1Management of cytokine release syndrome related to CAR-T cell therapy显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy is a novel cellular immunotherapy that is widely used to treat hematological malignancies, including acute leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Despite its remarkable clinical effects, this therapy has side effects that cannot be underestimated. Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) is one of the most clinically important and potentially life-threatening toxicities. This syndrome is a systemic immune storm that involves the mass cytokines releasing by activated immune cells. This phenomenon causes multisystem damages and sometimes even death. In this study, we reported the management of a patient with recurrent and refractory multiple myeloma and three patients with acute lymphocytic leukemia who suffered CRS during CAR-T treatment. The early application of tocilizumab, an anti-IL-6 receptor antibody, according to toxicity grading and clinical manifestation is recommended especially for patients who suffer continuous hyperpyrexia, hypotensive shock, acute respiratory failure, and whose CRS toxicities deteriorated rapidly. Moreover, low doses of dexamethasone (5-10 mg/day) were used for refractory CRS not responding to tocilizumab. 2mm Wave communications for 5G: implementation challenges and advances显示文摘The requirement of the fifth generation(5 G) wireless communication for high throughput motivates the wireless industry to use the mm Wave(millimeter wave) communications for its wide bandwidth advantage. To compensate the heavy path loss and increase the communications capacity, phased array beamforming and massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) techniques are employed at both the user equipment(UE) and base stations(BS). Considering the commercial requirements, 5 G mm Wave large array systems should be implemented in an energy-and cost-efficient way with a small form factor. To address above issues and realize a reliable communications link, taking into account the particular characteristics of5 G mm Wave systems, this paper firstly examines the design challenges and trade-offs in system implementations, then some of the design strategies are summarized. 3Flow Control for a Two-Stage Proportional Valve with Hydraulic Position Feedback显示文摘The current research mainly focuses on the flow control for the two-stage proportional valve with hydraulic position feedback which is named as Valvistor valve.Essentially,the Valvistor valve is a proportional throttle valve and the flow fluctuates with the change of load pressure.The flow fluctuation severely restricts the application of the Valvistor valve.In this paper,a novel flow control method the Valvistor valve is provided to suppress the flow fluctuation and develop a high performance proportional flow valve.The mathematical model of this valve is established and linearized.Fuzzy proportional-integral-derivative(PID)controller is adopted in the closed-loop flow control system.The feedback is obtained by the flow inference with back-propagation neural network(BPNN)based on the spool displacement in the pilot stage and the pressure differential across the main orifice.The results show that inference with BPNN can obtain the flow data fast and accurately.With the flow control method,the flow can keep at the set point when the pressure differential across the main orifice changes.The flow control method is effective and the Valvistor valve changes from proportional throttle valve to proportional flow valve.For the developed proportional flow valve,the settling time of the flow is very short when the load pressure changes abruptly.The performances of hysteresis,linearity and bandwidth are in a high range.The linear mathematical model can be verified and the assumptions in the system modeling is reasonable.He Wang Xiaohu Wang Jiahai Huang Long Quan 2020Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2020,33,6:6
