All-optical logic gate computing for high-speed parallel information processing显示文摘Optical computing and optical neural network have gained increasing attention in recent years because of their potential advantages of parallel processing at the speed of light and low power consumption by comparison with electronic computing. The optical implementation of the fundamental building blocks of a digital computer,i.e.logic gates, has been investigated extensively in the past few decades.Optical logic gate computing is an alternative approach to various analogue optical computing architectures. In this paper, the latest development of optical logic gate computing with different kinds of implementations is reviewed.Firstly, the basic concepts of analogue and digital computing with logic gates in the electronic and optical domains are introduced. And then a comprehensive summary of various optical logic gate schemes including spatial encoding of light field, semiconductor optical amplifiers(SOA),highly nonlinear fiber(HNLF),microscale and nanoscale waveguides, and photonic crystal structures is presented. To conclude, the formidable challenges in developing practical all-optical logic gates are analyzed and the prospects of the future are discussed.Shuming Jiao Junwei Liu Liwen Zhang Feihong Yu Guomeng Zuo Jingming Zhang Fang Zhao Weihao Lin Liyang Shao 2022Opto-Electronic Science2022,1,9:2
Low-loading gold in situ doped with sulfur by biomolecule-assisted approach for promoted electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction显示文摘For electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction(CO_(2)RR),CO_(2)-to-CO conversion is considered an ideal route towards carbon neutrality for practical applications.Gold(Au)is known as a promising catalyst with high selectivity for CO;however,it suffers from high cost and low mass-specific activity. In this study,we design and prepare a catalyst featuring uniform S-doped Au nanoparticles on N-doped carbon support(denoted as S-Au/NC)by an in situ synthesis strategy using biomolecules. The S-Au/NC displays high activity and selectivity for CO in CO_(2)RR with a Au loading as low as 0.4 wt.%.The Faradaic efficiency of CO(FECO)for S-Au/NC is above 95%at−0.75 V(vs.RHE);by contrast, the FECO of Au/NC(without S)is only 58%.The Tafel slope is 77.4 mV·dec−1,revealing a favorable kinetics process.Furthermore,S-Au/NC exhibits an excellent long-term stability for CO_(2)RR.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the S dopant can boost the activity by reducing the free energy change of the potential-limiting step(formation of the*COOH intermediate). This work not only demonstrates a model catalyst featuring significantly reduced use of noble metals, but also establishes an in situ synthesis strategy for preparing high-performance catalysts.Meijie Tan Xiaoqian Han Sen Ru Chao Zhang Zhouru Ji Zhaolin Shi Guomeng Qiao Yunying Wang Ruixue Cui Qiquan Luo Jiqing Jiao Yaguang Li Tongbu Lu 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:1

A three dimensional visualized physical simulation for natural gas charging in the micro-nano pore system显示文摘A micro-nano pore three-dimensional visualized real-time physical simulation of natural gas charging, in-situ pore-scale computation, pore network modelling, and apparent permeability evaluation theory were used to investigate laws of gas and water flow and their distribution, and controlling factors during the gas charging process in low-permeability(tight) sandstone reservoir. By describing features of gas-water flow and distribution and their variations in the micro-nano pore system, it is found that the gas charging in the low permeability(tight) sandstone can be divided into two stages, expansion stage and stable stage. In the expansion stage, the gas flows continuously first into large-sized pores then small-sized pores, and first into centers of the pores then edges of pores;pore-throats greater than 20 μm in radius make up the major pathway for gas charging. With the increase of charging pressure, movable water in the edges of large-sized pores and in the centers of small pores is displaced out successively. Pore-throats of 20-50 μm in radius and pore-throats less than 20 μm in radius dominate the expansion of gas charging channels at different stages of charging in turn, leading to reductions in pore-throat radius, throat length and coordination number of the pathway, which is the main increase stage of gas permeability and gas saturation. Among which, pore-throats 30-50 μm in radius control the increase pattern of gas saturation. In the stable stage, gas charging pathways have expanded to the maximum, so the pathways keep stable in pore-throat radius, throat length, and coordination number, and irreducible water remains in the pore system, the gas phase is in concentrated clusters, while the water phase is in the form of dispersed thin film, and the gas saturation and gas permeability tend stable. Connected pore-throats less than 20 μm in radius control the expansion limit of the charging pathways, the formation of stable gas-water distribution, and the maximum gas saturation. The heterogeneity of connected pore-throats affects the dynamic variations of gas phase charging and gas-water distribution. It can be concluded that the pore-throat configuration and heterogeneity of the micro-nanometer pore system control the dynamic variations of the low-permeability(tight) sandstone gas charging process and gas-water distribution features.QIAO Juncheng ZENG Jianhui XIA Yuxuan CAI Jianchao CHEN Dongxia JIANG Shu HAN Guomeng CAO Zhe FENG Xiao FENG Sen- 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,2:1

