3Factors that contribute to poor adherence to statin therapy in coronary heart disease patients from Chongqing and measures to improve their therapeutic outcomes显示文摘To assess the efficacy and short-term outcomes of adherence to statin therapy among coronary heart disease(CHD)patients following their hospital discharge,we enrolled 615 CHD patients who were prescribed statins from The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University in China between February 1st and October 31st of 2013.Statin adherence was evaluated by identifying the proportion of patients who remained adherent or became non-adherent to statin therapy over 4e8 months post-discharge from the hospital.The composite outcomes included all-cause mortality and re-hospitalization with cardiovascular disease.We found that 15.9%patients were non-adherent to their statin therapies and that coronary artery stenosis<75%(OR Z 3.433,95%CI:2.191e5.380,p<0.001)and adverse effects(OR Z 2.542,95%CI:1.327e4.869,p Z 0.005)both clearly contributed to poor adherence.The primary self-reported reasons for non-adherence included a lack of knowledge about the benefits of statin therapy(36.7%),the treatment being halted at the advice of their doctor(19.4%),and the difficulty in obtaining statins(12.2%).Non-adherence to statin therapy was significantly associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events(OR Z 1.741,95%CI:1.035e2.929,p Z 0.037).In conclusion,CHD patients with moderate stenosis or adverse effects tended to have poor statin adherence,and this was significantly associated with increased cardiovascular events.We should strengthen education of the importance of statin therapy for both patients and doctors and facilitate the ability of patients to obtain their statin medication.Guiquan Yu Yingjiao Zhang Ying Wang Guanglei Chang Hongmei Tao Dongying Zhang 2018Genes & Diseases2018,5,4:8
4Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. 5A phase inversion based sponge-like polysulfonamide/SiO_2 composite separator for high performance lithium-ion batteries显示文摘In this work,a sponge-like polysulfonamide(PSA)/SiO_2 composite membrane is unprecedentedly prepared by the phase inversion method,and successfully demonstrated as a novel separator of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Compared to the commercial polypropylene(PP) separator,the sponge-like PSA/SiO_2 composite possesses better physical and electrochemical properties,such as higher porosity,ionic conductivity,thermal stability and flame retarding ability.The LiCoO_2/Li half-cells using the sponge-like composite separator demonstrate superior rate capability and cyclability over those using the commercial PP separator.Moreover,the sponge-like composite separator can ensure the normal operation of LiCoO_2/Li half-cell at an extremely high temperature of 90 °C,while the commercial PP separator cannot.All these encouraging results suggest that this phase inversion based sponge-like PSA/SiO_2 composite separator is really a promising separator for high performance LIBs.Xiao Wang Gaojie Xu Qingfu Wang Chenglong Lu Chengzhong Zong Jianjun Zhang Liping Yue Guanglei Cui 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,6:6
6Construction of Self-Assembly Based Tunable Absorber:Lightweight,Hydrophobic and Self-Cleaning Properties显示文摘Although multifunctional aerogels are expected to be used in applications such as portable electronic devices,it is still a great challenge to confer multifunctionality to aerogels while maintaining their inherent microstructure.Herein,a simple method is proposed to prepare multifunctional NiCo/C aerogels with excellent electromagnetic wave absorption properties,superhydrophobicity,and self-cleaning by water-induced NiCo-MOF self-assembly.Specifically,the impedance matching of the three-dimensional(3D)structure and the interfacial polarization provided by CoNi/C as well as the defect-induced dipole polarization are the primary contributors to the broadband absorption.As a result,the prepared NiCo/C aerogels have a broadband width of 6.22 GHz at 1.9 mm.Due to the presence of hydrophobic functional groups,CoNi/C aerogels improve the stability in humid environments and obtain hydrophobicity with large contact angles>140°.This multifunctional aerogel has promising applications in electromagnetic wave absorption,resistance to water or humid environments.Zehua Zhou Qianqian Zhu Yue Liu Yan Zhang Zirui Jia Guanglei Wu 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9:5
