Coordinated flight control of miniature fixed-wing UAV swarms: methods and experiments显示文摘In this paper,we present our recent advances in both theoretical methods and field experiments for the coordinated control of miniature fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)swarms. We propose a multi-layered group-based architecture, which is modularized,mission-oriented,and can implement large-scale swarms. To accomplish the desired coordinated formation flight,we present a novel distributed coordinated-control scheme comprising a consensus-based circling rendezvous,a coordinated path-following control for the leader UAVs,and a leader-follower coordinated control for the follower UAVs.The current framework embeds a formation pattern reconfiguration technique. Moreover,we discuss two security solutions(inter-UAV collision avoidance and obstacle avoidance)in the swarm flight problem. The effectiveness of the proposed coordinated control methods was demonstrated in field experiments by deploying up to 21 fixed-wing UAVs. | Xiangke WANG Lincheng SHEN Zhihong LIU Shulong ZHAO Yirui CONG Zhongkui LI Shengde JIA Hao CHEN Yangguan YU Yuan CHANG Yajing WANG | 2019 | Science China(Information Sciences)2019,62,11: | 21

Identification of fruit and branch in natural scenes for citrus harvesting robot using machine vision and support vector machine显示文摘With the decrease of agricultural labor and the increase of production cost, the researches on citrus harvesting robot(CHR)have received more and more attention in recent years. For the success of robotic harvesting and the safety of robot, the identification of mature citrus fruit and obstacle is the priority of robotic harvesting. In this work,a machine vision system, which consisted of a color CCD camera and a computer, was developed to achieve these tasks.Images of citrus trees were captured under sunny and cloudy conditions.Due to varying degrees of lightness and position randomness of fruits and branches, red, green, and blue values of objects in these images are changed dramatically. The traditional threshold segmentation is not efficient to solve these problems.Multi-class support vector machine(SVM),which succeeds by morphological operation, was used to simultaneously segment the fruits and branches in this study. The recognition rate of citrus fruit was 92.4%,and the branch of which diameter was more than 5 pixels, could be recognized. The results showed that the algorithm could be used to detect the fruits and branches for CHR. | Lü Qiang Cai Jianrong Liu Bin Deng Lie Zhang Yajing | 2014 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,2: | 17
Integrative lipidomic and transcriptomic study unravels the therapeutic effects of saikosaponins A and D on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease显示文摘Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)has become one of the most prominent causes of chronic liver diseases and malignancies. However, few therapy has been approved.Radix Bupleuri(RB)is the most frequently used herbal medicine for the treatment of liver diseases. In the current study,we aim to systemically evaluate the therapeutic effects of saikosaponin A(SSa)and saikosaponin D(SSd),the major bioactive monomers in RB,against NAFLD and to investigate the underlying mechanisms. Our results demonstrated that both SSa and SSd improved diet-induced NAFLD.Integrative lipidomic and transcriptomic analysis revealed that SSa and SSd modulated glycerolipid metabolism by regulating related genes, like Lipe and Lipg.SSd profoundly suppressed the fatty acid biosynthesis by downregulating Fasn and Acaca expression and promoted fatty acid degradation by inducing Acox1 and Cpt1 a expression.Bioinformatic analysis further predicted the implication of master transcription factors, including peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha(PPARα),in the protective effects of SSa and SSd.These results were further confirmed in vitro in mouse primary hepatocytes. In summary, our study uncoded the complicated mechanisms underlying the promising anti-steatosis activities of saikosaponins(SSs),and provided critical evidence inspiring the discovery of innovative therapies based on SSa and SSd for the treatment of NAFLD and related complications. | Xiaojiaoyang Li Junde Ge Yajing Li Yajie Cai Qi Zheng Nana Huang Yiqing Gu Qi Han Yunqian Li Rong Sun Runping Liu | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,11: | 15
