1Confined van der Waals Epitaxial Growth of Two-Dimensional Large Single-Crystal In_(2)Se_(3) for Flexible Broadband Photodetectors显示文摘The controllable growth of two-dimensional(2D)semiconductors with large domain sizes and high quality is much needed in order to reduce the detrimental efect of grain boundaries on device performance but has proven to be challenging.Here,we analyze the precursor concentration on the substrate surface which signifcantly infuences nucleation density in a vapor deposition growth process and design a confned micro-reactor to grow 2D In_(2)Se_(3) with large domain sizes and high quality.Te uniqueness of this confned micro-reactor is that its size is∼102-103 times smaller than that of a conventional reactor.Such a remarkably small reactor causes a very low precursor concentration on the substrate surface,which reduces nucleation density and leads to the growth of 2D In_(2)Se_(3) grains with sizes larger than 200�m.Our experimental results show large domain sizes of the 2D In_(2)Se_(3) with high crystallinity.Te fexible broadband photodetectors based on the as-grown In_(2)Se_(3) show rise and decay times of 140 ms and 25 ms,efcient response(5.6 A/W),excellent detectivity(7×10^(10) Jones),high external quantum efciency(251%),good fexibility,and high stability.Tis study,in principle,provides an efective strategy for the controllable growth of high quality 2D materials with few grain boundaries.Lei Tang Changjiu Teng Yuting Luo Usman Khan Haiyang Pan Zhengyang Cai Yue Zhao Bilu Liu Hui-Ming Cheng 2019Research2019,,1:7
2Chemical formation and source apportionment of PM_(2.5) at an urban site at the southern foot of the Taihang mountains显示文摘The region along the Taihang Mountains in the North China Plain(NCP) is characterized by serious fine particle pollution. To clarify the formation mechanism and controlling factors, an observational study was conducted to investigate the physical and chemical properties of the fine particulate matter in Jiaozuo city, China. Mass concentrations of the water-soluble ions(WSIs) in PM_(2.5) and gaseous pollutant precursors were measured on an hourly basis from December 1, 2017, to February 27, 2018. The positive matrix factorization(PMF) method and the FLEXible PARTicle(FLEXPART) model were employed to identify the sources of PM_(2.5). The results showed that the average mass concentration of PM_(2.5) was 111 μg/m^(3) during the observation period. Among the major WSIs, sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium(SNA) constituted 62% of the total PM_(2.5) mass, and NO_(3)^(-) ranked the highest with an average contribution of 24.6%. NH_(4)^(+) was abundant in most cases in Jiaozuo. According to chemical balance analysis, SO_(2)-4, NO_(3)^(-), and Cl^(-) might be present in the form of(NH_4)_(2)SO_4, NH_4NO_3, NH_4Cl, and KCl. The liquid-phase oxidation of SO_(2) and NO_(2) was severe during the haze period. The relative humidity and pH were the key factors influencing SO_(4)^(2-) formation. We found that NO_(3)^(-) mainly stemmed from homogeneous gas-phase reactions in the daytime and originated from the hydrolysis of N_(2)O_5 in the nighttime, which was inconsistent with previous studies. 3Accelerated evolution of an Lhx2 enhancer shapes mammalian social hierarchies显示文摘Social hierarchies emerged during evolution,and social rank influences behavior and health of individuals.However,the evolutionary mechanisms of social hierarchy are still unknown in amniotes.Here we developed a new method and performed a genome-wide screening for identifying regions with accelerated evolution in the ancestral lineage of placental mammals,where mammalian social hierarchies might have initially evolved.Then functional analyses were conducted for the most accelerated region designated as placental-accelerated sequence 1(PAS1,P=3.15 × 10^-18).Multiple pieces of evidence show that PAS1 is an enhancer of the transcription factor gene Lhx2 involved in brain development.PAS1s isolated from various amniotes showed different c/s-regulatory activity in vitro,and affected the expression of Lhx2 differently in the nervous system of mouse embryos.PAS1 knock-out mice lack social stratification.PAS1 knock-in mouse models demonstrate that PAS1s determine the social dominance and subordinate of adult mice,and that social ranks could even be turned over by mutated PAS1.All homozygous mutant mice had normal huddled sleeping behavior,motor coordination and strength.Therefore,PAS1-Lhx2 modulates social hierarchies and is essential for establishing social stratification in amniotes,and positive Darwinian selection on PAS1 plays pivotal roles in the occurrence of mammalian social hierarchies.Yuting Wang Guangyi Dai Zhili Gu Guopeng Liu Ke Tang Yi-Hsuan Pan Yujie Chen Xin Lin Nan Wu Haoshan Chen Su Feng Shou Qiu Hongduo Sun Qian Li Chuan Xu Yanan Mao Yong Edward Zhang Philipp Khaitovich Yan-Ling Wang Qunxiu Liu Jing-Dong Jackie Han Zhen Shao Gang Wei Chun Xu Naihe Jing Haipeng Li 2020Cell Research2020,30,5:4