7Controllable synthesis of Ni/NiO@porous carbon hybrid composites towards remarkable electromagnetic wave absorption and wide absorption bandwidth显示文摘The reasonable design of the composition of the composite materials is of great significance to optimized the electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption performance.Herein,the Ni/NiO@C hybrid composites with tunable Ni proportion were successfully synthesized through a two-step process.With the assistance of X-ray diffraction with refinement treatment,the specific proportion of Ni of as-obtained hybrid composites could be obtained.Employing controlling calcination time to adjust the Ni content of Ni/NiO@C hybrid composites,it has been found that the composite carbonized at 500℃exhibited remarkable EM wave absorption with the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of-49.1 dB at 4.9 mm and the widest effective absorption bandwidth(EABmax)of 4.56 GHz at 2.1 mm.Moreover,by adjusting the Ni source,the optimal EM wave absorption performance could be achieved.Results illustrated that the N3PC with the Ni proportion of 13.17%showed the RLm inas low as-51.1 dB at 2.4 mm and the EABmax was 5.12 GHz at 2.7 mm.It is worth noting that this work demonstrates the relevance of the composition and EM wave absorption performance of hybrid composites,which offers a feasible reference for the absorption mechanism of absorber.Xinfeng Zhou Zirui Jia Xingxue Zhang Bingbing Wang Wei Wu Xuehua Liu Binghui Xu Guanglei Wu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,28:5
8Vegetation Dynamics and Its Relationship with Climatic Factors in the Changbai Mountain Natural Reserve显示文摘This study examined the temporal variation of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and its relationship with climatic factors in the Changbai Mountain Natural Reserve (CMNR) during 2000-2009.The results showed as follows.The average NDVI values increased at a rate of 0.0024 year-1.The increase rate differed with vegetation types,such as 0.0034 year-1 for forest and 0.0017 year-1 for tundra.Trend analyses revealed a consistent NDVI increase at the start and end of the growing season but little variation or decrease observed in July during the study period.The NDVI in CMNR showed a stronger correlation with temperature than with precipitation,especially in spring and autumn.A stronger correlation was observed between NDVI and temperature in the tundra zone (2,000-2,600m) than in the coniferous forest (1,100-1,700m) and Korean pine-broadleaved mixed forest (700-1,100m) zones.The results indicate that vegetation at higher elevations is more sensitive to temperature change.NDVI variation had a strong correlation with temperature change (r=0.7311,p<0.01) but less significant correlation with precipitation change.The result indicates that temperature can serve as a main indicator of vegetation sensitivity in the CMNR.H0U Guanglei ZHANG Hongyan WANG Yeqiao 2011Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,6:5

10Controlling effects of differential swelling index on evolution of coal permeability显示文摘Coal permeability measurements are normally conducted under the assumption that gas pressure in the matrix is equalized with that in fracture and that gas sorption-induced swelling/shrinking strain is uniformly distributed within the coal.However,the validity of this assumption has long been questioned and differential strain between the fracture strain and the bulk strain has long been considered as the primary reason for the inconsistency between experimental data and poroelasticity solutions.Although efforts have been made to incorporate the impact into coal permeability models,the fundamental nature of those efforts to split the matrix strain between fracture and coal bulk remains questionable.In this study,a new concept of differential swelling index(DSI)was derived to theoretically define the relation among sorption-induced strains of the coal bulk,fracture,and coal matrix at the equilibrium state.DSI was a function of the equilibrium pressure and its magnitudes were regulated by the Langmuir constants of both the matrix and the coal bulk.Furthermore,a spectrum of DSI-based coal permeability models was developed to explicitly consider the effect of differential strains.These models were verified with the experimental data under the conditions of uniaxial strain,constant confining pressure,and constant effective stress.Chuanzhong Jiang Zhenfeng Zhao Xiwei Zhang Jishan Liu Derek Elsworth Guanglei Cui 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,3:5
