1Modulating the local coordination environment of single-atom catalysts for enhanced catalytic performance显示文摘The local coordination environment of catalysts has been investigated ftor an extended period to obtain enhanced catalytic performance.Especially with the advancement of single-atom catalysts(SACs),research on the coordination environment has been advanced to the atomic level.The surrounding coordination atoms of central metal atoms play important roles in their catalytic activity,selectivity and stability.In recent years,remarkable improvements of the catalytic performance of SACs have been achieved by the tailoring of coordination atoms,coordination numbers and second-or higher-coordination shells,which provided new opportunities for the further development of SACs.In this review,the characterization of coordination environment,tailoring of the local coordination environment,and their related adjustable catalytic performance will be discussed.We hope this review will provide new insights on further research of SACs.Xinyuan Li Hongpan Rong Jiatao Zhang Dingsheng Wang Yadong Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,7:70
2Calcium dobesilate for diabetic retinopathy: a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Many randomized clinical controlled trials have confirmed the efficacy and safety of calcium dobesilate in treating diabetic retinopathy(DR).This systematic review critically evaluated the evidence that links calcium dobesilate to DR.In this fixed-effects meta-analysis,a total of 221 pertinent English-language articles published between January 1975 and October 2013 were identified.Systematic searches of PUBMED,Springer Link and the Cochrane Clinical Trials Database were conducted using the keywords 'diabetic retinopathy' and 'calcium dobesilate'.The extracted information included the study design,inclusion and exclusion criteria,setting,sample size,participant mean age,treatment regime,mean change in best corrected visual acuity,laboratory parameters,capillary fragility,intraocular pressure and fundus manifestations based on the findings of fluorescent angiography.The summary statistics indicated that calcium dobesilate was significantly associated with improving retinal microaneurysms(RR: 0.62,95%CI: 0.42?0.90,P=0.01),retinalhemorrhages(RR: 0.39,95% CI: 0.17?0.88,P=0.02); exudates(RR: 0.31,95% CI: 0.12?0.81,P=0.02),reduction of whole blood viscosity(MD: ?0.57 CP,95% CI: ?0.75 to ?0.38,P<0.001),plasma viscosity(MD: ?0.36 CP,95% CI: ?0.63 to ?0.09,P=0.01) and blood cholesterol(MD: ?0.48 mg m L?1,95% CI: ?0.64?0.33,P<0.00001).Intraocular pressure was also significantly reduced(MD: ?5.59 mm Hg,95% CI: ?6.69 to ?4.50,P<0.00001).The results indicate that calcium dobesilate effectively treats DR at the systematic and local ocular levels.ZHANG XinYuan LIU Wei WU ShanShan JIN JingLong LI WeiHong Wang NingLi 2015Science China(Life Sciences)2015,58,1:54
3Influence of different weather events on concentrations of particulate matter with different sizes in Lanzhou,China显示文摘The formation and development of weather events has a great impact on the diffusion,accumulation and transport of air pollutants,and causes great changes in the particulate pollution level.It is very important to study their influence on particulate pollution.Lanzhou is one of the most particulate-polluted cities in China and even in the world.Particulate matter(PM) including TSP,PM >10,PM 2.5 10,PM 2.5 and PM 1.0 concentrations were simultaneously measured during 2005-2007 in Lanzhou to evaluate the influence of three kinds of weather events-dust,precipitation and cold front-on the concentrations of PM with different sizes and detect the temporal evolution.The main results are as follows:(1) the PM pollution in Lanzhou during dust events was very heavy and the rate of increase in the concentration of PM 2.5 10 was the highest of the five kinds of particles.During dust-storm events,the highest peaks of the concentrations of fine particles(PM 2.5 and PM 1.0) occurred 3 hr later than those of coarse particles(PM >10 and PM 2.5 10).(2) The major effect of precipitation events on PM is wet scavenging.The scavenging rates of particles were closely associated with the kinds of precipitation events.The scavenging rates of TSP,PM >10 and PM 2.5 10 by convective precipitation were several times as high as those caused by frontal precipitation for the same precipitation amount,the reason being the different formation mechanism and precipitation characteristics of the two kinds of precipitation.Moreover,there exists a limiting value for the scavenging rates of particles by precipitation.(3) The major effect of cold-front events on particles is clearance.However,during cold-front passages,the PM concentrations could sometimes rise first and decrease afterwards,which is the critical difference in the influence of cold fronts on the concentrations of particulate pollutants vs.gaseous pollutants.Xinyuan Feng Shigong Wang 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,4:18

