| 3 | High electrocaloric effect in barium titanate-sodium niobate ceramics with core-shell grain assembly显示文摘Electrocaloric effect(ECE)is promising in realizing solid-state cooling as an alternative to the conventional refrigeration with environmentally harmful coolant and low efficiency.High ECE in lead-free ferroelectric ceramics is highly desirable for the EC cooling.In this work,different from the researches that tune the ECE by conventional compositional design or external stress engineering,we fabricated the(1-x)BaTiO_(3)-xNaNbO_(3)(BTO-xNN)lead-free ceramics with a core-shell grain structure arising from the inhomogeneous stoichiometry of element distribution,leading to the internal compressing stress in the grains.It is interesting that the phase transition behavior,including the phase transition temperature and the diffusion property,is regulated by the core-shell grain structure induced internal stress,which can be capitalized on for the favorable ECE.Cooperated with 0.02 NN,a high ECE,e.g.adiabatic temperature change(ΔT)of 3.6 K and isothermal entropy change(ΔS)of 4.5 J kg^(-1) K^(-1),is attained in the BTO ceramic.As the internal stress further increases with more NN,the BTO-0.06NN exhibits an extremely stable ECE with a variety rate below ±4% in a wide temperature range from 300 K to 360 K.This work provides a novel approach to explore pronounced ECE in lead-free ferroelectrics for eco-friendly refrigeration. | Chao Zhang Quanpei Du Wenru Li Dong Su Meng Shen Xiaoshi Qian Bing Li Haibo Zhang Shenglin Jiang Guangzu Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Materiomics2020,6,3: | 4 |
| 4 | A study on optimal control of the aero-propulsion system acceleration process under the supersonic state显示文摘In order to solve the aero-propulsion system acceleration optimal problem,the necessity of inlet control is discussed,and a fully new aero-propulsion system acceleration process control design including the inlet,engine,and nozzle is proposed in this paper.In the proposed propulsion system control scheme,the inlet,engine,and nozzle are simultaneously adjusted through the FSQP method.In order to implement the control scheme design,an aero-propulsion system componentlevel model is built to simulate the inlet working performance and the matching problems between the inlet and engine.Meanwhile,a stabilizing inlet control scheme is designed to solve the inlet control problems.In optimal control of the aero-propulsion system acceleration process,the inlet is an emphasized control unit in the optimal acceleration control system.Two inlet control patterns are discussed in the simulation.The simulation results prove that by taking the inlet ramp angle as an active control variable instead of being modulated passively,acceleration performance could be obviously enhanced.Acceleration objectives could be obtained with a faster acceleration time by5%. | Sun Fengyong Du Yao Zhang Haibo | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,2: | 4 |

| 6 | Arctic multiyear sea ice variability observed from satellites:a review显示文摘In comparison with seasonal sea ice(first-year ice,FY ice),multiyear(MY)sea ice is thicker and has more opportunity to survive through the summer melting seasons.Therefore,the variability of wintertime MY ice plays a vital role in modulating the variations in the Arctic sea ice minimum extent during the following summer.As a response,the ice-ocean-atmosphere interactions may be significantly affected by the variations in the MY ice cover.Satellite observations are characterized by their capability to capture the spatiotemporal changes of Arctic sea ice.During the recent decades,many active and passive sensors onboard a variety of satellites(QuikSCAT,ASCAT,SSMIS,ICESat,CryoSat-2,etc.)have been used to monitor the dramatic loss of Arctic MY ice.The main objective of this study is to outline the advances and remaining challenges in monitoring the MY ice changes through the utilization of multiple satellite observations.We summarize the primary satellite data sources that are used to identify MY ice.The methodology to classify MY ice and derive MY ice concentration is reviewed.The interannual variability and trends in the MY ice time series in terms of coverage,thickness,volume,and age composition are evaluated.The potential causes associated with the observed Arctic MY ice loss are outlined,which are primarily related to the export and melting mechanisms.In addition,the causes to the MY ice depletion from the perspective of the oceanic water inflow from Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and the water vapor intrusion,as well as the roles of synoptic weather,are analyzed.The remaining challenges and possible upcoming research subjects in detecting the rapidly changing Arctic MY ice using the combined application of multisource remote sensing techniques are discussed.Moreover,some suggestions for the future application of satellite observations on the investigations of MY ice cover changes are proposed. | BI Haibo LIANG Yu WANG Yunhe LIANG Xi ZHANG Zehua DU Tingqin YU Qinglong HUANG Jue KONG Mei HUANG Haijun | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,4: | 2 |

| 19 | Construction of nanofibrous scaffolds with interconnected perfusable microchannel networks for engineering of vascularized bone tissue显示文摘Vascularization and bone regeneration are two closely related processes during bone reconstruction.A three-dimensional(3D)scaffold with porous architecture provides a suitable microenvironment for vascular growth and bone formation.Here,we present a simple and general strategy to construct a nanofibrous poly(L-lactide)/poly(ε-caprolactone)(PLLA/PCL)scaffold with interconnected perfusable microchannel networks(IPMs)based on 3D printing technology by combining the phase separation and sacrificial template methods.The regular and customizable microchannel patterns within the scaffolds(spacings:0.4 mm,0.5 mm,and 0.6 mm;diameters:0.8 mm,1 mm,and 1.2 mm)were made to investigate the effect of microchannel structure on angiogenesis and osteogenesis.The results of subcutaneous embedding experiment showed that 0.5/0.8-IPMs(spacing/diameter=0.5/0.8)and 0.5/1-IPMs(spacing/diameter=0.5/1)scaffolds exhibited more vascular network formation as compared with other counterparts.After loading with vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),VEGF@IPMs-0.5/0.8 scaffold prompted better human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)migration and neo-blood vessel formation,as determined by Transwell migration,scratch wound healing,and chorioallantoic membrane(CAM)assays.Furthermore,the microangiography and rat cranial bone defects experiments demonstrated that VEGF@IPMs-0.5/0.8 scaffold exhibited better performance in vascular network formation and new bone formation compared to VEGF@IPMs-0.5/1 scaffold.In summary,our results suggested that the microchannel structure within the scaffolds could be tailored by an adjustable caramel-based template strategy,and the combination of interconnected perfusion microchannel networks and angiogenic factors could significantly enhance vascularization and bone regeneration. | Jiani Gu Qianqian Zhang Mengru Geng Weizhong Wang Jin Yang Atta ur Rehman Khan Haibo Du Zhou Sha Xiaojun Zhou Chuanglong He | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,10: | 1 |