4U-Pb Geochronology, Elemental and Sr-Nd Isotopic Geochemistry of the Houyaoyu Granite Porphyries: Implication for the Genesis of Early Cretaceous Felsic Intrusions in East Qinling显示文摘The Early Cretaceous Houyaoyu granite porphyries are located in the south margin of the North China Craton. Field observations, petrography, geochronology, major and trace elemental and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions are reported to elucidate the genesis of the Houyaoyu granite porphyries. SIMS zircon U-Pb analyses for the Houyaoyu granite porphyries yield two concordant ages of 133.2± 2.3(2σ) and 131± 1.1(2σ) Ma, respectively. Major and trace elemental compositions indicate that these porphyries are high-K I-type granites with high contents of Si O2, K2 O, Rb, U, Pb, low Nb, Ta, Ti, and P. Initial 87 Sr/86 Sr ratios range from 0.708 3 to 0.709 7, and εNd(t) values range from-9.13 to-12.3, with corresponding two-stage depleted-mantle Nd model ages(T2 DM) varying from 1.57 to 1.91 Ga. This suggests that the Houyaoyu granite porphyries were predominantly derived from ancient lower continental crust, with minor involvement of mantle-derived components. 5Temperature influence on macro-mechanics parameter of intact coal sample containing original gas from Baijiao Coal Mine in China显示文摘Investigation of temperature effect on mechanical parameters of coal is very important for understanding the mechanical response of coal bed at high temperature.It is especially benefcial for mitigating the thermal-induced disasters occurred in those coal mines suffering from heat hazard.In this work,coal samples,obtained from the No.2442 working face of Baijiao Coal Mine,were subjected to uniaxial compression ranging from 20 to 40℃ with an interval of 5℃.The apparatus used was designed to obtain deformation of a stressed sample,as well as the emission of gases desorbing from coal matrix.The adsorbed gas desorption caused by heating is measured during the entire testing.It is evident that the concentrations of releasing gas(containing methane,carbon dioxide and ethane)slightly rise with increasing temperature.Gas movement observed is closely related to the deformation of coal sample.Both uniaxial compressive strength and elastic modulus of coal samples tend to reduce with temperature.It reveals that increasing temperature can not only result in thermal expansion of coal,but also lead to desorption of preexisting gas in coal which can in turns harden coal due to shrinks of the coal matrix.Even though desorption of adsorbed gas can contribute to the hardening effect for the heated coal,by comparison to the results,it could be inferred that the softening of coal resulted from thermal expansion still predominates changes in mechanical characters of coal sample with temperature at the range from20 to 40℃.Wang Chunguang He Manchao Zhang Xiaohu Liu Zhaoxia Zhao Tongbin 2013International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,4:4
6New discoveries from the classic Quaternary mammalian fossil area of Yanjinggou,Chongqing,and their chronological explanations显示文摘Yanjinggou in Wanzhou District of Chongqing is one of the earliest reported and most famous Quaternary mammalian fossil areas in China.The fauna from this area used to be taken as a benchmark for the biochronological comparison of Quaternary paleontology of South China,but the chronology of this fauna has many controversies for the lack of exact locational and stratigraphical records.The present article,on the basis of recent investigations and discoveries,discusses and explains the distribution and biochronology of the mammalian faunas in the Yanjinggou area.The newly discovered Dayakou fissure fauna,including Rhizomys troglodytes,Homotherium sp.,Panthera pardus,Stegodon orientalis,Dicerorhinus sumatrensis,Hesperotherium sinense,Sus sp.,Cervavitus fenqii,Cervus sp.and Muntiacus sp.,is correlated to the middle Early Pleistocene.The presence of Early Pleistocene mammalian fauna in the Yanjinggou area is therefore confirmed.The'Wanhsien fauna'or'Yenchingkou(=Yanjinggou)fauna'as a Mid-Late Pleistocene biostratigraphical datum should be abandoned.The Dayakou fauna and the Upper Cave fauna of Pingba,both in the Yanjinggou area,are correlated to the middle Early Pleistocene and the early Middle Pleistocene in age,respectively.CHEN ShaoKun PANG LiBo HE CunDing WEI GuangBiao HUANG WanBo YUE ZongYing ZHANG XiaoHu ZHANG Hua QIN Li 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,31:4
