1Boron neutron capture therapy for malignant melanoma: first clinical case report in China显示文摘A phase Ⅰ/Ⅱ clinical trial for treating malignant melanoma by boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT) was designed to evaluate whether the world's first in-hospital neutron irradiator(IHNI) was qualified for BNCT. In this clinical trial planning to enroll 30 patients, the first case was treated on August 19, 2014. We present the protocol of this clinical trial, the treating procedure, and the clinical outcome of this first case. Only grade 2 acute radiation injury was observed during the first four weeks after BNCT and the injury healed after treatment. No late radiation injury was found during the 24-month follow-up. 2Reduction of wastewater toxicity and change of microbial community in a hydrolysis acidification reactor pre-treating trimethylolpropane wastewater显示文摘Trimethylolpropane (TMP)wastewater is one of the most toxic petrochemical wastewater.Toxicants with high concentrations in TMP wastewater often inhibit the activity of microorganisms associated with biological treatment processes.The hydrolysis acidification process (HAP)is widely used to pretreat petrochemical wastewater.However,the effects of HAP on the reduction of wastewater toxicity and the relevant underlying mechanisms have rarely been reported.In this study,an HAP reactor was operated for 240 days.fed with actual TMP wastewater diluted by tap water in varying ratios.The toxicity of TMP wastewater was assessed with the inhibition ratio of oxygen uptake rate.When the organic loading rates were lower than 7.5kg COD/m^3/d,the toxicity of TMP wastewater was completely elminated.When the actual TMP wastewater was directly fed into the reactor,the toxicity of TMP wastewater decreased from 100%to 34.9%.According to the results of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis,four main toxicants contained in TMP wastewater,namely,formaldehyde, 2-ethylacrolein.TMP and 2-ethylhexanol.were all significantly removed,with removal efficiencies of 93.42%,95.42%,72.85%and 98.94%,respectively.Compared with the removal efficiency of CODcr, the reduction rate of toxicity is markedly higher by HAP.In addition,the change of microbial community in the HAP reactor,along the operation period,was studied.The results revealed that, compared with the seed sludge.Firmicutes became the dominant phylum (abundance increased from 0.51% to 57.08%),followed by Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes (abundance increased from 59.75% to 25.99%and from 4.70%to 8.39%,respectively).Xin Xing Yin Yu Hongbo Xi Guangqing Song Yajiao Wang Jiane Zuo Yuexi Zhou 2018Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,6:2
3Effect of 2-butenal manufacture wastewater to methanogenic activity and microbial community显示文摘The synthesis of 2-butenal,which is a vital raw material for the production of sorbic acid as a food preservative,generates some toxic by-products,so it is urgent to seek better detoxification strategies for the treatment of 2-butenal manufacture wastewater.In this study,batch experiments were carried out to investigate the inhibition effect of wastewater on the methanogenic activity.To understand the wastewater toxicity to anaerobic granular sludge,variations of the specific methanogenic activity(SMA)and extracellular polymeric substance(EPS)constituents at various wastewater CODs were investigated.Ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)spectra and Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectra were employed to analyze the structure of the EPS.The results showed that the inhibitory ratio of 2-butenal manufacture wastewater was less than 8.4%on the anaerobic granular sludge when the CODs were less than 959 mg/L.However,the inhibitory ratio increased from 36.4%to 93.6% when CODs increased from 2396 mg/L to 9585 mg/L,with the SMA decreasing from 39.1 mL CH4/(gVSS·d)to 3.2 mL CH4/(gVSS·d).The diversity of the microbial community under various CODs was researched by Illumina 16S rRNA Miseq sequencing and the results demonstrated that Proteiniphilum、Petrimonas and Syntrophobacter were the dominant bacteria genera in all sample.Regarding archaea,Methanobacterium was the most dominated archaea genera,followed by the Methanosaeta group in all samples.Moreover,the bacterial communities had changed obviously with increasing CODs,which indicated high CODs played a negative impact on the richness and diversity of bacterial community in the sludge samples.Guangqing Song Hongbo Xi Xiumei Sun Yudong Song Yuexi Zhou 2018Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,5:0

5CAS-ESM2.0 Model Datasets for the CMIP6 Ocean Model Intercomparison Project Phase 1 (OMIP1)显示文摘As a member of the Chinese modeling groups,the coupled ocean-ice component of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’Earth System Model,version 2.0(CAS-ESM2.0),is taking part in the Ocean Model Intercomparison Project Phase 1(OMIP1)experiment of phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP6).The simulation was conducted,and monthly outputs have been published on the ESGF(Earth System Grid Federation)data server.In this paper,the experimental dataset is introduced,and the preliminary performances of the ocean model in simulating the global ocean temperature,salinity,sea surface temperature,sea surface salinity,sea surface height,sea ice,and Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation(AMOC)are evaluated.The results show that the model is at quasi-equilibrium during the integration of 372 years,and performances of the model are reasonable compared with observations.This dataset is ready to be downloaded and used by the community in related research,e.g.,multi-ocean-sea-ice model performance evaluation and interannual variation in oceans driven by prescribed atmospheric forcing.Xiao DONG Jiangbo JIN Hailong LIU He ZHANG Minghua ZHANG Pengfei LIN Qingcun ZENG Guangqing ZHOU Yongqiang YU Mirong SONG Zhaohui LIN Ruxu LIAN Xin GAO Juanxiong HE Dongling ZHANG Kangjun CHEN 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,2:0