5Transmutation of ancient settlements and environmental changes between 6000-2000 aBP in the Chaohu Lake Basin, East China显示文摘Based on the temporal-spatial distribution features of ancient settlement sites from the middle and late Neolithic Age to the Han dynasty in the Chaohu Lake Basin of Anhui Province,East China,using the methods of GIS combined with the reconstructed paleoenvironment by the records of lake sediment since Holocene,the transmutation of ancient settlements with response to environmental changes in this area has been discussed.Studies show that the main feature of transmutation of ancient settlements from the middle and late Neolithic Age to the Han Dynasty was that the distribution of settlements in this area changed from high altitudes to low ones and kept approaching the Chaohu Lake with the passage of time.These could be the response to the climate change from warm-moist to a relatively warm-dry condition during the middle Holocene,leading to the lake level fluctuations.The large area of exposed land provided enough space for human activities.These indicate that the above changes in geomorphologic evolution and hydrology influenced by climate conditions affected the transmutation of ancient settlements greatly.The distribution pattern of settlement sites was that the number of sites in the west was more than in the east.This pattern may be related to the geomorphologic conditions such as frequent channel shifting of the Yangtze River as well as flood disasters during the Holocene optimum.Therefore,climate change was the inducement of the transmutation of ancient settlements in the Chaohu Lake Basin,which exerted great influence on the distribution,expansion and development of the ancient settlements.WU Li WANG Xinyuan ZHOU Kunshu MO Duowen ZHU Cheng GAO Chao ZHANG Guangsheng LI Lan LIU Li HAN Weiguang 2010Journal of Geographical Sciences2010,20,5:16
6Tectonic types and evolution of Ordovician proto-type basins in the Tarim region显示文摘The Ordovician system is an important target for exploration in the Tarim Basin. Restoration of the Ordovician tectono-depositional environment is a key basis for the study of the structural development history in Tarim block and the prediction of the favorable Ordovician reservoir belts (zones). Based on the surrounding tectonic settings, the litho-facies and sedimentary fill, the palaeo-geography, palaeoclimate and palaeo-ecology, and the structural deformation and magmatic eruptions, in this paper we combine the sedimentary fill in the basin with the development of the surrounding orogenic belts and re-build the proto-type basins of the different Ordovician periods. During the Ordovician period, the Tarim region was characterized by the composite of the interior cratonic depression with the peripheral cratonic depression. The interior cratonic depression in the central and western parts is mainly the depositional area of the platform facies while the peripheral cratonic depression in the eastern part is mainly the zone of deepwater basin facies, with the slope acting as the transition belt between them. During the Late Ordovician period, the closure of the Northern Kunlun Ocean and destruction of the trencharc-basin system in the Altyn Tagh region put the southern part of the Tarim block under compression and uplifting and turned the central and western parts of the carbonate platform into the mixed depositional continental shelf. The eastern region of the basin had the over-compensated flysch sedimentation with huge thickness, marking the drastic turn of the basin nature. 7Environmental changes during early-middle Holocene from the sediment record of the Chaohu Lake,Anhui Province显示文摘A typical lake sediment core is obtained from the Chaohu Lake in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,Anhui Province,China.The timing scale is constrained by AMS 14 C dating method.Climate proxies such as pollen and grain size in the core are analyzed to reconstruct the environment changes at this site approximately between 9870 and 2170 cal.a BP.The results indicate that at the research area, the climate in the early-middle Holocene had evolved through 3 stages.From 9870 to 6040 cal.a BP, proxy records show a warm and dry climate with low water levels after the late-glacial period.During this stage,cool and dry events occurred at about 8910 and 6060-6030 cal.a BP.Then,between 6040 and 4860 cal.a BP,the climate was humid and vegetation was more flourishing in the Chaohu Lake Valley.The Holocene Optimum occurred at 5840-5500 cal.a BP in the Chaohu Lake,showing the best condition of water and heat.Elm Decline occurred at the period of 5380-4930 cal.a BP.Since 4860 cal.a BP,the climate was warm and dry through 2170 cal.a BP as shown in both pollen spectrum and grain-size histories.Two obvious dry events occurred in 3760 and 2170 cal.a BP,respectively.At 2170 cal.a BP,the water level of the Chaohu Lake reached the lowest as the lakebed possibly exposed. 