7Self‐suspended rare‐earth doped up‐conversion luminescent waveguide:propagating and directional radiation显示文摘Near-infrared excited rare-earth(RE)-doped up-conversion(UC)-luminescent materials have attracted enormous attention because of their unique emission properties,such as narrow emission bands,long luminescence lifetimes,and multiple colors.However,current development of RE-doped luminescent material is hindered by weak and narrowband absorption problems and low photon-conversion quantum efficiencies.In addition to conventional approaches to enhance fluorescence intensity,controlling emission directivity to improve detection efficiency has become a promising approach to obtain higher luminescence brightnesses.In this paper,a self-suspended RE-doped UC luminescent waveguide is designed to realize directional emissions.Benefitting from the special morphology of the crown-like NaYF4:Yb3+/Er3+microparticle,the points contact between the waveguide and substrate can be obtained to decrease energy loss.An attractive UC luminescent pattern accompanied by powerful and controllable directional emissions is observed,and the spatial emission angle and intensity distribution are explored and analyzed in detail by introducing Fourier imaging detection and simulation.This work provides a new method for achieving controllable directional fluorescence emissions and obtaining improved detection efficiency by narrowing emission directivity,which has potential applications in 3-dimensional displays and micro-optoelectronic devices,especially when fabricating self-fluorescence micron lasers.Changjian Zhang Chengyun Zhang Zhenglong Zhang Tao He Xiaohu Mi Ting Kong Zhengkun Fu Hairong Zheng Hongxing Xu 2020Opto-Electronic Advances2020,3,6:3

10Enrichment of Platinum-group Elements(PGE) and Re-Os Isotopic Tracing for Porphyry Copper(Gold) Deposits显示文摘Platinum-group elements(PGE) in PGE-rich porphyry copper(gold) deposits are mainly Pt and Pd,whereas the concentrations of other PGE(Ru,Rh,Os,Ir) are significantly low.Moreover,Pt and Pd mainly exist in sulfides in the forms of crystal lattice or tiny platinum-group mineral(PGM) inclusions.The present data show that there is a positive relationship between Pt and Pd concentrations and Cu(Au) in porphyry copper(gold) deposits.The comparison of chondritenormalized PGE distribution patterns between the ore-bearing porphyry intrusions and ore-barren porphyry intrusions in arc setting,187Os/188 Os,87Sr/86 Sr and S isotopes for porphyry copper(gold) deposits shows that PGEs were mainly derived from the mantle,and fluids from subduction zones devoted trivial PGE to the magma.The porphyry copper(gold) deposits associated with subducted events are most probably enriched in PGE,whereas those related to crustal thickening,lithospheric delamination or underplating rarely concentrate PGE.The osmium isotopic compositions in porphyry copper(gold) deposits reveal that(187Os/188Os)i values are highly variable and not lower than those of primitive upper mantle(PUM) and mantle peridotite,however,osmium concentrations are commonly lower than mantle peridotite,suggesting that parental magmas of some porphyry intrusions had experienced crustal contamination during magma evolution.Experimental investigations have proved that PGE exist in the forms of Cl- and HS- complexes during transportation and migration of the oreforming fluids.This paper summarizes previous studies including crucial controlling factors and mechanisms for PGE enrichment,and points out that the mantle-derived magmas parental to porphyry intrusions are the prerequisite for PGE enrichment in porphyry copper(gold) deposits.Favorable physical and chemical conditions(including salinity,temperature,pressure,pH,and oxygen fugacity) in hydrothermal fluids crucially control the PGE enrichment,and sulfur concentrations of melts play important roles in this process as well.HE Xiaohu ZHONG Hong ZHU Weiguang BAI Zhongjie HU Wenjun 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,4:2
