1Characterization of atomic defects on the photoluminescence in two-dimensional materials using transmission electron microscope显示文摘Two-dimensional material(2D)that possesses atomic thin geometry and remarkable properties is a star material for the fundamental researches and advanced applications.Defects in 2D materials are critical and fundamental to understand the chemical,physical,and optical properties.Photoluminescence arises in 2D materials owing to various physical phenomena including activator/dopant-induced luminescence and defect-related emissions,and so forth.With the advanced transmission electron microscopy(TEM)technologies,such as aberration correction and low voltage technologies,the morphology,chemical compositions and electronic structures of defects in 2D material could be directly characterized at the atomic scale.In this review,we introduce the applications of state-of-the-art TEM technologies on the studies of the role of atomic defects in the photoluminescence characteristics in 2D material.The challenges in spatial and time resolution are also discussed.It is proved that TEM is a powerful tool to pinpoint the relationship between the defects and the photoluminescence characteristics.Jiayan Zhang Ye Yu Peng Wang Chen Luo Xing Wu Ziqi Sun Jianlu Wang Wei Da Hu Guozhen Shen 2019InfoMat2019,1,1:6
2Two-and three-electrode impedance spectroscopic studies of graphite electrode in the first lithiation显示文摘The first lithiation of graphite electrode was investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) in a two-electrode button cell and a three-electrode glass cell. The results demonstrate that the study of the variation of EIS feature of the graphite electrode in the two-electrode button cell with electrode polarization potential decreasing in the first lithiation cannot be used to investigate the formation mechanism of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) film. However, the formation and growth process of the SEI film can be acquired by investigating the variation of EIS features of the graphite electrode in the three-electrode glass cell with the decrease of electrode po-larization potential in the first lithiation. 3Incidence and prevalence of moyamoya disease in urban China: a nationwide retrospective cohort study显示文摘Background and objective Moyamoya disease(MMD)is an increasingly recognised cause of stroke,mainly described in East Asia.China is the largest nation in Asia,but few studies reported the epidemiology of MMD,especially at a national level.We aimed to estimate the incidence and prevalence of MMD in China.Methods We performed a population-based study using data from the national databases of Urban Basic Medical Insurance between 2013 and 2016,covering approximately 0.50 billion individuals.MMD cases were identified by diagnostic code(International Classification of Diseases,10th Revision I67.5)or related diagnostic text.Results A total of 1987 MMD patients(mean age 44.45±14.30 years,female-to male ratio 1.12)were identified,representing a national crude incidence of 0.59(95%CI:0.49 to 0.68)and a prevalence of 1.01(95%CI:0.81 to 1.21)per 100000 person-years in 2016.Rates were higher in females than in males for the incidence(0.66 vs 0.52)and prevalence(1.05 vs 0.90).And the age-specific rates showed a bimodal distribution,with the highest peak in middle-aged group and the second peak in child group.Conclusions Our results confirm that MMD is relatively common in East Asians,but the rates in China were lower than those in other East Asian countries such as Japan and Korea.The unique epidemiological features,including a relatively weak female predominance and a shift in the highest peak of incidence from children to adults,revealed new sight into MMD.Further research is expected to explore the potential pathogenesis of MMD.Yixin Sun Guoyu Zhou Jingnan Feng Lu Chen Guozhen Liu Jinxi Wang Qingliang Wang Junyou Yu Xiwang Yang Zheng Yang Pei Gao Shengfeng Wang Siyan Zhan 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,4:4

