| 1 | A survey of remote sensing-based aboveground biomass estimation methods in forest ecosystems显示文摘Remote sensing-based methods of aboveground biomass(AGB)estimation in forest ecosystems have gained increased attention,and substantial research has been conducted in the past three decades.This paper provides a survey of current biomass estimation methods using remote sensing data and discusses four critical issues–collection of field-based biomass reference data,extraction and selection of suitable variables from remote sensing data,identification of proper algorithms to develop biomass estimation models,and uncertainty analysis to refine the estimation procedure.Additionally,we discuss the impacts of scales on biomass estimation performance and describe a general biomass estimation procedure.Although optical sensor and radar data have been primary sources for AGB estimation,data saturation is an important factor resulting in estimation uncertainty.LIght Detection and Ranging(lidar)can remove data saturation,but limited availability of lidar data prevents its extensive application.This literature survey has indicated the limitations of using single-sensor data for biomass estimation and the importance of integrating multi-sensor/scale remote sensing data to produce accurate estimates over large areas.More research is needed to extract a vertical vegetation structure(e.g.canopy height)from interferometry synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)or optical stereo images to incorporate it into horizontal structures(e.g.canopy cover)in biomass estimation modeling. | Dengsheng Lu Qi Chen Guangxing Wang Lijuan Liu Guiying Li Emilio Moran | 2016 | International Journal of Digital Earth2016,9,1: | 17 |

| 3 | Spatiotemporal differences and influencing factors of multiple cropping index in China during 1998-2012显示文摘Raising the level of the multiple cropping index(MCI) plays a critical role in food production of China. Therefore, exploring the spatiotemporal differences and factors of the MCI in China is of important practical significance. This paper examines the trend of multiple cropping index(MCI) changes in China at the national, regional and provincial levels during 1998–2012. Based on the Theil index, this paper explores the spatiotemporal differences of the MCI in China. Additionally, a spatial econometric model is used to identify the determinants of the spatiotemporal differences of the MCI from a behavioral perspective. The results are summarized as follows:(1) From the national perspective, the MCI shows an increasing trend year by year, rising from 120.1% in 1998 to 134.26% in 2012;(2) at the regional level, the northeastern region is the fastest growing area in terms of MCI, whereas the central region is the slowest growing area. The central region has the highest MCI level, whereas the northeastern region is connected to the lowest MCI level;(3) according to the Theil index value, the differences in the MCI show a narrowing trend from 0.11 in 1998 to 0.03 in 2012, which is primarily attributed to the differences among the four regions;(4) the MCI shows differences among China's 31 provinces, and the gap that it shows is great; and(5) the proportion of non-agricultural population has a significant negative effect on the MCI. However, the proportions of non-agricultural industry, agricultural policy, per capita operating arable land area and rural household per capita net income have a significant positive impact on the MCI. | 4 | Enhancement of room-temperature magnetoresistance in La_(0.5)Sm_(0.2)Sr_(0.3)MnO_3/(Ag_2O)_(x/2)显示文摘La0.5Sm0.2Sr0.3MnO3/(Ag2O)x/2 (x = 0.00, 0.04, 0.08, 0.25, 0.30) samples were prepared by the solid-state reaction method, and their transport behaviors, transport mechanism, and magnetoresistance effect were studied through the measurement and fitting of ρ-T curves. The results show that the element Ag takes part in reaction when the doping amount is small. Ag is mainly distributed at the grain boundary of the host material and is in metallic state when the doping amount is relatively large; then the system becomes a two-phase composite. A small amount of Ag doping can apparently increase grain-boundary magnetoresistance induced by the spin-dependent scattering. | 5 | Adhesion at cerium doped metal-ceramic α-Fe/WC interface:A first-principles calculation显示文摘Electronic structure, stability and bonding strength of a-Fe/WC interfaces between Ce-doped and undoped WC cermet coating were investigated by first-principles methodology based on densityfunctional theory(DFT). Based on the minimum mismatched lattices, the relatively stable interface that forms between WC(100) and bcc a-Fe(100) was employed to predict the atomic structure, bonding,and ideal work of adhesion. There are three possible positions which were defined as OT, MT, HCP, taking into account both C-and W-terminations. The sequence of structural stability tested in this paper was:MT > OT > HCP. After full relaxation, the results show that only the first and second layers of the interface have significant influence on the electronic structure between Fe and WC. The interaction of Ce elements at the interface is achieved by comparing the interface structure and electronic structure of the doped and undoped interfaces. | 8 | Effects of Sc Addition and Annealing Treatment on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of the As-rolled Mg-3Li alloy显示文摘The microstructures and mechanical properties of the as-rolled Mg-3Li and Mg-3Li-1Sc (wt%) alloys before and after annealing treatment have been investigated. Results show that the grains are refined evidently and the recrystallization temperature is improved for more than 100°C by adding 1 wt% Sc into the Mg-3Li alloy. After complete recrystallization, both the strength and ductility of the Mg-3Li alloy are improved evidently with the addition of minor Sc. | 9 | Trends in mortality of liver disease due to hepatitis B in China from 1990 to 2019: findings from the Global Burden of Disease Study显示文摘Background::Hepatitis B is a viral infection that attacks the liver and can cause both potentially life-threatening acute and chronic liver disease.China has the world’s largest burden of hepatitis B and is considered to be a major contributor toward the