11The Changhsingian Foraminiferal Fauna of the Meishan D Section, Zhejiang, China, and their Ecostratigraphic Implications显示文摘Samples were collected continuously and systematically from Beds 2 to 30 of the Meishan D section, and nearly 4,000 foraminiferal specimens were recognized. In total, 72 species(partially including undetermined species and conformis species) in 34 genera of foraminifers were identified. Twelve foraminiferal community zones were established from Beds 2 to 27 based on the abundance, dominance, diversity, and equitability of the foraminiferal fauna and a functional morphological analysis of the dominant and characteristic species. The habitat type indicated by each community zone and the sedimentary features were used to determine the paleo-water depths and the relative changes in sea level. We generated curves of both the habitat type and the hydrodynamic conditions, which together indicate the relative changes in the paleo-water depth and the substrate features in the studied area during the Changhsingian. 13Concentration and separation of vanadium from alkaline media by strong alkaline anion-exchange resin 717显示文摘With strong alkaline anion-exchange resin 717 as the sorbent and NaOH solution as the eluent,a study on the sorption from alkaline solution and elution of vanadium(V),silicon(Ⅳ),and aluminium(Ⅲ) was carried out.Different parameters affecting the sorption and elution process,including temperature,pH values as well as the ratio of resin to solution,were investigated.The results show that sorption degree of vana-dium(V) increases with a decrease of pH values,and V(V) ions are easier sorbed than Si(Ⅳ) and Al(Ⅲ) ions under the same conditions.The sorption degree of V(V),Si(Ⅳ),and Al(Ⅲ) at pH 9.14 for 15 min are 90.6%,33.5%,and 21.6%,respectively.Si(Ⅳ),Al(Ⅲ),and V(V) ions sorbed on 717 resin were eluted by use of 2 mol·L-1 NaOH solution;the desorption degree of V(V),Si(Ⅳ),and Al(Ⅲ) for 5 min are 81.7%,99.1%,and 99.3%,respectively.HUANG Jinwen SU Peng WU Wenwei LIAO Sen QIN Huiquan WU Xuehang HE Xiaohu TAO Liujia FAN Yanjin 2010Rare Metals2010,29,5:1
14Identifying the leucogranites in the Ailaoshan-Red River shear zone:Constraints on the timing of the southeastward expansion of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The uplift of the Tibetan Plateau significantly affected the global climate system.However,the timing of its uplift and the formation of its vast expanse are poorly understood.The occurrence of two types of leucogranites(the two-mica leucogranites and garnet-bearing leucogranites) identified in the Ailaoshan-Red River(ASRR) shear zone suggests an extension event in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau.The age of these leucogranites could be used to constrain the timing of uplift and southeastward expansion of the plateau.Petrography,geochronology and geochemistry investigations,including Sr-Nd isotope analysis,were conducted on the two-mica leucogranites and garnet-bearing leucogranites from the ASRR shear zone.LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating indicates that these rocks were emplaced at ~27 Ma,implying that the Tibetan Plateau had already achieved maximum uplift prior to the late Oligocene.It subsequently started to expand southeastward as a result of crustal flow.Compared to classic metapelite-derived leucogranites from Himalaya,the two-mica leucogranites show high K_2 O/Na_2 O(1.31-1.92),low Rb/Sr,CaO,lower ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios(0.7089-0.7164) and higher ε_(Nd)(t)(-8.83 to-3.10).This whole-rock geochemical characteristics likely indicates a mixing source origin,composed predominantly of amphibolite with subordinated metapelite,which is also evidenced by ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr vs.ε_(Nd)(t) diagram.However,The garnetbearing leucogranites with high SiO_2 contents(72.25-74.12 wt.%) have high initial ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios(0.7332-0.7535) and low ε_(Nd)(t)(-16.36 to 18.98),indicating that they are derived from the source comprised of metapelite and results of fluexed muscovite melting under lower crustal level,which is also evidenced by the Rb-Sr-Ba systematics.These leucogranites formed from partial melting of the thickened lower crust,which resulted in the formation of granitic melt that weakened the crust.The weakened crust aided the left-lateral strikeslip movement of the ASRR shear zone,triggering the escape of the Indochina terrane in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau during the late Oligocene.Xiaohu He Shucheng Tan Jiaxi Zhou Zheng Liu Zhifang Zhao Siqi Yang Yahui Zhang 2020Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,3:1