Magmatic hydrothermal fluid genesis of zeolite in the Paleogene Kongdian Formation of Zaoyuan oilfield,Bohai Bay Basin,China显示文摘Electronic probe, fluid inclusion homogenization temperature,Raman spectroscopy and laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry were utilized to identify the hydrothermal fluid-rock interactions in the second member of the Paleogene Kongdian Formation of Zaoyuan oilfield in Bohai Bay Basin(Kong 2 Member for short)of Well Z56 to find out the relationship between zeolite and hydrothermal fluid. The experimental results show that:(1)Pyrobitumen coexists with hydrothermal fluid characteristic minerals such as chlorite, barite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, natrolite and analcime in mudstone fractures.(2)The temperatures calculated from laser Raman spectrum of pyrobitumen, from the chlorite geothermometer and from measured homogenization temperature of natrolite inclusions are 324-354℃,124-166℃ and 89-196℃,respectively;although vary widely, all the temperatures are obviously higher than the normal geothermal temperature.(3)The positive Eu anomaly of chlorite and barite, and the similar distribution pattern in rare earth elements between natrolite and basalt indicate they are from magmatic hydrothermal fluid. Moreover, drilling data shows that the Kong 2 Member in Well Z56 has several sets of basalt interlayers, suggesting there was geologic base of magmatic hydrothermal fluid activity. The magmatic hydrothermal fluid-rock interaction may be one of the reasons for the abnormal enrichment of zeolite in Kong 2 Member of the Cangdong Sag.HAN Guomeng WANG Li XIAO Dunqing LOU Da XU Muyue ZHAO Yonggang PEI Yanlu GUO Xiaowen TENG Jiancheng' HAN Yuanjia 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,5:0
Volatile compound-mediated plant-plant interactions under stress with the tea plant as a model显示文摘Plants respond to environmental stimuli via the release of volatile organic compounds(VOCs),and neighboring plants constantly monitor and respond to these VOCs with great sensitivity and discrimination. This sensing can trigger increased plant fitness and reduce future plant damage through the priming of their own defenses. The defense mechanism in neighboring plants can either be induced by activation of the regulatory or transcriptional machinery,or it can be delayed by the absorption and storage of VOCs for the generation of an appropriate response later.Despite much research, many key questions remain on the role of VOCs in interplant communication and plant fitness. Here we review recent research on the VOCs induced by biotic(i.e.insects and pathogens)and abiotic(i.e.cold,drought,and salt)stresses, and elucidate the biosynthesis of stress-induced VOCs in tea plants. Our focus is on the role of stress-induced VOCs in complex ecological environments.Particularly, the roles of VOCs under abiotic stress are highlighted. Finally,we discuss pertinent questions and future research directions for advancing our understanding of plant interactions via VOCs.Jieyang Jin Mingyue Zhao Tingting Jing Mengting Zhang Mengqian Lu Guomeng Yu Jingming Wang Danyang Guo Yuting Pan Timothy D.Hoffmann Wilfried Schwab Chuankui Song 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,9:0
High-Efficiency Narrow-Band Electro-Fluorescent Devices with Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Sensitizers Combined Through-Bond and Through-Space Charge Transfers显示文摘Organic light-emitting diodes utilizing thermally activated delayed fluorescence sensitizers and multiple-resonance(MR)dopants may simultaneously offer high efficiencies and narrow-band emissions, but these devices still face intractable challenges with a lack of design rules for high-performance sensitizers. Here, sensitizers with ortho-arranged donor–acceptors on a(trifluoromethyl)benzene linker have been proposed, which not only facilitate relatively small molecular dipole moments but also combine through-bond and through-space charge transfers for fast reverse intersystem crossing(RISC).Chen Yin Dongdong Zhang Yuewei Zhang Yang Lu Rui Wang Guomeng Li Lian Duan 2020CCS Chemistry2020,2,4:0
Groundwater Dating and Its Application to Earthquake Monitoring显示文摘Monitoring and study of dynamic characteristics of groundwater are significant methods of earthquake monitoring and forecasting. For research on groundwater dynamics, groundwater dating can qualitatively and quantitatively provide scientific analysis on the characteristics of groundwater recharge and runoff as well as renewal capacity. This article illustrates the methods used globally and summarizes the main advances and achievements in groundwater dating. It also focuses on the relationships between groundwater renewal capacity and seismic monitoring, groundwater movement and seismic activity, shallow groundwater recharge and abnormal interference elimination. The studies show that groundwater dating plays an important role in water-rock interaction, and geological tectonic and seismic activity evaluation. Therefore, groundwater dating can be widely used to monitor and analyze the precursor information in seismic underground fluid observations in the near future.Zhang Guomeng Liu Yaowei Zhang Lei Ren Hongwei 2015Earthquake Research in China2015,29,4:0
