| 1 | Monitoring of atmospheric radionuclides from the Fukushima nuclear accident and assessing their impact on Xi'an, China显示文摘Aerosol radionuclides (131I, 134Cs, 137Cs) and gaseous radioactive xenon (133Xe) were monitored at Xi'an, China following the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in March 2011. The additional annual effective dose attributable to the Fukushima emissions was much lower than the public annual effective dose from natural radiation, according to Chinese national standards. The monitoring results were compared with data from other countries as well as with the radionuclide concentrations observed in Xi'an after the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986. Possible transport pathways of the released radionuclides from Fukushima to Xi'an were investigated. | 3 | Enhanced endosomal escape of dendrigraft poly-L-lysine polymers for the efficient gene therapy of breast cancer显示文摘Dendrimer,such as dendrigraft poly-L-lysine(DGL)polymers,with high surface charge density,well-defined structure,and narrow poly-dispersity is often employed as a gene vector,but its transfection efficiency is still partially inhibited due to poor endosomal escape ability.Herein,we used a surface modification strategy to enhance the endosomal escape ability of DGL polymers,and thus improved its gene transfection efficiency.A library of phenylboronic acid(PBA)modified DGL polymers(PBA-DGLs)was designed to screen efficient small interfering RNA(siRNA)vectors.The lead candidate screened from the library shown a capability of inducing nearly 90% gene silencing in MDA-MB-231 cells.The study of the transfection mechanism revealed that PBA modification not only improves siRNA cellular uptake,but,more importantly,endows DGL polymers the ability of endosomal escape.One of the top candidates from polyplexes was further shielded with hyaluronic acid to construct targeted nanoparticles,and the yielding nanoparticles significantly suppressed the tumor growth in a breast cancer model by effective siRNA delivery.This research provides a general and effective strategy to enhance the endosomal escape and transfection efficiency of dendrimer. | Li Ye Hongmei Liu Xin Fei Ding Ma Xiaozhen He Qianyun Tang Xue Zhao Hanbing Zou Xiaojing Chen Xianming Kong Peifeng Liu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1 |

| 6 | The establishment of a new deliverability equation considering threshold pressure gradient显示文摘The flowing mechanism of a low permeability gas reservoir is different from a conventional gas reservoir,especially for that with higher irreducible water saturation the threshold pressure gradient exists. At present,in all the deliverability equation,the additional pressure drop caused by the threshold pressure gradient is viewed as constant,but this method has big error in the practical application. Based on the non-Darcy steady flow equation,the limited integral of the additional pressure drop is solved in this paper and it is realized that the additional pressure drop is not a constant but has something to do with production data,and a new deliverability equation is derived,with the relevant processing method for modified isochronal test data. | 7 | High halogenated nitrobenzene hydrogenation selectivity over nano Ir particles显示文摘The selective hydrogenation of halogenated nitrobenzene over noble metal catalysts(Pd, Pt, and Ir) has attracted much attention owing to its high efficiency and environmental friendliness. However, the effect of size on the catalytic performance varies among different metal catalysts. In this study, sub-nano(<3 nm) Ir and Pd particles were prepared, and their catalytic properties for hydrogenation of halogenated nitrobenzene were evaluated.Results show that high selectivity(N 99%) was achieved over small Ir nanoparticles, in which the selectivity over the Pd with same size was much lower than that on Ir nanoparticles. Meanwhile, Ir and Pd have different hydrogen consumption rates and reaction rates. Density functional theory calculations showed that p-chloronitrobenzene(CNB) has different adsorption properties on Ir and Pd. The distance between oxygen(cholorine) and Ir is much shorter(longer) than that between oxygen and Pd. The reaction barriers of dechlorination of p-CNB and p-chloroaniline over different Ir models are much larger than those on Pd. Especially,lower coordination of Ir leads to larger barriers of dechlorination reaction. | 8 | Suppressing the dissolution of vanadium by organic-inorganic hybrid for aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Vanadium-based materials have been considered as the high promising cathodes for aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs).Nevertheless,the dissolution of vanadium,the structural instability and the poor cy-cling stability largely hindered their applications.Metal organic frameworks(MOFs)and their deriva-tives attracted wide attention for their large specific surface area and structural tunability.Herein,MOFs derived·VO_(2)·Zn_(2)V_(2)O_(7)(MVHA)as organic-inorganic hybrids were constructed by the in-situ substitution method.The mixed valences of V 4+and V 5+between VO_(2)(B)and Zn_(2)V_(2)O_(7)were helpful to improve the electronic conductivity of MVHA cathode,and MOF-5-V acted as a physical barrier to inhibit the ca-thodic dissolution attributing to the particular organic frame structure.The obtained hybrid electrodes could deliver a high specific capacity(312.7 mA h g^(−1)at 1 A g^(−1)),and excellent long-term cycle stability(141.2 mA h g^(−1)after 1000 cycles at 10 A g^(−1)).Assistant density functional theory(DFT)calculations in-dicated that it has an ultra-low diffusion barrier of 0.32 eV for optimal Zn 2+diffusion path in MOF-5-V.The intriguing idea of in-situ compositing vanadium oxide and MOFs derived material opens up a new research direction for high-energy secondary batteries. | Zexiang Luo Zhen Liu Hanbing He Zhihao Zhang Yong Chen Chaoqun Peng Jing Zeng | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,14: | 0 |