4Cold Stress-induced Glucosyltransferase CsUGT78A15 is Involved in the Formation of Eugenol Glucoside in Camellia sinensis显示文摘Eugenol is a natural phenolic compound known for its health-promoting properties and its ability to add a floral scent to tea plants.Plant eugenol glycosides have been identified and shown to make important contributions to fruit floral quality.However,the details of their biosynthesis and metabolism in tea plants are still unknown.Here,eugenol glucoside was unambiguously identified as a native metabolite in the tea plant,and its biosynthesis was shown to be induced by low temperature treatment.Through the analysis of UGTs induced by low temperature,the glycosyltransferase CsUGT78A15 was identified in tea,and its encoded protein was shown to catalyze the glucosylation of eugenol.Vmax/Km ratios showed that eugenol was the most suitable substrate for CsUGT78A15.Sugar donor preference analysis showed that CsUGT78A15 had a higher selectivity for glucose,followed by galactose and glucuronic acid.The expression of CsUGT78A15was correlatedwith the accumulation of eugenol glucoside in different tissues and genotypes of tea.Down-regulation of CsUGT78A15 led to a decreased eugenol glucoside content under cold stress,indicating that CsUGT78A15 plays an important role in the biosynthesis of eugenol glucoside under cold stress.The identification of eugenol glucoside in the tea plant and the discovery of a cold stress-induced eugenol glucosyltransferase in tea provide the foundation for the improvement of tea flavor under cold stress and the biotechnological production of eugenol glucoside.Mingyue Zhao Binbin Cai Jieyang Jin Na Zhang Tingting Jing Jingming Wang Yuting Pan Zixiang Zhou Yifan Zhao Yingying Feng Feng Yu Mengting Zhang Yating Li Zhonghua Liu Chuankui Song 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,6:4

11Tailoring MgH_(2) for hydrogen storage through nanoengineering and catalysis显示文摘Hydrogen energy has been recognized as “Ultimate Power Source” in the 21st century, which could be the best solution to the looming energy crisis and climate degeneration in the near future. Due to its high safety, low price, abundant resources and decent hydrogen storage density, magnesium based solid-state hydrogen storage materials are becoming the leading candidate for onboard hydrogen storage. However,the high operation temperature and slow reaction rate of MgH_(2), as a result of the large formation enthalpy and high reaction activation energy,respectively, are the first and most difficult problems we need to face and overcome to realize its industrialization. Herein, a state-of-the-art review on tailoring the stable thermodynamics and sluggish kinetics of hydrogen storage in MgH_(2), particularly through nanoengnieering and catalysis is presented, aiming to provide references and solutions for its promotion and application. 12Detection of cotton waterlogging stress based on hyperspectral images and convolutional neural network显示文摘Waterlogging in the early stage of cotton will reduce the number of bolls and do harm to yield.Early detection of waterlogging will help farmers to adjust cotton management and save the loss.To evaluate the application of deep learning for the detection of early waterlogging,this study applied a convolutional neural network(CNN)to classify different durations of waterlogging stress(0,2,4,6,8,10 d)based on hyperspectral images(HSIs)of cotton leaves.An experiment was designed to simulate the situation of cotton under waterlogging stress and collect HSIs of visible and near-infrared(VNIR 450-950 nm)spectra with 126 bands 66 d after cotton sowing(66 DAS).It was found the spectral curve reflectance of waterlogging cotton was higher than that of non-waterlogging cotton.Especially near 550 nm and 750 nm,and the spectral curve increased with durations of waterlogging stress and there were‘blue shift’phenomena for the position of the red edge of the spectra.The first principal components of HSIs after band randomly discarding and principal component analysis(PCA)were used to build a dataset.GoogLeNet Inception-v3(GLNI-v3)and VGG-16 models were selected to detect cotton waterlogging stress with the dataset.The results showed that the average time for a round training for GLNI-v3 was 13.337 s,with