11Effects of folic acid on in vitro astrocytic differentiation of neural stem cells from neonatal rats显示文摘BACKGROUND:Folic acid is essential for normal functioning of the nervous system.Previous studies have focused on the effects of folic acid on astrocyte proliferation. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of folic acid on astrocyte differentiation of neural stem cells (NSCs) and the related mechanisms in vitro. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,grouping experiment was performed in Tianjin Medical University between August 2007 and October 2008. MATERIALS:Folic acid and 5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine(BrdU) were obtained from Sigma,MO,USA. Primary antibodies[rabbit anti-rat nestin,β-tubulin-Ⅲ,glial fibrillary acidic protein,and neurogenin1 (Ngn1);mouse anti-rat BrdU andβ-actin monoclonal antibodies]were purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology,USA. METHODS:At 6 days of NSC proliferation from 24-hour-old neonatal rats,BrdU incorporation assay was performed.Seven days after primary culture,NSCs were induced to differentiate with medium containing 5%fetal bovine serum.Cultured NSCs were assigned to three groups:control,low-dose (liquid media with 8 mg/L folic acid),and high-dose folic acid(liquid media with 44 mg/L folic acid). MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:At day 7 after primary culture,the cells were identified as NSCs by immunocytochemical methods.Double-label immunofluorescence technique for glial fibrillary acidic protein/BrdU detected differentiated cells 7 days after induction.Western blot was used to analyze expression of Ngn1 protein in NSCs. RESULTS:In serum-free suspension medium,neurospheres comprised a large number of Nestin-, glial fibrillary acidic protein-,β-tubulin-Ⅲ-,and BrdU-positive cells.Compared with the control group, high-dose folic acid supplementation led to an marked increase in the percentage of glial fibrillary acidic protein/BrdU-positive cells(P<0.05),and significantly decreased Ngn1 protein expression (P<0.05). Learning from nature, people developed serial intelligent biomimetic devices. Biomimetic smart nanochannels received widespread attention for mimicking biological processes in bodies. Excellent stability, tailorable surface characteristics and nano-size effects rend polymer single nanochannel an ideal candidate for constructing sensitive and reproducible biosensors. Nanochannels are responsive for special analytes while appropriate recognition elements are modified in channels wall. 13Novel benzamido derivatives as PTP1B inhibitors with anti-hyperglycemic and lipid-lowering efficacy显示文摘Based on a non-competitive and selective PTP1 B inhibitor reported by us previously, thirtynine benzamido derivatives were designed and synthesized as novel PTP1 B inhibitors. Among them,twelve compounds exhibited IC_(50) values at micromolar level against human recombinant PTP1 B, and most of them exhibited significant selectivity to PTP1 B over TC-PTP and CD45. 14Flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte enabling sodium metal batteries with highly safe characteristic and superior cycling stability显示文摘Con ventio nal liquid electrolytes based sodium metal batteries suffer from severe safety hazards owing to electrolyte leakage,in flammability and dendritic sodium deposit!on.Herein,we report a flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte with poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic an hydride)(P(MVE-alt-MA))as host,bacterial cellulose(BC)as reinforceme nt,and triethyl phosphate/vinyle ne carb on ate/sodium perchlorate(TEP/VC/NaClO4)as plasticizer for highly safe sodium metal batteries.The as-obtained quasi-solid polymer electrolyte exhibits superior flame retardancy(self-extinguish within 1 s),complete non-leakage property and wide electrochemical windows(4.4 V).More importantly,Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries using such polymer electrolyte delivers superior I on g-term cycli ng stability(84.4%capacity rete ntion after 1000 cycles)which is significantly better than that(only 2%after 240 cycles)of liquid electrolyte.In addition,this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte provides favorable cycle performance(80.2%capacity retention after 70 cycles at 50°C and 84.8%capacity retention after 50 cycles at-10°C)for Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries.And this battery also displayed a normal charge/discharge property even at-15°C.These fascinating cycle properties are mainly ascribed to the effective pro怕ctive layers formed on Na3V2(PC>4)3 cathode and sodium metal ano de.More thorough in vestigati on elucidates that such flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte plays a multif unctional role in the adva need sodium metal batteries:(1)being in volved in the formatio n of a favorable cathode electrolyte in terface(CEI)to inhibit the dissolutio n of van adium and maintai n the structure integrity of the Na3V2(PO4)3;(2)participati ng in building a stable solid electrolyte in terface(SEI)to