示文摘On the basis of measurable time series of mainline and ramp flows from traffic counts and the assumption of travel time distributions, this research presents a dynamic system model and its on-line estimation algorithm for recursive estimation of time-varying origin-destination (OD) matrices in expressway corridors. The proposed model employs a macro-traffic flow model to estimate travel times of OD flows and uses parameters of the traffic model as state variables, which are added to the constrained function of the system. To improve the model efficiency, we revise the travel time distribution based on the feature of normal distribution. The research employs a newly developed filtering technique, called unscented Kalman filter. The proposed model is evaluated with simulation experiments. | 5 | Development of a 3D Printed Bipedal Robot:Towards Humanoid Research Platform to Study Human Musculoskeletal Biomechanics显示文摘The objective of this study is to develop a bio robot with a high degree of biomechanical fidelity to the human musculoskeletal system in order to investigate the biomechanical principles underlying human walking.The robot was designed to possess identical biomechanical characteristics to the human body in terms of body segment properties,joint configurations and 3D musculoskeletal geometries.These design parameters were acquired based on the medical images,3D musculoskeletal model and gait measurements of a healthy human subject.To satistyall the design criteria sinultaneously,metal 3D printing was used to construct the whole-body humanoid robot.Flexible artificial muscles were fabricated in accordance with the predefined 3D musculoskeletal geometries.A series of physical tests were con-ducted to demonstrate the capacity of the robot platform.The fabricated robot shows equivalent mechanical characteristics to the human body as originally designed.The results of the physical tests by systematically changing environmental conditions and body structures have successfully demonstrated the capability of the robot platform to investigate the structure-function interplay in the human musculoskeletal system and also its interaction with the environment during walking.This robot might provide a valuable and powerful physical platfornm towards studying hunan musculoskeletal biomechanics by generating new hypotheses and revealing new insights into human locomotion science. | Kunyang Wang Lei Ren Zhihui Qian Jing Liu Tao Geng Luquan Ren | 2021 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2021,18,1: | 0 |

| 7 | Tuning the optoelectronic properties of vinylene linked perylenediimide dimer by ring annulation at the inside or outside bay positions for fullerene-free organic solar cells显示文摘Among various perylenediimide(PDI)-based small molecular non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs),PDI dimer can effectively avoid the excessive aggregation of single PDI and improve the photovoltaic performance.However,the twist of perylene core in PDI dimer will destroy the effective conjugation.Thus,ring annulation of PDI dimer is a feasible method to balance the film quality and electron transport,but the systematic study has attracted few attentions.Herein,we choose a simple vinylene linked PDI dimer,V-PDI2,and then conduct further studies on the structure-property-performance relationship of four kinds of derived fused-PDI dimers,namely V-TDI2,V-FDI2,V-PDIS2 and V-PDISe2 respectively.The former two are incorporated thianaphthene and benzofuran at the inside bay positions,and the latter two are fused thiophene and selenophene at the outside bay positions,respectively.Theoretical calculations reveal the inside-and outside-fused structures largely affect the skeleton configuration,the former two tend to be planar structure and the latter two maintain the distorted backbone.The photovoltaic characterizations show that the inside-fused PDI dimers offer high open circuit voltage(VOC),while the outside-fused PDI dimers afford large short-circuit current density(JSC).This variation tendency results from the reasonably tunable energy levels,light absorption,molecular crystallinity and film morphology.As a result,PBDB-T:V-PDISe2 device exhibits the highest power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 6.51%,and PBDB-T:VFDI2 device realizes the highest VOC of 1.00 V.This contribution indicates that annulation of PDI dimers in outside or inside bay regions is a feasible method to modulate the properties of PDI-based non-fullerene acceptors. | Jing Yang Fan Chen Peiqing Cong Hongjun Xiao Yanfang Geng Zhihui Liao Lie Chen Bao Zhang Erjun Zhou | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,1: | 0 |
