6Numerical Simulation and Moist Potential Vorticity Analysis of Torrential Rain in Jiangxi Province during June 2010显示文摘Based on the conventional ground observational data,a numerical simulation and moist potential vorticity( MPV) analysis has been carried on heavy rainfall event over Jiangxi province from 19 June to 20 June 2010,with a meso-scale rainstorm model. The results show that this rare rainstorm is a typical heavy rainfall over Meiyu front. The cold air flow behind North China vortex joined up the southwestern flow located in the northwest part of the strong and stable subtropical high,thus the cold air and warm air converged and maintained over the northern part of Hunan and Jiangxi province. The simulated precipitation of the high resolution model is very similar to the observational rainfall. The model has a good predictive skill for the location,intensity and center of heavy rainfall. By moist potential vorticity analysis,it is found that the distribution characteristic of MPV which heavy rainfall happens ahead has an obvious indication for precipitation forecast. The vertical overlapping of the positive and negative MPV1 areas is favorable to the generation and development of rainstorm. 8Emerging role of protein modification in inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘The onset of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)involves many factors,including environmental parameters,microorganisms,and the immune system.Although research on IBD continues to expand,the specific pathogenesis mechanism is still unclear.Protein modification refers to chemical modification after protein biosynthesis,also known as post-translational modification(PTM),which causes changes in the properties and functions of proteins.Since proteins can be modified in different ways,such as acetylation,methylation,and phosphorylation,the functions of proteins in different modified states will also be different.Transitions between different states of protein or changes in modification sites can regulate protein properties and functions.Such modifications like neddylation,sumoylation,glycosylation,and acetylation can activate or inhibit various signaling pathways(e.g.,nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB),extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK),and protein kinase B(AKT))by changing the intestinal flora,regulating immune cells,modulating the release of cytokines such as interleukin-1β(IL-1β),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and interferon-γ(IFN-γ),and ultimately leading to the maintenance of the stability of the intestinal epithelial barrier.In this review,we focus on the current understanding of PTM and describe its regulatory role in the pathogenesis of IBD.Gaoying WANG Jintao YUAN Ji LUO Dickson Kofi Wiredu OCANSEY Xu ZHANG Hui QIAN Wenrong XU Fei MAO 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,3:0
9Effect of Different Shear Modes on Morphology and Mechanical Properties of Polypropylene Pipes Produced by Rotational Shear显示文摘Oriented “shish-kebab” structures could be obtained by shearing to enhance the mechanical properties of polymer samples markedly.However,the effect of shear mode on mechanical properties is still uncertain.The study of stepped hoop shear field on the isotactic polypropylene(iPP)pipe was developed through applying a self-designed rotational shear system(RSS).The effect of stepped shear field on the microstructure and comprehensive properties of iPP pipe was investigated by the comparison with continuous shear.It could be found that the loosely-assembled shish-kebabs with the larger size were formed in the continuous shear pipes,but the smaller and tightly-stacked ones existed in the pipes with stepped shear.Surprisingly,due to differential morphologies under different shear modes,better comprehensive mechanical properties were obtained in the pipes with stepped shear.Wei-Chen Zhou Zu-Chen Du Hao Yang Jun-Jie Li Ying Zhang Xue-Qin Gaoi Qiang Fu 2020Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2020,38,12:0
10LIMIT CYCLES FOR A CLASS OF NONPOLYNOMIAL PLANAR VECTOR FIELDS (II)显示文摘In this paper, the problem of limit cycles for a class of nonpolynomial planar vector felds is investigated. First, based on Liapunov method theory, we obtain some sufcient conditions for determining the origin as the critical point of such nonpolynomial planar vector felds to be the focus or center. Then, using Dulac criterion, we establish some sufcient conditions for the nonexistence of limit cycles of this nonpolynomial planar vector felds. And then, according to Hopf bifurcation theory, we analyze some sufcient conditions for bifurcating limit cycles from the origin. Finally, by transforming the nonpolynomial planar vector felds into the generalized Li′enard planar vector felds, we discuss the existence, uniqueness and stability of limit cycles for the former and latter planar vector felds.