5Effect of electroacpuncture of Neiguan(PC 6)and Tianquan(PC 2)on skin temperature,blood perfusion,and adrenoceptor response in rats with acute myocardial ischemia显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) of acupoints Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2) on the skin temperature, blood perfusion, and alpha1-and beta2-adrenoreceptor(α1-AR and β2-AR) protein and m RNA level in rats with acute myocardial ischemia.METHODS: Thirty male adult Wistar rats [(230 ±20) g] were randomly assigned into five groups(n = 6 each): a control group, sham operation group, model group, model group treated with EA at low frequency(L-EA, 2 Hz, 1 m A) and model group treated with EA at high frequency(H-EA, 100 Hz, 1 m A). The rat model was prepared by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery. Electroacupuncture was performed at the left Neiguan(PC 6) for 20 min daily for 3 d. After the 3 rd time of the treatment, measurements of skin blood perfusion and temperature in Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2) in all groups were made by laser speckle contrast imaging and infrared thermal image instrument. Real-time PCR and ELISA were used to measure m RNA level and protein level of α1-AR andβ2-AR in the skin tissues of Neiguan(PC 6) and Tianquan(PC 2), respectively. Serum levels of c Tn T and electrocardiogram were used to identify the state of myocardium.RESULTS: In the group receiving electroacupunture at Neiguan(PC 6), compared with control group,the skin temperature, blood perfusion, and β2-AR m RNA and protein level of model group significantly decreased(P < 0.05), α1-AR m RNA and protein level of model group significantly increased(P < 0.05);compared with model group, the skin temperature,blood perfusion, and β2-AR m RNA and protein level of L-EA significantly increased(P < 0.05), α1-AR m RNA and protein level of L-EA and H-EA significantly decreased(P < 0.05). 8Seed germinating characteristics of 54 gramineous species in the alpine meadow on the eastern Qinghai-Tibet plateau显示文摘The germination experiment was started on March 3,2004,and seeds were collected from July to October in 2003.We analyzed the percentage of germination,days to first germination,germination period and days to 50%germination.Among the 54 examined species,26 species exceeded 80%germination,11 species exceeded 60%–80%germination,8 exceeded 40%–0%,5 exceeded 20%–40%,and 4 showed less than 20%.A principalcomponent analysis revealed that the species were distributed along two statistically independent axes,the first primarily represented the germination rate and the second represented the time of germination process.Based on scores of germination characteristics,cluster analysis of the 54 gramineous species could be divided into 4 distinct groups:rapid,slow,intermediate germinating(germination percentage>50%),and low germinating(germination percentage<50%).The meaning of different groups to the vegetation regeneration was discussed.Haiyan BU Qingji REN Xiuli XU Kun LIU Peng JIA Shujun WEN Dashuai SUN Guozhen DU 2008Frontiers in Biology2008,3,2:1
9MXene quantum dot within natural 3D watermelon peel matrix for biocompatible flexible sensing platform显示文摘Environmentally friendly biomimetic materials with good deformability,high pressure-sensitive performance,and excellent biocompatibility are highly attractive for health monitoring,but to simultaneously meet these requirements is a formidable challenge.In this study,biocompatible MXene quantum dot(MQD)/watermelon peel(WMP)aerogels were obtained by immersing freeze-dried fresh watermelon peel into the quantum dot dispersion.The resulting bio-aerogels with a three-dimensional(3D)porous network structure exhibited a low in elasticity modulus(0.03 MPa)and limit of detection(0.4 Pa)and it showed biocompatibility.With a maximum pressure-sensitive response of 323 kPa^(-1),the 3D porous MQD/WMP aerogels exhibited good stability.In addition,the sensing signals could be displayed on mobile phones through a Bluetooth module to monitor human motion(pulse,sound,and walking)in real time.More importantly,the MQD/WMP aerogels exhibited excellent biocompatibility in a cytotoxicity test,thus decreasing the safety risk when they are applied to human skin.The finding in this study will facilitate the fabrication of high-performance biomimetic MXene active matrices,which are derived from natural biological materials,for flexible electronics.Jinzi Sun Hui Du Zhaojun Chen Lili Wang Guozhen Shen 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

11Transparent conductive reduced graphene oxide thin films produced by spray coating显示文摘Reduced graphene oxide thin films were fabricated on quartz by spray coating method using a stable dispersion of reduced graphene oxide in N,N-Dimethylformamide.The dispersion was produced by chemical reduction of graphene oxide,and the film thickness was controlled with the amount of spray volume.AFM measurements revealed that the thin films have near-atomically flat surface.The chemical and structural parameters of the samples were analyzed by Raman and XPS studies.It was found that the thin films show electrical conductivity with good optical transparency in the visible to near infrared region.The sheet resistance of the films can be significantly reduced by annealing in vacuum and reach 58 k?with a light transmittance of 68.69%at 550 nm.The conductive transparent properties of the reduced graphene oxide thin films would be useful to develop flexible electronics.SHI HongFei WANG Can SUN ZhiPei ZHOU YueLiang JIN KuiJuan YANG GuoZhen 2015Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2015,58,1:1