8Characteristics of carbonate gas pool and multistage gas pool formation history of Hetianhe gas field, Tarim Basin, Northwest China显示文摘Hetianhe is a big carbonate gas field which isfound and demonstrated in the period of 'Chinese NationalNinth 5-Year Plan'. The proved reserve of Hetianhe gas fieldis over 600 ×10~8 m^3. Its main producing layers are Carbon-iferous bioclastic limestone and Ordovician carbonate com-posed of buried hill. The former is stratified gas pool withwater around its side, and the latter is massive gas pool withwater in its bottom. The gases in the gas pools belong to drygases with normal temperature and pressure systems. Basedon the correlation of gas and source rock, the gases aremainly generated from Cambrian source rocks. According tothe researches on source rock and structure evolution, andthe observations on the thin section to reservoir bitumen andthe studies on homogenization temperature of fluid inclu-sions, the gas pool has been identified and divided into threeformation periods. The first is Late Caledonian when the oilgenerated from the Cambrian source rocks and migratedalong faults, as a form of liquid facies into Ordovician carbonate res-ervoir and accumulated there. After that, the crustuplifted, the oil reservoir had been destroyed. The second isLate Hercynian when condensate gases generated from theCambrian source rocks and migrated into Ordovician res-ervoir, as a form of liquid facies. Since the fractures hadreached P strata, so the trap might have a real poor preser-vation condition, and the large-scale gas pool formation hadnot happened. The third gas reservoir formation period oc-curred in Himalaya. The fractures on both sides of Hetianhegas field developed violently under the forces of compression,and thus the present fault horst formed. 9Advances and problems in hydrocarbon exploration in the Tazhong area, Tarim Basin显示文摘Located in the middle of the Tarim Basin, Tazhong is a typical area of compound reservoirs rich in oil and gas found in the Carboniferous, Silurian and Ordovician strata. The proved, probable and possible reserves (3P reserves) in the area amount to 5×108 tons, so it is of great significance to study the advances and problems in hydrocarbon exploration in the Tazhong area. On the basis of exploration history and analysis of scientific problems, we outline eight achievements: distribution characteristics of reservoirs, stages of reservoir formation, different sources of oil and gas and their respective contributions, the effective regional caprock and reservoir-caprock combinations dominating the vertical distribution of hydrocarbon reservoirs, the control of the Tazhong Palaeo-uplift on reservoir formation and establishing geologic models, structure balance belts influencing the reconstruction and residual potential of reservoirs after accumulation, the rules and mechanisms of fractures controlling oil and gas, and the types of favorable reservoirs and their characteristics of controlling oil and gas distribution. 10Types and Origin of Dolostones in Tarim Basin, Northwest China: Petrographic and Geochemical Evidence显示文摘In the Tarim Basin of northwestern China hydrocarbon deposits have been discovered in parts of the thick strata of Cambrian dolostones. Based on petrographic study, six types of dolostone have been distinguished: Type-1, pink mud-bearing silty crystalline dolostone (PMSD); Type-2, gypsum- and salt-bearing fine crystalline dolostone (GSFD); Type-3, fine crystalline dolostone with dolomite crystals with cloudy core and clear rim (CCFD); Type-4, deep gray mud-bearing silty crystalline dolostone (GMSD); Type-5, euhedral coarse crystalline dolostone (ECD); and Type-6, xenotopic coarse crystalline dolostone (XCD). Applying petrographic and geochemical methods, the genesis of the dolostones is studied in this paper. Normally, Type-1 dolostone shows U- and Mo-depleted characteristics, reflecting a more oxidized formation environment; High δ18O and the purple color are consistent with formation of Sabkha dolostones on a supratidal flat. Types 2, 3, 4 dolostones show strata formation, similar REE patterns and 87Sr/86Sr ratios with contemporaneous limestones, suggesting a penecontemporaneous origin from seawater. Types 5 and 6 dolostones commonly occur as interbedded rocks, indicating secondary genesis after diagenesis. Type-6 dolostone has the highest order degree (OD) values (average 0.86), the lowest oxygen isotope values and positive Eu anomalies, which are consistent with previously reported hydrothermal dolostones. Differently, Type-5 shows euhedral texture, higher δ18O value, similar REE characteristic and 87Sr/86Sr ratios in comparison with contemporaneous limestones, suggesting that this type might have been dolomitized by down-transferring evaporated seawater during shallow burial stage. 