a classification accuracy of 96.95%and a loss value of 0.09431.The average time for a round training for VGG-16 was 21.470 s,with a classification accuracy of 97.00%and a loss value of 0.17912.Though these two models had similar classification accuracy and loss value,GLNI-v3 achieved a high accuracy with fewer training iterations.The durations of waterlogging stress of cotton in a short-term can be detected by HSIs of cotton leaves and CNN models are suitable for the classification of HSIs,and this method can provide support for cotton yield estimation and loss assessment after waterlogging.Jing Zhao Fangjiang Pan Zhiming Li Yubin Lan Liqun Lu Dongjian Yang Yuting Wen 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,2:1

14Promoter and coding sequence diversity of CsCCD1 may contribute to the differential accumulation of floralβ-ionone in fresh tea leaves显示文摘The carotenoid-derived volatileβ-ionone makes an important contribution to tea fragrance.Here,we qualitatively and quantitatively analysed 15 carotenoids in tea leaves of 13 cultivars by UHPLC-APCI-MS/MS.The 13 cultivars were divided into two groups by PCA(Principal Component Analysis)clustering analysis of their carotenoid content,and OPLS-DA(Orthogonal projections to latent structures)indicated that the levels ofβ-carotene(VIP=2.89)and lutein(VIP=2.30)were responsible for much of the variation between the two groups.Interestingly,theβ-carotene toβ-ionone conversion rates in Group 1 were higher than in Group 2,while theβ-carotene content was significantly lower in Group 1 than in Group 2.Theβ-ionone content was significantly higher in Group 1.Pearson Correlation Coefficient calculation between the transcription level of candidate genes(CsCCD1 and CsCCD4)and the accumulation ofβ-ionone indicated that CsCCD1 may involve in the formation ofβ-ionone in 13 cultivars.Prokaryotic expression and in vitro enzyme activity assays showed that‘Chuanhuang 1’had an amino acid mutation in carotenoid cleavage dioxygenases 1(CsCCD1)compared with‘Shuchazao’,resulting in a significantly higherβ-ionone content in‘Chuanhuang 1’.Sequence analysis showed that‘Chuanhuang 1’and‘Huangdan’had different CsCCD1 promoter sequences,leading to significantly higher CsCCD1 expression andβ-ionone accumulation in‘Chuanhuang 1’.These results indicated that the promoter and coding sequence diversity of CsCCD1 might contribute to the differential accumulation ofβ-ionone in different tea cultivars.Jingming Wang Mingyue Zhao Ting Gao Yingying Feng Feiquan Wang Yuting Pan Jieyang Jin Tingting Jing Mengqian Lu Mengting Zhang Danyang Guo Xiaochun Wan Wilfried Schwab Chuankui Song 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,4:1
15Cross-boundary transport and source apportionment for PM_(2.5) in a typical industrial city in the Hebei Province,China:A modeling study显示文摘Cross-boundary transport of air pollution is a difficult issue in pollution control for the North China Plain.In this study,an industrial district(Shahe City)with a large glass manufactur-ing sector was investigated to clarify the relative contribution of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))to the city's high levels of pollution.The Nest Air Quality Prediction Model System(NAQPMS),paired with Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF),was adopted and applied with a spatial resolution of 5 km.During the study period,the mean mass concentrations of PM_(2.5),SO_(2),and NO_(2)were observed to be 132.0,76.1,and 55.5μg/m^(3),respectively.The model reproduced the variations in pollutant concentrations in Shahe at an acceptable level.The simulation of online source-tagging revealed that pollutants emitted within a 50-km radius of downtown Shahe contributed 63.4%of the city's total PM_(2.5)concentration.This contribu-tion increased to 73.9±21.2%when unfavorable meteorological conditions(high relative hu-midity,weak wind,and low planetary boundary layer height)were present;such conditions are more frequently associated with severe pollution(PM_(2.5)≥250μg/m^(3)).The contribution from Shahe was 52.3±21.6%.The source apportionment results showed that industry(47%),transportation(10%),power(17%),and residential(26%)sectors were the most important sources of PM_(2.5)in Shahe.The glass factories(where chimney stack heights were normally<70 m)in Shahe contributed 32.1%of the total PM_(2.5)concentration in Shahe.With an in-crease in PM_(2.5)concentration,the emissions from glass factories accumulated vertically and narrowed horizontally.At times when pollution levels were severe,the horizontally influ-enced area mainly covered Shahe.Furthermore,sensitivity tests indicated that reducing emissions by 20%,40%,and 60% could lead to a decrease in themass concentration of PM_(2.5) of of 12.0%,23.8%,and 35.5%,respectively.Xiaoyong Liu Xiaole Pan Jie Li Xi Chen Hang Liu Yu Tian Yuting Zhang Shandong Lei Weijie Yao Qi Liao Yele Sun Zifa Wang Hong He 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5:1