Induced earthquakes in the development of unconventional energy resources显示文摘It has long been known that human activities such as waste fluid disposal and reservoir impoundment may cause earthquakes. Recently, anthropogenic activities to tackle the increasing energy demand and to address climate change issues are also reported to induce earthquakes. These activities have a common attribute in that fluids are injected and extracted underground and induce spatiotemporal changes of pore pressure and stress, which may cause slip on faults. Induced earthquakes not only pose significant impacts on seismic hazard assessment and preparation, but also raise the question to the society as how to balance the economic needs of resources development and the public's concerns about potential environmental impacts. Here we review the observations of fluid-injection/extraction induced earthquakes, ground deformation associated with these activities, and their physical mechanisms. Furthermore, we discuss the influences of induced earthquakes on seismic hazard models, regulatory policies on these anthropogenic activities, and current development of academic, industrial and government initiatives and collaborations in order to understand this intriguing phenomenon and address associated challenges. | YANG HongFeng LIU YaJing WEI Meng ZHUANG JianCang ZHOU ShiYong | 2017 | Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,9: | 12

Oncogenic AURKA-enhanced N6-methyladenosine modification increases DROSHA mRNA stability to transactivate STC1 in breast cancer stem-like cells显示文摘RNase III DROSHA is upregulated in multiple cancers and contributes to tumor progression by hitherto unclear mechanisms. Here,we demonstrate that DROSHA interacts withβ-Catenin to transactivate STC1 in an RNA cleavage-independent manner, contributing to breast cancer stem-like cell(BCSC)properties.DROSHA mRNA stability is enhanced by N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)modification which is activated by AURKA in BCSCs.AURKA stabilizes METTL14 by inhibiting its ubiquitylation and degradation to promote DROSHA mRNA methylation. Moreover, binding of AURKA to DROSHA transcript further strengthens the binding of the m^(6)A reader IGF2BP2 to stabilize m^(6)A-modified DROSHA.In addition,wild-type DROSHA,but not an m^(6)A methylation-deficient mutant, enhances BCSC stemness maintenance, while inhibition of DROSHA m^(6)A modification attenuates BCSC traits. Our study unveils the AURKA-induced oncogenic m^(6)A modification as a key regulator of DROSHA in breast cancer and identifies a novel DROSHA transcriptional function in promoting the BCSC phenotype. | Fei Peng Jie Xu Bai Cui Qilan Liang Sai Zeng Bin He Hong Zou Manman Li Huan Zhao Yuting Meng Jin Chen Bing Liu Shasha Lv Peng Chu Fan An Zifeng Wang Junxiu Huang Yajing Zhan Yuwei Liao Jinxin Lu Lingzhi Xu Jin Zhang Zhaolin Su Zhiguang Li Fangjun Wang Eric W-FLam Quentin Liu | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,3: | 9
Effects of particle composition and environmental parameters on catalytic hydrodechlorination of trichloroethylene by nanoscale bimetallic Ni-Fe显示文摘Catalytic nickel was successfully incorporated into nanoscale iron to enhance its dechlorination efficiency for trichloroethylene(TCE), one of the most commonly detected chlorinated organic compounds in groundwater. Ethane was the predominant product. The greatest dechlorination efficiency was achieved at 22 molar percent of nickel. This nanoscale Ni-Fe is poorly ordered and inhomogeneous; iron dissolution occurred whereas nickel was relatively stable during the 24-hr reaction. The morphological characterization provided significant new insights on the mechanism of catalytic hydrodechlorination by bimetallic nanoparticles. TCE degradation and ethane production rates were greatly affected by environmental parameters such as solution pH, temperature and common groundwater ions. Both rate constants decreased and then increased over the pH range of 6.5 to 8.0, with the minimum value occurring at pH 7.5. TCE degradation rate constant showed an increasing trend over the temperature range of 10 to 25?C. However, ethane production rate constant increased and then decreased over the range, with the maximum value occurring at 20?C. Most salts in the solution appeared to enhance the reaction in the first half hour but overall they displayed an inhibitory effect. Combined ions showed a similar effect as individual salts. | Jianjun Wei Yajing Qian Wenjuan Liu Lutao Wang Yijie Ge Jianghao Zhang Jiang Yu Xingmao Ma | 2014 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,5: | 9