suppress the growth of Na dendrites;(3)integrating flame-retardanee into polymer sodium batteries to enhance flame-resistanee,eliminate electrolyte leakage,and thus improve safety of sodium batteries.Based on these results,we further assembled Na3V2(PO4)3/MoS2 pouch cell which can withsta nd harsh conditions(be nded or cut off a corn er),confirming the obtai ned polymer electrolyte with superior non-leakage property.In all,these outstanding characteristics would endow this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte a very promising can didate for highly-safe sodium metal batteries.Jinfeng Yang Min Zhang Zheng Chen Xiaofan Du Suqi Huang Ben Tang Tiantian Dong Han Wu Zhe Yu Jianjun Zhang Guanglei Cui 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:4
15Electrospun Fe_(0.64)Ni_(0.36)/MXene/CNFs nanofibrous membranes with multicomponent heterostructures as flexible electromagnetic wave absorbers显示文摘Two-dimensional metal carbide or nitride materials(MXenes)are widely used in electromagnetic wave absorption because of their unique structure.Herein,a novel composite preparation strategy has been proposed to design dendritic nanofibers based on the electrostatic spinning methods.The multifunctional MXene nanosheets are used as the dendritic matrix,and magnetic nanoparticles are embedded in the nanosheets as magnetic loss units.Multidimensional nanocomposites have interlaced carbon fiber networks,large-scale magnetically coupled networks,and a lot of multi-heterojunction interface structures,which endow the composites with extraordinary conduction loss,magnetic loss,and polarization loss capabilities,respectively.The impedance matching and loss mechanisms of the composites are improved by optimizing the synergistic relationship between the components and building a suitable structure.The optimum reflection loss(RL)of−54.1 dB is achieved at 2.7 mm and a wide effective absorption bandwidth(EAB,RL below−10 dB)of 7.76 GHz is obtained at a small thickness of 2.1 mm for the nanocomposites.The distinctive microstructures of the nanofibrous membranes give rise to their flexibility,waterproof,and electromagnetic wave absorption performance and endow the nanofibrous membranes potential to be utilized as lightweight,efficient electromagnetic wave protective fabric in harsh environment.Shuo Zhang Zirui Jia Yan Zhang Guanglei Wu 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:4

17Metal-organic framework-derived CoSn/NC nanocubes as absorbers for electromagnetic wave attenuation显示文摘Metal-organic framework-derived composites have been widely used in electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption,but the traditional synthetic strategy greatly limits the structure and species of MOFs.This research provided a solvent-free method to synthesize Co-MOF and its derivatives.Using CoSnO_(3)as the precursor,the preparation of Co-MOF is achieved by bridging the cobalt(II)ion of CoSnO_(3)and the 2-methylimidazole skeleton.The CoSn/N-doped carbon(CoSn/NC)composites derived from CoSnO_(3)-MOF(Co-MOF with CoSnO_(3)as Co source)retain the original morphology of CoSnO_(3).Besides,the polarization effect produced by the N-doped carbon layers also benefits the excellent EMW absorption performance of the CoSn/NC composites.It is reflected in the minimum reflection loss(RL)of-48.2 dB at 2.2 mm and the effective bandwidth(EBA)of 5.84 GHz.This work provides a new channel to the construction of Co-MOFs,which could be extended to other Co-based oxides and vastly expand the species of MOFs based on metallic Co.Chenxi Wang Zirui Jia Shuangqiao He Jixi Zhou Shuo Zhang Mengli Tian Bingbing Wang Guanglei Wu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,13:4
18Core-shell Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@C particles anchore d on 3D N-dope d porous carbon skeleton for modulated electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Synthesizing multi-component composites via a straightforward,reliable,and scalable approach has been challenging.Herein,a three-dimensional nitrogen-doped porous carbon decorated with core-shell Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@carbon particles(3D N-PC/Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@C)was customized through a simple salt-template pyrolysis approach.The formed Ni_(3)Sn_(2) particles are perfectly surrounded by crystalline carbon layers and em-bedded in 3D carbon walls during pyrolysis.The dual protection of crystalline carbon layers and porous carbon walls guarantees the electrical conductivity and stability of Ni_(3)Sn_(2).The intriguing 3D and core-shell structure coupled with the introduction of multiple components empowers the composite with rich heterogeneous interface and conductive network,and contributes to the lightweight,corrosion resistance,oxidation resistance,and superior stability of electromagnetic(EM)wave absorbers.The N-PC/Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@C possesses the minimum reflection loss(RL min)of-54.01 dB and wide effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 7.36 GHz under a low filler content of less than 10%.The concept in the work proposes a facile,eco-friendly,and scalable pathway for the synthesis of other heterogeneous structures of EM wave ab-sorbers.Hongxia Zhang Kaige Sun Kangkang Sun Lei Chen Guanglei Wu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,27:4
