It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). The present guideline includes the underlying diseases of syncope in children and adolescents, the diagnostic procedures, methodology and clinical significance of standing test and headup tilt test, the clinical diagnosis vasovagal syncope, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, orthostatic hypotension and orthostatic hypertension, and the treatment of syncope as well as follow-up. | Cheng Wang Yaqi Li Ying Liao Hong Tian Min Huang Xiangyu Dong Lin Shi Jinghui Sun Hongfang Jin Junbao Du Jindou An Jie Chen Mingwu Chen Qi Chen Sun Chen Yonghong Chen Zhi Chen Adolphus Kai-tung Chau Junbao Du Zhongdong Du Junkai Duan Hongyu Duan Xiangyu Dong Lin Feng Lijun Fu Fangqi Gong Yonghao Gui Ling Han Zhenhui Han Bing He Zhixu He Xiufen Hu Yimin Hua Guoying Huang Min Huang Ping Huang Yujuan Huang Hongfang Jin Mei Jin Bo Li Fen Li Tao Li Xiaohui Li Xiaoyan Liu Yan Li Haitao Lv Tiewei Lv Zipu Li Luyi Ma Silin Pan Yusheng Pang Hua Peng Yuming Qin Jie Shen Lin Shi Kun Sun Jinghui Sun Hong Tian Jie Tian Cheng Wang Hong Wang Lei Wang Jinju Wang Wendi Wang Yuli Wang Rongzhou Wu Tianhe Xia Yanyan Xiao Chunhong Xie Yanlin Xing Zhenyu Xiong Baoyuan Xu Yi Xu Hui Yan Shiwei Yang Qijian Yi Xia Yu Xianyi Yu Yue Yuan Hongyan Zhang Huili Zhang Li Zhang Qingyou Zhang Xi Zhang Yanmin Zhang Zhiwei Zhang Cuifen Zhao Bin Zhou Hua Zhu | 2018 | Science Bulletin2018,63,23: | 54 |
| 2 | Influences of tissue composition and structural features of biological media on the ultrasonic nonlinearity parameter显示文摘The Acoustic nonlinearity parameter is an important parameter innonlinear acoustics. In this article, the nonlinearity parameter B/A of normaland eight kinds of pathological porcine liver tissues were measured by finiteamplitude insert-substitution method. The mixture law for nonlinearityparameter is used to analyze and predict the volume fractions of the compo-nents in a given tissue. It was found that the nonlinearity parameter is sensitiveto the pathological forms of biological tissues and the values of B/A dependon the tissue composition and structural features. | GONG Xiufen LIU Xiaozhou ZHANG Dong Rui Bing and CAO Lianzhi(Institute of Acoustics, Nanjing University, Nanjing 210008)Nanjing Meat Processing Plant. | 1993 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics1993,12,3: | 4 |
| 3 | A study of the acoustical radiation force considering attenuation显示文摘Acoustical tweezer is a primary application of the radiation force of a sound field. When an ultrasound focused beam passes through a micro-particle, like a cell or living biological specimens, the particle will be manipulated accurately without physical contact and invasion, due to the three-dimensional acoustical trapping force. Based on the Ray acoustics approach in the Mie regime, this work discusses the effects on the particle caused by Gaussian focused ultrasound, studies the acoustical trapping force of spherical Mie particles by ultrasound in any position, and analyzes the numerical calculation on the two-dimensional acoustical radiation force. This article also analyzes the conditions for the acoustical trapping phenomenon, and discusses the impact of the initial position and size of the particle on the magnitude of the acoustical radiation force. Furthermore, this paper considers the ultrasonic attenuation in a particle in the case of two-dimension, studies the attenuation's effects on the acoustical trapping force, and amends the calculation to the ordinary case with attenuation. | WU RongRong LIU XiaoZhou GONG XiuFen | 2013 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,7: | 3 |
| 4 | Subharmonic and ultraharmonic emissions based on the nonlinear oscillation of encapsulated microbubbles in ultrasound contrast agents显示文摘Subharmonics or ultraharmonics provides better contrast-to-tissue ratio (CTR) than the fundamental or the second harmonics, having prospective application in medical diagnosis. In this paper, subharmonic and ultra-harmonic emissions are theoretically studied through nonlinear oscillation of encapsulated bubbles. The optimized frequencies for emissions of the subharmonics and ultra-harmonics are discussed. In addition, sound pressure de-pendences of the subharmonics and ultraharmonics are studied in theory as well as in measurement. Results reveal that the developments of both subharmonics and ultrahar-monics have the same trend, i.e. occurrence, growth and saturation, but the generation of ultraharmonic is a little earlier than that of subharmonic. | GONG Yanjun ZHANG Dong GONG Xiufen | 2005 | Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,18: | 3 |
| 5 | Study of the second harmonic sound field from a circular piston source and the influence in the nonlinearity parameter tomography显示文摘In the nonlinearity parameter B/A tomography using the second harmonic wav, it is very important to analyze the ultrasonic field of the transducer, especially the generation of the second harmonic wave in the nearfield. In this paper, the theoretical study and experimental measurements of the second harmoinc pressure field from a circular piston source are performed. And the effect on the nonlinearity parameter tomograaphy is discussed. | 6 | Computed tomography of the acoustic nonlinearity parameter B/A for biological tissues via difference frequency wave from a parametric array in reflection mode显示文摘Based on the finite amplitude insert-substitu- tion method, a novel technique to reconstruct the acoustic nonlinear parameter B/A tomography for biological tissues in reflection mode via the difference frequency wave generated by a parametric array is developed in this paper. An experimental system is established, and the beam pattern of the difference frequency wave is measured and compared with that excited directly from a transmitter at the same frequency. B/A tomography for several biological tissues including normal and pathological tissues, is experimentally obtained with satisfying quality. Results indicate that B/A imaging using this mode may become a novel modality in ultrasonic diagnosis. | WANG Huanlei, ZHU Xiaofeng, GONG Xiufen & ZHANG Dong State Key Laboratory of Modern Acoustics, Institute of Acoustics, Nanjing University, Nanjing 210093, China | 2003 | Chinese Science Bulletin2003,48,22: | 1 |

