| 2 | Polymer assisted deposition of high-quality CsPbI2Br film with enhanced film thickness and stability显示文摘Inorganic halide perovskites such as cesium lead iodide(CsPbI3)have drawn tremendous attention,as their tunable band gaps are desirable for solar cells as well as light emitting diodes.However,due to their low Goldschmidt tolerance factor,the cubic phase of bulk CsPbX3-the variant with desirable band gap-is not stable in ambient,especially in humid air.Besides,the low solubility of CsX in precursor makes it difficult to control the film thickness and morphology of CsPbX3,which becomes another obstacle for the practical application of inorganic perovskite.Here,we report a polymer assisted deposition of high-quality CsPbI2Br film by spin-coating a polymer-blended CsPbI2Br precursor.The long-chained polymer increases the viscosity of the solution,which enables us to achieve a ca.700-nm thick film with a low solution concentration of CsPbI2Br.Moreover,the polymer network helps to regulate the crystallization process and provides more crystallization sites for perovskite film,reducing grain size and thus improving the film coverage.Perovskite solar cells with the polymer network exhibit improved efficiency and reproducibility(0.72%standard deviation).Moreover,the device demonstrates excellent robustness against moisture and oxygen,and maintains 90%of its initial power conversion efficiency(PCEs)after aging 4 months in ambient conditions.The conception of polymer incorporation into inorganic perovskite films paves a way to further increase the performance,stability and reproducibility of inorganic perovskite devices. | Jing Wei Xi Wang Xiangyu Sun Zhaofeng Yang Iwan Moreels Kun Xu Hongbo Li | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,3: | 6 |
| 3 | Palaeoenvironmental implication of the Plio-Pleistocene loess deposits in southern Tarim Basin显示文摘The sedimentary characteristics, grain-size distribution, geochemical composition and surface characteristics of quartz grains, together with palaeoenvironmental reconnaissance, all point to an aeolian origin for the intercalated siltstone beds in the Plio-Pleistocene Artux and Xiyu Formations along the southern margins of the Tarim Basin, indicating that loess deposition in the region started, at least, in the Early Pliocene. | 4 | Dynamic control on grain-size distribution of terrigenous sediments in the western South China Sea:Implication for East Asian monsoon evolution显示文摘High-resolution oxygen isotope stratigraphy of Core MD05-2901, which is located off eastern Vietnam in the western South China Sea (SCS), was established and indicated that the core spans a time period of the past 450 ka. Based on the bulk density, fractional porosity and lithogenic content of the sedi-ments, terrigenous mass accumulation rate (TMAR) was obtained, which is 4.9―6.0 g cm?2 ka?1 on average during interglacial stages, higher than that during glacial stages, i.e. 1.9―5.0 g cm-2 ka-1, which is different from northern and southern SCS which show higher TMAR in glacial stages. By principle component analysis of grain size distribution of all the samples, two main control factors (F1 and F2) were obtained, which are responsible for about 80% variance of granularity. The contents of grain size population 1.26―2.66 μm% and 10.8―14.3 μm% which are sensible to F1 show high-frequency fluctuation, and correlate well with the summer insolation at 15oN. They exhibit a dis-tinct cyclicity with frequencies near 23 ka and 13 ka, in contrast to a strong frequency peak near 100 ka obtained in proxies 4.24―7.42 μm% and 30.1―43.7 μm% controlled mainly by F2. The sedimentary character of this part of the SCS was controlled by variations of input flux from two main source areas, namely the southwest and north SCS, which were transported by different circulations of surface current forced by East Asian summer monsoon and winter monsoon respectively. | 6 | The metabolic role of LncZBTB39-1:2 in the trophoblast mobility of preeclampsia显示文摘Preeclampsia is characterized by new onset of hypertension and proteinuria after 20 weeks’gestation and is a leading cause of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.The pathogenesis of preeclampsia is often associated with aberrant trophoblast function that leads to shallow placental implantation.However,the exact underlying mechanisms remain unclear.Placental LncZBTB39-1:2 expression level was investigated in 20 healthy placentae and 20 placentae with preeclampsia using qRT-PCR,and the metabolic profile of trophoblasts overexpressing LncZBTB39-1:2 in vitro was analysed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GCeMS).In this study,we found that the expression of LncZBTB39-1:2 was significantly higher in preeclamptic placentae than in healthy placentae.Our metabolomics results have shown that tricarboxylic acid cycle intermediates and metabolites related to carbohydrate metabolism were decreased with the overexpression of LncZBTB39-1:2 in HTR8/SVneo cells.These findings were validated by detecting a lower level of intracellular ATP in HTR8/Vneo cells.Furthermore,the migration of HTR8/SVneo cells was compromised when cells were transfected with a plasmid encompassing LncZBTB39-1:2 overexpression.From these results,we conclude that abnormal levels of LncZBTB39-1:2 expression might lead to aberrant conditions in HTR-8/SVneo trophoblast cells.Aberrant conditions might be associated with dysregulated trophoblast migration and subsequent failure of uterine spiral artery remodelling,a pathogenesis recognised as a contributing factor in the aetiology of preeclampsia. | Yamin Liu Ting-Li Han Xiaofang Luo Yuxiang Bai Xuehai Chen Wei Peng Xi Xiong Philip N.Baker Chao Tong Hongbo Qi | 2018 | Genes & Diseases2018,5,3: | 3 |