16The continuous wavelet projections algorithm: A practical spectral-feature-mining approach for crop detection显示文摘Spectroscopy can be used for detecting crop characteristics. A goal of crop spectrum analysis is to extract effective features from spectral data for establishing a detection model. An ideal spectral feature set should have high sensitivity to target parameters but low information redundancy among features.However, feature-selection methods that satisfy both requirements are lacking. To address this issue,in this study, a novel method, the continuous wavelet projections algorithm(CWPA), was developed,which has advantages of both continuous wavelet analysis(CWA) and the successive projections algorithm(SPA) for generating optimal spectral feature set for crop detection. Three datasets collected for crop stress detection and retrieval of biochemical properties were used to validate the CWPA under both classification and regression scenarios. The CWPA generated a feature set with fewer features yet achieving accuracy comparable to or even higher than those of CWA and SPA. With only two to three features identified by CWPA, an overall accuracy of 98% in classifying tea plant stresses was achieved, and high coefficients of determination were obtained in retrieving corn leaf chlorophyll content(R^(2)= 0.8521)and equivalent water thickness(R^(2)= 0.9508). The mechanism of the CWPA ensures that the novel algorithm discovers the most sensitive features while retaining complementarity among features. 18Stratigraphic Framework of the Cryogenian in China显示文摘The Cryogenian is a critical period in the history of the Earth. It is marked by multiple extreme climate changes that caused alternating global glacial and interglacial intervals. These dramatically changed the sedimentary system, and metal ores and source rocks distributed widely during this period. Therefore, studying the Cryogenian stratigraphic framework and sedimentary basins is important to improve the stratigraphic resolution for metal mineral and hydrocarbon prospecting and exploration in China. This review paper firstly divides three tectonic-stratigraphic regions in China in the Cryogenian, including the tectonic-stratigraphic regions of Great South China, Xingmeng-Tarim, and North China. Secondly, geochronologic data and geological records are combined to clearly depict the Cryogenian sedimentary sequence of continental blocks and micro-continental blocks in different tectonic-stratigraphic regions. The results were used to propose a new comparison scheme of stratigraphy for the Cryogenian in China. 20DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys Data Release 9:Cosmological constraints from galaxy clustering and weak lensing using the minimal bias model显示文摘We present a tentative constraint on cosmological parameters Ω_(m) and σ_(8) from a joint analysis of galaxy clustering and galaxygalaxy lensing from DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys Data Release 9(DR9),covering approximately 10000 square degrees and spanning the redshift range of 0.1 to 0.9.To study the dependence of cosmological parameters on lens redshift,we divide lens galaxies into seven approximately volume-limited samples,each with an equal width in photometric redshift.To retrieve the intrinsic projected correlation function w_(p)(r_(p))from the lens samples,we employ a novel method to account for redshift uncertainties.Additionally,we measured the galaxy-galaxy lensing signal ΔΣ(r_(p))for each lens sample,using source galaxies selected from the shear catalog by applying our Fourier Quad pipeline to DR9 images.We model these observables within the flatΛCDM framework,employing the minimal bias model.To ensure the reliability of the minimal bias model,we apply conservative scale cuts:r_(p)>8 and 12 h^(-1)Mpc,for w_(p)(r_(p))and ΔΣ(r_(p)),respectively.Our findings suggest a mild tendency that S_(8)=σ_(8)√Ω_(m)/0.3increases with lens redshift,although this trend is only marginally significant.When we combine low redshift samples,the value of S8is determined to be 0.84±0.02,consistent with the Planck results but significantly higher than the 3×2 pt analysis by 2-5σ.Despite the fact that further refinements in measurements and modeling could improve the accuracy of our results,the consistency with standard values demonstrates the potential of our method for more precise and accurate cosmology in the future.Haojie Xu Hekun Li Jun Zhang Xiaohu Yang Pengjie Zhang Min He Yizhou Gu Jian Qin Zhaozhou Li Antonios Katsianis Ji Yao Zhaoyu Wang Yirong Wang Liping Fu 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,12:0