13The Deformation Analysis of the 3D Alignment Control Network Based on the Multiple Congruence Models显示文摘In the construction and maintenance of particle accelerators,all the accelerator elements should be installed in the same coordinate system,only in this way could the devices in the actual world be consistent with the design drawings.However,with the occurrence of the movements of the reinforced concrete cover plates at short notice or building deformations in the long term,the control points upon the engineering structure will be displaced,and the fitness between the subnetwork and the global control network may be irresponsible.Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the deformations of the 3D alignment control network.Different from the extant investigations,in this paper,to characterize the deformations of the control network,all of the congruent models between the points measured in different epochs have been identified,and the congruence model with the most control points is considered as the primary or fundamental model,the remaining models are recognized as the additional ones.Furthermore,the discrepancies between the primary S-transformation parameters and the additional S-transformation parameters can reflect the relative movements of the additional congruence models.Both the iterative GCT method and the iterative combinatorial theory are proposed to detect multiple congruence models in the control network.Considering the actual work of the alignment,it is essential to identify the competitive models in the monitoring network,which can provide us a hint that,even the fitness between the subnetwork and the global control network is good,there are still deformations which may be ignored.The numerical experiments show that the suggested approaches can describe the deformation of the 3D alignment control network roundly.Xudong ZHANG Wenjun CHEN Xiaodong ZHANG Yajun ZHENG Bin ZHANG Shaoming WANG Jiandong YUAN Guozhen SUN 2023Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2023,6,2:0

15Normal-Weight Abdominal Obesity: A Risk Factor for Hypertension and Cardiometabolic Dysregulation显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to examine the associations of waist circumference with hypertension and cardiometabolic dysregulation among normal-weight adults.Methods:This cross-sectional study included 8795 normal-weight participants aged 20 to 79 years from the 2009–2018 US National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.The demographic characteristics and cardiometabolic risk factors across waist circumference quartiles were summarized.We used adjusted multivariate logistic regression models,subgroup analysis,and restricted cubic spline to analyze the association between waist circumference and the prevalence of hypertension.Thereafter,we used the random forest supervised machine learning method,together with least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression,to select hypertension-related features and created a predictive model based on regression analysis to identify hypertension in normal-weight individuals.Results:Waist circumference was positively correlated with hypertension in the non-adjusted,minimally adjusted,and fully adjusted models,with odds ratios(95%confidence interval)of 2.28(2.14–2.44),1.27(1.12–1.44),and 1.27(1.12–1.44),respectively.In the fully adjusted model,participants in the highest waist circumference quartile had a higher risk of hypertension relative to those in the lowest quartile,with an odds ratio(95%confidence interval)of 3.87(1.59–10.34).Sensitivity analysis demonstrated the robustness of the association.In the testing set,the predictive model exhibited good performance,with an area under the curve of 0.803,sensitivity of 0.72,specificity of 0.76,and negative predictive value of 0.84.Conclusions:Measuring waist circumference may improve the evaluation of the risk of hypertension and help to manage cardiometabolic risk in normal-weight individuals.Jinyu Sun Qiang Qu Yue Yuan Guozhen Sun Xiangqing Kong Wei Sun 2022Cardiology Discovery2022,2,1:0
