1Corrosion Resistance of Graphene-Reinforced Waterborne Epoxy Coatings显示文摘Graphene(G) was dispersed uniformly in water and used as an inhibitor in waterborne epoxy coatings.The effect of dispersed G on anticorrosion performance of epoxy coatings was evaluated.The composite coatings displayed outstanding barrier properties against H_2O molecule compared to the neat epoxy coating.Open circuit potential(OCP),Tafel and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)analysis con-?rmed that the corrosion rate exhibited by composite coatings with 0.5 wt%G was an order of magnitude lower than that of neat epoxy coating.Salt spray test results revealed superior corrosion resistance offered by the composite coating.Shuan Liu Lin Gu Haichao Zhao Jianmin Chen Haibin Yu 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,5:67
2Real-time Health Condition Evaluation on Wind Turbines Based on Operational Condition Recognition显示文摘针对大型风电机组运行工况和状态信息复杂,健康状态难以准确评价的问题,提出基于工况辨识的健康状态实时评价方法。该方法充分考虑机组运行工况的复杂性和多变性,采用工况辨识实现运行工况空间的划分。在各运行工况子空间,建立基于高斯混合模型(gaussianmixturemodel,GMM)多状态特征融合的健康状态评价模型。采用健康衰退指数(healthdegradationindex,HDI)作为机组健康状态评价指标,并给出健康衰退报警限的确定方法。该方法用于某1.5MW风电机组传动系统故障前的健康状态评价。结果表明,该方法提前监测到机组健康状态的衰退趋势,可实现故障的早期预报,避免严重故障发生,并为合理调整运行和安排维修提供依据。DONG Yuliang LI Yaqiong CAO Haibin HE Chengbing GU Yujiong 2013中国电机工程学报2013,33,11:12
3Numerical Simulation of Characteristics of CEX Ions in Ion Thruster Optical System显示文摘Charge exchange(CEX) ions could inflict severe damages on the ion thruster optical system.This article is aimed at investigating the characteristics of the CEX ions and their influences upon the optical system by means of particle-incell(PIC) ion simulation and Monte Carlo collision(MCC) methods.The results from numerical simulation indicate that despite the fact that CEX ions appear in the entire beamlet region near the ion optical system,the ones that present themselves downstream of the accelerator grid have good reason for attracting more attention.As their trajectories are significantly affected by the local electric field,a great number of CEX ions are accelerated toward grids resulting in sputtering erosion.When the influences of the CEX ions are considered in the numerical simulation,there could hardly be observed augments in the screen grid current,but the accelerator grid current increases from zero to 1.4% of the beamlet current.It can be understood from the numerical simulation that the CEX ions formed in the region far downstream of the accelerator grid should be blamed for the erosion on the downstream surface of the accelerator grid.Zhong Lingwei Liu Yu Li Juan Gu Zuo Jiang Haocheng Wang Haixing Tang Haibin 2010Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2010,23,1:5
4Computational Identification of Protein-Protein Interactions in Rice Based on the Predicted Rice Interactome Network显示文摘Plant protein-protein interaction networks have not been identified by large-scale experiments. In order to better understand the protein interactions in rice, the Predicted Rice Interactome Network (PRIN; http://gffzz138305caccaf4191h99vxoppcbuqn6oq6.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/ prin/) presented 76,585 predicted interactions involving 5,049 rice proteins. After mapping genomic features of rice (GO annotation, subcellular localization prediction, and gene expression), we found that a well-annotated and biologically significant network is rich enough to capture many significant functional linkages within higher-order biological systems, such as pathways and biological processes. Furthermore, we took MADS-box do- main-containing proteins and circadian rhythm signaling pathways as examples to demonstrate that functional protein complexes and biological pathways could be effectively expanded in our predicted network. 5Research on controllable alkaline soil degradation of 5-substituted chlorsulfuron显示文摘Sulfonylurea(SU) has become one class of the most important herbicides worldwide due to their ultralow application rate and mammalian toxicity. Recently application licenses of 3 classical SU herbicides chlorsulfuron, metsulfuron-methyl and ethametsulfuron were suspended due to their undesirable long persistence which is incompatible with the particular rotation planting system in China. Our previous study has discovered that electron-donating groups, especially dimethylamino and diethylamino substituents, on the 5 th position of the benzene ring in chlorsulfuron, greatly accelerated its degradation rate in an acidic soil(p H 5.41). Owing to the natural slower degradation of SUs in alkaline soil,dimethylamino and diethylamino substituted chlorsulfuron Ia and Ib were further studied in an alkaline soil(p H 8.46) with chlorsulfuron as a control. The experimental data indicated that the half-life of degradation(DT_(50)) of Ia was 3.36 days while Ib was 6.25 days which amounted to 30 and 15 folds