MicroRNA-324-3p Plays A Protective Role Against Coxsackievirus B3-Induced Viral Myocarditis显示文摘Viral myocarditis(VM) is an inflammatory disease of the myocardium associated with heart failure, which is caused by common viral infections. A majority of the infections are initiated by coxsackievirus B3(CVB3). Micro RNAs(mi RNAs)have a major role in various biological processes, including gene expression, cell growth, proliferation, and apoptosis, as well as viral infection and antiviral immune responses. Although, mi RNAs have been found to regulate viral infections, their role in CVB3 infection remains poorly understood. In the previous study, mi RNA microarray results showed that mi R-324-3 p expression levels were significantly increased when cells and mice were infected with CVB3. It was also found that miR-324-3p downregulated TRIM27 and decreased CVB3 replication in vitro and in vivo. In vitro, analysis of downstream signaling of TRIM27 revealed that, miR-324-3p inhibited CVB3 infection, and reduced cytopathic effect and viral plaque formation by reducing the expression of TRIM27. In vivo, miR-324-3p decreased the expression of TRIM27,reduced cardiac viral replication and load, thereby strongly attenuating cardiac injury and inflammation. Taken together, this study suggests that miR-324-3p targets TRIM27 to inhibit CVB3 replication and viral load, thereby reducing the cardiac injury associated with VM. | Tingjun Liu Jing Tong Chen Shao Junyan Qu Hua Wang Yi Shi Yajing Lin Yun Liu Shihe Shao Hongxing Shen | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,6: | 8

Ce and Er Co-doped TiO2 for rapid bacteria- killing using visible light显示文摘Bacterial infection and related diseases are threatening the health of human beings.Photocatalytic disinfection as a simple and low-cost disinfection strategy is attracting more and more attention. In this work,TiO2 nanoparticles(NPs)were modified by co-doping of Ce and Er using the sol-gel method, which endowed TiO2 NPs with enhanced visible light photocatalytic performance but not pure ultraviolet photocatalytic properties compared the untreated TiO2.Our results disclosed that as the doping content of Er increased, the photocatalytic activity of modified TiO2 NPs initially increased and subsequently decreased. The same trend occurred for Ce doping. When the doping dose of Er and Ce is 0.5 mol%and 0.2 mol%,the 0.5Ce0.2Ti-O calcined at 800℃ presented the best antibacterial properties, with the antibacterial efficiency of 91.23%and 92.8%for Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, respectively. The existence of Er ions is thought to successfully turn the near-infrared radiation into visible region, which is easier to be absorbed by TiO2 NPs.Meanwhile, the addition of Ce ions can effectively extend spectral response range and inhibit the recombination of electrons and holes, enhancing the photocatalytic disinfection activity of co-doped TiO2. | Yawei Ren Yajing Han Zhaoyang Li Xiangmei Liu Shengli Zhu Yanqin Liang Kelvin Wai Kwok Yeung Shuilin Wu | 2020 | Bioactive Materials2020,5,2: | 7
An analytical biomarker for treatment of patients with recurrent B-ALL after remission induced by infusion of anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T(CAR-T) cells显示文摘Anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor-modified T(CAR-T-19) cells have emerged as a powerful targeted immunotherapy for B-cell lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia with a remarkable clinical response in recent trials. Nonetheless, few data are available on the subsequent clinical monitoring and treatment of the patients, especially those with disease recurrence after CAR-T-19 cell infusion. Here, we analyzed three patients who survived after our phase I clinical trial and who were studied by means of biomarkers reflecting persistence of CAR-T-19 cells in vivo and predictive factors directing further treatment. One patient achieved 9-week sustained complete remission and