19Dynamic analysis of heat extraction rate by supercritical carbon dioxide in fractured rock mass based on a thermal-hydraulic-mechanics coupled model显示文摘Heat production from geothermal reservoirs is a typical heat transfer process involving a cold working fluid contacting a hot rock formation.Compared to the thermal-physical characteristics of water,supercritical CO_(2)(scCO_(2))has a higher heat storage capacity over a wide temperature-pressure range and may be favored as a heat transfer fluid.Singularly characteristic of scCO_(2)-based heat extraction is that the hydraulic-thermal properties of the scCO_(2) vary dramatically and dynamically with the spatial pressure gradient during unsteady-state flow along fracture.This highly nonlinear behavior presents a challenge in the accurate estimation of heat extraction efficiency in scCO_(2)-based EGS.In this paper,a thermal-h ydraulic-mechanical(THM)coupled model is developed by considering deformation of the fractured reservoir,non-Darcy flow and the varying thermal-physical properties of scCO_(2).The proposed model is validated by matching the modeling temperature distribution with published data.The results show that during continuous injection of scCO_(2),the fracture first widens and then narrows,ultimately reopening over the long term.The sequential fracture deformation behaviors are in response to the combined impacts of mechanical compression and thermally-induced deformation.By controlling the injection parameters of the scCO_(2),it is found that the heat extraction rate is positively correlated to its pore pressure or mass flow rate.The heat extraction rate can be significantly enhanced,when the inlet temperature of scCO_(2) is below its critical temperature.As a result,the heat increment recovered per unit mass of scCO_(2) decreases as the hot rock is gradually cooled.Meanwhile,the heat increment recovered per unit mass of scCO_(2) decreases by increasing the inlet temperature of scCO_(2) or its mass flow rate,but increases as the outlet pressure rises.Furthermore,multi-linear regression indicates that controlling the inlet temperature of the scCO_(2) can significantly improve the thermodynamic efficiency of heat extraction.Chunguang Wang Xingkai Shi Wei Zhang Derek Elsworth Guanglei Cui Shuqing Liu Hongxu Wang Weiqiang Song Songtao Hu Peng Zheng 2022International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,2:3
20Cyanoethyl cellulose-based eutectogel electrolyte enabling high-voltage-tolerant and ion-conductive solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘Solid-state polymer electrolytes are an important factor in the deployment of highsafety and high-energy-density solid-state lithium metal batteries.Nevertheless,use of the traditional polyethylene oxide-based solid-state polymer electrolyte is limited due to its inherently low ionic conductivity and narrow electrochemical stability window.Herein,for the first time,we specifically designed a cyanoethyl cellulosein-deep eutectic solvent composite eutectogel as a promising candidate for hybrid solid-state polymer electrolytes.It is found that the proposed eutectogel electrolyte achieves high ionic conductivity(1.87×10^(−3) S cm^(−1) at 25℃),superior electrochemical stability(up to 4.8 V),and outstanding lithium plating/striping behavior(low overpotential of 0.04 V at 1mAcm^(−2) and 1mAh cm^(−2) over 300 h).With the eutectogel-based solid-state polymer electrolyte,a 4.45 V LiCoO_(2)/Li metal battery delivers prominent long-term lifespan(capacity retention of 85%after 200 cycles)and high average Coulombic efficiency(99.5%)under ambient conditions,significantly outperforming the traditional carbonate-based liquid electrolyte.Our work demonstrates a promising strategy for designing eutectogel-based solid-state polymer electrolytes to realize high-voltage and high-energy lithium metal batteries.Hao Zhang Lixue Zhou Xiaofan Du Jianjun Zhang Songwei Tian Tingting Liu Jinning Zhang Sijia Hu Weiling Song Xinhong Zhou Guanglei Cui 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,6:3
