1The 3-D structure of shear wave in South China and the southward extension of Tanlu fault显示文摘By processing the CSND Rayleigh wave data with the matched filter FTAN technique, Rayleigh wave dispersion for southeast China is obtained. The 4°×4°S wave dispersion of the pure path is calculated using random inversion scheme, and 3-D S wave velocity structure is set up. Incorporating the above-mentioned results with wide angle seismic sounding data, we studied structure framework and the extending of faults in this area, which demonstrates that the depth of Moho in South China varies from 30 to 40 km, shallower from west to east. The depth of Moho varies from 25 to 28 km for the offshore. The depth of the asthenosphere in upper mantle varies from 60 to 100 km. The depth difference of layers at the two sides of Tanlu fault is more than 10 km at the south part of the Yangtze River, and the fault extends downward more than 170 km. The fault exceeds the main land at Hainan Island and slips into the southern China Sea. 2Global patterns and changes of carbon emissions from land use during 1992e2015显示文摘Carbon emissions from land use(ELUC)are an important part of anthropogenic CO_(2) emissions,but its size and location remain uncertain,and our knowledge of the relationship between ELUC and GDP remains partial.We showed that the carbon emissions directly caused by land use change(direct ELUC)during 1992-2015 was 26.54 Pg C(1.15 Pg C yr^(-1)),with a decreased trend and a net reduction rate of0.15 Pg C yr^(-1).The areas that exhibited reductions were concentrated in South America,Central Africa,and Southeast Asia,and those with increments were scattered in Northwestern North America,Eastern South America,Central Africa,East Asia,and parts of Southeast Asia.For the indirect carbon emissions from the utilization of built-up land(indirect ELUC),it manifested an upward trend with a total emission of 27.51 Pg C(1.2 Pg C yr^(-1)).The total value resulted by global ELUC was $136.3×10^(9) US,and the value of annual was equivalent to 3.7 times the GDP of the Central African Republic in 2015($5.93×10^(9) US yr^(-1)).Among the 79 countries and regions considered in this study,54 represented the upward GDP with increased emissions,and only 25 experienced GDP growth with emission reductions.These findings highlight the pivotal role of land use change in the carbon cycle and the significance of coordinated development between GDP and carbon emissions.Shiqi Tian Shijie Wang Xiaoyong Bai Guangjie Luo Qin Li Yujie Yang Zeyin Hu Chaojun Li Yuanhong Deng 2021Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2021,,3:2

17SIRT1 activation synergizes with FXR agonism in hepatoprotection via governing nucleocytoplasmic shuttling and degradation of FXR显示文摘Farnesoid X receptor(FXR)is widely accepted as a promising target for various liver diseases;however,panels of ligands in drug development show limited clinical benefits,without a clear mechanism.Here,we reveal that acetylation initiates and orchestrates FXR nucleocytoplasmic shuttling and then enhances degradation by the cytosolic E3 ligase CHIP under conditions of liver injury,which represents the major culprit that limits the clinical benefits of FXR agonists against liver diseases.Upon inflammatory and apoptotic stimulation,enhanced FXR acetylation at K217,closed to the nuclear location signal,blocks its recognition by importin KPNA3,thereby preventing its nuclear import.Concomitantly,reduced phosphorylation at T442 within the nuclear export signals promotes its recognition by exportin CRM1,and thereby facilitating FXR export to the cytosol.Acetylation governs nucleocytoplasmic shuttling of FXR,resulting in enhanced cytosolic retention of FXR that is amenable to degradation by CHIP.SIRT1 activators reduce FXR acetylation and prevent its cytosolic degradation.More importantly,SIRT1 activators synergize with FXR agonists in combating acute and chronic liver injuries.In conclusion,these findings innovate a promising strategy to develop therapeutics against liver diseases by combining SIRT1 activators and FXR agonists.Shuang Cui Huijian Hu An Chen Ming Cui Xiaojie Pan Pengfei Zhang Guangji Wang Hong Wang Haiping Hao 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2:1