goal of World Health Organization(WHO)of eliminating hepatitis B virus(HBV)as a global health threat by 2030.This study aimed to analyze data from the Global Burden of Diseases,Injuries,and Risk Factors Study(GBD)to determine the trends in mortality of liver disease due to hepatitis B in China between 1990 and 2019 and the gap with the WHO’s goal.Methods::Annual deaths and age-standardized mortality rates(ASMRs)of liver disease due to hepatitis B in China between 1990 and 2019 were collected from GBD 2019.We calculated the percentage changes in deaths and estimated annual percentage changes(EAPCs)of ASMRs of liver disease due to hepatitis B.Results::In China,deaths of total liver disease due to hepatitis B decreased by 29.13%from 229 thousand in 2016 to 162 thousand in 2019,and ASMR decreased by an average of 4.92%(95%confidence interval[CI]:4.45–5.39%)per year in this period.For the spectrum of liver disease due to hepatitis B,deaths decreased by 74.83%,34.71%,and 23.34%for acute hepatitis,cirrhosis and other chronic liver diseases,and liver cancer from 1990 to 2019,respectively,and ASMRs of acute hepatitis(EAPC=–7.63;95%CI:–8.25,–7.00),cirrhosis and other chronic liver diseases(EAPC=–4.15;95%CI:–4.66,–3.65),and liver cancer(EAPC=–5.17;95%CI:–6.00,–4.33)decreased between 1990 and 2019.The proportions of older adults aged≥70 years among all deaths of the spectrum of liver disease due to hepatitis B increased from 1990 to 2019.Deaths of liver cancer due to hepatitis B increased by 7.05%from 2015 to 2019.Conclusions::Although a favorable trend in the mortality of liver disease due to hepatitis B was observed between 1990 and 2019,China still faces challenges in achieving the WHO’s goal of eliminating HBV as a public threat by 2030.Therefore,efforts to increase the coverage of diagnosis and treatment of liver disease due to hepatitis B,especially of liver cancer due to hepatitis B,are warranted in China. | Guiying Cao Jue Liu Min Liu | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,17: | 4 |
| 10 | Introduction of pokeweed antiviral protein cDNA into Brassica napus and acquisition of transgenic plants resistant to viruses显示文摘Using cotyledonary petioles as explants, the PAP cDNA controlled by wound-in-ducible promoter has been introduced into Brassica napus by coculture with Agrobacterium tumefaciens and laser microbeam puncture respectively. Regenerated plants resistant to gen-tamycin have been selected out. PCR amplification and Southern blotting analysis indicated that PAP cDNA together with wound-inducible promoter had been integrated into Brassica genome with transformation frequencies of 2.0% and 1.7% for two transformation methods respectively. | 11 | Modal structure and propagation of internal tides in the northeastern South China Sea显示文摘The evolution of energy, energy flux and modal structure of the internal tides (ITs) in the northeastern South China Sea is examined using the measurements at two moorings along a cross-slope section from the deep continental slope to the shallow continental shelf. The energy of both diurnal and semidiurnal ITs clearly shows a ~14-day spring-neap cycle, but their phases lag that of barotropic tides, indicating that ITs are not generated on the continental slope. Observations of internal tidal energy flux suggest that they may be generated at the Luzon Strait and propagate west-northwest to the continental slope in the northwestern SCS. Because the continental slope is critical-supercritical with respect to diurnal ITs, about 4.6 kJ/m^2 of the incident energy and 8.7 kW/m of energy flux of diurnal ITs are reduced from the continental slope to the continental shelf. In contrast, the semidiurnal internal tides enter the shelf because of the sub-critical topography with respect to semidiurnal ITs. From the continental slope to the shelf, the vertical structure of diurnal ITs shows significant variation, with dominant Mode 1 on the deep slope and dominant higher modes on the shelf. | 13 | The Anomalous Response of Elastoplatic Circular Plates Under Impulsive Loading显示文摘The anomalous nonlinear elastic, perfectly plastic response behaviors of circular plate subjected to short transverse pulse load is studied. The plate is assumed fixed-pin along the boundary. 'Anomalous' here means that the final deflection may be in the direction opposite that of the load. It has been found by detailed numerical analyses that there exists anomalous response in some narrow loading ranges, so called slots. By further calculations it is shown that this special dynamic behavior is related to coupling affects of internal forces and large plastic deformation after removal loading. Further plastic dissipation will be lead to anomalous dynamic response. | 15 | One-step preparation of polyimide-inlaid amine-rich porous organic block copolymer for efficient removal of chlorophenols from aqueous solution显示文摘A novel polyimide-inlaid amine-rich porous organic block copolymer(PI-b-ARPOP) was prepared via one-step polymerization by using different molar ratios of melamine(MA)/terephthalaldehyde(TA)/pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA), at molar ratios of 4/3/1, 4/2/2 and 4/1/3. The copolymer contained both aminal groups belonging to ARPOP and imide groups belonging to PI, and the bonding styles of the monomers and growth orientations of the polymeric chains were diversiform, forming an excellent porous structure. Notably, MA/TA/PMDA(4/2/2) had a surface area and pore volume of 487.27 m^2/g and 1.169 cm^3/g,respectively. The adsorption performance of the materials towards 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP) in ultra-pure water was systematically studied. The pH value of 7 was optimal in aqueous solution. Na^+ and Cl^-ions did not negatively affect the adsorption process, while humic acid(HA) slightly decreased the capacity. The equilibrium time was 40 sec, and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 282.49 mg/g at 298 K. The removal process was endothermic and spontaneous, and the copolymer could maintain its porous structure and consistent performance after regeneration by treatment with alkali. Moreover, to further assess the practical applicability of the material, the adsorption performance towards 2,4-DCP in river water was also investigated.