| 8 | Computer simulation of acoustic nonlinear parameter tomography显示文摘Acoustic nonlinearity paramcter B / A is a new important parameter in ultrasonic tissue characterization. In this paper, we present the nonlinear theory of a finite amplitude plane sound wave propagating in a layer medium by Burgers’ equation and apply this analysis in the case of imaging with the second harmonic wave. A computer simulation of acoustic nonlinear parameter imaging was carried out from the second harmonic data in a conventional CT algorithm. The reconstructed imagcs were obtained by using filtered back projection algorithm. The tomography of acoustic nonlinear parameter for simple phantoms was reconstructed with quite good quality. | ZHANG Dong and GONG Xiufen(Institute of Acoustics, Nanjing University, Nanjing 210008) | 1994 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics1994,13,2: | 1 |

| 13 | Investigation on phase-coded third harmonic imaging for normal and pathological tissues in transmission mode in vitro显示文摘In this paper, a phase-coded pulse technique is proposed to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in the 3rd harmonic imaging in transmis-sion mode, where three pulses with initial phases of 0o, 120o and 240o are transmitted and their corre-sponding received signals are linearly summed. By means of simulations and measurements, we show that the 3rd harmonic is enhanced by 9.5 dB, whereas the fundamental or the 2nd harmonic components are suppressed; the axial and lateral beam profiles of the processed 3rd harmonics are superior to those of the fundamental or 2nd harmonic components. In addition, this technique is applied to obtain the 3rd harmonic images for two normal and pathological biological tissues in transmission mode. This technique yields a dramatically cleaner and sharper contrast than the images obtained by the traditional fundamental im-aging and the 2nd harmonic imaging, which helps distinguish the normal and pathological states of tis-sues. | MA Qingyu GONG Xiufen ZHANG Dong MA Yong | 2006 | Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,10: | 1 |

A new kind of compound transducer is designed and fabricated for this purpose. With this transducer and the finite amplitude insert-substitution method, an experimental system to measure the nonlinearity parameter using reflective model is developed. | 15 | PARAMETRIC EFFECT AND NONLINEARITY PARAMETER IN BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS显示文摘Based on the Fenlon‘s theory the parametric effects in fluids due to the nonlinear interaction of a lowfrequency pumping wave and a high frequency probing wave are analysed. The expressions of pressureamplitude of sum or difference frequency sideband and the fromula of nonlinearity parameter B/A forlossy medium are derived.Theoretical calculation demonstrated, that the sideband componentsincrease linearly with pump signal. Therefore,a method for determination of B/A is provided and the val-ues for several biological fluids and mixtures are measured. | Gong, Xiufen Zhu, Zheming Fan, Bin | 1989 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics1989,8,4: | 0 |
| 16 | The influence of molecular structure of protein on the acoustic nonlinearity parameter B/A显示文摘In this paper, the influence of molecular structure of proteins on the acoustic non-linearity parameter B/A has been studied. By using biochemical technique, three proteins such as bovine serum albumin, bovine hemoglobin and pepsin were employed and their quarternary, tertiary and secondary protein structures were perturbed by the denaturing agent sodium do-decyl sulfate (SDS) solution, while their primary structures of protein were not changed. This means that only the structural features were altered and the chemical composition maintained unchanged. B/A has been measured by using improved thermodynamic method. The experi-mental results show that when the concentration of SDS solution increases, the alterations of the protein structure increase, and the contribution of protein to the B/A value decreases. Re-sults indicate that the B/A values can display the destruction of molecular structure of protein. Some explanation of these phenomena has also been made in this paper. | LU Zhiqu GONG Xiufen WANG Shiquan LIU Jiehui and ZHANG Heyun(Institute ot Acoustics, State Key Lab. of Modern Acoustics, Nanjing University Nanjing 210093)(Department of Biochemistry Nanjing University Nanjing 210093) | 1996 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics1996,15,4: | 0 |

The results show that the B / A values of NaCl solution increase linearly with increasing temperature and slightly with increasing salinity; the B / Avalues of artificial seawater increase linearly as temperature increases; basically, thc values match those obtained in literature[1]; NaCl solution can be used to simulate seawater approximately. | LU Zhiqu GONG Xiufen and WANG Yuqin(Institute of Acoustics. | 18 | Nonlinear effects of the finite amplitude ultrasound wave in biological tissues显示文摘Nonlinear effects will occur during the transmission of the finite amplitude wave in biological tissues. The theoretical prediction and experimental demonstration of the nonlinear effects on the propagation of the finite amplitude wave at the range of biomedical ultrasound frequency and intensity are studied. Results show that the efficiency factor and effective propagation distance will decrease while the attenuation coefficient increases due to the existence of nonlinear effects. The experimental results coincided quite well with the theory. This shows that the effective propagation distance and efficiency factor can be used to describe quantitatively the influence of nonlinear effects on the propagation of the finite amplitude sound wave in biological tissues. | Xiaozhou Liu Xiufen Gong Shigong Ye Weiya Zhang | 2000 | Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,6: | 0 |

In this paper, four different |ω| filters, including RL, SL, Parabolic and Modi-SL, were used to reconstruct the B/ A image.