11Field investigations of high stress soft surrounding rocks and deformation control显示文摘Field investigations of high stress soft rock deformations show that the high stress soft rock roadway can slide with large deformation. Severe extrusion and floor heave can also be subsequently observed. The supported roadway can be locally damaged or completely fail, where the floor has a large deformation and/or is seriously damaged. The factors inducing large deformation of surrounding rocks in deep roadway are rock strengths, structure face cutting types, stress states, stress release, support patterns,and construction methods. Based on the deformation characteristics of high stress soft rock roadway, a comprehensive support scheme is proposed. The overall support technology of 'step-by-step and joint,hierarchical reinforcement' for roadway is presented, and the anchor cable and bolt parameters to check the design methods are also given. Finally, the proposed comprehensive support method 'bolt t metal mesh t U-steel arch t shortcrete t grouting and cable' is used in the extension section of east main haulage roadway at 850 m level of Qujiang coal mine. 12Transcriptional analysis and histochemistry reveal that hypersensitive cell death and H2O2 have crucial roles in the resistance of tea plant (Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze) to anthracnose显示文摘Anthracnose causes severe losses of tea production in China.Although genes and biological processes involved in anthracnose resistance have been reported in other plants,the molecular response to anthracnose in tea plant is unknown.We used the susceptible tea cultivar Longjing 43 and the resistant cultivar Zhongcha 108 as materials and compared transcriptome changes in the leaves of both cultivars following Colletotrichum fructicola inoculation.In all,9015 and 8624 genes were differentially expressed between the resistant and susceptible cultivars and their controls(0 h),respectively.In both cultivars,the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were enriched in 215 pathways,including responses to sugar metabolism,phytohormones,reactive oxygen species(ROS),biotic stimuli and signalling,transmembrane transporter activity,protease activity and signalling receptor activity,but DEG expression levels were higher in Zhongcha 108 than in Longjing 43.Moreover,functional enrichment analysis of the DEGs showed that hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)metabolism,cell death,secondary metabolism,and carbohydrate metabolism are involved in the defence of Zhongcha 108,and 88 key genes were identified.Protein–protein interaction(PPI)network demonstrated that putative mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)cascades are activated by resistance(R)genes and mediate downstream defence responses.Histochemical analysis subsequently validated the strong hypersensitive response(HR)and H2O2 accumulation that occurred around the hyphal infection sites in Zhongcha 108.Overall,our results indicate that the HR and H2O2 are critical mechanisms in tea plant defence against anthracnose and may be activated by R genes via MAPK cascades.Yuchun Wang Xinyuan Hao Qinhua Lu Lu Wang Wenjun Qian Nana Li Changqing Ding Xinchao Wang Yajun Yang 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:11

14N and P resorption in a pioneer shrub(Artemisia halodendron) inhabiting severely desertified lands of Northern China显示文摘Nutrient resorption is an important conservation mechanism for plants to overcome nutrient limitation in the less fertile area of desertified land.In the semi-arid Horqin Sandy Land of Northern China,the shrub Artemisia halodendron usually colonizes into the bare ground of severely desertified land as a pioneer species.It is,therefore,expected that A.halodendron will be less dependent on current nutrient uptake through efficient and proficient resorption of nutrients.In this study,we found that averaged nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)concentrations in senesced leaves significantly varied from 12.3 and 1.2 mg/g in the shifting sand dune to 15.9 and 1.9 mg/g in the fixed sand dune,respectively,suggesting that foliar N and P resorption of A.halodendron were more proficient in the shifting sand dune.In particular,positive relationships between nutrient concentrations in senesced leaves and soil nutrient availability indicate that A.halodendron in infertile habitats is more likely to manage with a low level of nutrients in senesced leaves,giving this species an advantage in infertile soil.Moreover,foliar N-and P-resorption efficiencies and proficiencies showed limited inter-annual variability although annual precipitation varied greatly among 2007–2009.However,N and P resorption of A.halodendron were not more efficient and proficient than those previously reported for other shrubs,indicating that the pioneer shrub in sand dune environments does not rely more heavily than other plants on the process of resorption to conserve nutrients.Incomplete resorption of nutrients in A.halodendron suggests that senesced-leaf fall would return litter with high quality to the soil,and thereby would indirectly improve soil nutrient availability.The restoration of desertified land,therefore,may be accelerated after A.halodendron pioneers into shifting sand dunes.YuLin LI Chen JING Wei MAO Duo CUI XinYuan WANG XueYong ZHAO 2014Journal of Arid Land2014,6,2:11