subsequently received an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant. Another patient who showed relapse after 20 weeks without detectable leukemia in the cerebrospinal fluid after CAR-T-19 cell treatment was able to achieve a morphological remission under the influence of stand-alone low-dose chemotherapeutic agents. The third patient gradually developed extensive extramedullary involvement in tissues with scarce immune-cell infiltration during a long period of hematopoietic remission after CAR-T-19 cell therapy. Long-term and discontinuous increases in serum cytokines(mainly interleukin 6 and C-reactive protein) were identified in two patients(Nos. 1 and 6) even though only a low copy number of CAR molecules could be detected in their peripheral blood. This finding was suggestive of persistent functional activity of CAR-T-19 cells. Combined analyses of laboratory biomarkers with their clinical manifestations before and after salvage treatment showed that the persistent immunosurveillance mediated by CAR-T-19 cells would inevitably potentiate the leukemia-killing effectiveness of subsequent chemotherapy in patients who showed relapse after CAR-T-19-induced remission. | Yajing Zhang Wenying Zhang Hanren Dai Yao Wang Fengxia Shi Chunmeng Wang Yelei Guo Yang Liu Meixia Chen Kaichao Feng Yan Zhang Chuanjie Liu Qingming Yang Suxia Li Weidong Han | 2016 | Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,4: | 6
Progressive loss of striatal dopamine terminals in MPTP-induced acute parkinsonism in cynomolgus monkeys using vesicular monoamine transporter type 2 PET imaging([^(18)F]AV-133)显示文摘The 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP)-induced parkinsonism model, particularly in non-human primates, remains the gold-standard for studying the pathogenesis and assessing novel therapies for Parkinson's disease. However, whether the loss of dopaminergic neurons in this model is progressive remains controversial, mostly due to the lack of objective in vivo assessment of changes in the integrity of these neurons. In the present study, parkinsonism was induced in cynomolgus monkeys by intravenous administration of MPTP(0.2 mg/kg) for 15 days; stable parkinsonism developed over 90 days, when the symptoms were stable. Noninvasive positron emission tomographic neuroimaging of vesicular monoamine transporter 2 with 9-[18F]fluoropropyl-(+)-dihydrotetrabenazine([18F]AV-133) was used before, and 15 and 90 days after the beginning of acute MPTP treatment. The imaging showed evident progressive loss of striatal uptake of [18F]AV-133. The dopaminergic denervation severity had a significant linear correlation with the clinical rating scores and the bradykinesia subscores. Thesefindings demonstrated that [18F]AV-133 PET imaging is a useful tool to noninvasively evaluate the evolution of monoaminergic terminal loss in a monkey model of MPTP-induced parkinsonism. | Yajing Liu Feng Yue Rongping Tang Guoxian Tao Xiaomei Pan Lin Zhu Hank F.Kung Piu Chan | 2014 | Neuroscience Bulletin2014,30,3: | 6

Formation of Bulk Intermetallic Compound AgaSn in Slowly-Cooled Lead-Free Sn-4.0 wt pct Ag Solders显示文摘Sn-Ag alloy system has been regarded as one of the most promising lead-free solder to substitute conventional Sn-Pb eutectic solder. But the formation of bulk Ag3Sn intermetallic compounds (IMCs) during reflow and post heattreatment significantly influences the performance of the solder joints. With an effort to clarify its microstructuralevolution as a function of slow cooling rates, the fraction of bulk IMCs within the slowly solidified Sn-4.0 wt pctAg solder was investigated by standard metallographic and compared with that detected by thermal analysis. It wasfound that the bulk IMCs fraction determined by thermal analysis corresponds quite well with the microstructureobservation results. In accordance with the conventional solidification theory, the lower the applied cooling rate, thefewer the amount of bulk Ag3Sn IMCs formed in Sn-4.0 wt pct Ag alloy. In addition, Vickers hardness measurementresults indicated that the relative coarse eutectic Ag3Sn IMCs distributing in the lamellar eutectic structure favoredthe improvement of the mechanical performance. | Jun SHEN+, Yongchang LIU, Yajing HAN, Peizhen ZHANG and Houxiu GAO College of Materials Science & Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin 300072, China | 2005 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2005,21,6: | 4