| 7 | Attitude Control of Rigid Body with Inertia Uncertainty and Saturation Input显示文摘In this paper, the attitude control problem of rigid body is addressed with considering inertia uncertainty,bounded time-varying disturbances, angular velocity-free measurement, and unknown non-symmetric saturation input. Using a mathematical transformation, the effects of bounded time-varying disturbances, uncertain inertia,and saturation input are combined as total disturbances. A novel finite-time observer is designed to estimate the unknown angular velocity and the total disturbances. For attitude control, an observer-based sliding-mode control protocol is proposed to force the system state convergence to the desired sliding-mode surface; the finite-time stability is guaranteed via Lyapunov theory analysis. | 8 | Recognition of high-specificity hERG K+ channel inhibitor-induced arrhythmia in cardiomyocytes by automated template matching显示文摘Cardiovascular disease(CVD)is the number one cause of death in humans.Arrhythmia induced by gene mutations,heart disease,or hERG K+channel inhibitors is a serious CVD that can lead to sudden death or heart failure.Conventional cardiomyocyte-based biosensors can record extracellular potentials and mechanical beating signals.However,parameter extraction and examination by the naked eye are the traditional methods for analyzing arrhythmic beats,and it is difficult to achieve automated and efficient arrhythmic recognition with these methods.In this work,we developed a unique automated template matching(ATM)cardiomyocyte beating model to achieve arrhythmic recognition at the single beat level with an interdigitated electrode impedance detection system.The ATM model was established based on a rhythmic template with a data length that was dynamically adjusted to match the data length of the target beat by spline interpolation.The performance of the ATM model under long-term astemizole,droperidol,and sertindole treatment at different doses was determined.The results indicated that the ATM model based on a random rhythmic template of a signal segment obtained after astemizole treatment presented a higher recognition accuracy(100%for astemizole treatment and 99.14%for droperidol and sertindole treatment)than the ATM model based on arrhythmic multitemplates.We believe this highly specific ATM method based on a cardiomyocyte beating model has the potential to be used for arrhythmia screening in the fields of cardiology and pharmacology. | Hao Wang Hongbo Li Xinwei Wei Tao Zhang Yuting Xiang Jiaru Fang Peiran Wu Xi Xie Ping Wang Ning Hu | 2021 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,2: | 2 |

| 10 | Reduction of wastewater toxicity and change of microbial community in a hydrolysis acidification reactor pre-treating trimethylolpropane wastewater显示文摘Trimethylolpropane (TMP)wastewater is one of the most toxic petrochemical wastewater.Toxicants with high concentrations in TMP wastewater often inhibit the activity of microorganisms associated with biological treatment processes.The hydrolysis acidification process (HAP)is widely used to pretreat petrochemical wastewater.However,the effects of HAP on the reduction of wastewater toxicity and the relevant underlying mechanisms have rarely been reported.In this study,an HAP reactor was operated for 240 days.fed with actual TMP wastewater diluted by tap water in varying ratios.The toxicity of TMP wastewater was assessed with the inhibition ratio of oxygen uptake rate.When the organic loading rates were lower than 7.5kg COD/m^3/d,the toxicity of TMP wastewater was completely elminated.When the actual TMP wastewater was directly fed into the reactor,the toxicity of TMP wastewater decreased from 100%to 34.9%.According to the results of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis,four main toxicants contained in TMP wastewater,namely,formaldehyde, 2-ethylacrolein.TMP and 2-ethylhexanol.were all significantly removed,with removal efficiencies of 93.42%,95.42%,72.85%and 98.94%,respectively.Compared with the removal efficiency of CODcr, the reduction rate of toxicity is markedly higher by HAP.In addition,the change of microbial community in the HAP reactor,along the operation period,was studied.The results revealed that, compared with the seed sludge.Firmicutes became the dominant phylum (abundance increased from 0.51% to 57.08%),followed by Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes (abundance increased from 59.75% to 25.99%and from 4.70%to 8.39%,respectively). | Xin Xing Yin Yu Hongbo Xi Guangqing Song Yajiao Wang Jiane Zuo Yuexi Zhou | 2018 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,6: | 2 |