faster than chlorsulfuron(DT_(50)84.53 days), respectively. The research confirmed that our newly-designed structures Ia and Ib can hasten their degradation rate in alkaline soil as well as in acidic soil. 10Toxicity evaluation of collagen hydrolysates from chrome shavings and their potential use in the preparation of amino acid fertilizer for crop growth显示文摘Resource utilization of chrome shavings(CS)has attracted a lot of attention from scientists and technologists in leather industry.Especially,the collagen hydrolysates extracted from CS are expected to find potential application values in agricultural field.However,there is no biotoxicity analysis of collagen hydrolysates from CS.Herein,the collagen hydrolysates with different molecular weights were produced from CS by three hydrolysis dechroming methods including alkaline hydrolysis,enzymatic hydrolysis and alkaline-enzymatic synergistic hydrolysis,and the optimal hydrolysis process of CS was designed and conducted.To evaluate their toxicity,the three collagen hydrolysates were formulated into a nutrient solution for zebrafish development.The obtained results indicated that the hydrolysates with low concentrations(less than 0.6 mg/mL)were safe and could promote the development for zebrafish embryos.Furthermore,the three collagen hydrolysates were utilized as organic nitrogen sources and formulated into amino acid water-soluble fertilizers(AAWSF)including alkaline type fertilizer(OH),enzymatic type fertilizer(M)and alkaline-enzymatic type fertilizer(OH-M)for the early soilless seeding cultivation of wheat,soybean and rapeseed.It is worth mentioning that the chromium contents in the prepared AAWSF were less than 10 mg/kg,which is far less than the limit value in the standard(China,50 mg/kg).The growth and development of seedlings(germination rate,plant height,fresh weight of leaves,soluble sugar content and chlorophyll content)were investigated.The corresponding results showed that the growth of seedlings watered with AAWSF was better compared with the other treatments,and the OH-M fertilizer had the best promoting effect on the seedlings growth and development,followed by the M and OH fertilizers.The safe toxicity assessment of the collagen hydrolysates will expand their application scope,and the use of collagen hydrolysates extracted from CS for seedlings growth also provides an effective and reason-able way to deal with the chromium-containing leather solid waste,which is an effective way to realize its resource utilization.Li Zhao Shengdong Mu Weixiang Wang Haibin Gu 2022Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2022,4,1:1

12Rapid self-healing,self-adhesive,anti-freezing,moisturizing,antibacterial and multi-stimuli-responsive PVA/starch/tea polyphenol-based composite conductive organohydrogel as flexible strain sensor显示文摘The complexity of application environment stimulates the development of wearable devices based on functional hydrogels.Among all the promising performances,self-healing and self-adhesion properties are ideal for hydrogel sensors,which can guarantee good accuracy,comfort and long service life.However,it is still a challenge to achieve simultaneous self-healing and self-adhesion in different environments(in the air,underwater and at low temperatures).Herein,a feasible new strategy was successfully carried out to prepare a starch-based composite conductive organohydrogel based on the reversible borate ester bonds formed by complexing starch/polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)/tea polyphenol(TP)with borax,and multiple hydrogen-bond interactions among PVA,starch,TP and ethylene glycol(EG).Silver nanoparticles(Ag-NPs),reduced and stabilized by TP,and MWCNTs(multi-walled carbon nanotubes)were introduced into the cross-linking networks to endow the resulting PBSTCE organohydrogel with considerable antibacterial property and conductivity,respectively.The organohydrogel possessed rapid self-healing(HE(self-healing efficiency)=96.07%in 90 s,both in the air and underwater,also at-20℃),considerable self-adhesion(both in the air and underwater,also at-20℃),remarkable stretchability(814%of elongation),anti-freezing(-20℃)and moisture-retention abilities,antibacterial activity,sensitive pH/sugar-responsiveness,and plasticity.The strain sensor formed by the PBSTCE organohydrogel can not only effectively record large-scale human motions(e.g.finger/wrist/elbow bending,walking,etc.),but also accurately capture subtle motion changes(e.g.breathing,chewing,swallowing,speaking,smiling and frowning).Moreover,the self-healed organohydrogel sensor also exhibited almost invariable mechanical,electrical and sensing behaviors.This work demonstrates a feasible strategy to construct multifunctional starch-based organohy-drogels,and promotes their efficient,stable and eco-friendly application as flexible wearable devices.Tao Ke Li Zhao Xin Fan Haibin Gu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,4:1