Arterial stiffness and stroke:de-stiffening strategy,a therapeutic target for stroke显示文摘Stroke is the second leading cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide.Early intervention is of great importance in reducing disease burden.Since the conventional risk factors cannot fully account for the pathogenesis of stroke,it is extremely important to detect useful biomarkers of the vascular disorder for appropriate intervention.Arterial stiffness,a newly recognised reliable feature of arterial structure and function,is demonstrated to be associated with stroke onset and serve as an independent predictor of stroke incidence and poststroke functional outcomes. In this review article, different measurements of arterial stiffness, especially pressure wave velocity, were discussed. We explained the association between arterial stiffness and stroke occurrence by discussing the secondary haemodynamic changes. We reviewed clinical data that support the prediction role of arterial stiffness on stroke.Despite the lack of long-term randomised double-blind controlled therapeutic trials,it is high potential to reduce stroke prevalence through a significant reduction of arterial stiffness(which is called de-stiffening therapy).Pharmacological interventions or lifestyle modification that can influence blood pressure, arterial function or structure in either the short or long term are promising de-stiffening therapies. Here,we summarised different de-stiffening strategies including antihypertension drugs, antihyperlipidaemic agents, chemicals that target arterial remodelling and exercise training.Large and well-designed clinical trials on de-stiffening strategy are needed to testify the prevention effect for stroke.Novel techniques such as modern microscopic imaging and reliable animal models would facilitate the mechanistic analyses in pathophysiology, pharmacology and therapeutics. | Yajing Chen Fanxia Shen Jianrong Liu Guo-Yuan Yang | 2017 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2017,2,2: | 3

2022 Chinese expert consensus and guidelines on clinical management of toxicity in anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma显示文摘Adoptive cellular immunotherapy with chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T cells has emerged as a novel modality for treating relapsed and/or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma(B-NHL).With increasing approval of CAR T-cell products and advances in CAR T cell therapy,CAR T cells are expected to be used in a growing number of cases. However,CAR T-cell-associated toxicities can be severe or even fatal, thus compromising the survival benefit from this therapy.Standardizing and studying the clinical management of these toxicities are imperative. In contrast to other hematological malignancies, such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia and multiple myeloma,anti-CD19 CAR T-cell-associated toxicities in B-NHL have several distinctive features, most notably local cytokine-release syndrome(CRS).However, previously published guidelines have provided few specific recommendations for the grading and management of toxicities associated with CAR T-cell treatment for B-NHL.Consequently,we developed this consensus for the prevention, recognition, and management of these toxicities,on the basis of published literature regarding the management of anti-CD19 CAR T-cell-associated toxicities and the clinical experience of multiple Chinese institutions. This consensus refines a grading system and classification of CRS in B-NHL and corresponding measures for CRS management, and delineates comprehensive principles and exploratory recommendations for managing anti-CD19 CAR T-cell-associated toxicities in addition to CRS. | Ping Li Yang Liu Yun Liang Jian Bo Sujun Gao Yongxian Hu Yu Hu He Huang Xiaojun Huang Hongmei Jing Xiaoyan Ke Jianyong Li Yuhua Li Qifa Liu Peihua Lu Heng Mei Ting Niu Yongping Song Yuqin Song Liping Su Sanfang Tu Jianxiang Wang Depei Wu Zhao Wang Kailin Xu Zhitao Ying Qingming Yang Yajing Zhang Fengxia Shi Bin Zhang Huilai Zhang Xi Zhang Mingfeng Zhao Weili Zhao Xiangyu Zhao Liang Huang Jun Zhu Wenbin Qian Weidong Han Aibin Liang | 2023 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2023,20,2: | 3