16Transport Patterns and Potential Sources of Atmospheric Pollution during the ⅩⅩⅣ Olympic Winter Games Period显示文摘The attainment of suitable ambient air quality standards is a matter of great concern for successfully hosting the ⅩⅩⅣ Olympic Winter Games(OWG). Transport patterns and potential sources of pollutants in Zhangjiakou(ZJK) were investigated using pollutant monitoring datasets and a dispersion model. The PM_(2.5) concentration during February in ZJK has increased slightly(28%) from 2018 to 2021, mostly owing to the shift of main potential source regions of west-central Inner Mongolia and Mongolian areas(2015–18) to the North China Plain and northern Shanxi Province(NCPS) after 2018.Using CO as an indicator, the relative contributions of the different regions to the receptor site(ZJK) were evaluated based on the source-receptor-relationship method(SRR) and an emission inventory. We found that the relative contribution of pollutants from NCPS increased from 33% to 68% during 2019–21. Central Inner Mongolia(CIM) also has an important impact on ZJK under unfavorable weather conditions. 17Fast-chargingand dendrite-free lithiummetal anodeeenabledby partial lithiation ofgraphene aerogel显示文摘The development of deeply cyclable lithium metal batteries with fast-charging capability offers a promising solution to relieve the“range anxiety”in driving electric vehicles.Conventional lithium metal anodes suffered from low operating current densities and shallow charge/discharge depths,owing to the intrinsic dendrite growth governed by Sand’s law.Herein,we come up with a novel design of heavy-duty lithium metal anode fabricated by partially infusing the three-dimensional(3D)porous graphene aerogel with molten Li.Both electroanalytical measurements and simulations show that the unique electrode architecture brings notable advantages in mediating smooth Li plating/stripping,including reduced local current density,inhibited dendrite growth,buffered volume fluctuation,as well as more efficient Li utilization.Consequently,a remarkable cycling performance in symmetric cells for over 400 cycles(800 h)with an ultrahigh cycling capacity of 15 mAh·cm^(−2) at 15 mA·cm^(−2) is achieved,which,to our best knowledge,has been never seen in literature.LiFePO4 full cells demonstrate a superb rate capability up to 10 C and a prolonged cycling of 1,600 cycles at 2 C with the per-cycle capacity decay of only 0.023%.This study paves the way for the ultimate deployment of lithium metal batteries in real-world applications that require fast charging and deep cycling.Yong Ma Yuting Gu Ying He Le Wei Yuebin Lian Weiyi Pan Xinjian Li Yanhui Su Yang Peng Zhao Deng Zhongfan Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,11:1

19The capacity and mechanisms of various oxidants on regulating the redox function of ZVI显示文摘It is well known that zero-valent iron(ZVI)could catalyze the oxidation of various oxidants to realize the rapid oxidation removal of pollutants.However,in this study,we found that the addition of different oxidants could regulate the redox function of ZVI system.In three different co-treatment systems,the effects of different oxidizers(peroxymonosulfate(PMS),persulfate(PDS),hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)))dosages on the ratios of oxidative degradation rate and reductive degradation rate of p-nitrophenol(PNP)were studied.The effect of the H+released from oxidizers and the generated reactive oxygen species(ROS)in ZVI/PMS,ZVI/PDS,ZVI/H_(2)O_(2)systems were detailed discussed.Especially,the contribution of generated ROS for reductive degradation of PNP was quantified in the ZVI/H_(2)O_(2)system.Based on the results of TOC removal,UV-vis absorption spectra,and intermediates concentration curves,it was found that the degradation of PNP changed from reduction to oxidation with the increase of oxidant proportion.When the molar ratio of ZVI to oxidizer equal to 100,PNP was mainly degraded by reduction accompanied by slight oxidation.Combined with the results of SEM-EDS and XPS,it was confirmed that the enhanced degradation of PNP under the addition of oxidant was mainly related to the generated ROS,the additional H+,and the corrosion products of ZVI.Siqi Zou Qun Chen Yang Liu Yuting Pan Gang Yao Zhicheng Pan Bo Lai 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,6:1