17Effects on the STAT3-shRNA in Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer Therapy: Design, Induction of Apoptosis, and Conjugation with Chitosan-Based Gene Vectors显示文摘STAT3 plays a particularly important role in several cancer-related signal transduction pathways.Silencing STAT3 via RNA interference or small molecule inhibitors induces the apoptosis of tumor cells,thereby inhibiting the growth of the tumors.In this study,short-hairpin RNA sequences targeting the STAT3 genes were designed,synthesized,and then connected to pGPU6/GFP/Neo plasmids as the shRNA-expression vectors.The expression of STAT3-shRNA was analyzed by real-time PCR,western blotting,and cell apoptosis assay to study the growth and apoptosis of the cells.Then,the effect of STAT3 knockdown on the NCI-H1650 cells was studied in a tumor mouse model.The results revealed that,after an in vitro transfection,the proliferation of NCI-H1650 cells was inhibited,and the cells were induced to apoptosis.The mRNA and protein expression levels of STAT3 were downregulated in the STAT3-shRNA group.In vivo,the tumor mass and volume in the STAT3-shRNA group were significantly lower than in the other two groups.Both the in vivo and in vitro results demonstrated a long-period inhibiting effect on NSCLC,especially in vivo,when the tumor inhibition rate could reach 50%in the STAT3-shRNA group,which is an exciting outcome.Moreover,the study of the conjugation of STAT3-shRNA and chitosan-based vectors revealed that they could be combined steadily with good cytocompati-bility and transfection efficiency.These results together provide convincing evidence for the application of STAT3-shRNA used in the treatment of non-small lung cancer,which could be a promoting prospect for the development of gene therapy.ZHANG Wangwang ZHANG Yan JIANG Zhiwen SUN Le WANG Litong GU Zhiyang LI Wenya GUO Lili CHEN Xiaotong ZHANG Haibin HAN Baoqin CHANG Jing 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,5:0
18Optical detection of quantum geometric tensor in intrinsic semiconductors显示文摘Quantum geometric tensor, including a symmetric real part defined as quantum metric and an antisymmetric part defined as Berry curvature, is essential for understanding many phenomena. In this study, we investigated the photogalvanic efect of semiconductors with time-reversal-invariant and spatial inversion symmetries using the quantum kinetic equation. We concluded that the integral of the symmetric(antisymmetric) part of quantum geometric tensor on the equal energy surface in momentum space, satisfying the resonance condition, is related to the generation rate of carriers in semiconductors under linearly(circularly) polarized light. Under additional bias voltage, the dc photocurrent is proportional to the bias voltage. Our study provided an alternative interpretation for the photogalvanic efect in the view of quantum geometric tensor. 19Aluminum tanning of hide powder and skin pieces under microwave irradiation显示文摘The application and mechanism study of microwave irradiation in traditional industries have attracted considerable attention owing to the unique thermal and athermal effects that could lead to unexpected benefits in high-efficiency and clean production.Herein,we report the investigation of the aluminum tanning under microwave irradiation upon using hide powder and skin pieces,respectively,as simulants of real hide or skin.The aluminum tanning process and the tanned products under microwave heating(MWH)were studied and compared with those of conventional water bath heating(WBH)as the controls.For the tanning system of hide powder,the tanning effluents were analyzed in terms of pH,conductivity,dielectric constant and aluminum content,and the tanned powder was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermogravimetric(TG)analysis,and FT-IR spectroscopy.For the skin piece system,the pH and aluminum content of tanning effluents were also determined,and at the same time,DSC,TG,SEM,FT-IR and shrinkage temperature were used to illustrate the actions of microwaves on the structure and properties of the tanned pieces.The results show that aluminum reactivity in the penetration and binding process of collagen fibers in hide powder and skin pieces improved using microwave treatment.The residual aluminum content was greatly reduced by microwave heating action,and the increased amount of aluminum with evener distribution was observed in the tanned products.Microwave irradiation also resulted in the tanned products with better thermal stability and thermal decomposition resistance.This work further promotes application of microwave treatments for aluminumbased tanning in leather industry.Yue Liu Bin Song Jinwei Zhang Carmen Gaidau Haibin Gu 2020Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2020,2,1:0