16Microstructural evolution and stress state related to mechanical properties of electron beam melted Ti-6Al-4V alloy modified by laser shock peening显示文摘This work characterizes microstructural evolutions of electron beam melted(EBM) Ti-6 Al-4 V alloy modified via laser shock peening(LSP).The depth stress distribution and tensile properties of EBM Ti-6 Al-4 V alloy were measured before and after LSP.The results indicate that microstructure consists of β phase with 7.2%±0.4% vol.% and balance α lamellar in EBM sample,and the α lamella was refined into nano-equiaxed grains and submicro-equiaxed grains after LSP.The dominant refinement mechanism is revealed during LSP.Stacking faults were found in the LSP-treated sample,and their corresponding planes were determined as(0001) basal plane,(1010) prismatic plane,and(1011) pyramidal plane obtained by high resolution transmission electron microscopy.The subgrains and high-angle grains formed during dynamic recrystallization were identified by selected area electron diffraction pattern.The LSP treatment produces a significantly residual compressive stress approximately-380 MPa with the depth of compressive stress layer reaching 450 μm.Strength and elongation of the EBM sample were significantly increased after LSP.The strength and ductility enhancements are attributed to compre s sive stress,grain refinement and grain gradient distribution of α phase.Liang Lan Xinyuan Jin Shuang Gao Bo He Yonghua Rong 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,15:11
17Forecast of Flood in Chaohu Lake Basin of China Based on Grey-Markov Theory显示文摘Flood is one kind of unexpected and the most common natural disasters, which is affected by many factors and has complex mechanism. At home and abroad, there is still no mature theory and method used for the long-term forecast of natural precipitation at present. In the present paper the disadvantages of grey GM (1, 1) and Markov chain are ana- lyzed, and Grey-Markov forecast theory about flood is put forward and then the modifying model is developed by making prediction of Chaohu Lake basin. Hydrological law was conducted based on the theoretical forecasts by grey system GM (1, 1) forecast model with improved Markov chain. 18Yushu earthquake synergic analysis using multimodal SAR datasets显示文摘The large earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale that occurred in Yushu County,Qinghai Province,China,on April 14,2010,caused a huge loss of life and major damage to people's properties.Using three modal synthetic-aperture radar(SAR) datasets,wide-swath SAR,interferometric SAR and polarimetric SAR,the following studies were conducted:(1) From Radarsat-2 wide swath SAR data,the regional geological structures and lithologic distribution characteristics of the Yushu earthquake were analyzed.(2) Using advanced land observing satellite/phased array L-band interferometric SAR data,the coseismic deformation field of the Yushu earthquake was obtained,and the size and spatial distribution of deformation were studied combining with the result of regional geological background analysis.(3) From Radarsat-2 polarimetric SAR data,the H-α-ρ method was used to extract the spatial distribution of building collapse caused by the earthquake in the Yushu urban area,and the reasons for the severe earthquake damage to buildings are also discussed and assessed.The study results demonstrate the effectiveness and important potential of using multimodal SAR data for synergic analysis and assessment of earthquake disasters.GUO HuaDong WANG XinYuan LI XinWu LIU Guang ZHANG Lu YAN ShiYong 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,31:9

20KIF2C:a novel link between Wnt/β-catenin and mTORCI signaling in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common primary liver malignancy and is the fourth-leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide.HCC is refractory to many standard cancer treatments and the prognosis is often poor,highlighting a pressing need to identify biomarkers of aggressiveness and potential targets for future treatments.Kinesin family member 2C(KIF2C)is reported to be highly expressed in several human tumors.Nevertheless,the molecular mechanisms underlying the role of KIF2C in tumor development and progression have not been investigated.In this study,we found that KIF2C expression was significantly upregulated in HCC,and that KIF2C up-regulation was associated with a poor prognosis.Utilizing both gain and loss of function assays,we showed that KIF2C promoted HCC cell proliferation,migration,invasion,and metastasis both in vitro and in vivo.Mechanistically,we identified TBC1D7 as a binding partner of KIF2C,and this interaction disrupts the formation of the TSC complex,resulting in the enhancement of mammalian target of rapamycin complexl(mTORCI)signal transduction.Additionally,we found that KIF2C is a direct target of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway,and acts as a key factor in mediating the crosstalk between Wnt/β-catenin and mTORCI signaling.Thus,the results of our study establish a link between Wnt/β-catenin and mTORCI signaling,which highlights the potential of KIF2C as a therapeutic target for the treatment of HCC.Shi Wei Miaomiao Dai Chi Zhang Kai Teng Fengwei Wang Hongbo Li Weipeng Sun Zihao Feng Tiebang Kang Xinyuan Guan Ruihua Xu Muyan Cai Dan Xie 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,10:8
